As always, Tom and his staff completed the work I requested and made suggestions for any needed repairs or service found during the recent servicing of my vehicle. I have always used MasterTech for all my vehicle repairs and service. Tom and his staff are professional, friendly and have all the necessary knowledge and training to complete the work on my vehicles. I trust Tom and his staff. If the work needs to be done by another shop, Tom will recommend the dealer or repair shop to do the work. Tom will answer questions and make recommendations prior to any work being done.
I was on my way to Portland and had car trouble in Richland. Happened on a Friday and was sure I was going to miss half my vacation. Called so many places and the owner here said he would try to have me up and running the same day. Very friendly and helpful, even stayed late to get it done. They saved my vacation and I would highly recommend them.
Great place for all automotive needs. Took one vehicle in for a/c repair and will be taking all our vehicles to MasterTech for all service needs!
My 2010 Silverado had a tick; maybe the lifters, that is completely gone after the first oil change with master tech. I’m very satisfied and can’t recommend these guys enough!!
It took 3 months to get my car fixed. Hope its right
Everyone at Master Tech was great with my older bmw. They diagnosed it and were very honest and realistic about what needed to be done ASAP and what could wait.I received a detailed diagnosis with pictures and explanations. The ensuing phone call was pleasant and not rushed. All my questions were answered with no condescending attitude. The owner was beyond helpful. I can tell he’s passionate about what he does and he runs his business accordingly. I’d recommend these guys anytime.
You have to pay 150 to 200 dollars just for them to look at your vehicle.... they call it a vehicle inspection.... even if you know whats needed.... what a crock.... wanted a belt put on....lol
Good Covid-19 precautions. Liked the text message interface with photos. Provided good preventative maintenance information. Did quality work.
Well I found myself in a time crunch and a car leaking power steering fluid, instead of dealing with it myself I decided to drop it off with master tech. It was a week before I needed the car to take a trip. After that time past I went in to check on how things were going. The bill was already up hundreds of dollars just to diagnose the leak. The the owner quoted $300.00 possibly more to actually fix the leak . Reason being its in such a tight spot and will take time with his specialty tools. With the bill already more than I was planning spending and the need for the car to take a trip past, I took it home to take a look at the leak myself. The problem was fixed in one hour without counting the time to get the GM certified $8.99 part. There was plenty of room to work, and was completed with a common pair of pliers and a simple ratchet set. Master tech probably does do good work but people should not be taken advantage of . Oh and please beware of the $400.00 fuel system cleaner the owner will try to sell you. You can buy it on Amazon for $60.00 with free shipping 😉 and completed with absolutely no mechanical skills, just follow the directions on the back is
I cannot comment on their work and initially gave them three stars as my only interaction was a phone call and it could have been a bad day. Apparently not. I have since lowered my rating to one star because instead of asking how they could improve or reaching out to ask what happened, they instead post customer information (if Im a customer or not), and make jokes. Not okay. The initial over the phone service I experienced while calling around looking for a mechanic was atrocious. The person I spoke with was quite rude, and ended the call by hanging up on me after stating they would not be able to level headlights. (For the record, that wasnt my only reason for calling).
I am a very skeptical, kind of negative, kind of person but i have to say these guys did a good job. I brought my vehicle in because somewhere in the electrical system there was a short and if i left my car was parked for an extended period of time the battery would discharge and it wouldn’t start. These guys diagnosed, fixed it and returned it to me in the same day... yes i was skeptical but i let it sit for 3 weeks and when i went out to start it, it fired up with a strong battery . This one of few mechanic shops i will go back to. Trying to fix it myself ny replacing, the battery, alternator, and even bought a regulator kit off ebay all for around 700 dollars, still not fixed these guys diagnosed it and removed the for a little over a 1/4 of that. Wish i would have taken it to them first now... but i am very skeptical of mechanic shops.
They have always taken care of me and are always kind courteous and professional. They perform a great service and they are an excellent Auto Stop.
This is the best mechanical and customer service that I have ever received during a car repair. The detailed report included photos and quotes on what each component would cost. My TDI has improved power and fuel usage since the service and we are very happy. We will be bringing all our diesels to be serviced here from now on! A big thanks to Thomas and the whole team!
Friendly, personable service. They do professional quality work on my vehicles every time that I bring them into their shop. They take the time to explain very well my repair options and they stand behind their job. I give them my thumbs-up!
I am very pleased with the services provided.
