This company is amazing! Personable, professional, and extremely knowledgeable! After several run around with other companies my technician Nick what is a breath of fresh air! My Internet is now super fast….. being in a more rural area it was super important for me! Highly recommend this company!!!
Slowest Internet I have ever seen in my life it can barely run netflis Ellie Redd Netflix in Amazon prime on my TV yeah it is fairly expensive also
We definitely don’t receive the internet speed that we pay for monthly. It drops frequently and at least once a week we lose Internet completely for about an hour or so even when they tell us a tower is few miles away. Their techs are awesome but the quality of the product just isn’t there, not for the prices they want.
You usually get complaints, but I want to thank you for your service. I called your service department a couple weeks ago about slow speeds, they did an overnight check and found problems. A representative came out and saw I had the wrong dish, he replaced it and since then everything has been excellent. My speed test .net has reported a 9.3 down and 1.88 up ever since, I check several times a day and it is always the same. So, thank you for the excellent service.
Bolt Internet is the most reliable internet service I have used in the Cottonwood area. They actually notify you if they are planning to upgrade the system unlike other internet providers I have dealt with. In 2 years I only experienced my internet being down once. Other services I used would have outages on a monthly basis and would blame my router for issues o their end. I have a router that was brand new and $100+. Bolt provided me with new equipment and not old equipment like other services. I highly recommend Bolt if it is available at your location.
Service can be marginal. They sure take the money though. I have complained and complained
Weve been with Bolt for 7 years. Weve only needed a tech for service twice. This last snowstorm did something to our dish. Nick, one of the techs, was sent to help us. Not only was he professional, kind, and personable, he made an impression on my husband. Great service! Not only do I use their internet service to work from home (1 Zoom meeting), but my kids are on it doing distance learning (2 zoom meetings), and a TV streaming Netflix at the same time. Were in dewey and have had great service and upgraded when we needed more bandwidth with everyone at home. 100%recommend Bolt.
Great Taco Tuesdays! 🌮 👍
I’ve had Bolt for about a year now. I live in Dewey and the choices were limited in the area that I’m located. Initial install was pretty straightforward and painless. All went well for the first part of the time. Then I had my roof replaced and the installers messed up the antenna mount (unknown to me). Eventually the wind blew it over and the antenna unit got filled with water and died. No internet! 😩 Called them on a Monday, explained the problem and that I needed a service call ASAP as I was interviewing for a new job and needed the Internet. While they initially said they were booked solid for a week, they rep said they would see what they could do for me. After a few back and forth calls, they were able to get a tech out that afternoon. Not only did he replace the antenna, he also upgraded it to a newer/better model and even replaced a questionable Ethernet connection inside the house. He tested the system, ensured it was meeting the speed I was paying for (10/2) and made sure I was happy. While it certainly isn’t the cheapest provider and they can’t please everyone, I’m very happy with my experience so far. Two thumbs up for their service department! 👍👍
After Over two years of paying $125 a month, we still don’t get the speeds that we’re paying for. When I call and ask for help I’m told by the owner to look up a YouTube video on how to fix the problem. Anyone else want to take my money and provide good Internet service? Looking for a good Internet service provider in the groom creek area...
Unfortunately I cannot get cable or DSL where I live so I signed up for Bolt. While the speed for your money isnt as good as with a wired provider I have been surprised at how reliable it is.
Pricey but good
Ive been paying $125 a month for over two years now...I need help and Im told by the owner - Robert - that he has no idea how to operate my new Linksys router and he cannot help. Blaming the poor connection on the 5ghz connection. Anyone else want my money? Id be happy to switch providers....
Was two stars, now its one. Not reliable. Especially on the weekends when they are not available to fix problems. For four months this service has been unreliable on every weekend. Ive called several times, emailed several times and I am always met with contempt and my problem never fully resolved.
They cant seem to keep up the internet speeds that they charge you for. And there service goes completely out at least once a week and they said I probably needed to unplug there equipment for 30 seconds. I was doing this at least once every single week. Check other providers because YOU WILL REGRET THERE SERVICE LIKE I SURE DID.
