Very friendly and helpful staff! I had my eye brows cleaned up and penciled in darker. After being there the end of September, I made an appointment as recommend for 5 weeks later. Did make another appointment for December. I do recommend Ulta not only for eye brows, they have great prices on makeup and staff that will help you find the right shade and product brand that you are looking for. Since they have a consultant, it takes the wonder of which product would work best for you.

I went into Ulta today and was so impressed by the customer service. I received help from Kevin who helped me find the best makeup items for my acne prone skin. He was so kind and knowledgeable about the products which helped me make an informed decision before making a purchase. I am not the best with makeup so I really appreciated him taking the  the time to make sure I got the best color match and products for my skin type. I rarely ever leave reviews for anything, but Kevins amazing customer service definitely deserves recognition.

Staff is welcoming and ready to help if needed. Theres a hair salon in back. Went in to get my birthday gift and use my gift card.

Wish they had bigger selection of false nails. Target had more. But lived the super sale on the James Charles palette!

The workers here clearly need some customer service training. I asked my mom to pick up some stuff I ordered for pick up. My mom was listed as the alternate pick up person and when she got there the curbside pick up spots were taken, so she followed the directions on the email that say if the spots are both taken park up front in a space as close as you can. Well apparently a worker came out with some serious attitude and said “yeah you need to park where I can see you” she wasn’t parked far from the front door at all and I had one thing that wasn’t heavy it’s not like she was lifting a large box and had to walk across the parking lot. I work in customer service I get it people have bad days. Don’t bring it to work, and don’t take it out on customers who are literally doing what the directions say.

Returned a flat iron and used some of the money to purchase a few other things but the entire transaction was pretty frustrating. I guess I dont see what is so difficult. But the way things went tonight i guess it is thats why it took 3 employees to handle my one transaction 🤔🤯Ill probably not go to that ulta again 😒 didnt care too much for their attitudes on top of everything else.👎

I meeeeeeeean what can I really say .. The store IS extremely nice, smells great and the employees were extremely nice !!! As a first time customer though I was suuuuuuuper shocked by the price of the products 😬 I looked around but didnt end up purchasing anything cause Ive seen the same items and brands for cheaper in other stores .. Unfortunately I wont be going back because of the prices alone but it was a nice store

I called to schedule a hair appt on August 6th and was given a date of August 26th. I received two separate confirmation texts, one being the day before my appt. On the day of my appt, and after waiting almost three weeks to get in, I was called and told that someone made a mistake and I couldnt be seen by anyone. The manager called me one time to apologize and see what she could do, and I never heard back from her again. Save yourself time and frustration and go elsewhere.

This was my first time getting a haircut at this Ulta location. I have been to a few others and have had a good experience. The girl who cut my hair was very nice but probably new. I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted, simple short bob (about jaw length, slightly longer) with slight texturizing in the back because I have very thick hair.Red flag #1: The first cut was way higher than I had asked for. She put her comb at the bottom of my neck, I guess where the neck starts, and I told her just a tad higher because I had wanted a slightly shorter cut. As you can see by the picture, her first cut was about 1.5in higher than where I pointed out.Red flag #2: I couldn’t point out or say anything to fix the first snip because she cut my hair with it all down at once! I told her several times I have thick hair. It should have been sectioned of. She did the WHOLE CUT like this.Red flag #3: Like is said already, and like I told her several times. I have thick hair. When she made that first cut, it pulled my hair as did the next couple snips. Between thick hair being cut all at once and what were probably dull shears it was basically hacked away.Red flag #4: I asked for a few face framing pieces. As you can see in the last picture, they didn’t turn out well.Red Flag #5: She told me how she basically just fried her own bangs off 😳I didn’t say anything there at the store because a) I’m usually not one to complain and this is only the 3rd negative review I’ve ever written. b) I had no clue how bad it was until I got home and really started examining it. c) after the first snip the cut was done for. There was nothing that could be done except now I’ll just wait for it to grow.She was a rookie with a $45 price tag. She asked no questions. She didn’t feel through or examine my hair texture, thickness the way it laid before she shampooed it. She was very nice hence the 3stars.Don’t go here. The headshots that I have in 3 days will be mighty pleasant for me we this bowl of a haircut

The store has knowledgable staff that are usually walking around and ready for you to ask questions. In my experience their recommendations have been helpful and I enjoy most of the products they suggest. They have friendlier and more attentive staff than the other Ulta stores in the area. I only gave it four stars because the store is very cluttered, a bit difficult to navigate, and the lines are long on weekends because it is in the mall.

But still I walked away with a very poor hair cut and color! My hair is in a mess . Didnt even show me the back charged me a large amount of money and sent me on my way 😤

This is a very nice store! The employees are helpful and willing to help problem solve for you. Waiting in line doesnt last long. Right now they can only have 2 registers open because of the requirements pertaining to COVID but they work very fast and get you out the door as quick as they can!