Always friendly, fair service! Trust them to take care of my car!
Horrible company, first off I wanted too take my car too a local company instead of a dealership. They where very nice in person. My 2012 Volkswagen passat had in issue with losing power, they took about a week to get back too me which is something I was ok with I actually told them to take there time since it was a back up. They came back and said they needed more time now the bill is up too 474.37. Ok took them a couple more weeks which was fine. Then told me they needed more time and would cost me know 770 dollars just to diagnose the issue. They are a total RIP off. please unless you want to keep spending money, almost a 1000 dollars just too diagnose. I understand these things take time but I have never seen a place wanting more time, 3 different times. If they where a good company that wanted me to bring in my other 2 cars they should have not kept charging to diagnose but hey there lose.
Had an awesome experience. Everything was explained to me and I must say, the updates that I was given on my vehicle were something I had never experienced before. Detailed texts and emails with pictures etc. Great experience!
Took car there for rough running. Cost a lot but needed lots of work. Very happy with service and text me when done
These guys were so helpful they stayed a half hour later than closing to help me out it was so great!
Great place, quick friendly service. Best of all car is running great. Thanks!
Great service! So glad I found out about Master Tech.
Very good knowledge about European cars. They keep you up to date by sending detailed reports of the issues they find. They are there to help you and walk the extra mile.
Thomas and the whole team at Master Tech are awesome! They really care about your vehicle and keep you informed through the whole process. I have taken all my cars to Thomas for several years and I wont go anywhere else! I can trust them to do the job and to do it right. Thank you Master Tech!
I wanted to take my car to a specialized mechanic, i had gone in for a diagnosis because the car was knocking it just ended up the car being low on oil and they were wanting to replace my valve clover and valve cover gasket and they said they already had everyting Disassembled ready to change the gaskets and i denied the work because it would come out to $2000. After i changed the valve cover myself I EXAMINED A ALUMINUM CAP INSIDE MY VALVE COVER JUST SITTING ON TOP OF A VALVE it has obviously signs of metal to metal contact and it was left in there by a mechanic
Thomas the owner is very detail oriented. He explains what is happening with your vehicle and with photos to support his recommendations. It is a little more expensive here but it’s because they use the highest quality parts and fluids for your vehicle. Which is worth spending as it gets your car running for a long time.
The need for a new clutch in my 25 year old Porsche Carrera opened up the opportunity to retrofit the IMS bearing. Because its a 4S with all wheel drive, I trusted it to Carl and this technical team. Thanks shes purring again!
7/21/20 update: Had Master Tech change the timing belt and service/inspect my daughters car to verify no problems before driving down to Arizona in the 110 degree heat last week and car ran like a champ - no issues.Ive been using Master Tech for almost 10 years now and have always been a satisfied customer. Theyve gotten to the bottom of every car problem Ive brought them and usually gotten it fixed within the day. Highly recommend this shop.
Master Tech has been running an honest, technologically advanced and personable auto mechanic shop for years. I appreciate the quickness in getting a repair completed and the communication to let me know the status during the repair process. I have no reservations in recommending their service.
Master Tech in Kyle is the absolute best place to take your car. They always take care of you and make sure your car is fixed. They take pride in their workmanship and customer service. You will not find more honest, caring and hardworking people than you will find at Master Tech in Kyle. They are the only place that we take our car to. They are the absolute best, honest, and know what they are doing. They treat you like a family member and you can trust them.
Great mechanic, they listen to your problem and diagnose and if you disagree they will recheck with you and talk about whatever is necessary. Always checked their quotes against averages and it all lined up, every time pretty middle ground. Personally I dont want a bottom line, cutting corners mechanic working on my vehicle. Great service, great price, and I may have found my general mechanic in the area.
Straight up no hassle labor and parts with a really solid warranty. I can trust them that they arent ripping me off. In over 6800 dollars of work done I have only had a problem with 2 parts braking and when I took it in they got it fixed with a new part and no charge because they were within the 3 yr waranty. They are honest and compassionate, and have always given me a fair price for repairs. Ive been through about 12 different mechanics and by far Master Mechanic has been the least amount of effort. I drop my car off in the morning, get a ride to work, and when its done they call me up, come pick me up and its no hassle. I dont take my car anywhere else now. Even in the process of switching from Big O to Master Mechanic for my Tires and Brakes now. Big O still cant do as good of a job as Master Mechanic. Thanks guys and heres to the future eh? Probably wont be too long before they have several shops up and down the Wasatch Mountains. Keep up the good work guys!!
