If you have the wrong part don’t expect a refund. Vary poor customer service. Employees are rude I will never shop at this store again.
I have bought many parts there and one time I ordered off the internet and someone brought the part to my house when they closed that day. The man is very knowledgeable in the appliance field, however his social skills are not up to normal customer service standards. Good place if you are not expecting any greetings or customer service.
Terrible return policy and no flexibility. I returned a part unopened and was charged a 25% fee for restocking (which meant sticking the part back in a basket behind the counter). I was not told that all sales are final or that there was a restocking fee before I purchased the part. I only found out on the receipt. Too late.
Courteous and patient when I called to check availability for a part. The part was in stock as opposed to another local supplier, and the price was significantly better. I went to pick up the part within a half hour and service at the location was as great as on the phone. Quick, friendly service was much appreciated.
I purchased a part for my air conditioner here. It works great as expected. It was even a little past their closing time on Saturday and they still let me purchase the item. I have purchased from them for several years and they always have been helpful and courteous with excellent customer service. I highly recommend doing business with this company.
I have used Appliance Masters for many years. I have used them for repairs to a washer, dryer, freezer, and side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. They always do a great job, and the repairs have lasted a long time. The service technician left my house around 8:00 pm on a Saturday to get our refrigerator/freezer going again. In a few hours, we were able to get food out of coolers and back in the unit. My advice to any prospective customer is be patient. A good job takes time, and jobs can and do take longer. The customer before you wanted their repair completed in a lasting manner, and so do you. I recommend Appliance Masters, and I will use them again.
Very rude and unprofessional. Wont answer the phone. Will not let you know when parts are in and the lady that answers the phone is hateful and blames you for her incompetents.
Rude is definately true about this business.I have visited only a few times. Ive never bought anything but a small part for $20. Sure it was not worth that much but didnt have time to order online.Over the years I have been in the market for new appliances but I can assure you I will never give this place my business and will not recommend anyone go there.Insulting and downright disrespectful. Apparently this man is bitter about customers not being 100% loyal to appliance masters. With this place being one of the few local appliance shops in the area its unfortunate the ownership isnt more welcoming. Not that I care, but it would attract more business. Sure I only wanted a 20 dollar part but I have bought several appliances over the years and never would take a step in this place again.I look forward to a rude comment or Bible verse from the owner, but that doesnt intimidate me. Had a broken oven. Disassembled my oven and went to Appliance Masters for a replacement part. They had a discontinued part that is hard to find online. Now the kids are eating pizza cooked from the oven.
Jared with appliance masters was at my house within 2 hours of my initial call to the store to report an issue with my washing machine. He was very kind and had my washing machine fixed in about 15 minutes. GREAT SERVICE, GREAT TEC!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Jan.2019, They came said washer was fixed & left first load wouldnt drain. Called back the guy was supposed to come out around 5pm showed up at 9:30 pm with a female, said it was his girlfriend, they had flash lights walking around the yard then through the house(weird). Its now doing the same thing, just called the manager they said if thats whats out theyll fix it, I said ok my brother is bringing it to you she said no we wont fix it like that! I said no one is coming back in the house, have a good day!
On Thursday, March 12, 2015, I took my dryer to Appliance Masters because it had quit working. They said they would look it over and call me when they knew. I didnt receive a call so I called them Monday afternoon. They told me the element was out and how much it would be and I told them to go ahead and make the repair. I also paid a delivery fee and set up fee to have it delivered back to my house and hooked up. I had my wife set up a delivery date of March 18, 2015, at 4pm. She took off from work early to be at the house to meet them, only at 4:10 they called to say they couldnt deliver it today. I asked why they waited so late to tell me the delivery wouldnt be made today and they said they were short handed, which I understand, but if they had called earlier, then my wife could have stayed at work. At this point, the man became frustrated and said he would just refund my delivery and setup fees and I could pick it up myself. Very unprofessional.
I dont know if the guy is ride or just has zero personality and zero customer service skills but Ill go elsewhere. Amazon can have the part here in a couple days and I dont have to deal with socially inept people.
