Monark runs a first class operation. The vast showroom has ample space to display the many premium brands they carry, allowing you to get an idea of how your fridge, etc will look in your home. Salespeople are professional and knowledgeable...ask for Cathy. She was instrumental in helping us select a completely new set of appliances. We never felt pressured, a pleasure to work with, and she even intervened with a manufacturer when the rebate process went awry. Had a great experience purchasing a fridge from Ed, who is a wonderful and knowledgeable salesperson. The Fisher & Paykel fridge was exactly what we wanted. He showed it to us as the showroom, gave us things to be mindful of, even made us a stellar cup of coffee from a built in espresso machine (which we were not shopping for but is now on the list!). Will always come here for appliance needs, and will always ask for Ed.
Nice selection. Mary Lee was very helpful with making sure we got the best deal on the items we chose. She called the next day to tell us the expected delivery dates. Some arriving sooner than expected, others later, but thats out if her control. Gold experience so far.

Absolutely the worst place ever to purchase appliances! I would not recommend anyone to stop by the store. Even the manager has poor attitude. I have ordered my appliances over 6 months ago and they sold to another customer. Whenever I tried to explore other options they would not work with us.

We ordered/purchased Kitchen Aid appliances (stove/oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher) for a complete condo renovation in August 2015. Our experience was first rate. I have bought multiple appliances from Jeff at Monark. I am completely satisfied with the quality of the merchandise, as well as how knowledgeable Jeff is on different brands. Just recently I had a new dishwasher delivered. Not only is the dishwasher amazing, but the delivery service Monark uses is excellent. I have recommended Jeff to many of my friends and he is definitely worth visiting. He follows up and is a great salesperson. He is a rare find in todays world. Terrible experience save yourself a headache and your money. Shop else where. They sold me a defective refrigerator, after over a month of running around and playing games the only solution they could come up with was to return my money. All my food was spoiled and my newborns milk supply thawed out and was all waisted. Ill never step foot in Monark again. Customer service was Terrible as well. After a dozen calls and voicemail I not once got a call back or follow up on my situation from sales men or management. Terrible experience I have them the opportunity to make things right and zero F* were given on their part.

We purchased $30k worth of appliances from this place. The customer service is terrible. The service after the sale is horrendous (non existent). Save yourself the pain and shop elsewhere. There isnt anyone navigating the ship at this place.
My wife and I have a condo and wanted to replace the old, noisy dishwasher and the range that took forever to pre-heat, with an electric cooktop that was difficult to adjust precisely. We checked sale prices at both Home Depot and Lowes, and were essentially ignored at Lowes.Then we went and talked with Bruce at Monark -- Wow!, what a difference. Bruce was knowledgeable, spent time understanding our needs, and we ended up with a GE Profile Induction range along with a GE dishwasher with a 46-decibel noise rating. The cost ended up being less than the big box stores. The delivery went smoothly with Monarks delivery technicians, and we are delighted so far with how both appliances work. The induction range is amazing - instant on, easy to adjust, oven heats up fast, etc., etc. We couldnt be happier with Monarks products and service, from showroom to delivery.
If you are remodeling your apartment or a house this place is a must to see! Most high end brands are on display. Browse and compare at your pace before making decision. You will be spending a lot of money on appliances, its prudent to know whats available out there. Contractors watch their profit points not yours!
Great inventory of appliances. Mostly high end. However, this store is the most inefficient and most backwards place to buy appliances. A million steps just to make a small purchase. No idea how this people are still in business. Mmm...customer experience anyone?
I completely renovated and remodeled my beachfront condo slightly over 2 years ago. I purchased all of my new appliances through Monark in Pompano Beach. Recently, an issue arose which they immediately addressed to my complete satisfaction. Based on my personal experience, I would highly recommend this company! They have an incomparable selection of major brand name appliances in a spacious showroom. Tim Brohawn, General Manager/Director and his professional advisors, managers, support personnel and delivery team treated me with dignity and respect. Most importantly, Monark proved that they were there for me two years AFTER the sale. Thats Big! In my opinion, you wont go wrong at Monark in Pompano Beach.
First words out of installers...YOU ARE LUCKY TO EVEN GET ME...To get a quote was like pulling teeth... the installers cut all my water lines and complained the whole time...when they left nothing was working and I had to get a plumber to come in and fix the mess...talked to a manager all she wanted to do was blame us and not solve the problems...young and with a strong attitude ...no customer service... the installers did not work well with my other subs and left a big mess in the kitchen which we had to clean up...$23,000 does not get you much anymore...
We ordered approximately $30,000 in appliances from them and 2 days before delivery we were told we wouldnt receive them for several weeks. We ordered our appliances in July to ensure they would be ready for install this month. We made an edit to the order which we were told was completed, but in fact they ordered the wrong appliance. Accordingly cabinetry was custom built to suit the appliance. 2 days prior to install I called Monark to confirm our delivery of November 8th in which I as informed I would not have appliances for several weeks through the holidays as we live with a demolished kitchen. We come to find out that due to a bankruptcy proceeding last year they have a court ordered halt to fulfilling orders. We are understanding people who know these things happen, but wouldnt a call be appropriate to let us know the situation? Instead for weeks they sent orders to other distributors, but not us.....no call...no email. Finally our order was sent to Fergusson to fulfill. Furgusson and our sales rep were amazing in helping and copied the order from Monark. We received the appliances and as they installed my wife noticed that the refrigerator/freezer was not what we ordered. Per company policy since it was delivered they will not accept it back. So here we are with an appliance that doesnt fit our custom paneling, Monark refusing to accept responsibility for the lack of communication and screw up on the order by ordering the wrong appliance, Fergusson refusing to take wrong item back and no refund from Monark which was supposed to be here 4 days ago. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MONARK!