MasterTech performed rear brake service and a transmission flush on my Subaru Outback. Thomas is very informative and describes the service in detail. I’m always pleased.
When I explained to Matt about my A/C not working properly, he soon diagnosed the problem, explained how it could be fixed. This was done in a timely manner, and I thought at a reasonable price. I have been going to Master Tech for a few years, and have always received excellent service. I would recommend Master Tech to anyone.
I was satisfied with my experience however the technician gave me no ad-blue for my diesel on the initial visit, I had to ask when I brought it back for alignment. Had to ask on my son’s Q5 TDI as well...The real kicker is that after less than 500 miles since the service I nearly ran out of oil because the the technician lost or damaged my oil plug which is 2 piece (plug and a gasket) There was no gasket when the leak was investigated and I had to buy a new one. That wasn’t expensive but I also have to buy all new oil from the dealership when I pick it up today. Not satisfied at all now. :(
They are very efficient and timely. Hate it when my VW is ill but wouldnt take her any other place!!!
These guys were fantastic. Very upfront and honest, and took care of a couple little things for free since they were already working on a couple of big items. I felt that they were exceptionally invested in helping me as a customer
Dealer level care, with lower prices and wait times. Everyone Ive worked with over a hand full of visits, has been straightforward and willing to answer all my questions.
I was passing through Richland on a business trip when I noticed an oil leak under my car in the hotel parking lot. I was hoping to get my car serviced in one day so I could continue on with my trip the following morning. I made a few calls to local automotive shops in the area before contacting Master Tech. The good people at Master Tech worked me into their already full schedule, serviced my car that same afternoon, and had me back on the road by late afternoon. Courteous staff. Great service. Makes me wish this was my regular mechanic shop!
I found a special BMW I was looking for in the TriCities. I asked Master Tech to do a Pre Purchase Inspection and they did a great job!Based on the quality of their inspection I felt confident buying the car sight unseen.
I have nothing but positive comments about this business. I own several vehicles and have used Master Tech multiple times and Ive always experienced excellent customer service and quality work done on my vehicles. Highly recommended!!
We ran out of fuel on Friday after business hours. They loaned me a gas can even though they were closed. This is the epitome of great customer service.
I have been taking my cars here for oil changes and other small items for a few years now. I am always treated respectfully and graciously, the prices have been fair, and they are good about keeping their appointments. Win-win!
Thomas has taken very good care of us and our car. This is the only mechanic in the tricities that we take our car. They are honest and upfront. They have even been wonderful enough to take me to work when Ive dropped my car off in the morning. Cost of repairs is very reasonable. Thanks for watching out for us!
Great customer Service...my husband I have gone here for years and keep coming back. They are great to evaluate and give you the best recommendations and do quality work and stand behind it. Highly recommend.
How amazing to find a good, reliable, clean and FRIENDLY place to take my truck. I truly feel welcomed. These guys look me in the eye and tell the truth without talking down to the woman. Love em; cant say enough good things. Thank the heavens I found them!
Master Tech is the best place for all your automotive needs. Duke and his staff have always been very kind, helpful, informative. I would recommend anyone to take their vehicles to them. I cannot say enough kind words about Duke and his mechanic shop.
Thomas and company are great!I am seriously delinquent in putting this praise out there. Master Tech Auto has kept my car on the road and improved its performance over the last several years. I normally just expect my vehicle to work, and I depend on it doing so. As we all know, every now and then stuff happens. Thomas and his crew have rescued me more than once when stuff has happened. Whats been emergencies for me have been matter of course business for them. In short order and for very reasonable fees that have gotten me going again with minimal hassle. I am always glad to deal with Master Tech auto, and refer everyone in need to them. If youre not currently taking your vehicle to Master Tech for its regular and emergency services, you ought to be. Youll be treated fairly and with respect, your car will come back better than it went in, and your wallet wont even feel roughed up.
Very pleased with the service and the prompt response. I had a dead line to meet and the shop tuned to and got me in and out. Thy were not the cheapest, but very fairly priced. I will go back to them again!
These guys are so great to work with!!! I have an older vehicle and need repairs often. I can always count on Master Mechanic to get me in, fixed and out the door in a reasonable amount of time and at a fair price.
