The guys here are really fantastic. Both I and my sister had wonderful experiences with car repairs. I had gone elsewhere for a radiator replacement, only for it to have issues a year later. I brought it in, it was identified immediately and they replaced it in two days, for less than a third of the other location. My sister worked with them on a trouble car that had been broken down intermittently for over 4 years. They managed to find all sorts of problems in it and fixed them for what I would consider a very low price. It almost feels like stealing from them, to be honest.Outside of the service itself, the staff are all very friendly and willing to work with you. Theyd shown my sister the actual problems in the car, and told her some ways to know if it ever happened again. I cannot recommend these guys enough, they are truly wonderful in an industry where even mediocrity is above average.

By far the best shop I’ve been to! I haven’t been the best at keeping up with the maintenance on my car before finding this shop and Seth made sure to get it all done during my appointment! Got me in and out pretty quick and my car is running so much better! Great customer service from everyone I talked to and great work done to my car. It’s difficult to find a good mechanic you trust let alone when you are not in your hometown. Seth and his team took in my 15 year old Suburban even when they had a full shop. He was able to diagnose a not so minor problem with my differential that would have left me on the side of the highway with major issues. Previously I brought my car in to Perfection Tire for squeaky belts and bad lights. Perfection claimed they fixed it, when actually the situation got worse! I took my car to Meineke and they had my squeaky belts and lights fixed within a day and for a fraction of the cost of perfection tire. They were professional and honest about everything and they do quality work. I am definitely using Meineke in the future!

I had problems with my Dodge pick-up I was referred to this shop and I am very thankful for the referral. They took my truck right in I left it with them and the have me a lift home. They stayed in contact with me thought out the day. I they got my problem fixed which was a fuel pump. Very reasonable priced and a great warranty on their work and parts. I will take all of my vehicles to ten from o now on I cannot say enough about the owner and so of their employees. What a great experience.

I went in shortly before they closed on a Tuesday. My car was needing an oil change and I had a long round trip drive to Eugene, OR and back ahead of me. The owner was there and agreed to squeeze me in, even though it was nearly closing time and he was the only one available to do it. But the service didnt stop there. I mentioned that I was worried about my brakes and he offered to look at them for me. (As I had feared they were badly in need of being replaced.) He was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and said hed be willing to go ahead and replace them for me since I had the long trip ahead of me. I couldnt believe it! Despite it literally being a matter of minutes before they were scheduled to close for the evening, he was willing to do all of this for me! Ive never had that kind of amazing service from other companies!

After seeing several good reviews, and finding a $50 off coupon, my wife decided to bring her vehicle in after having some problems with her brakes. The mechanics seemed nice and knowledgeable, about two hours after dropping her car off we received a call- new rotors and front brakes with a $400 price tag. Ok, we could make that work. Another 6 hours later we received the call that the work was done and we went to pick up her car.$400 and 8 hours later, the car still shimmies when she brakes, and the brakes are still burning. The mechanic told us to bring it right back- except we have a life other than waiting another 4 hours on meineke. He also said something along the lines of “when we took your old rotors off I noticed ....” so why wasn’t that mentioned before the work was done?Another appointment set for Monday. Fingers crossed they don’t try to get some more money from us over information that could have been disclosed prior to $400 and a car that still isn’t operating safely.Ratings could change if Monday does perfectly- but I wouldn’t count on it.

Great mechanic! Diagnosed all the issues I was having with my Toyota truck and fixed the problems quickly. Easy to work with....I’m going back to get a couple of things done for preventative maintenance. Would highly recommend ...... 5 star for sure!

This is a full service shop and one of the few shops in town I would actually trust my vehicle at. I was an ASE certified mechanic for more than a decade and its hard to find a shop as good as this one. The owner, Seth, is a Master Mechanic, knows his stuff, and is a stand up guy... Hard to find in the industry.

I have been here twice since the new ownership went into effect for this shop. I will say that the change in ownership and service has been astounding!When repairs need to be made to our vehicles they are often unexpected and can be costly. Unfortunately this is not usually something we prepare for.I know that I can trust the mechanic at Meineke with my car to get the work done efficiently and done correctly the first time. The owner truly cares about helping his customers and keeping them safe on the roads. They also were able to offer me payment options to help with the cost.This new shop is by far the best in the area and I will continue to bring all of my cars here for years to come!