I went to ulta to find a new hair product that would calm my crazy frizzy hair. I was greeted by multiple staff! Emily, a hair stylist, helped me pick out a shampoo and conditioner that would help, and also told me about a treatment she could do in the salon. She was not expecting me to book an appointment, just simply informing me about all my options. She was very nice and i decided to book with her for the following day. When i came in for my appointment, she remembered my name and was again very friendly and easy to talk to. The process took a few hours (as keratin treatments normally do!) and she made me as comfortable as possible. Let me tell you, i am SO satisfied with the outcome! I have NEVER loved my hair until this treatment! I will be coming back to Emily for each 6 month treatment. She was kind, easy to talk to, and even gave me tips on how to take care of my hair properly at home! I am very satisfied with the products, services, and staff. Emily, you have given me some much needed self confidence and i appreciate you!

I walked in needing a new foundation and was immediately greeted by more than one staffer. I explained my specific needs and was shown a recommended product that I actually really like. She was very helpful and professional and Ill definitely be back. Quick in and out, no pressure for additional stuff.

Girlfriends new favorite store

My girlfriend loves Ulta. When we first moved here and explored the mall she was so happy they had this store and we have gone here a lot of times since. However it is unfortunate that she can never be comfortable, due to employees following her with their eyes glued every single time.We both work in customer service and learned its not always worth causing a confrontation over someone elses ignorance and move on. But I will stand up for her and say there needs to be some internal management ASAP to prevent this happening to anyone else especially POC going into this store. Now Ill say we have interacted with some very friendly employees as well but it doesnt help much when that one or two keep repeating these profiling behaviors.

Rachel gave me the best hair EVER! She paid attention detail and knew exactly what I wanted and needed for my round face. I definitely recommend her if you are looking for a whole new hair transformation. We cut off 5 inches of my hair and I went from black to rose gold! She knows how to carry a conversation without small talk and walked me around Ulta to show me all the products I needed to upkeep my new hair. This is the third time I have gotten my hair done at this Ulta and I have always left impressed, but this time I needed to share my experience. Overall, it is a great Ulta with everything you need and the best Ulta Salon for sure.

Took my daughter in to get her hair cut, and they did a fantastic job on her bangs and hair. She loved it, and she is proud. And a great price too. She wants to go back there for trims

I was very nervous to get my hair done being I have a 16 month old son and hadnt had my hair cut/dyed since before I found out I was pregnant and my hair was down to my waist. I set up an appointment with EMILY and she was amazing!!! and adorable. She was just as talkative as I am and she made me feel extremely comfortable and not only did my hair beautifully, she made the cut/transition very easy for me and my mixed emotions on letting things go. I guess you could call it a mommy makeover haha but I went back to see her to add a little more lightening on my ends and she took such great care of me and we got to have fun again! I HIGHLY recommend this salon, all of their employees are very helpful and nice and they even offer coffee and water(chilled or room temp) when you arrive. They also make sure that you know what products they are using and help you find great/healthy products that fit your budget. I will be coming back when I need to get my hair done again. Thank you Ulta, and Emily!!! Another satisfied customer!!

The ladies who work at the benefit brow bar do an amazing job. They even offer a tint if you have light eyebrows which saves time and money on filling them in with a pencil. The benefit brand brow gel called gimme brow is my favorite product and would recommend it

Went in to buy shampoo. Went to the register. Cashier wasnt very pleasant, but no big deal. Ppl have bad days. But she asked for my email and I didnt give it to her. She acted like I had to and asked again. Nope. Then she told me that I can not return anything unless I give it to her. Still no. Was kinda pissed by then. And if she looks at the receipt, as long as you have it, you can return merchandise.

This is actually a fairly small sized Ulta, but they have crammed it as full as they can. Most of the lesser expensive brands: BH, Essence, etc do not have a shelf but instead are just end caps to the aisles. Definitely check ahead to make sure they have an item, if youre looking for a specific piece. Other than that, its your typical Ulta beauty in terms of prices and customer service

Love the selection but you have a huge difference of how you are treated. Came in on a weekend dressed nicely with a full face on and I got the red carpet came back a couple weeks later in my construction gear just to grab something quick and I was brushed off Everytime I tried to approach someone.

Emily Ogden at the South Hill mall is the best hair stylist color and cut!!! Go and see her if you want the best.

Got my hair cut by Joshephine. She did a great job, it turned out how I wanted it. I showed her a picture of what I was hoping for. I have curly hair that likes to frizz out so she recommended some helpful products as well.

One of the girls with brunette hair that asked if I needed help was very sweet. Why I’m giving it 2 stars instead of lower.The other one who I asked if they price matched a palette was trying too hard to get a sale to the point where she came off rude. Why would I buy an eyeshadow palette that’s on sale somewhere else and buy it full price at ulta. Her reasoning was because of points. Not everyone constantly shops at ulta all of the time. She acted like it was a stupid question and walked off.

Samantha did a great job with my hair and listened to exactly what I wanted. I had bleached my hair at home and needed color correcting and a hair cut, which can be a hard thing to overcome !

Good size clean store with a selection of beauty products. However, wish i knew me and my daughter had our invisibility belts ON because didnt receive any help or acknowledgement from every associate there despite looking around the store for products my wife needed, and not saying this out of spite but as someone with retail management and being a Army Vet. If your hired to do a job and provide a service than its simple... do it. Great customer service in all jobs goes along way with building a healthy reporte with the community or units you work with.