My wife took her BMW to a certified BMW shop for an electrical issue she was having. They estimated the repair at $3500. Why so much? They said they needed to replace some 7 electrical parts that their scanner said were bad. I took the same car to Duke at Master Tech and told him what was happening. He immediately had a hunch and said he would get back with me after he had a chance to troubleshoot and confirm. Duke charged me $99 to track down and repair an electrical issue that required NO parts replacements. It was a simple grounding issue. Bottom line is that the high tech shop relied too heavily on their expensive equipment that they obviously dont know how to interpret, while Duke relied heavily on his extreme knowledge of automobiles and long-time experience. The question is, had I gone the first route and paid the $3500 and STILL had the problem, HOW MUCH MORE would it have cost me in terms of money, time, and patience? The answer is, GO WITH DUKE AND DONT WORRY ABOUT IT!!
Finally, a shop that I can trust for integrity and skill!. As an older woman, those two factors are important. PLUS they dont talk down to woman. Its been unpleasant to get the little lady routine at other automotive repair shops. Thank you Duke. Its worth the drive from Canyon Lake to Kyle for your service.
My experience with Master Mechanic was a good one. I worked primarily with Jeremy who did a great job communicating things to me. I went in because I needed to get a safety inspection in order to renew my registration. I also had noticed a plug that had broken loose on the engine and needed to be replaced. The results came back that I needed to replace the inner tie rod on the passenger side along with various other recommendations. When I indicated that I would do the work on the tie rods myself there was no fuss as Jeremy was very understanding.I had them replace the plug which they informed me was to the thermometer gauge on the engine. I did the necessary repairs and had them do an alignment.Overall great job, everyone was respectful to me and my vehicle.
Very personable great knowledge about diesel fuel engines. Nice to know there are honest people doing work on my cars
Good shop trustworthy fast and efficient will not go to another shop for any of my cars very nice and friendly would recommend them to any one
So it appears the owner doesnt take criticism very well. How one responds to feedback really reflects on them and their business. Ironic how the owner says all feedback will help us improve...to only the positive feedback. Ill give you some business advice...dont argue with customers. The response is telling, the customer is important. Business 101 without the customer= no money. You are providing a service. And your friends over at less Schwab balked at your diagnostic. Remember it was missing a bolt. That took your friends 1 minute to find at discover, maybe you guys could learn from them. I mean arent you about science over here at master techs, science embodies openness to failure.
NOS sensor problem. They didnt update software after I had told manager that that was a common procedure for that fix, but they did up sale on an injector cleaning service vehicle probably didnt need.. They were not clear on scheding service, told us to bring vehicle in asap for warranty work monday morning and didnt get to vehicle till 2pm, or timely with getting back to us with results. Spent nearly $1000 problem not resolved. Will not be back to shop for future mechanical work on any vehicle.
Thank you Freddie and Thomas!! These guys were so awesome and patient.
Dont make a negative review! They will remove it When I posted a FB review they were totally rude and condescending. Unprofessional.
Great place to bring your European car if youre trying to avoid a dealership. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
This was the best experience at a mechanic I have ever had. Thomas and the guys are very competent and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted done and now my truck is all better.thanks again master tech!
Master Tech always does excellent work. They addressed each problem with expertise in a timely fashion.
I appreciate the ride home and the quick service on my truck
Very disappointed with this place. Had my Land Rover towed here for a blown radiator hose. Was charged $463.94 + tax. Was over charged for labor, should have been no more then 1 hour but was charged $239.80 and a “Supply Charge” of $34.36. 2.5 gallons of antifreeze which cost them approx $6.50 a gallon, I was charged $20.00 a gallon. I won’t deal with this shop again.
I brought my car in because the altenator belt would not stop squealing, Master tech found the alternator was bad, the belt was the wrong size and the alternator bracket was broken. I am sure glad I took it to them for repair. master tech took care of me for a reasonable price and the people were very nice. I recommend this shop to anyone needing repair.
I will NEVER take my car here again! We were in a bind and had to tow our car to the nearest auto shop which unfortunately meant taking it to Master Tech Automotive. We told them we thought the transmission was going out and if they could take a look at it. They called back and agreed it was the transmission. We went to get the keys the next day and they charged us $150 just to take a look at it! I was even okay with that (even thought I thought that was a bit steep considering they didnt have to do any work).Last, which put me over board. We asked if we could keep it there for a day or so until we figured out what we were going to do with the vehicle. They called the next day and my husband said we are going to sell it and not pay for the transmission and they said it needed off of their property right away then. Though we had already paid the $150. I thought it was very rude.Needless to say I think this is terrible customer service and they took advantage of the fact that we had nowhere else to go!
