Exactly what I was looking for. My 1993 BMW needed some TLC and I was pleasantly surprised when I got it here. Rich the owner, is personable and let us talk about my car. I like the fact he took our input and wasnt offended by anything we may have said to challenge his experience. The very reason I wanted to take my car here was 40 years of experience. Im very happy with this place. Their sweet little coffee bar isnt bad either.

Amazing folks. Biels really goes above and beyond. Theyre the only folks we truly trust with our vintage Volkswagens. Most recently, our 1972 Bus needed a lot of love but no one on our side of the mountain wanted anything to do with it. We had it towed to Biels-- they happily took on the project and got the van running and driving great, better than we ever remember it behaving. They also fixed our brake lights, oil and exhaust leaks and some other long-term problems that had kept us from ever going too far out of town with it, and discussed with us things it will need in the future.Everyone on the team is so friendly, knowledgeable, communicative, clear, fair...and fun folks. Fun to talk with and very kind. Rich even came to the shop to meet us on a Sunday so we could pick it up on our day off. They do quality work and have serious experience which makes everything, even complex, nerve-wracking issues, seem easy.For us, its definitely worth the inconvenient 35 mile drive over the mountain to take our machines to Biels. We have been customers for decades. Biels is The Best.

2008 Audi A3 Electronic power steering went out. My whole life Ive been a shade tree mechanic in regards to my vehicles. Id much rather just struggle with hard jobs but know that it would be done correctly in the end. The steering rack wasnt necessarily a job that I was equipped to do. Not only because it is an extremely difficult job but I wasnt equipped to get the job done. Ive always heard good things about Biels and love the fact that they specialize and have a passion for German cars. So, I took the plunge and brought it in. Not only was I met with concern and professionalism, but their prices are extremely competitive. Needless to say, they got the job done correctly, timely and at an unbeatable price. Rich and Marcy are literally the coolest and nicest people. I could tell that they knew that I was hesitant and anxious but they really help put my mind at ease. I highly recommend Biels to anyone and everyone, especially if you are a vw/Audi enthusiast.

My car broke down outside of Prescott on a road trip through Arizona. My friend and I had never been to Prescott before and had no idea where to take my Saab story. After a google search we stumbled upon Biel Foreign and Domestic and happened to give them a ring. Upon answer I was greeted by a friendly and caring voice which made me feel comforted and welcome. (Anyone who has had a car break down more than a few hundred miles away from home can understand the importance of that initial interaction in such a stressful situation.) When we arrived, we were greeted with the same kindness and made to feel at home. The mechanics at Biel took a look at the car right away and after the initial inspection, kindly explained that my engine had reached the end of its life. As you can imagine, the stressful situation had just become exponentially stressful. The great people at Biel were very understanding and allowed us to leave my broken down car at their shop for a few days while we figured out the logistics of getting rid of my car and finding a way home. They even offered us a ride from their shop to downtown or to the place we were staying; all for nothing in return.After a couple days of problem solving, we were getting ready to head home. I called to ask whether they had received the title I had my parents expedite to me so that I could get the car taken away by the local U-Pick-It. Once again, I was greeted by a friendly caring voice, who told me that they had received the title and had already called up the local U-Pick-It to get the car taken care of. Another weight was lifted off my shoulders by the amazing people of Biel! These legends even told me that they would send me the check for the amount of the salvage. I have never felt so well taken care of by an auto shop - it is no wonder these people have been in business for over 30 years.In short, if you are looking for an honest and caring repair shop, look no further than Biel Foreign & Domestic Repairs!

Honesty and integrity two words to describe Biel foreign and domestic repair service. I took my 2010 Toyota Yaris in for a brake job thinking that I needed brakes on all four wheels. The car has 178,000 miles on it. When I got a call from the shop they told me I did not need brakes. They cleaned it up adjusted the brakes and said that was all I needed. I was shocked! What incredible honesty. They have a customer for life.

Biels is an excellent and trustworthy auto shop! Ive had my power steering rebuilt, clutch rebuilt, new struts/shocks and springs installed, among other things and have been VERY pleased each time with the results! Marcy and Rich are very knowledgeable and are great to work with! Please give them a try and you wont be disappointed.

Finally an auto mechanic I can trust and is priced right. I put off having my repair done for months because of concern that I would be taken to the cleaners. Finally a friend referred me to Biels and Rich and his crew took great care of me. The repair and my routine maintenance service was done all the same day, Marti even picked up my vehicle and brought it back to me (WOW! Service) and it was all done at a very reasonable price.

I moved here last month. I have a Ford Escape with an exhaust leak. I didnt want to take it to the dealer but had no idea where to go. I saw the reviews for Biel and give it a try. I called Monday morning for an appointment and they said bring it in and they would take a look. By Monday afternoon I had a very reasonable quote and an explanation of the problem. By 11:00 Tuesday morning I got a call saying it was finished. I didnt have a ride and they actually delivered the car to my house. Such amazing service! Now the car runs perfectly! I will definitely be using them in the future!!

If i could give them no stars i would! The owner is EXTREMELY rude! They charge for things not asked for and the take it upon themselves to do whatever they want to your car. When asked about why we were charged for what we were charged the owner refused to listen and called himself a hero for charging $144.97 for a $19.00 part. If youre thinking of going here DONT! i have never been treated so badly by anyone in my entire life! We have reported them to BBB thats how horrible this place was! I will tell everyone i can about how horrible this place is!

My car developed an erratic clunk which worsened over a few weeks.Went for a test drive with Jeff of Biel (drove me home). He heard the noise!Called a couple of hours later: not only fixed the obscure (non-serious) noise but his detailed inspection also found a couple of brake issues needing follow-up.They kindly picked me up from home to go back to the office; Jeff took time to explain and point out things in detail.In this technical age, one builds trust with those knowledgeable providers who obviously respect the customer.Of course, Ive made an appointment for the follow-up work!

Ive been taking my cars to Biels for over 20 years (landcruiser, Camry and now Outback). I have always received great service plus a lot of above and beyond help: free rides home, loaner cars if the repair will take more than a few hours, changing a flat or replacing burned out bulbs at no charge, etc.I have always felt that the prices Rich charges are very reasonable, and unlike my experiences with other local repair shops or dealerships, I never felt like I was being upsold on something.No hesitation on giving Biels my highest recommendatiion!!!

Biel is the place I go in Prescott. Everytime I have had an issue with my car, they tell me the truth with what is wrong with my car. If something else was wrong, they would call and tell me the truth about it and ask if I wanted the work done. They treat me like family. I would recommend them to everyone who needs work done on their car.