I am on the fence with this place. Its a real mixed bag. From my experience its a very mileage may vary place.Cons:Parts are very expensive, not competitive.They are rarely open at posted hours. For example they told me to come pick up my truck this morning. Their posted business hours are 8 a.m. today, but its 930 and no sign of them.They have expensive labor which is more or less fine except they seem to be professionals at running it up.If you are female, you will be disrespected. Plain and simple. Its still 1950 in Post Falls and a man will probably pay less and wait less.Pros: The mechanical work is superb, the owner is knowledgeable, and the parts are generally of excellent quality.

I took my car in at the appointed time and later in the day, received a phone call that my car was done. Every time I take my car to Meineke, I am provided with clear explanation of work done and informed of potential issues (car is a 2004 Chevy Aveo with over 151,000 miles). I appreciate their customer service and efforts to help keep my car running and remain mechanically safe.

I was very nervous taking my car into a shop, because I knew it was going to be expensive; as my car was dying while driving and at stops. I barley got my car to the shop. The new owner was very supportive because I was a wreck. Seth stayed in constant contact with me during the repair. I was expecting to be without a car for a while because I did not have an appointment. That was not the case at all, he ordered the sensors and I was on the road the next day. I was even more surprised at the cost. Best experience I have ever had with a mechanic shop!!

We stopped in due to a muffler problem. We found out the previous owner of our vehicle had basically used the bubble gum method to fix a problem. The new manager here at Meineke Car Care Center not only fixed the problem correctly and got us on our way fast, but had great customer rapport and professionalism. We will be bringing our other vehicles back to him for future work. Thanks again!

I got two new mastercraft tires installed on short notice. They gave me a good deal on the mount, balance, and labor. Seth, the owner, noticed that my dealer had failed to turn my rotors at my last break replacement.

Theres a new sheriff in town!I have never had a better and more satisfying outcome with car service. I would rank encounters I have had over the past 45 years as terrible, or met minimum requirements, or no complaint. I have raved about restaurants and some consumer products but I never thought I would rave about an auto service.As I learned while there, Seth bought this Meineke franchise on 9/1/18 and I was lucky my car broke down near Post Falls and was towed to this Meineke while traveling from Portland to Minneapolis.Sure, I had to pay for them to replace the flywheel. It was a necessary repair and not cheap, but I left with a job well done for a fair price.Their respectful treatment of customers is only surpassed by their competency. It took extra time to get part flown in and that allowed me time to hear interactions with other customers. These are the people to bring your car to if you want respect, honesty and a job well diagnosed and executed.

The owner is a rockstar! Theres always that uncomfortable feeling working with someone who is fixing your car. No issues whatsoever! Definitely went above and beyond and honestly was very reasonably priced! I will be back with my car issues!

I had to have several things done on my car, they kept me informed about what they were doing and took the time to explain to me what caused the problems. Seth even brought the part to the office to show me what he was talking about and he helped me greatly by giving me a discount. Called earlier today around 11:30 am 3-16-2019 for a quote to replace a CV axle the guy I spoke with said he would do some digging and get back to me in about an hour. Its now 4:40 pm and still no phone call. In my opinion if they cant even do a quote on something as simple as replacing a CV axle this place isnt even worth the one star that Im giving them. Dont waste your time bringing something here. Take your car to a more reputable place that can quote a job in reasonable amount of time.In this case judging by the amount of time it takes these guys to look up the information, you could have done the job yourself. I mean a quote is not that hard. CV axel 2000 Dodge Durango, 5.9 = $75 time it takes to replace according to a repair manual 1 hour. If labor is 100 dollars an hour the estimate would be $175-275 depending on if takes 1 hour or 2. See its not that hard. Maybe they will call with the quote tomorrow 🤔 oh wait their closed tomorrow. 👀👀👀

Like everyone else I have shopped around for deals, but I have always come back to Meineke in Post Falls, Idaho. Friendly customer service is a plus for me. I have always received great service for my cars. With the new owner it’s even better.

Tow dolly tire special ordered.Pre-paid for tire and mounting. Arrived when promised. Brought wheel/tire assembly in for mounting new tire. Watched technicians struggle a bit, due to tires small size. Technicians finished and gave me my wheel/tire assembly back. All good!Friendly and professional staff.

Two words.. Absolutely terrible! This was my second and last time at Meineke. First time took three hours for a basic oil change because they did not have the filter in stock and did not tell me until it was drained. Second time we reminded them to stock the oil filter when the appointment was setup, they did not. Second oil change took 3 hours as well to get the filter in, and another hour to call and let me know it was done. I requested both the tech and desk monkey to make sure my truck was left locked when they were finished. Thousands of dollars or tools in the back and I returned with the windows down and keys in the ignition in their parking lot. The desk monkey is a complete idiot. Complete lack of respect and mumbled social skills. Do not waste your time here.