I have never seen a business run by such rude people. I watched as two people ahead of were mistreated. The first was brushed aside and told to leave and stop wasting the owners (I presume) time when he tried to ask questions about a part he needed that they didnt have. The second was brushed aside when he couldnt provide the information the owner said he needed in order to find a replacement part. The owner then declared the store to be closed, regardless of the fact that I had been patiently waiting for several minutes behind those two. When the other would-be customer voiced his discontent with the owners attitude, another man, whom I presume to be the owners son, came out of the back and tried to start a fight.I will never give my business to these terrible people, and I recommend others shop elsewhere, as well.Edit: Since it doesnt give me a way to respond to the owners response, Ill just add it here. You, sir, are a liar. The first guy I saw you drive off was completely polite when you told him to leave. Even if there was something I hadnt seen, which had been resolved to such a point that he would demonstrate no further belligerence, that does not excuse the lack of professionalism and discourtesy I saw. You have no sense of how to treat customers. You treat us as though were an imposition instead of being appreciative that were trying to give you our business. Youre a bad businessman and a poor model of Christian behavior.
Rude, misleading, dont offer warranties, argumentative, never spending $ there. UNPROFESSIONAL. Purchased dyer element in January & was told it was good for a year. Old man implied it was my error, yet i have had my dryer about 8 yrs even with roommate & this is the 1st thing i have replaced. If original lasted so long, how can i get less than a year on this one. No warranty was offered. Stopped working in 7 months. Go to exchange & the old man has the most obnoxious attitude, raising his voice. He offered another element at a cheaper price but got irritated when I asked to see the part before purchase. Again no offer of a warranty. Considering I bought something that ceased to work I have a right to see what I will spend my $ on now knowing what to look for. I was told by a female worker, they dont have time to school customers on what they need. She refused to give her name & gave me a card & told me she was no longer speaking to me. Sad Im the customer but get treated so poorly. Instead of lunch Im headed to file a complaint in person at the BBB. Wouldnt recommend this place to my enemy
I wish I had a chance to read these reviews before I wasted money. I bought a part today and was going to try and take it back today. I thought I needed a timer for my dryer but come to find out it was the breaker in my apt. I spent $162.37 now they tell me electrical parts are not refundable even if it hasnt been used. I was under the impression that you could not return electrical parts that had been put on. Yes Im a woman and thought they would have made that clear to me. I would not recommend for the simple fact that it was not explained to me clearly. Now Im stuck with a dryer timer that I cant use. Yes I learned a lesson to never assume anything, if I had know to ask that question I would have.
I diagnosed the problem with my dryer and called these guys with the part number. Had one in stock and told them I was on my way. Had it ready to go when I got there and it was the correct part. Dryer now heats like its new. Dont know why these guys get a bad rep. Treat people with respect, you get respect back. In addition there is a big sign right at the register that says no refunds on electronic parts. If you arent sure of your diagnostic skills leave it to the professionals before you start throwing parts at it, then the burden falls on them because they might sell a part that you damaged.

Purchased a small refrigerator. Wanted to shop local. Had it delivered. The tech arrived and found no fitting on my copper supply line for the ice maker. A $2 compression fitting was known to be needed. Rather then simply deliver the fridge as agreed, the tech advised my wife he should to clip the copper line off. (As noted, the line only needed $2 a fitting). She, not familiar with such, took the tech at his word and agreed. Lesson learned for her. So rather then a $2 5 minute fix, its now a $22 and 1 hour fix.However, when I called the Pearl store for clarification, the owner passed the phone off to the tech that happened to be standing by. When asked why he took it upon himself to perform the installation, he lied saying the line was crimped. Which it was, 2 inches from the end. An easy fix. Rather then enter customer service mode, he began to curse and claim I was petty for requesting clearificafion on his acting beyond our purchase and delivery agreement. Then exclaiming hed drive back by and throw my copper tube in my yard. True to his word, we find the tube (balled up, but still only crimped 2 inches from the end) on our front lawn.Returning to the store, the owners still failed to enter customer service mode. They stated that they were scolding the tech as he berated me, the customer, on the phone. But that they would not accept a return of the fridge nor would they simply apologize for his actions.Well be ordering our washer, dryer and built in fridge elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.