I was in on Monday and was greeted nicely. The gentleman told me to look around and where the outlet center was. We looked and found a Bertazzoni range with no price. I then located Mary and she located a Bertazzoni refrigerator for us as well. She then directed me to the front desk and leave my name and number with Shelia and Mary would call me with the prices. I called and followed up with a voicemail for Mary and still bo call back. Sorry I recommend this place to a friend. This lack of customer service makes it difficult to sell appliances or anything for that matter.

Purchased an induction cooktop from Monarch appliances . We were told that the cooktop would be in in 10 days . The cooktop came in approximately one week which was great. My husband then received a call that our cooktop was in and we needed to pick it up. Two days later my husband received an email from Bruce stating that it’s not a storage facility and we needed to pick it up. This was upsetting considering we just received A call two days before to pick it up . After picking up the cooktop taking it out of the box there was a warning label on it stating that the cooktop has a cancer and reproductive harm. Not once did Bruce our salesman mention anything about that to us while purchasing the $2500 cooktop. Called Monarch and spoke to Bruce he said we were allowed to return it but they would not exchange it for a more safer model of an electric one because all of the cooktops electric or induction have those labels. All I wanted to do was exchange the induction one that’s hazardous to my health to get an electric one which I’ve always used electric and never had any issues . I realize all appliances put out EMF’s electric magnetic fields but why they didn’t let us exchange for electric is terrible customer service. Bruce then stated that’s what the manager told him to do . Definitely would not recommend this place. Customer service stinks, manager also never called to make the situation right

Customer service has always been poor however the company is now called Monarch appliances and frankly is dreadful. The guy on the front desk didnt so much speak but grunt a partial greeting when we entered. He was unhelpful in the extreme and they appear not to care about issues you have with appliances once they have sold them to you.We will never set foot in the store again and I advise others to go elsewhere.

I purchased appliances- dishwasher, range, fridge, microwave and hood vent from Monarch. All were KItchenAid- all are crap. I have had them serviced time a total of 8 times each before the 12 month manufacturers warranty expired. Now I am in my 14th month of ownership and the dishwasher died. The service tech said all new appliances are made cheap and break. If you get 5 years out of your fridge you are lucky! This is a $2500 fridge!! Now I know why Monach insisted I buy the 5 year extended warranty. I am very disappointed that the sales person did not disclose the poor quality of the products she sold us. I would never use Monach again.
