Ive never had the pleasure of purchasing an appliance here, but I just called to see if they might have a part I need for my washer. They didnt, but Laurie was EXTREMELY helpful and kind and pointed me in the right direction and gave me the phone number I needed for ordering parts directly from the manufacturer Ive also had many opportunities to interact with their service people through my job and they were always 100% professional and completed repairs quickly and accurately. They always communicated any delays or issues quickly

Do not recommend this store!! No customer service unless you need something repaired that you purchased there, they will tell you they will only come out to service something at your home only if you’re a customer of theirs. Obviously they don’t know the definition of “customer”, once you walk in their store you are a customer. They also overcharge, I bought two small halogen light bulbs in which they charged $30.00. Online the same bulbs from the same company $7.99 each. Do your research, there are other much better, customer friendly appliance stores, do not waste your time or your money at Portland Electric!!

Customer service was excellent as soon as we enter the store, also I have been a customer at Portland electric for over 10 years and never have had a bad experience. I have compare them to other and I will deftly go back every time. Their technician are good an honest not like other places, I used them for what I buy there and for the appliances that came with the house. Keep up the good work guys.

Great service, best place to purchase appliances, everyone friendly and willing to listen to your concerns. Gave me all my options and at no time try to get me to purchase a new appliances. This is a good place to go for honesty.

I walked in saying I needed a new dishwasher, they said the 15 year old washer they sold me should have more life in it, so they made a service visit and sure enough were able to fix it and it is running fine. The saved me hundreds of dollars through their excellent service. I have been and will be a loyal customer!

Great people. When we thought our 14 year old washer (originally purchased from them) was dead, they talked us into having them do a service call first to see if it could be fixed. Sure enough - 20 minute service call plus $22 part and the washer works fine. So they traded the sale of an expensive new washer for a simple service call. This demonstrates their commitment to good service and their customers. Never would have happened with a big chain.

I’ve been dealing with these people for 35 years, through three homes with different appliances. Their service is unbelievable. They know what the most reliable models are and stock them, then service them. For. Ever.

Customer service was fine, but shocked at the price of a small insignificant dryer thermal fuse. The actual cost to them was about $1.25. They charged me $16.00 for it. What an outrageous mark up!! Not likely to be a repeat customer.

I had a new double oven put in in December and portland electric did a fantastic job.. then 2 weeks ago i had a subzero fridge go on me.. i wasnt sure what to do because of the cost of a new sub zero and the space i had... i talked with mike and he came up with a plan for a different refrigerator to be installed.. they came and installed new refrigerator that fit.. they are definitely a high class company and recommend them for your kitchen appliances.. thank you to everyone at portland electric!!!!!
