Had these guys replace my windshield recently and am very happy with how quick they were able to get me in, even going through my insurance.

Found them just searching for auto glass repair near me. After going thru several shops that either couldnt do the type of repair I needed or started out quoting outrageous amounts I called their shop. Extremely friendly & helpful they were not only able to give me options over the phone, but also set up an appoitment same day for diagnostic. Turned out my issue was an easier fix than what was estimated. 100% would recommend them, even if you are unsure with the issue theyll be able to point you in the right direction.

Its the best auto glass service in the Portland area. I did windshield replacement with them and was completely satisfied by their quality and professionalism. Windshield replacement has been done in the best way: proper installation, no glue marks on the car, no scratches or marks on car polish. I definitely will recommend it to everyone.

I went to Collision Auto Glass at the recommendation of a local LandCruiser specialty shop. I had a new windshield and a new gasket that had been previously installed by another shop and came with a new leak. They were able to set an appointment quickly and reseal the windshield using the Field Service Manual recommended procedures. In under two hours, the windshield was resealed and ready for pickup. Ive since driven in heavy wind and rain and have had no leaks since their service. Thank you!

These guys rock! Quoted me 50 smackers to look at my window. Guess what? Its fixed for 50! No extra charges to fix it and best of all, no extra charges. Other places wanted 150+ just to look at it and Im sure there would be extra charges in top of it. I hope to never see this place again. If something happens to my car windows. My back window was smashed from an overnight park in downtown portland. Got me in next day and done in a few hours. Very kind and friendly people work here. They went above and beyond what I was expecting and will go back to them in the future. The price was also very good and worth it for the customer service.

The staff was friendly and the prices were better than other shops, but, they brought out the wrong windshield originally and had to reschedule my appointment for the following week.After they installed the correct windshield, I noticed the trim around my rear view mirror was not put together correctly. They came out one last time and said it was due to the dash camera. But it was not like this before. The side with the wire coming out is flush, it’s the other side with a gap.Also, about an hour after the windshield was put in, my airbag light came on. The dealership said their was a fault in the wiring for the front passenger pillar airbag. I paid for the repairs out of my pocket and was not reimbursed.Again, they are really nice guys, just not competent. Would not go here again.

Hgot a windshield ding on a windshield these folks installed in 2017. Drove up without an appointment. They looked at the ding and thought could fix it. In the time they specified (30 minutes) the repair was complete and looked great. So Im bringing another car with a cracked windshield later today.

My BMW is equipped with the heads up display tech package which makes replacing a windshield more labor intensive than one would assume. The camera system needs to be recalibrated and cant always be certified by a normal auto glass shop. Unfortunately Ive had to go through the replacement process twice. However, Collision Auto Glass has exceeded my expectations each time. Theyre a one stop shop. Replacing and certifying my windshield in a single day. On my most recent trip they even replaced the front panel of my panoramic sunroof. The level of quality and customer care will keep me coming back every time. Thank you to their team!

I initially called Collision at the recommendation of Kuni BMW. As a resident of Vancouver WA, I asked myself if I should find a shop on my side of the river. However, once I started working with Kai, he sold me. What an outstanding employee he is. Dropped off the vehicle yesterday morning, drove the loaner back to work, and by lunch was able to drive back over and pick the car up. Highly recommend Collision and working with Kai.

These guys are the best. Both individuals I spoke with took care of a broken window from a smash and grab quickly. They cover the counter and do the work. They replaced in about a half hour. I was amazed and on my way. 3 days later now and all is well. The price was more than fair. I had quotes that could not install it for 3-5 days. They did the the same afternoon when I was off work. The location is great at the crossroads of major highways off the sunset! Support the local guys and you cant go wrong here. Cheers!

I called them the evening I realized my window was broken and they gave me an 8am appt the next day. They are amazing! this is were I will be coming to if I ever need to again. It was quick (probably less than 30min) and the people are amazing! They gave me a quote over the phone and thats exactly what I payed for when the job was finished. So thankful I was able to get an appt that fast!