I did not like my first time going in this store. Couldnt find anyone to help, the employees were busy talking with each other. Its over wilming when you have not been in there before. I also feel the prices are high priced somewhat. The sales clerk that checked me out was polite and nice and explained there loyalty program.

Went here first time with daughter and some of her friends. I had never been, but pretty impressive amount of products. Well lit so you can really see the makeup colors also. We were able to spend time trying things out without employees hovering over us. Quite enjoyed testing the different products..reasonable prices. Im sure I will go back when im on mood to buy.

Dont get me wrong, I love Ulta. Who doesnt want to see a pallette in person before dropping $75 on it, right? And the rewards are a great bonus... but the customer service here isnt that great. I occasionally will get asked if I want a basket if one of the girls decides to break out of their huddle long enough but otherwise Im on my own.

My GF had a great experience. Each person there was more than helpful and had great discounts for her. And Kaitlyn was very sweet. Will definitely be my GFs store from now on.

Horrible experience. First time in the store. I walked around looking for help/assistance and everyone ignored me. Too busy stocking shelves. Then we I approached someone for help, she said they didnt have the product and walked off. It would have been nice to hear other options or recommendations. Never coming back.

Many choices to buy, but store always seems to be ran by teenagers that could care less to help you. Spoke to a gal on the phone before I came down and she sounded so bored and and hung up before I finished saying bye. One employee was helpful and sweet, another passed slowly by me twice even tho I clearly couldnt find something she turned her head away. When I had to approach her, she had about 20 lbs of makeup on and I swear she looked high on heroin or something. Passed by the hair salon and the person that was helping someone on the phone about lash extensions started to talk really bad about them afterwards to another lady while she was working on a clients hair. Very unprofessional. This all happened in about 15 minutes. Been to Ultas in this state and AZ and all of them seem to be the same. Im guessing poor management. I usually frequent Sephora for this reason.

I really liked this Ulta store. Lots of help from the employees. I just thought there might be a little more discounts on the products. But it is a good Ulta store. They have everything.

Large selection of hair care and beauty items. But it can get very expensive to buy. They do offer hair cut, color, and waxing in the store. Again it can be pricy though. Youre better off asking someone who has used a hair styles because not everyone likes what they get. They offer a discount in their magazine, you can sign up for it an have it delivered. You can also sign up for points to use later.

8/8/19 went to so hill mall ULTA location ...very disappointed.!! Tried a few foundations (3)not. Right for me-then 2 more...one was just ok..I asked for a sample to try for a couple of days-I was told they dont give samples.I would have to buy a $41 foundation to try for 2 days..then the sales girl proceeded to tell me their return policy-I left with no make up &two different colors on my face..not impressed ..I wont shop that ULTA or any other ..I use only high end make up & I dont mind paying for it,the sales girl says take it home try it for2-3 days & return it if its not right....why not just give samples as I have tried to return foundation in the past & was told no product was used...I couldnt return it .. Still got it a waste of money on a product I barely used..I will shop elsewhere..I added if I could make an appointment to get a color match -I was told they dont make appointment s its walk in only-as I sat & waited about 15 minutes for the sales girl to get to me & she kept having to leave for one thing or another-I was there for an hour & 1/2...left with no make up & not pleased at all with my ULTA experience

Usually the many times Ive come in here, the cashiers are rude and not accomodating. Theres been multiple issues Ive had including honoring sales posted in the store, exchanging non-opened items...3 days after I bought them because I found a review on something better I wanted, etc. I dont usually write review because the cattiness doesnt bother me that much but I felt the need to say that today, I had a positive experience. JASMINE with NARS was amazing. She is so patient, helpful, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there. She doesnt act as if youre bothering her if you have a question, and she gives great advice and helps show you why she suggested it by doing it on you. Thanks Jasmine for being overall a great person today!

I have never been to an ulta that has any kind of customer service, people are usually rude. I never get help and have to wait if I can actually find someone to help me.

Has really good unique products but are pretty pricey! Very slow customer service and long lines discouraged my mother and I. We waited 10 min in line and still had 6 ppl to go so we ended up leaving and not purchasing anything. They need more employees and checkers. No one asked me if I needed help but I love the makeup and hair products!

Sadly this ulta is the only one close or i probably wouldnt be going. Every single time i go to this location, me and boyfriend are stalked by the employees that work there and are pressured into taking a bag even if i have only one product in my hand, today one of the employees didnt ask if i wanted one just said “here take one”. One time an employee genuinely thought we were going to steal and called security which followed us around the store until we left, mind you i purchased 150$ worth of product. I understand you have to watch for shoplifters, but for the fact ive been in here probably 6 different times or more and im a loyal ulta customer in general, it causes for an anxious shopping trip and me wanting to purchase my products as fast as i can because i feel like im being put on radar for the whole duration im in the store, for basically no reason. I spend majority of my money at this place and its quite unfortunate to say the least that your employees judge as much as they do. The employees at other ulta locations ive been to definitely dont treat their customers that way.
