I had services done there in the past under better circumstances. The last time I had services done in September 2021 it didnt go well. The reason is when I picked my car up someone backed up in my car and was silemt about the incident. My car was left in their care so I thought they should be responsible. My car was also drove to another shop for an alignment. So between the two places something occurred. The owner didnt act responsible he lied and said my car was already like that when I brought it in. Well when you do wrong to others you will reap what you done. I would never go back or recommend anyone because of the way they handled my situation. The owner could care less. SO SAD

This place is great! We dropped in, no appointment necessary, and had a Ford F-350 oil change and 2 fuel filters changed in less than an hour. The guy behind the counter was very knowledgeable, and the man who did the work did a very nice job. They offered to vacuum, but we have four dogs and whats the point. Somebody else reviewed that there was nothing but kids that work there, but I didnt see a teenager or a young person anywhere around. It looks like all the employees knew what they were doing. This is a nice little shop and we recommend it.

I stopped in for a normal oil change. 2wks later mycar wouldnt crank,had to have it towed. Upon inspection, a sensor was out and oil filter hasnt been changed in so long, it was falling apart. Never trust them!!! Cost me alot of money which shouldnt have happened had I had the proper oil change

Well it was a great place. But I think I was overcharged for my work on my cchysler 2oo car .And 2months later NY brakes went outSp I just did nt return back.

I had them repair my 92 dodge stealth that was in my garage for a decade. They went above and beyond to get it running again.

I would not recommend getting a transmission fluid change any Dodge Ram trucks the repair kit ruin my transmission.

A friend of mine from out of town needed their starter bolt tighten and instead of doing just that they replaced the whole starter after acknowledging only the bolt needed to be tightened. Less than 2 hours later the truck refused to start. After going back they stated he needed a new relay switch. They replaced the switch, installed new battery cables and charged him another $300 and guess what, yep, less then a day later the truck wont start. We left a note for them with his number and the issues that still remained, they have yet to call him back.

Service is fast as always. The elder gentleman is always a pleasure to see. Hes very customer oriented. Give the place that nice oomph it has. Been a customer for years.....when it was once Precision Tune.

I can only give REVIEW on the car wish side as Ive never had service from the automotive repair & maintenance side.This used to be my go-to car wash. Id visit this facility at least 4x a month, passing up numerous other closer options. I always took my time spending at least 8$ each time (sometimes upwards of 11$ or more depending on options and how thoroughly I washed).Sadly though... I think my experience today will lead me to find a different car wash.The brushes are worn out to the point the bristles are falling out and not capable of cleaning ANYthing. The foaming soap option via the brush? Nope. It was dispensing pink colored water without a single soap bubble or any suds in sight. I was better off wiping my vehicle by hand and rinsing.I ended up using the high-pressure soap option and then rinsing with the high pressure rinse option. I still had to try the touchless to get my vehicle somewhat clean (another 5$ that was covered via a voucher from the employees at the auto care counter due to my inconvenience of no soap dispensing).Maybe Ill give it another shot. Maybe.Itll take the soap actually being soap (and not pink water) and the brushes being in a somewhat usable condition for me to consider trying again in the not so distant future.(For anyone doubting or wondering I do have more videos/photos to show pink water and condition of the wash brushes).

I honestly really like them, I feel and so far feel they are really there to help and are always helpful and the service is always been fast ! Like oil change in 25 mins tops just walking in . They even help with questions and just seem very genuine. And they have been very well priced definitely on the cheaper end, BUT GOOD QUALITY AND GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE 👍

3 drop offs, 6 days and $1200 later the vehicle is in worse condition then when I brought it in.

The professionalism of everybody is the biggest thing for my wife and i. Alot of auto shops will try and upsale on things you dont need. They are very to the point on what the problem is and what needs to get done. On top of that i dont think anyone around town can beat their prices. Hope you all enjoy those donuts. Your car wash isnt working well yesterday night the Bay next to the auto car wash I put $20 in quarters in there thinking I was going to get a good wash I started washing and scrubbing it with the brush I used the tire foam and there was no tire degreaser foam coming out of it theres no wax coming out of it they was barely any soap in that one Bay so I wasted $20 on washing my car basically all I got to do was rent it the brush that was on there left lines I wish they would use a solid brush like a end of a squeegee scrubber

Do not take your car or truck here I went in for an oil change and two days later my truck went into reduced engine power mode its been in the shop for 3 weeks and I just got it back. Just changed my oil and seems like they never changed it in the first place. Plus if they did the rounded off the drain plug. I recommend that no one goes to this place they are a rip off.

I am never dissatisfied with their service or promptness.

