Not my experience but sure sold my son a POS..side bags blew after 4 days..they will not help him fix it.. he will be out 2000 if he gives it back ..Shame shame shame on their tactics..Ill never recommend them to anyone.. bad business.

Everyone is working as a team to make sure all customers are well taken care of. i recently bought a 2012 Dodge Charger SXT AWD for the year it was in pristine condition they worked with my income and managed to get a perfect deal for me all & all it was a great experience for me shout out to the whole sales team and my sales person Amanda she was very understanding and Tom the manager is the coolest guy and laid back don’t be nervous because of his height he is a funny respectable stand up guy & relatable!

Bought an expensive vehicle.The dealership promised me a full tank, gave me half a tank and wouldn’t fill up the rest.The dealer had promised me military tag exemption which is half the cost of normal tags. Supposedly Tom has been trying to reach me because there was an issue.. I have received no correspondence from Tom or anyone at gulf south probably because it would cost me additional money and not the dealership.Not the worst experience but not a good experience either.

This experience was definitely not what I was expecting. I have been to car lots just to look and see what they had, what kind of financing they do, and how much of a down payment I would need and always felt pressured by the salesman. That is not the case with this car lot. The salesman John was awesome! He didnt make me feel pressured to buy any car. He took the time to show me and tell me about any car I inquired about. The financing team... well they were equally as awesome! They take the time to really explain everything to you and why you are paying what you are paying. I dont have great credit so if you are putting off buying a car because of that, dont. They can help with all sorts of credit types. This is definitely the place to go buy a car! Had an overall good experience with Gulf South Automotive. Drew (our sales representative) and Phillip (general manager) worked diligently with us to find a reasonable price (using Kelley Blue Book) and a reliable car, consistent with other reviews. Admittedly, our process for getting the paperwork done was a bit slow, but that could have been circumstantial to our specific needs. Additionally, there was a tire they had already identified with a leak, which they said they would fix but did not. With all of that being said, I am satisfied with my experience here, and would recommend Gulf South Automotive for anyone looking for a good selection of quality cars.

Terrible. We drove all the way from Mobile to look at a specific vehicle they had listed. We called the day before and on the way to make sure it was still there. The associate said it was. When we got there she was standing outside with who I think may have been her boyfriend and told us the car sold. She probably never checked to see if it was there, didnt even bother to call. She was still hanging on her boyfriend when we left. Gross and unprofessional.

Starting with negatives: Was going well until we got to actual numbers. They were a little pushy throughout, including for extended warranty, but eventually a price was arrived at that was agreeable. Couldve arrived much quicker though and never got an easy to read write out of the final cost.Not many roads to truly test the car as far as performance. Just be aware.Biggest negative though is I left without a spare key that they couldnt find and less than a quarter tank of gas out the door. The last thing Im thinking about is gas after leaving the experience but its such a simple common courtesy to have it full. $30 mistake but annoying.Positives: Very nice staff and building. I was helped throughout the process and even when I had general loan or insurance questions they were answered willingly.General: helpful staff. Left with no spare key and less than 1/4 tank. Slightly pushy on price. Negatives do not outweigh how helpful the staff wasThank you, LFUpdate: They did contact me after and offered to reimburse me for the gas. More than Ive heard most dealers doing after the deal was made. Thank you

Gulf Shores Automotive may have a decent selection of cars but upon visiting I got the impression that they are not very trustworthy or care about the working person. The salesperson Cameron seemed nice enough but I got the impression it was not sincere. I will not be using gulf south automotive for any vehicle needs in my future. I gave my budget, was told one thing, signed a contract in house and then was told different amounts by their third party finacinal instituion and forced to agree to terms or return the vehicle. The whole time gulf south automotive knew nothing of what was going on....just told me it was being hashed out. Long story short im paying more for a vehicle that i have already had to make repairs totalling over the few hundred dollar range within the first week of ownership. Basically i have repaired and sold a vehicle to myself while it seems they could care less. I can only hope others have different experiences with gulfsouth automotive.

