I bought my desktop PC here 7 years ago. Its performance was so reliable that when it came time to upgrade it, I took it back to Prescott Computers in spite of living more than 200 miles away now! They updated the operating system, installed a new video card, increased the RAM and storage, and returned it with all of my existing programs functioning perfectly. This was the most painless update I have ever had for any computer. If youre concerned about reliability and security, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

I called to see about getting a replacement charger for my laptop and the service was great. They helped me figure out why my computer was not charging and even went above and beyond to provide me with one to help get me through my school semester. Will be returning for a repair when I have the time to spare without my computer. highly recommend, they know what theyre talking about!

I usually don’t leave reviews of any sort but this guy is a piece of work. I called to get a laptop service set up and I couldn’t even finish a sentence while trying to explain what was happening with the computer. He continued to cut me off every time I tried to say something. Look elsewhere if you like good customer service.

This is only for the main older employee of the store, you were very disrespectful and rude, I was simply trying to get some answers to figure out which direction to go.. but instead you gave me attitude and judged me and continuously kept saying I was wrong for a better lack of words. I dont know if it was because the young lady was at the counter, or if youre having a bad day. But when I called back and you heard it was my voice I heard you Mumble under your breath complaining that it was me calling back more or less is what the Mumble was. Even after you were disrespectful to me in the store I still came back inside and paid you for a 5 second service. But when I called you were even more disrespectful than you were in the store. Both times you talked to me you spoke to me as if I were the grime of the earth and had the brains to match. I will never step foot in your store again.

Terrible customer service over the phone. Tech was rude and arrogant. Kept interrupting and wouldnt listen to my problem. Told me that when I brought the computer in, that I shouldnt be surprised if they found lots of problems that needed to be corrected! Baloney! Go anywhere else!

Went in for 10GB data recovery from a dead hard drive. Price was best in town (Normally this amount of manual data retrieval is 10x the cost i paid), service was fantastic. He even gave us a replacement solid-state hard drive for about 1/2 the normal cost. He seriously impressed me! This guy has some very strong/unconventional opinions, but overall the most honest, cost-effective computer repair ive ever had. I strongly recommend this business.

VERY RUDE tried to make anyone calling sound like they didnt know what they were doing. would prefer you to go to the big box stores, so from now on i will, and will tell others to as well.in the past he had tried to rip off my boss for an antivirus removal saying they needed a whole new computer ( i was gone at the time) i fixed it in a couple of hours using my normal AV programs.reply: lol i posted this right after getting off the phone with you. vga cable ring a bell? trying to sound so smart when i have been building computers since the late 80s, i just needed a cable.My boss you tried to rip off never came in either, someone else called your tech in, and his diagnosis was a new hard drive, windows reinstall for the cost of almost a new pc.as to identifying myself, this is my profile. and the only nasty person in this story is you.

My laptop was having trouble charging. I knew that the trouble was either the charger or charging port. If it was the charging port I wasnt going to open my computer and attempt the fix myself. I went to Prescott Computer because it was near my house and I like to support local businesses. As soon as I get there this guy greets me with Let me guess! It wont turn on!. He then proceeds to inspect my laptop and hmmm and haaaa over it saying things like, Oh, these usually need a new hard drive or This looks like it has been treated roughly. I tell him that everything is fine except for the charging issue, and then he wants me to sign a piece of paper and leave my laptop there. Well, Im not leaving my laptop if the trouble is with the charger. I ask him if he has a charger there that works on this laptop and he says Yes. So then Im thinking, Okay, so now is when you plug in a working charger to see if its an issue with the port, and then if its a port issue I leave my laptop for repair. So Im waiting for a straight answer, but thats not how this guy works. Im really glad I got out of there with my laptop and my money. He reminds me of one of those mechanics who goes looking for a problem that doesnt exist and ends up causing more problems. I went to Geek Squad and the girl at the counter plugged in a working charger and solved my problem. I now believe the other bad reviews Ive read.

Why provide an email address if you never respond to it? Also, how does he expect to serve to fulltime professionals? He opens after I go to work and closes before I go home. Isnt open at all on weekends.
