Guy and his crew do a good job fixing cars. If you need your car “FIXED” these are they guys. You are going to pay, but your car will be repaired and they stand by their work.

These guys are the Porsche specialists. Awesome! I have a 00 Carrera 4 Cabriolet with 40k. I knew of a IMS bearing was a possible issue. They recommended the redesigned direct injection IMS system. Save me thousands later. They serviced transmission, replaced plugs & coils, and coolant change because the engine was out.These guy have addressed any issues that have arise on my car. Love Guy’s place! This is the only shop to which I bring my Landmark LR4 and my Supercharged Range (including the dealer in Mobile). He is always honest with me and upfront about pricing and what he thinks might be wrong. I know enough about cars, labor, and costs, to know an honest mechanic when I meet one, and you cannot go wrong here. Warranties his work, takes care of his customers, and loves what he does, which shows in the care he gives my Rovers! You don’t need to look anywhere else.

Had a Pre-Purchase Inspection performed at this shop before making the trip to Pensacola from Central Florida to purchase a Pre-Owned S Class. Both the staff and owner were very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. The owner was methodical and even picked up on tiny faults on the car that didn’t even appear on the Mercedes Diagnostic tool. Highly recommended!!!

Serviced on my Mercedes twice and also took care of the parts when a beach mouse made a home in my engine. Have had very good experience with Guy and the price is better than the dealership. I had awful service at the Pensacola Centennial Mercedes dealership. Wish they had a shuttle service but the car service has been great!

Brought car here with bad mechatronic unit. I ordered one with warranty and brought to him. After installation it would not program. Company sent me another. When I dropped it off myself and Guy inspected it and it had no physical damage. 6 weeks went by and he had not worked on it, so I went to pick up car and get the original and unit I had dropped off 6 weeks prior. The unit I gave him was now damaged in several areas. Looks like it was dropped, which may be the reason he did not work on car again. My bad for bringing a used part, but this shop damaged the second one. I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone!!!

Guy is a good mechanic and has worked on my Audis for several years. He has a very unique skill set and is a real asset to the Pensacola area for an automotive enthusiast.

Took my LR Defender in for Engine work. 5 weeks later I was told they were all scratching their heads about the problem. The problem is that my truck sat for almost a month with no complete diagnosis, and no parts ordered. Issue was a broken timing belt and some bent pushrods. What would have taken any other automotive shop a week or less to diagnose and repair took these guys over a month, and my truck is still not repaired. The problem is letting a vehicle sit for weeks, and then hurrying the job at the last minute. It is just poor business. I was going to take my truck to another shop after week one because I sensed I was getting the runaround. Guy quickly told me he wouldn’t use the shop I was going to have it towed to. I think Guy is a capable mechanic. He simply should not take on work if his shop is too busy to complete the work in a timely manner. After five weeks I had my truck towed to another shop, but I gave them one last opportunity to make things right by asking if they could at least diagnose the reason it still would not run. They said ‘it won’t be today’. If I treated my clients like this I’d be working all day, every day to make things right. It was tough to pay over $1,000 for repairs, AND have to tow it out of their shop. Lesson learned. Will never use or recommend Palafox Imports ever again. If you use these guys, demand a timeframe for the work to be completed. They told me one to two weeks; turned in to five. One positive note...the front desk guy, Will, was very professional and friendly. I have a feeling he’s constantly apologizing for his employer.

Guy has always went above & beyond when it came to all of my vehicles. Such a genuine person who knows what they are talking about. They are the best at what they do. & I always feel comfortable knowing that he will take care of my vehicle. I travel a lot because of my job and always bring my vehicles to Guy and the crew at Palafox Imports. They are the BEST at what they do, hands down. There has never been a time I felt like my vehicle was not in good hands with them and on the road there is never any less than 100% confidence in my vehicle thanks to them. And I’m talking from Washington state to FL and back on some trips. Been taking my vehicles to Guy for years and I will NOT go see anyone else. Not to mention they are always friendly and make themselves as available as possible for questions during business hours...which always puts my mind at ease on the road. I’ve had my Audi TT fixed twice at this shop. Guy is extremely honest, passionate about what he does, and always ensures I walk out of there with my car in mint condition for about a third of the price I would expect. He charges way less in labor costs than any other shop I’ve been to and does exceptional work. After the first visit, I decided I was never going anywhere else. If you’re looking for an honest shop where you can get top quality work done for a third of the price you would expect from a dealer, come to this place. I went in to see why my check engine light was on. I was happy to find a friendly and clean garage. The owner was through with finding the problem and kept me informed each step. He informed of things that could be done but we decided to only do what had to be done now. It was the difference of about $700. I was impressed that they gave me good service and didnt pressure me in doing work that could wait. When I am ready to have the other items fixed, Palafox Imports will definitely get my business.

What a great experience. This group keep you updated with progress and any charges before commencing the work. No surprises and if you have a Porsche, you expect a little pain when you get the bill. The shop is clean, the customer service is professional. The prices are reasonable.

The guy running the place Guy is a cool guy. He seems to be an honest man running a small shop.

Well, let me start with stating this was not an impressible experience. I came to this repair shop because my husband had prior work done and wanted a 2nd opinion. Unfortunately, he was unable to make this trip and I had the pleasure of meeting this rude, arrogant, know it all worker named Guy. I explained to him that my A/C was not working and wanted a 2nd opinion. He asked where did you go? I stated that am new to the area and not quite sure of the location. His tone and body language were so unprofessional, and he went on to state, whoever told you that it was the compressor, they lied, and they were probably sitting in the back with their face in their hands, wasting your time. He states to me that people go to Autozone and reliable on those diagnosis test and it’s a waste of time because he knows what he is doing. I asked him did he check the flashing light on the dash that I mentioned earlier, he tells me that, that is another system and so it was not checked, that would be another fee to be the diagnosed. He still wanted to know if I wanted him to put Freon, and in the same breath says, it would not last until he fixed the A/C switch. At the end of this nightmare, I paid 110.00 just to round it up; and the issue was that I would need a A/C pressure switch and he was dead WRONG. I was so annoyed that I went for a 3rd opinion but did not tell this person that I had prior opinions. As I explained to know-it-all (Guy). My husband had worn down his tires, so much of the wires were visible on the front right side and thats when the light came on the dash. Come to find out there were 11 wires that were cut due to the exposure of the wires from the front right tire. I saved 437.52 and this diagnosis was 50.00 and would be applied to service, but because I got it fixed on the same it was waived. I will not spend my familys hard-earned money somewhere were not treated with respect, made to feel less than or deal with staff who lack professionalism…This company could at least apply the diagnostic fee towards services.

These guys are scum bags. they call and say your car needs thousands of dollars in work without explaining why and just expect you to approve them to spend away. they presume nobody knows anything about cars and wont question them as to why they think the vehicle needs these alleged repairs. they are also quite high pressure on the sale tactics. CONSUMER BEWARE!

Had oil and filter change on 13 981 Boxster S...Guy and his team are thorough and very customer oriented...and he undercut Porsche by 50%. Will take my car back to Palafox anytime!

I was not happy. Much more expensive then quoted or expected, poor communications, the car doesn’t run as well after the service, it was returned dirty, they didn’t do everything I expected for an $800 service like they didn’t even change my old wipers. I won’t be back.
