Having to come to this part of town and realize I forgot my helmet at home 45 minutes away I stopped by here to see if they had an extra helmet laying around. Sean was awesome! He threw me something he had and just asked me to bring it back on the honor system. Being busy with work in life its not always easy getting out to ride but they kept me on the trails. Maxx helped us out, Grabbed our bikes from an online order. He installed our kick stands while we waited, sold me a tailgate pad for the bikes, came out and installed the tailgate pads strapped our bikes down and sold us two helmets. I would definitely recommend this shop.

The bike I rented was great! Best bike I have ever ridden. I rent a few bikes per year and ride my buddies bikes.Service was top notch. Helped me make the reservation over the phone. Went above and beyond setting the bike up for me. I’m somewhat picky. The guys are both super knowledgeable and passionate about these bikes. Which makes me enjoy the steed just that much more.I will be back. In fact I will most likely buy my next bike there if I am in AZ. I am moving to the area and this will be my new shop. Even if I have to drive by 4 other shops to get there.

Ive visited Bike Masters several times over the last four years. Being from out of town yet a regular visitor, I looked for a nearby bike shop. Always friendly and professional, my experience yesterday was truly exceptional. My old bike was suffering issues from extended weather and travel exposure. Todd Western proved himself worthy of every customer seeking expert service. He really went the extra mile getting things back in working order, offering suggestions for future maintenance and representing the Bike Masters company. Give this guy a raise and a promotion! He earns it everyday.

Update- Sean was able to fix my dropper post so I dont miss out on any rides while waiting for the dropper manufacturer to send me a replacement for the defective cartridge.Original- Todd and Max fixed up my stumpys derailleur in 2 days ensuring I can make my flagstaff trip. These guys are awesome. They know their stuff and have helped me find the exact mountain bike and road bike that I wanted. Very flexible with setting up payment plans and fairly priced. The rental process was a breeze and also fairly priced. In short, I Highly recommend a visit to this location or any bike Masters shop.Just know that some shops carry different bikes, so check the locations inventory before making the trip.

I had a hub issue with my Santa Cruz Bronson that I purchased from another shop. They were very helpful and transparent about the process. They took care of it and went to bat for me to get the problem taken care of. They know the trails locally and are active participants in the riding community. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Ahwatukee area.

Needed a quick repair for an issue that a local bike enthusiast wasnt able to get quite right. They took it right in and fixed it quickly with expertise and a terrific demeanor. A great experience! Thank you Jordan and Wayne!

I came in to have my fork serviced and a new bb put in. They sent my bike out with the bb not installed all the way so the chain line was off and my chain wouldnt stay on. My brake line was also reinstalled wrong. And because the bb wasnt installed properly Im afraid its ruined now. Not only that, my fork wasnt even rebuilt properly. They left air in the bottom of the fork legs so it pings when it rebounds. They definitely didnt test ride my bike or even heck over the work they did. This place is a waste of money and will make your bike worse than it was to begin with. Dont go here!

Rented two mountain bikes here. Brian was super helpful and cool. Hooked me up with everything I needed, had trail tips. Another guy there even cut me some slack when I couldn’t get my bikes back in time. Thanks guys. Made me want to come back and tell friends. Great place to rent!

Purchased 2 bikes a couple weeks ago and purchased another 2 bikes today. I was planning on buying another two but I may shop somewhere else now. They would not honor the tagged price of the bike and then told me they would have to charge me shipping after they waived the fee to begin with.

My girlfriend and I showed up right at 10:00 am at the 1545 S Power Rd #104 location. She had just bought a new Specialized Ruby Expert and had her first flat tire. After repairing the tire, the rear thru-axle was not threading in to the rear stay. Jordan quickly diagnosed the issue, adjusted the rear derailleur hanger and sent us on our way. Kudos to Jordan for his great customer service and friendly out-going demeanor.

This is a truly fantastic bike shop! Jeremy was very knowledgeable about bikes and was able to recommend a bike with the right fit at the right price. Cant thank him enough for preparing the bike. Really appreciate the extra effort of Jeremy! I would definitely go back again for my bike needs.

I love this shop. Everyone that works here rides bikes. They are very good at what they do and are sometimes VERY busy. They have always tried to get any work i needed done on the spot or as soon as they could. They always encourage me to ride the bike to test any service they have done and are more than willing to find a way to meet my expectations no matter how big or small. Great service is worth waiting for. When i have purchased tires and tubes they have always tried to enlighten me on the how and why of what i am buying. Arizona is hell on bike parts and the try to find a way to give me the best bang for the buck. The people whom i have encountered at this store are always courteous, polite, and real people. Not cookie cutter salesmen trying to sell something but rather they are riders trying to share their love of things two wheeled. If you need a bike shop this is the place to go.

Great bike shop. I rented a beautiful pivot Mack 5. The setup was perfect and it was an extremely well speced bike. They also have a very good recommendations on trails to ride. I would highly recommend them.