I have had Bolt internet for 4 years now after a horrific experience with Hughes Net. I do not have the problems that others seem to have with blackouts or times when I cannot use my internet. There are only certain speeds available in my area, I wish they were faster, but I will take the exceptional service and reliability over a somewhat increased speed.
Ive had bolt for about 6 months, I live out in Dewey, I always have connection and use the 10mb plan with never having issues.
I have been with Bolt Internet for more then 2 years they dont work with anyone bill wise I called to get like a day extension and they said no they dont do that and they are charging me 83.00a month for 5mb down when there compatition can give me 25mb down they even lowered there plans last week and they still want me to pay 83.00 for next month they are riping people off shop around people better deals out there then them
This company claims competitive rates, trouble is those rates come with a system that is 3/4 slower then their competitors. So is it really competitive at that point. Dont waste your money on a service that is over priced and SLOW! $125 a month for 25mbps when for $98 a month you can get 100mbps from a more dependable supplier. What a SCAM!
Ive been using Bolt Internet for my business for several years now. Whenever Ive had a problem theyve been able to fix it promptly. They are a locally employee owned company so all employees want to help in any way possible when there is an issue. The Internet service has been very good for our office, which has six PCs connected to the Internet.
This is the worst internet provider you could go with. The internet it slow and can barley support one device at our home. Go with a different provider!!!!
I have been a Bolt customer for about 2 years. I pay $53 bucks a month which is not that bad. The connection and speed is great. I mainly use it for my home computer, phones and Netflix. The one and only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because they have a lot of black outs or lost connection problems randomly. It normally happens at night time right when my family and I are in the middle of a movie on Netflix 😏🤔 and it happens at least once a week or sometimes more. Kind of sucks even though they do make the attempt to send a email about the outage. I would still recommend Bolt Internet! 👍
I have to say - They may be friendly on the phone - but - the consistent outages and unreliable speed - make this a horrible choice for Internet Service. I would hardly call Bolt a service of any kind - Very small time operation run out of a hole in the wall in Prescott, AZ - Run away as fast as you can - believe me - no matter how slow you run - it will be faster than the so-called service they offer - which in reality, is non-existent - You will however get a lot of promises but you will get very little Internet - so there! Make a decision.
Honest people selling good service. Im happy to recommend Bolt Internet to anyone looking for service in the Prescott area.
Slow internet with constant outages that will put you with out internet for days sometimes weeks, Doug at technical support lacks professionalism and refused to give me the name of a manager when asked after dealing with his rude phone manners and hung up the phone UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!
Internet has cut out the last 5 days in a row and constantly does so almost every other day if not every day. Today it cut out 3 times. It has taken 4 hours to download a 12 gig update for my Xbox game while no one else was using the internet. Gaming speeds are horrible. I’ve lost photoshop projects twice because the internet cut out. Seriously a sad excuse for an internet “provider”
Nice folks . Great service ! Fast for me and I have cox cable @ my business, I am very happy with Bolts internet and there computer repair . If my business was in Prescott I would absolutely have Bolt there too . I have had there service for several years .
Run fast from Bolt Internet!! Whatever your running speed, it will top Bolts so-called speed. Their upload speeds at random times through a day range from a dismal low 0.44 mbps to a WHOPPING high of 1 mbps! And Bolt has the audacity to call itself a service AND to charge for that crap?!?!Bolt speed: 1 mbps.Average Arizona ISP speed: 34.43.You do the math. Also: TERRIBLY inconsistent service. Outages. And need tech support?! Good luck. They feed ya BS and try to convince you that everythings hunky-dory.AND tech help is available only during biz hours M-F! So if your service goes out at night or a weekend, have fun staring at a blank no-Net screen. Then flee from this abysmal Internet Service Provider. In Prescott area, youll get WAAAAY better service with Cable One.One star is too generous for Bolt Internet. Ive dealt with a lot of ISPs in my time and they are so crappy, they should be ashamed to call themselves a service provider.Cable Ones your best bet. Reliable, strong, good download times and oh yeah, TECH SUPPORT 24-hours a day.
Not exactly high speed.