Easy to schedule an in-home repair. Techs that come out are knowledgeable, quick, and professional. Have used for in-home appliance repair multiple times with no issues.

I walked in to get an element for my oven and the lady that was behind the counter was very rude with no customer service skills.The element for my oven was $43 I thought that was extremely high,I bought it.I spoke with my brother when I walked back to my car and he said take it back its to expensive.I walked back in with my receipt and unopened package and they said we cant take it back.I said I just walked in your store not 5 minutes ago and the told me no refunds and were very mean.PLEASE DO NOT SHOP THERE EVER!! THEY ARE A DISGRACE!! IM CALLING THE BBB.
Rude. Ive called twice before with simple questions and the men answering the phones cant seem to get off the phone fast enough. Short, unfriendly and not professional at all. It shouldnt be that difficult to give me a price on a generic 8in heating element replacement. Get off your fanny and go check a price if a customer who ultimately helps to keep your bills paid is requesting one.
I called to have a knob on my washer machine replaced. The guy that answered the phone told me most people just go and buy another knob Well...if I could do that...then why would I call a repair man??? I made the mistake of telling him my husband was out of the country andI didnt want to wait 30 days for my washer to be fixed. After I hung up...I had callers remorse. I would never want to do business with a bunch of rude dingbats. Boo hiss! Im spreading the word!!!

Ive bought parts from this place over the years and well before they moved to their current location. Everytime its a hassle dealing with them. They act like the customer is bothering them. And dont expect to get them on the phone anytime after 4:15 pm when they are closing at 5. Terrible customer service all the way around.
This company is a rip off, and they came to fix one aplliance in my house and caused my garbage disposer to be broken and would not accept accountability for their mistake. They offered to come back to fix the problem but said they would charge us more money. As I am speaking with this man, about his mistake, some one in the back ground was laughing. They are very unprofessional and I will never ask them to fix anything else in my house.
NEVER BUY FROM this Company. -- I arrived at 5:58 pm on Wednesday, 8/22/2012 after making the 45 minute drive from Madison to the store. (There was an accident with injuries that backed traffic up on I20.)The door was locked even though they post closing at 6 pm on their website. A man was sitting behind the counter. I got his attention but he appeared to be on speaker phone with someone. He blasted back at me that they had closed at 5:30 pm. I explained through the door that I had driven from Madison 45 minutes to get this part. He said, I dont care, I am busy. I continued to request that he open up to allow me to get the part. He refused. I asked if the owner was around and he said, I am him, now get off the property before I call the police.Can you imagine any small business treating any new potential customer in this way in this economy.Please find your parts or service somewhere else. This guy doesnt deserve anyones business.

The most rude managed service company I have ever dealt with. I called to set up an appointment, waited all day for them to confirm the appointment; after never hearing from them, I called back up there to see what time they were coming by my home and I wanted to be there when the technician arrived to explain; I had already taken the lid and front cover off to expose the leak and to show where I put the screws, lid, and the part I had already bought to fix it. He immediately cut me off and said, Ill have to cancel your work order. We do not work on anything that you yourself have touched. I am a mechanically inclined person, I see a leak, I find the source and then determine rather I want to fix it. For sake of the reader, Ill stop now before I explain really how I feel about the gentleman who took my call. It was the same worthless guy I see every time I go in there and wouldnt pay him to break down the card board boxes the appliances come in. Theres several companies in the Area, use them and save yourself some grief. Because this company could care even less about you and the reason you called them in the first place.PS this is the 3rd time Ive had a problem and I always give benefit of doubt but not again.
I just called to get an estimate or have someone do a quote to repair my washer. The man who answered the phone said there’s no way for me to get an estimate without committing to the service. I wanted to make sure repairs wouldn’t be more than the cost of a new washer. He was rude and hung up on me.
