Bought 3 phones through a Verizon and transferred our service from another carrier, all through a reseller whos name rhymes with Rest Rye.Rest Rye completely screwed things up and its taken multiple trips to the store, lots of calls and hours spent on hold with still no fix, leading to service interruptions.Finally today we went into the Poway Verizon store and Maria was so patient, pleasant and helpful and she was able to take control and get everything straightened out.Verizon and Rest Rye could use more people like Maria; I really, really appreciate her help.

There was a bit of a wait, but the only employee there was helpful and took care of our issue in moments, rather than the actual Verizon store, which kicked us out because they were about to close and didnt want to enter us into the queue.

I was in this location today and Maria was extremely profesional and patient enough to deal with a problem that I was dealing with Verizon customer service since December 26, It was a frustrating situation and she fixed, her development was outstanding . I really recommend this location in particular Maria, for now on I will go there even if it’s not close from my house, the drive is worth it . Thank you Maria

Recently replaced my phone through this store, bought a Galaxy A50. Transferring data from my old phone went fine, and I enabled the auto-backup feature so I wouldnt lose any new data that I would be getting on my new phone. Within two weeks of purchase the touchscreen stopped responding entirely, and rather than wait a day without being able to use my phone to let it drain and restart, I opted to try to hard restart it, which ended up resetting the phone. Okay, fine, I opted into the auto-backup so this backup from four hours ago should be good right?Apparently not. The phone downloaded the apps that I previously had on the phone but saved no media information whatsoever. That backup is now inaccessible apparently. I drove to this store to ask the employees if they had any way to access that backup or revert to it, and they kind of giggled and started telling me how to transfer data from my old phone. I had to repeat about 5 times that the information they were giving me wasnt going to solve my problem, as my old phone does not have the data I am looking for. In the end, I left even more frustrated with their lack of cooperation and nonchalant attitude, and I now write this review hoping that the gentleman I spoke to today is NOT a position of authority, as he was obstinate and did not seem to care a whit about my issue. If this issue is not addressed professionally I absolutely am switching services.
(EDIT: After all the following happened, a representative contacted me and made sure that I not only received the case I wanted, free of charged, but that I also received a free case and screen protector. He made sure that the free case and screen protector were waiting at a store near me. I went in and got the case and protector within minutes, and was very happy with how he handled the situation.... I love Verizon Wireless, and their ability to keep their customers happy. )I traded in my old phone and purchased a new S7 from this store, about 5 to 6 months ago. I purchased a protective case at the time of purchase, for the phone. The protective case was not in stock and was having to be ordered and mailed to my address. This process went rather smooth, and was a pleasure to handle. However, when the case arrived, it was the wrong case. I returned the case to the store, and spoke with the gentleman that helped me with my purchase, originally. I gave them the case back, and asked for the replacement. They told me that they would get it returned and would have a new case sent out to me. I returned a few weeks later, having not received the phone case, and asked why it had not come. The one that helped me the first two times was not there, and I spoke with another rep and the manager. They found out that the case I returned had never gotten scanned and returned in the system and was just sitting in the back room for the three+ weeks. They told me that they would get on it right away and that I would have a case sent out to me within the week, and that they would call me when the order for the case was completed. Today, 5-6 weeks after that visit, I am still without a case, and had to call them again. They promised me that this time they would have a case to my house within a couple of days. The level of customer service here seemed great in person, but turned out to be dismal. They have a smile and thats about it.
My neighbor actually told me about this Verizon and I was surprised with how amazing the girls that work here. They are extremely knowledgeable and are very efficient. I love this Verizon. Desirae and Jill make a killer team. Good job. Thank you girls

Great service from Quinn and Christopher for new phones for my wife and I. They are very knowledgable and helpful, especially if youre not a tech geek! Fully enjoyed doing business with them and will now make this store our favorite Verizon store. Weve been to several other Verizon stores with very confusing results that had us wondering what just happened! This Poway store has given us the best service by far. They actually seemed excited to help us! Thanks, guys!
Just dont go to this store to activate your phone! They will tell you that they are just a retail store and you will have to pay $20 just to set it up. The representative would not even ask you what you have tried and how they could help. No intent to help AT ALL. They will use your phone to dial the customer service line and ask you to just keep holding forever. Then they will tell you they dont know how long you will have to wait to get a real person to talk to you on the line. To me, it is very bad customer service. They dont care at all about how long you have tried and how bad you would need their help. $20 just to set up the phone? This is unbelievable. Not sure if this is a real Verizon Store or just something else. I will not use Verizon any more. So disappointed. I will ask my husband to change to T-mibile too.

His knowledge of the various phones that are currently being offered was very helpful. He was patient, respectful, and easy to talk to. Honestly, I usually go to a corporate store for assistance. The Verizon I usually go to, said that they could not put on a screen protector for me. I am so bad at it, it always leaves bubbles. Ugh! A few days ago, I called this location and spoke to Selso. He was super sweet and friendly and very professional. He advised me that they would not only be able to put on the screen protector for me, but they’d do it free of charge. I was ecstatic!!! I decided to go the next day and was told to speak with Jack. He was very polite and professional and assisted me in a matter of minutes. The screen protector looks amazing and I’m super happy! Thank you Verizon! Selso and Jack, you both ROCK!!
Very courteous and friendly staff but painfully slow. Carve out at least an hour if you need to shop here. Added a phone and got a free Gizmo watch which was nice but I upgraded to a larger data plan and they dropped the ball and did not handle it as promised so I got charged overages by mistake. Was also supposed to have all activation fees waived and was charged those as well. Have had to make multiple calls to Verizon to clean up their mistakes. Extremely disappointing experience.

Had a great experience in this branch. I came in furiated from a technical problem that I spent 5 hours on the phone with Verizons tech support trying to fix, then come in to this branch and Christopher and Johnny fixed my issues and concerns in 10 minutes. Had been having trouble getting my iPhone to connect for charging. Followed what I could find to troubleshoot on the web, but no luck. Went into the store expecting I might need a new phone. Not so. Jonny took a look at the charging slot on the phone and said lint. I had also looked, but missed what he was seeing. He proceeded to dig out a bunch of lint that was clogging the bottom of the charger slot.Both guys working in the store were very helpful. Problem solved. Thanks guys!

This is not a Verizon store, it is a Go Wireless Store, so it has different policies that Verizon. Beware, when buying from this place because their customer service in terrible. Thankfully, I was able to call Verizon customer service and they helped me instead of this place that was not helpful at all.

Will never buy directly from a phone company again. These guys sold me a phone because they got a good commission on it, not because it was the best phone for me. I found this out later and ended up getting stuck with a phone that was terrible for my situation. tried to return it, but the manager wouldnt let me because I was one day past my 30 day return policy.

Took advantage of my elderly mother. She went in to pay her bill & was asked to upgrade her flip phone to a smart phone. They ended up selling her a cheap 8gb Galaxy & charging her $60+ a month for 1gb of data! It was not under contract. Also charging her for a lot of money for a wall charger that she didnt need since the phone had one. The paperwork she had clearly states no termanition fee! They charging $250 to return phone since she was added to my AT&T. Note she had the phone a day. None of her paperwork said anything about a $250 fee. Verizon associates produced paper that they claimed she signed stating this & it wast even her signature! Very unethical business!! Avoid at all costs!