Took my wifes car to Master Tech to install a front lower splash shield I bought at a parts store. The part was installed quickly and to my satisfaction. Will go to Master Tech in the future for other repairs & would recommend them to family & friends.
I had a sudden issue with my car that became a series of failures that the guys at master tech figured out in a very reasonable time frame and did what they could to lesson the financial impact that it eventually became. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a honest shop and I will take any future car problems to these guys!
Im a car guy and buy and sell 2 or 3 cars a year. I moved over from Seattle in 2016 and had to gave up my ace mechanic there when I moved. I searched for a very well regarded mechanic in the Tri-City area to take care of my cars and Master Tech had the high online rating so I took a chance. Im glad I did! In the last year theyve seen 4 of my vehicles with a variety of problems and they always provide the right fix for a fair price. Thomas, Freddie and the rest of the crew are pros and I trust them to do whats right. They arent the cheapest but I dont want the cheapest, I want the best!
Very knowledgeable straight forward service from Matt and Duke. Pricing very reasonable and they completed the repairs ahead of schedule.
Absolutely love & appreciate this place & the workers. Very kind, helpful, & honest!
Great service and installation. Will use Master Tech for any future work or maintenance.
They fixed my electrical issues I had on my 74 ranchero. Easy to talk to and they didnt charge a arm and a leg.
Love the people that work there and the service I get at master tech. I wont take my cars anywhere else anymore!
Great customer service, great work.
After several years of taking my vehicle to Master Mechanic I can say that I have never been disappointed with their cheerfulness, professionalism and their service of my vehicle.
Awesome! Got me in the morning I called, courtesy shuttled me to work and courtesy shuttled me back to pick up my car when it was done. Did a great job fixing my vehicle.
Thomas and team are great. Dependable and trustworthy
Job Shadow went great, they were really friendly and quick workers.
Absolutely love these guys. First off, Thomas is professional, genuinely cares about his customers and loves to teach you stuff about cars. I like to learn, so win win.Second his staff are also very professional. They really do go above and beyond trying to figure out what is wrong with the car. I had a noise that I was hearing, but nobody else heard it and told me it was rod knock and I just needed to get a new engine (very very expensive). After having sat in my driveway for months, I took it to Master Tech convinced it wasnt rod knock as the timing of the noise in relation to the RPMs and whatnot did not fit a diagnosis of rod knock. They searched and searched until they found the culprit..somebody reused the intake manifold gasket and it had broken and was flapping as combustion was occuring. The problem is now gone and I dont have to worry about going Zoom Zoom boom...for awhile. Now, as far as price is concerned, I cant give an accurate assessment. The repairs I have had done here were always quite extensive, so I was expecting them to be pricy. But from what I have gathered, they are very fair and competitive (if not better) than other mechanics around the area.Give them a shot. They know their stuff.Mark H
Very helpful with a custom receiver and hitch that I needed on my Honda, Odyssey
Thomas and the crew are awesome. They tell you how it is and the options available. All my cars are serviced here.
I took my car in to have it looked at and Fredie was very perosnable, and the service was great! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!
Great customer service and quality work at a price consistent with other shops in the area. I take my diesel truck here and highly recommend them for any work you may need done. The owner is a great guy and is always in the shop and willing to explain anything and everything about a particular issue you are having.Their diesel guy (his name escapes me currently) is a great dude and will chat with you about maintenance, upgrades, etc and gives great advice. I bought a particular brand of aftermarket exhaust at his recommendation and couldnt be more pleased. Even though I was planning on installing it myself they were more than willing to share what brands/products they would recommend.I have been to numerous other shops in Richland, kennewick, and west richland and have not found anywhere I would rather take any of my vehicles.
Im on my 3rd vehicle with Master Tech. I have always received knowledgeable, quality service. If you are looking for a mechanic you can trust, its my opinion you need not look any further.