They were available next day and were cheaper than the other quotes I got. Showed up pretty much at the beginning of my window time frame which was really nice. The guy was really nice (and cute 😆) and he did a REALLY good job vacuuming up all my broken glass (it was everywhere!!). He was done quickly and my new window is spotless. Thank you!!

A technician arrived at my home the day after to replace the windshield. Scott (the technician) was very personable & professional. He clearly demonstrated his years of experience & knowledge during the actual replacement and how he answered every one of my questions. The whole process was really easy and fast from filing the insurance claim to dropping off my car, and then they were done in 2 hours flat including the calibration. They’re a preferred shop with several insurance companies.If you don’t have glass coverage on your insurance policy - add it now! It’s only a few dollars more a month and with the newer cars having lane assist, adaptive cruise control, collision prevention... the glass and calibration can be over $1000. When I got a crack in my window, Kuni BMW recommended Collision Auto. I called them and they were quick to contact me and walk me through the process. They handled all insurance issues and coordinated well with my dealership. They communicated very proactively with me and ensured that my experience with them was nothing less than perfect. I would not take my business anywhere else! I love that they are locally owned as well.

These guys were amazing. Emailed them late in the night after my driver side window was smashed, they emailed the next morning before they were even open to make sure they could get my window panel same day to install. They made sure to fit me in during the day, and installation time was under 1 hour in and out of store. Super appreciate their effort all while coming in ~$100 less then a competitor.

I had my windshield replace here today, they were nice and courteous. It took exactly 1hr and 50 min of the 2hr window they informed me about. Great experience. I called at the end of the day on Tuesday and they got me in on Thursday. They told me it would take 2 hours and they beat that by 10 minutes. The waiting room is really nice with a big TV, nice couches and WiFi. The install looks really great. The price was also $90 less than a large chain installer. It was a win at every step.

This was my second time using Collision and I wont go anywhere else. Both instances I had other work being done at a nearby shop and they were able to facilitate the windshield being replaced same day. On windshield #2, a miscommunication on my part instructed the work to be done at a different shop. Even with the delay, they were able to coordinate and complete all activities before my early pickup time.I love their customer focused mentality and truly appreciate the sincerity, enthusiasm, and expertise they bring to their work.

Had a rock chip about the size of a quarter. I went a little ways out of my neighborhood because I saw that they had better reviews online than the shops closer to me. I was not disappointed! They fixed it in no time. Super speedy, super friendly, next day appointment. Billed directly to insurance, no hassle. Looks absolutely great. Such a painless and pleasant experience.

Just went to Collision Auto Glass and got a chip repaired for free. It was free because they werent satisfied with the result. They made the cracks disappear but couldnt hide the chip. Free was totally unexpected. I give them 5 stars and will go back when I need a repair or windshield. Excellent service.

Collision Auto Glass replaced the windshield in my 2019 Tacoma after a rock chip crack spread to the A pillar. This shop has the equipment in house and is certified to recalibrate the pre-collision / lane departure camera system.An employee picked up the truck at my home in the morning and it was returned to me at noon the same day. I parked next to another brand new Tacoma later that day to compare fit and finish on the trim & seals. It was a perfect match.This is a great auto glass shop with outstanding customer service and great quality. Highly recommended.

I picked Collison auto glass based on the reviews, and boy let me tell you they have earned the great rating. I went in without an appointment for a rock chip on my windshield. They told me how they could fix it and the chances of something going wrong ( I mean it is glass after all). They had it fixed and ready to go with in a half an hour. GREAT customer service and they stand behind what they do. I would recommend them to everyone.

Collision Auto Glass replaced the passenger window of our 2000 Mazda Miata, which had been broken out by a parking lot prowler. Brad and Kai were helpful and professional throughout the process of getting the replacement window and putting it in -- and the price was better than others we were quoted. Nice experience to offset the bad experience of the original break-in.