For s long-time

Took my car for an oil change. My vehicle had been in perfect condition prior. They advised me that they checked all my fluids and everything looked good, even stated “they couldn’t find anything wrong with it” five days later I am broken down on the side of the road (Waiting for a tow truck) because my car is over heating. I truly believe that they in fact DID NOT check like I was told. There was hardly any fluid in my reservoir, with no obvious leaks, damage to hoses or belts. Called and spoke to the manager who assured me that yes they do check all the fluids yet can’t prove it. Will never go to them again. The manager was very unprofessional with this situation and had no compassion or concern. A $40 oil change is now gonna be far more than what I can afford to spend, especially on a vehicle that had no issues.

First Stop is only located on Mobile Hwy. Great place; go there!This location (Davis Hwy) has not been a First Stop for many years! I just drove by this location and it looks like it is in the process of another ownership change.

This place is honest and great. my only complaint is they close at 1 on Saturday and thats the only day I have to get any work done on my car since I work during the week. theyd get much more business if they stayed open till 4 or 5

I can only rate this place one star just to leave a bad review. They took avantage of my 17 year old son who brought his car there to get a oil changed on a 2007 model charged him synthetic oil for an old car. 60 something dollars. After I had done called up there twice to speak to a lady at the front desk to let her know that my son will be coming up there and what type of old change he will need.....and when I called this morning to handle the problem the mechanic was rude and was talking over me and would not let me finish talking so I had to get loud and then he said I was being rude and hung up on me.

STAY AWAY!! A lot of the glowing reviews are from employees, family and friends. On 11/22/19 I had my car towed here, it ran perfect just needed a new alternator and valve covers (which I already bought). Today is 11/23/19 I go pick up the car and before I even get half way home (I only live a mile away) service engine light comes on, stalls out and is now idling rough. The plastic guards are also hanging from under fender well and bumper rubbing against tire. I took it back to tell them, they check it out, Julie and I think his name is Frank or something who says he did the work himself comes back in and the first words out of her mouth are its nothing we did its the coils they were so saturated with oil. But then Frank says he drove it yesterday and so did someone else and it ran perfect and smooth. So now its cost me almost $600 for repairs not including the parts I already bought, only to get a car back that runs worse than when it went in.

Wonderfully friendly. Service manager called me several time to help me with selecting a set of tires. Work was done on time and correctly. They even vacuumed my truck after the work was done. Its those little things that set them apart. They have my business

This place is dishonest about repairs you need, I went in for a flush and fill and was told I needed up to a $1000 of repairs,I went elsewhere got flush and fill, my truck is running fine, no problems. Customers beware.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL...I recently was traveling and needed car repairs in PEN. Even though the work did not fix the problem, they issued me a full refund!!! Now how often does a company do that? Customer service is NOT dead, its alive and well at First Stop Auto Ctr.

Dont take your car here for anything other than an oil change, its a bunch of kids with very basic knowledge about automobiles, i went to work for this guy and heard rumors that he doesnt pay what he promises that he will, and then had to leave after a full day and a half to back to where i was previously working because of a family emergency that i couldnt leave them hanging, and guess what? The dude didnt pay me for my time at ALL, not one dime. Glad i didnt get burned for more time than that.

My boyfriend took my car up there to get an oil change. They said I needed a new air filter but they didnt have one in shop, called another shop and said it would be there in 10 minutes. Never changed the air filter or even mention that they were not going to. Told him a belt was shredded but couldnt tell him which one. Worst of all they broke my necklace that was hanging from the rearview mirror (very short chain) which had a charm with my moms ashes in it, and never said anything about it or tried to make it right. I just found it broken in the middle console. Never again. Dont trust any personal belongings inside the vehicle around these people.

Over charged and didnt get everything I was charged for and didnt get everything done as requested even after keeping it almost two days then I counted the money out handed it to her and was paying the rest on my card how five twenties turn into four is beyond me and now it drips water in on the driver side and did something with the fans to where my battery was dead and two hoses on the car were not connected

Had an electric window repaired back in Sept 2011 on my VW beetle. They scratched my drivers door panel down to the bare mental. All I got was an offer for a free oil change. Hated my experience there with manager (John) Had to go back Sept 2012 as window was not working properly, but was still under warranty. Hated the thought of having to deal with(John)again, but the warranty caused me to return.I was pleasantly surprised to hear John and that crew of techs no longer worked there. Joe was the new Manager and he fixed me right up. He asked me to share my previous experience with John, as I did.He apologized for the way I was treated previously, and fixed the repair beautifully under warranty with no additional fees to me. And to my amazment, Joe had the door panel completely re- painted at a cost of $218.00. Cost to me,$0 dollars. I would not hesitate taking my car back to First Stop now that Joe is the manager. He worked very hard to make me happy and get my business back. And it worked! Awesome group of guys!

Great costumers service and good prizes

So my dad, mom and myself all take our cars here and have been for years. The last time we did, my mom and I noticed our oil lights came on only weeks after having the oil changed. Sure enough after about three weeks there was no oil and no leak. A very close church member said the same thing happened to her vehicle after going here. Not sure if its a race thing or what but we will NEVER go back smh