Theyre great at selling you broken over priced cars. Its all smiles and laughes until something goes wrong then they will take no responsibility. Just read the responses this location has posted on the other bad reviews they received. No dealership should operate like that. When a customer has an issue you dont reply to the comments insinuating theyre liars or saying that you have no records of them visiting your location . If this place put as much effort into their customer service as they do trying to cover up their own mistakes then just maybe you could call yourself a respectable car dealership. As for now youre more of a scam then anything else.Feel free to respond to this saying you have no record of me visiting your dealership and that Im lying.

Avoid! This is the biggest crock of crap I ever heard of! The price advertised was NOT the price on the lot. The. Manager (that sounds like George Burns) needs to lay off the cigarettes! If he focused on customer service and personal integrity as much as he does hustling people it would a legit place!

Im not going to give any names or what the vehicles are but, I was very disappointed to find that the drive shaft on the truck i was looking at was about to fall off and when I looked at more of their trucks it kinda got worse.. they didnt even clean them, one was caked with mud. They really just want your money

ZERO Stars!!!! Buyer Beware! YoYo financing/scam will be played on you. Meaning if you have bad credit the car company will do whatever they can to get your money any way they can. You give a downpayment knowing that your credit is not great and you drive off the lot with a car/keys and a contract.Oh but wait financial institution must have agreed to finance you thinking everything is great because you have keys and a contract.Weeks and months go by, receive a call stating that the financial institution has not approved you. Your like :(Wait a minute how am I not be approved when I had the car several months and a contract?)All they can tell you that its not and they need the car back immediately!So you bring the car back and even have your contract in hand, asking for your money back.Your met with a NO you will not receive your money back because you contacted BBB and they threaten to call the police if you do not leave the property or the car and keys.Dishonest dealership which is leading to a law suit. You can not keep a persons money when there is a contract and the vehicle is return.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!

The sale people asweel as the manager who went over the documents with me were great. But ive been having problems with my car since ive gotten it. First when i drove off the lot, my tires were bald but they did an i owe you with used tires. when i got the used tires put on, they didnt have much more tread. Secondly after 4 weeks of having the car the a/c compresser went out and still havent been able to get it fixed due to the continuous problems that have been occuring but was quoted for around $400. Next the used tires that were put on, end up splitting and i was stuck on the side of the road for hours and then had to drop $320 to put rear tires on to be able to get to work. And right now my steering is having problems so i went to have it checked and while they were checking it, they did a fluid check and battery check. Come to find out that i had a battery that wasnt even meant for the car, the battery that was in there had a cranking amp of 500 but my car needs a 770 CA and had to replace for $170 (the battery has a sticker that was dated on January of 2018, i had gotten the car in April of 2018). It did not come with stock rear mufflers, was an after market muffler (flowmaster) needless to say that who ever put them on did not clamp them down very well because they end up coming off and ripping the rear valance off. Im already having to spend over $1000 to replace most of this stuff aswell as upkeeping the car.

I had financed a 2013 Hyundai Veloster RE:MIX from them and let me warn whoever wants to buy it from this dealership. First off, there were many issues with it; the left front speaker was blown, the windshield wiper fluid container had leaked all the fluid out, there weren’t any wheel guards for the front tires and the major thing is the bumper. It was not fully attached at all. It was barely hanging on by glue and zip ties. Secondly, the salesman put the incorrect income I have and the wrong amount of rent I pay. So unfortunately the bank canceled my loan and I had to bring the car all the way back from Panama City Beach so it was about 2 hours. Thirdly, they never took the car down for sale. It was posted on CarGurus the whole time I had the car and then they post it for $1000 less than what I got it for lol. This place is a real piece of work and I’d be careful to anyone who goes here.P.S. I have proof all of the repairs my local Hyundai dealership fixed when I had the car.