Brought my bike in for some new handle bars, they laughed and said they havent made these parts in 15 years. If youre looking for a bike shop to make you feel like an idiot when youre walking out, this is the spot. Never Shopping Here Again.

Brian the manager is AWESOME! He ordered my new bike, spent a great deal of time explaining the bikes features, how to clean the chain, what my tire pressure should be and always goes above and beyond in customer Satisfaction! He is very knowledgeable about the trails, has a fun personality and is willing to help anyway he can. He runs a honest shop and truly, every who works there is so kind. This was not our first bike shop today. However, right off the bat we were told the rim we brought indeed could be fixed.The last shop said no and tried to get us to buy a $60 replacement.The replacement noodle we purchased was half the cost of the last shop.You can hear the passion and expertise when he explains any question you have. No talking down, just good old fashion education.This shop is the difference between a job an a passion.Never again will we attempt another shop, the 30 min car trip from Maricopa was well worth the honesty and service provided. No more Global Bikes.BIKE MASTERS is by far the better shop and our permanent recommendation, right down to the replacement tubes, well worth the visit.

Went in for a simple tube replacement for my tire. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Tube was replaced in 10min, and picked up some chain oil that the clerk recommended for AZ road biking conditions that does the job very well.

No service. Walked in at 11 when the store opened. The employee was talking to another customer and completely ignored me while I waited at the front counter. Just wanted to buy some tubes. I decided to leave and told the guy to have a great day. His response was sorry buddy. Im a retail manager and that was extremely poor service. My first and last time in that store.

Im a very casual rider that has not had a bike in a long while and does not have much knowledge about the various styles of bicycles. I went in with my room mate a month or so ago looking to purchase a road bike to occasionaly ride to work, and the staff was very friendly, informative, and did not pressure us into any sales.After considering the options we both went back and got a hybrid Giant bike that weve both been very happy with. The bikes perform as we were told and it suites our needs. There were more expensive options available but the staff helped us choose the bike we needed based off of what we wanted to use them for.Thanks for being friendly, patient and low pressure!

They are very helpful and good at their jobs took my bike omg to get more sealant put in they adjusted my breaks even order a kit for my shocks ( front was leaking air ) took it back when the parts came in they are great would recommend

Nice place, prices are appropriate and the selection of items/accessories is good. The bikes are a little expensive (personally) but everything else is priced good. The person working was knowledgeable with bikes and corrected my steering bar at no charge

I was told my rear tire was losing air and the Mgr. offered a replacement tube when I picked up the bike. Seemed like a shady way to pull in another $25. I refused and the tire is as good as ever. Be careful with these guys...especially you ladies...they may try to take advantage of you. They seem nice but I heard them dropping all kinds of f-bombs in the break area when they didnt know I was in the store when I dropped off my bike. I wont be going back. The work they did was good though so an extra star for that.

Went to the store today to check out their bikes and accessories in their new location. The service was pretty poor and the one staff member automatically treats me like Im a Walmart bike shopper while I was roaming around the store. He proceeded to remind me how expensive their bikes were and to be careful. Please, get real. If you want good, non-pretentious service there are at least 3 other shops within a few miles of this place.

I went in with my kids to get an inner tube and look at a bike for myself. We were never acknowledged. Two employees were with other customers but couldnt say hi or we will be right with you. They helped another customer even though we had been there. I spent $1400.00 on a new bike today but not at bike masters!

I have shopped here before but today took my bike in for service for the 1st time. They immediately diagnosed the problem with my bike and went about fixing it for free. They insisted that my bike did not need the tuneup I thought it did and instead sent me on my merry way back home. Thanks Javelina Cycles for being honest and helpful.

My goto bike shop for all my mountain bike support and maintenance. They are friendly and very knowledgeable. I always feel comfortable having them work on my bike.

I just moved to the area and was looking for a local shop that i could just find a few parts at, this was close enough to take a quick ride. The service was amazing, the guy in charge (assuming the owner) helped me out tremendously, and believe it or not when we were discussing the options for what i wanted, he actually refereed me to another place in town for better prices (stupid fixie bikes, hard to find colored parts in stock anywhere) i appreciated the honestly, and will be using javelina to install the parts i get from the other place....thanks again guys

Wanted to buy replacement specialty nuts for my bike, but sent me away to ace hardware. Where ace hardware told me need to go to the bike shop. Bike master sales rep didnt even care to look. Disappointed I used to go to this bike shop when they were javelina bikes. Bought both my giant bikes there, when they were javelina bikes. Will never go to bike master at all and would not trust them as a neighborhood bike shop.

My husband walked in here, there were three employees working and neither one of them offered him assistance. He went across the street and bought a bike from target. Smh

Customer service is inconsistent. 1 day they will fix something same night other times its a week and a half turn around. A flaw in their organization is that parts ordered do not ship directly to their shop. They go to their main shop which then has deliver it to the Ahwatukee store.

I like them.
