We requested that your jewelers in Caste Village make earrings and necklaces for the 4 sisters. I cannot begin to describe the kindness I experienced today. I went to the store to have my deceased fathers military ID bracelet and dog tags looked at to see if they could be cleaned. They are from the Korean War and very tarnished. This gentleman went out of his way to make me comfortable and try to polish the items. They ended up shining as if they had been issued that day and my eyes welled up with tears. When I reached for my wallet, he refused payment. It was the most human thing that has happened to me in years and I said that I would go straight there if I hopefully need an engagement ring someday. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars, I would. Wonderful, wonderful place that I will not only return to, but that I will never forget. Thank you, sir, your grace has restored my faith in people.

It was important for me to purchase my now wifes engagement ring from the team at Urbanowicz. Urbanowicz has been a family jeweler to my wifes family. Her grandmother, mother, father, sister, my wife and now myself are all customers of Urbanowicz. From the very beginning they provided personal attention. Vanessa M. helped me select my wifes engagement ring, personalized my Best Mans gift, helped my wife select her Maid of Honors gift (a watch) and flower girls gift (a necklace) and worked on my wifes wedding gift project for months where we created a pendant made from her late grandmothers diamond. Bill helped with my wedding ring and my wifes wedding present (a watch) to me. David helped me with financing options. We practically bought all our wedding gifts and jewelry from Urbanowicz. I want to share a detailed review for why I would highly recommend using this jeweler for an engagement ring -1) Details and Specifications: Dave and I discussed what options I wanted in my diamond and setting. On our initial visit he showed me a few options that would be a good representation of what I might want, and then he brought in loose diamonds for me to look at. He chose the diamonds based on the qualities we discussed would be the best value, and from there I found one that was spot on. He also worked with the setting manufacturer So that I could get what I wanted that also worked with the diamond.2)Budget: We discussed pretty quickly what my budget would be and Dave was able to work on getting me what I wanted within the budget.3) Timing: I was impressed that I was able to get the custom made ring within our timeline. Over 3 visits to the store, we placed an order and I was able to get the ring in time for my plans.Overall, I received a high level of service, great communication, and never felt like I was being pressured into getting something I didn’t want. The ring turned out great and we are both happy with the results.

Diamonds were fake

Best costumer service I have ever received from a jewelers. They are willing to patiently work with you while you find the perfect engagement ring, even ordering in new rings for you to try on. I would highly recommend working with Vanessa, she truly understands how important it is that you get the right ring for you. She also has a keen eye for detail and is able to point out rings you would like that you may have overlooked. Great place!!!

I recently moved to PA and went to Urbanowicz to have my wedding ring repaired as it had suddenly ovaled. I did not purchase my ring there and unbeknownst to me, I had purchased a seriously inferior ring. When the goldsmith tried to repair my ring, it sustained severe damage as it was made so poorly. Urbanowicz called me to relay the bad news and after a bit of brainstorming, they were able to completely repair my wedding ring. They truly went above and beyond and couldnt have been more kind and helpful with the whole process. I will absolutely buy from them and refer them to others as their service alone is top notch!

I am 78 years old. decades ago I traveled with my parents a long way to what was to my knowledge the first really super market in the Pittsburgh area. Our little A&P was dwarfed by this market. We traveled from the western side near Coraopolis to the West End down 51 south. It seems like a major highway. Today this route is heavily traveled normally not a trip I would welcome until my experience with Urbanowicz Jewelers in Caste Village. I had been searching by phone and stoped in jewelry stores for several days for a specialty item that was important to me. It all added up to a waste of time until by chance I called Urbanowicz. The immediate voice on the phone certainly seemed sincere and helpful. In fact I was kind of shocked at the quality of that short dialogue that was representing as customer service that seems non-existent these days. I did not expect it to continue once I discussed the details of my search. However it got better and better as the sales person took the time to understand what I wanted and made helpful suggestions. Not only from within their store but also by connecting with their sources. I drove to the shop to further discuss size and design. Every mile was well worth the trip. This place must be the most quality shop in Pittsburgh. The quality of their Jewelery and range of classic and trendy items surprised me. I think they would meet the eye of an entire customer range. I found their pricing fair. I figured this was my lucky day, not only did I get the product I wanted but I must have lucked out to get the best sales person in the shop. WRONG,Typical of me, I listened to others interactions in the shop and intentionally interacted with others and they all were sincere and genuine in their attitude and service response.

My fiancé got my beautiful engagement ring here for an affordable price. I get lots of compliments on it! He had such a positive shopping experience that we decided to come back to buy our wedding bands.The staff was very helpful while we looked over their large selection. We appreciated the attention they showed us while we tried on different styles. Theyre not paid on commission, so they were very respectful of our budget. The whole process was quick and painless and within our budget. I would highly recommend coming here.

Ive gone here for years, brought in rings to be cleaned or sized and never made to feel awkward, always treated with respect. I havent ever made a purchase jewelry wise here and they never tried to sell me on anything or make me feel pressured or weird bringing in old heirlooms of mine or other purchases. I feel valued no matter what. Recently I brought a sterling silver antique locket in and the woman shined it up super pretty and didnt charge me a thing for cleaning.