My experience with not only the employees of gulf south auto but the owner was none the less a waste of money and time, I had bought a vehicle under the impression it was a good deal, I was mistaken, the vehicle with only 1000 miles more than it leaving the lot have multiple problems with the drivetrain and they were unwilling to take responobsility for anything. I will never recommend someone to this shady car stealership, they have wasted my time giving me multiple run arounds, two sided stories and even had the audacity to not only talk poorly of me but also cuss at me, buyers beware of this car lot, THIS IS A STEALERSHIP.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I bought a 2015 car two weeks ago, the actual buying experience was okay. Two days after purchase the check engine light comes on. I call the dealership and they said they would fix it along with the other things on the “we owe.” I drop my new vehicle off Monday for the day, it’s there for 10 hours, all they did was an oil change and removed a dent. Check engine light still on and the rest of the things that were supposed to be done to include a full detail were not complete. I called back the next day to schedule to come in again to have everything completed, I was told they would call me back to set up time, days go by with no call, finally Friday we called up there 4 times trying to get ahold of someone and no one was available each time and said we’d get a call back later in the day, never happened. Called first thing Saturday morning and finally got ahold of the manager, set up an appt for Monday to get the rest of the work done. Dropped off this morning, went to pick up and sure enough the “we owe” is still not complete. Still didn’t get the detail that was promised in the contract I signed. We were tired of Lyfting back and forth and being carless for days so we said forget it. After getting home we notice there’s COUNTLESS chips, dings and scratches all over the vehicle, particularly on the hood, like they set their tools there or something. I am 100% positive they weren’t there before. I’m at a loss for words and don’t know what to do or how to proceed. I feel taken advantage of and jerked around. Now I have to come out of pocket to pay for the repairs to the outside of the vehicle and finish what was promised to me on their end.

I wish I could give them no stars. My mother Bought a Ford Fusion from Gulf south Auto about 5 months ago. 2015, SE, Silver Ford Fusion. The middle trim and basic package for that trim. The car had 41,000 miles and was priced at $16,900. A young, fairly attractive man walks out and greets us. Very nice, well spoken and intelligent sounding. ALL SHOW. They use different voices and tell you all the things the cars has, basic thins like power windows and can hold 5 people and stupid stuff to make the car sound good and like it has so many features. Well we think were getting this amazing deal. They tell us their willing to go down to 16,300 and use her car as a trade in. She traded in a 2006 Chevy Avalance. Book value of the truck is 13,000 at the time. a week later theyre selling it for 5 more then what they bought it from us. They offer 8,000 for her truck. She still owed 3,000. so basically he ended up getting 5,000 as equidy. by time this is all said and done, the vehicle comes out to $14,985. 5 MONTHS LATER, THEY ARE SELLING THE 2016 VERSION OF THE SAME CAR. 2016 SILVER, SE, ECO-BOOST, Ford Fusion WITH 32,000 MILES. 10 LESS THEM THE ONE MY MOM BOUGHT, UPGRADED LUXURY PACKAGE FOR THAT TRIM AND A YEAR NEWER, FOR ONLY $14,999. THEY WANT BASICALLY $ 15,000 OUT THE DOOR VERSE MY MOMS FOR $16,900, OUT THE DOOR $14,985 AFTER HER TRADE IN. THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A CLUELESS LADY. WORLD FORD AND 3 OTHER CAR DEALERSHIPS EVEN SAID THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF HER. FOR HER SAME CAR RIGHT NOW, THEY HAVE 3 OF THEM UP THERE FOR $13,500 EACH. HOW DOES THE CAR PRICE DROP ALMOST $4,400 IN 5 MONTHS.. THEY USED A THIRD PARTY TO CHECK HER CREDIT SCORE AND BY DOING THAT HURT HER CREDIT SCORE. SHE DROPPED FROM A 730 TO 695. THEY GOT HER FOR 6.49% INTEREST TOO. I DONT RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONE. THEY WILL PRAY ON YOU AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU.
