My experience with Fairway Auto Sales was truly amazing and such a welcomed surprise after dealing with numerous dealerships of all sizes over the past few weeks while on my search. Kevin is knowledgable, friendly and efficient. We. made an appointment, drove the car, he arranged financing through our credit union for us, drew up the paperwork and had us on our way in under 30 minutes from start to finish. The vehicle was clean, almost half a tank of gas and ready to go. Be prepared with cash or check because he does not take debit or credit cards. The vehicle came with a 4 month/4000 mile partial warranty which is not a common occurrence with used vehicles and there were no additional fees added on at the end other than the DOC fee which everyone has. What you see is what you get with Kevin and Fairway Auto Sales...10 out of 10 definitely recommend!

I did not have the same wonderful experience that others did, and frankly some of the reviews sound a little too professional if you know what I mean. Bought a 2013 335i 6 speed manual. Kevin was nice enough, most people who sell for a living are before the sale. Got put with a sub-prime lender even though I had a credit score of close to 800. Didnt take long to figure out why I got such good deal on the car even though what I purchased is a hot commodity right now. I bought car from just pictures and his description as Im in Dallas. Car ended up having transmission issues. I did not purchase his warranty as every time in the past I have bought an aftermarket warranty I have gotten burned as they DO NOT COVER pre-existing conditions. When I contacted him and told him what was going on and asked him about where the car came from and why they would give up thousands of dollars profit on a car that would be VERY easy to sell within days he just said I dont know, people sell me cars all the time and I have no idea why they pass them along to me.I got stuck with a $4800 transmission repair and on top of that I think the front fender was damaged when he got it and he had it fixed at the cheapest place he could find. Paint and clearcoat looked and smelled fresh. It was a horrible job. No less than 15 pieces of dirt in the clearcoat and sand marks in the color coat. Also the roof and hood had bad water spotting which was waxed over to try to hide it and made it twice as hard to remove.Selling high end cars with issues and then trying to hide behind some cheesy aftermarket 90 day warranty that might or might not cover whats wrong isnt too cool in my opinion. Not telling anyone not to buy from Fairway but you better look the car over real well and drive it first or you might end up with the situation I did.

I bought a nice low mileage Honda Odyssey and have had no issues at all with it. It was like brand new when we purchased it even though it had 60k miles on it. Dale and his right hand man(so sorry I can’t remember his name), are the best. I have never been so lucky to bring my car to such an honest and smart team.I’ve had some serious electrical issues (and more) since having an IID in my car and have had to bring my ‘97 Subaru into them multiple times. I explain my issues, Dale gives me an idea of what it might be and what the starting price for that diagnoses/resolve would be and if at any time it ends up being more than what he quoted me, he ALWAYS will give me a call first to ask if it’s okay to continue. Wow!! Even my parents couldn’t tell similar experiences in their years of working with mechanics.Not only will he make sure that it’s okay to continue with a higher price than originally quoted, he also has given me alternatives on ways that aren’t the most expensive route. I’ll never forget when I could either spend $800 on ordering a Subaru electrical switch to make my rear lights work or him bypassing it for $360, but it was possible it might not work. I was so torn because I didn’t have the money, but obviously needed my rear lights to work. Dale said, and I quote, “if you were my daughter and I was working on this for you and needed you to be safe driving at night, I really would pick bypassing the switch.” I was so relieved that he was personable and genuine and I wasn’t going to be stressed about paying $800+This. We bought a truck a little over a year ago. We got what we thought was a good truck and deal. We went to trade it because of the problems we started to have with it. The new dealer told us our truck was a salvage title truck and had been in an accident and considered totaled at that time. How Fairway Auto went around telling us that when we specifically asked about any problems with the vehicle and accidents is plain dishonest. We spent a lot of hard earned money on the truck we bought from Fairway Auto. Buyer beware. Ask for car fax. We didnt and found out the hard way.

I purchased a 2005 S55 AMG on Nov 8th, I also bought his warranty. The engine seized 33 days later, I called to inquire about the warranty he sold me. The moment I mentioned the cars engine seized he became RUDE, told me to call the warranty company then hung up on me. Horrible, stay away. I wish I could put zero stars.

Dont bother giving them your business. I called about a car I was interested in. When I called they picked up and said Fairway Auto. No usual business greetings, no name of the representative nothing. I had to ask for his name (Tom). I am about 300 miles from this dealer so I didnt want to show up without having some questions answered. After being on the phone with Tom for 3 minutes he said okay and hung up. I have cash ready to buy, but I wouldnt purchase a car from Fairway for $1.

Bought a Mercedes from them and after a month it now sits in the garage needing 4300 worth of suspension work. I called and asked if there was any help because the warranty I bought with the car doesnt cover the suspension on the Mercedes and I was told You are a mechanic fix it I may be a mechanic but after buying the car I find it hard to put another 4300 into it with not even driving it 800 miles. Long story short dont let the good looks and what not fool you these guys are just another used car lot.

Have the car you are thinking about buying from Fairway Auto Sales of Phoenix Az. checked out by your own mechanic. Do not rely on there courtesy inspection check. Paying top dollar to them for a 2007 Beetle ($9+K) was a mistake. 1100 miles later with 4 engine oil leaks at a repair cost of $2300 dollars was very disappointing. Found it odd that all leaks appeared after just driving a little over 1000 miles. There GWC warranty did not cover any of the expense. :(