Great service. They came out to my place of work and replaced the windshield on the spot. A few weeks later, when it started to rain, there seemed to be a leak. They offered to test it at the shop, so I made arrangements to drop it off. At first they thought it might be the sunroof but after more testing found it was the windshield. They promptly fixed it and no problems since. You might ask why Im happy even though there was an issue. Well, these things happen, and I find that no one is perfect. I was very happy with their honesty and great, friendly service. Thats the reason for the 5 stars. I will be back if the need arises.

When a rock cracked my windshield on my 2009 BMW, I was concerned about who Id use to replace it as Im very particular about my vehicles. It turns out that the BMW dealerships in the Portland area use Collision Auto Glass and coincidentally I did too on my other car about 18 months prior.I setup an appointment and they arrived right on time and quickly performed the work (both times). In about an hours time and the tech provided detailed answers to all of my questions and completed all the work.They made it super easy for me to recommend their work to anyone but especially BMW owners.

When every other company could only schedule a consultation for a week or two into the future, Collision Auto Glass was able to come inspect my home window and give me a quote the following day. Jason not only took measurements but answered all of my many questions.Two business days later the window was ready and Jason was back to install it. Installation was quick and went without a hitch.Overall I dont think there could be a better choice for replacing a residential window than Collision Auto Glass. Their customer service is excellent, the time from the first call to the installation was lightning-fast (3 business days!), the price was less than their competitors without me even asking for a discount, and they have a 10-year warranty on their work.

Great shop, very friendly and excellent service. Called at 11am asking about windshield replacement and they had me set for an appointment at 1pm the same day. Had a nice waiting area with free WiFi and Television, back in my car and on the road at 3pm. Price was also lower than expected, can’t beat that.

My wife’s Jetta was unfortunately broken into leaving the driver side window completely shattered. I reached out to Collision and they were able to get my wife and I all sorted out with a brand new window within a few hours and back on the road like it never happened all while being very reasonably priced. Definitely will be our go to for any further windshield or glass needs!

100% satisfied with my service! My windshield was cracked in half, so I had to have it replaced. My insurance originally set me up with an appointment at Safelite, who told me my car has signs of rust, and Id need to have my car repainted... then my car started leaking around the windshield because they didnt put the sealer back on correctly. I took it to Collision Auto Glass. They sanded off the rust, replaced my windshield, and I didnt have to have my car repainted. Quick, easy, all done in the same day.

They offer top quality glass and if your are on a budget, secondary market glass that is very good as well. We went with top of the line quality with tint. Thought service was Great -- right up until they delivered my vehicle back to me (big plus that they pick it up and return it - nice perk!). The guy started explaining why my windshield wiper was taped together. They broke it in the process of removing it to replace the windshield. They fixed the problem by taping it together and telling me to go get a new one and replace it before driving in the rain. Huh? Why is it my job to replace a wiper they broke during an install? It was working fine when they picked up the vehicle that morning. I called the manager, and asked him about it. Apparently he was told a different story by the installer. He then said they would pick up a new wiper blade and install it the same day. I didnt hear from them for a few hours while I was running errands in my husbands car. So I presumed they were not going to show up. I went to the Ford dealership parts counter and picked up new wiper blades. When I returned home, they apparently had come by and taken care of it -- but did not let me know. Seems like their service could use improvement. Given all the other reviews hoping it was just an off-day. Also hoping the windshield works well. Still, I like the pick up service and they seemed prompt and responsive with scheduling and all.

ORIGINAL POST: Collision was recommended to me by my local car dealer. I have a simple chipped windshield that has turned into a growing crack and needs to be replaced. I connected CAG with my insurance company a week ago. They said all is good and they would call me back to schedule the installation. A few days later and no call, so I called them. They said the paper work must have been lost and they would call me later that day. Now its been another 3 business days and no call. Im wondering how many times I need to hound them to get them to take my business? My experience certainly does not match that of others reviewers. Im ready to take my business elsewhere.