I brought my car in today for an oil change before I move to Boise next weekend. The staff was very helpful and informative during the process and the service was quick. I will be back!

Went in cause the entire air system wasnt working on my SUV after replacing some parts and checking things out I couldnt get any air at all, so I brought it in and they had it fixed in mins and at no cost, to a struggling single mom, Thank you is an understatement!!

Went in to get my Uber and Lyft inspections. Both employees at the front desk were super nice and in no time at all I was in and out. Everything was tidy unlike a lot of other mechanic shops. Very impressed!

I went to meineke for a vehicle inspection. I arrived 30 minutes early for my scheduled appointment.The guy at the front desk claimed they were very busy, however, there were no other customers to be seen.The guy had his eyes and hand on his personal cell phone the entire time I was there and made no effort to impress me as a customer.I cancelled my appointment and walked out.I will not be returning.

I wish I had read the reviews here. I would never visit this location again for any reason. I had an appointment for 12 and planned to wait until it was ready. My car didnt enter the garage until after 2 PM. My car has not been the same since the visit. Trying to follow up with the location after my visit has been impossible. They will hang up on me, claim they will call back and never do. As well one of the parts they replaced on my vehicle was billed at $129, you can buy this part on Amazon for $56, or at Napa for $78. I cant understand how they think charging nearly double the cost of most locations is acceptable. I feel like they have no intention of repeat business, and get most of their customers from Meineke promotions and advertising. I would strongly suggest going ANYWHERE else for ANY work done on your vehicle.

I spent $2500 to have my power steering fixed with the previous owner the problem wasnt resolved and they werent willing to figure it out. I waited about a year and contacted the new owner and he spent a lot of time and gave discounts until my issue was fixed. Also it was a problem that was really hard to find and that other mechanics had overlooked. The new owner is excellent and I now highly recommend this location.

I called to see how much it would cost to have Meineke diagnose my car for a problem and they said it would be $94.20 an hour which seemed high. I repeated it to the representative just to make sure it was clear. Then he changed his mind I guess and stated that it depends what is wrong and stated that We just need to get it in here. I said The price is important because I am calling around so I just need a price and if it is $94.20 it is alright but, I am just needing to get an idea. He repeated that we just need to get it in there and see.I guess my issue is that I am not sure why you cannot just give someone a straight answer on the price rather than have someone bring it in and surprise them with a higher price than they can afford. On a good note, Les Schwab will inspect a car for free. So anybody thinking about going to Meikeke should probably call around because there are better deals.I also called Perfection Tires for the same issue and they stated it will be free or 39.99 if it looks like it will be complicated but, that they would have an idea about that prior to charging any fee.

I took my car in for an oil change and ended up paying for a $400 repair that I didn’t need. They rarely answer the phone or return calls and twice I had to run around the counter to fish someone out of the back room. I left my car there (had an appointment) so they could try to figure out why my service light didn’t go off after they “fixed” it, they never even looked at it so I had to leave overnight . When they did finally get around to it, they decided that I needed ANOTHER $400 part because the new part that they installed wasn’t meshing with my old parts.... really? No thanks. I felt like they wasted my time and my money. I won’t go back and I would not recommend them.

The hours on Google and their website say they open at eight on Saturday. I was there until eight ten and there was no sign of life.

Brought my Subaru here to fix AC. Didnt find leak, charged AC system, and one month later AC wasnt working. Cost me almost $400 for basically nothing. Ten months later, took car to another mechanic, who diagnosed AC correctly.

Had car problems while on the road from out of town. He did a full diagnostic and got us back on the road very quickly.

I went in for Uber inspection and they failed me telling I needed new calibers, and wanted to buy new ones, not realizing I just got brand new ones, so when I told them that they still said I needed them. So I took it to the place I got them done at, and they couldnt find anything work. So I called back and asked Seth about what he said and he basically told that they where lying, so I took it to a different place and passed my inspection, beware they will scam you

I went in today to get my car inspected for Lyft and Uber. Having a friend who just had theirs done in spokane for a total of $21 for both inspections, I thought I would stay local and run to Meineke here in Post Falls.Lyft recommended Meineke... I do not. While they were ok to deal with, they got me in and out in less than 30 minutes for a walk in... They charged me for each inspection. The inspection is literally the same components. I asked if they were going to combined the inspections and they said no, because they were ran up on two different tickets (receipts attached).To top it all off, they tried to upsale me new tires and brakes... These were inspected from Findley during my last oil change 5 days ago, and passed with an 7/32 tire rating and an 11mm on my breaks (see attached receipt).Shame Shame Meineke. Very disappointing.