Not a very customer-oriented company. We were coming to Richland to buy an RV and had heard good references of Thomas for VWs. I called, set up an appointment, told them it was a VW Rialta and they said they could do the inspection for $79. We had traffic problems driving in and arrived a few minutes late but the owner delivered the RV for the inspection on time. They told him they couldnt do the inspection because they didnt know it was an RV. The owner called me and I explained to them that they had agreed to the inspection of the VW Rialta and they said that they thought it was a Eurovan and didnt know it was an RV (the VW Rialta is known as a Eurovan and is even referred to as such on their website) Finally they said they would do it, but that it would be $200 + materials for the inspection since it was an RV (they could not explain what materials were involved in the inspection). By that time, I had arrived in person. I felt very frustrated that they had committed to doing the inspection for one price and then nearly tripled it once they saw the vehicle.Since we had just arrived and had never actually seen the RV, we had our first live impression of it when we got there. It was 4:15 and it was approaching closing time, so we asked the mechanic to start the engine inspection while we started doing our own inspection of the RV part.Well, within 5 minutes, we knew it was a trashed RV with numerous serious problems that were not reported (AC didnt work, front tires bald, body damage, drivers door wouldnt open, electric windows and mirrors didnt work, filthy inside and out). So, I asked the mechanic to stop, 5 minutes into his inspection. The Mechanic charged us for a 1/2 hour service charge, $47, which I didnt feel very good about. I guess my feeling is if you want to earn a good reputation, you need to not only do good work, but also treat people decently and the way Master Tech treated us was not decent and is NOT how I treat customers in our business.Go with them at your own risk and with caution.
Great to work with, reasonable prices and fast service!
If I could only give negative stars I would. I took my work truck there to have the engine replaced. It took them 6 weeks to replace it the first time. Then it would run hot, so I took it back, 6 or 7 times, until finally they had to replace the head gasket. That took 8 weeks. still ran hot. took it back another 5 or 6 times. Still ran hot. Radiator overflowing, antifreeze bioling out hot! I followed the owners instruction to the word, him telling me to just keep an eye on those gauges...while it kept getting to hot and have to pull over and wait for it to cool down. Finally they decided maybe they should take the engine out and replace it. That took them 4 1/2 months! This is my work truck mind you.... how I make a living and feed my family. Every time I would go in to see if it was done, they would say we will get to it, when we get to it . So, I filed a complaint with the attorney general. Then they were mad that I did so because How could you do that over something so small Now, I get it back this last time, it ran horribly, I poped the hood to see if I could take a look at the engine, right after I picked it up, and the radiator hose wasnt even on tight and was leaking...who knows what else they didnt do right. What a joke. Now they say the engine isnt even under warranty... ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! THIS MUST BE A JOKE! WHERE IS ASHTON KUTCHER?? I MUST BE GETTING PUNKED! Nope....It was for real. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!!!! I wouldnt trust them.... HORRIBLE!
Master Tech guys know there stuff. This is a great shop.
TLDR; Master Tech Automotive provides superb service with a personal touch.I have never been disappointed with their work, and I am never surprised by the price tag. Thomas and the gang are friendly, ready to chat about my car and the repairs it needs, and they are always willing to go the extra mile, like providing a pick up and drop off if I need a ride.My most recent experience was quite good - the check engine light on my car (2002 Honda Accord) came on, so I took it in. They diagnosed the problem (the distributor part had a defect*) and shipped in the new part over the weekend. Since the problem arose within 12 months of replacing the part, it was under warranty and therefore at no cost to me. Master Tech Auto goes a step further, and makes sure even the labor costs are waived if it fits within the warranty! Very pleasant surprise :)* The distributor part needed can only be ordered from one manufacturer, and sometimes theyre faulty - nothing the car shop can do about it. Lame, but thats life with a 13-year-old car.
Tremendously unhappy with the service at master tech. Dishonest, disorganized, and lazy. My cars front wheel was wobbling, I mentioned I knew that I needed struts replaced. I left my car there at 4 pm and they didnt seem like they were in a rush to fix it, while I waited there for an hour. They open at 8 am, I called at 9 asking what the update was about my Nissan. They fumbled around their wording and after a few ums asked can you remind what was going on again? They should have had that documented and this revealed they hadnt inspected it yet. By this time Im beginning to realize it is not a priority. They told me my strut was bent and quote me 800 for just the front two, all while les Schwab had quoted 500. They were just busy so I desperately tried master tech. Bad idea. I kindly told them I will take it les Schwab since its way cheaper. I go to les Schwab they look at it or 5 minutes and tell me all thats wrong is the bolt is missing connecting my struts to my tire. They didnt even charge me while master tech charged a diagnostic. Quite frankly I dont think they looked at it. Any inexperienced mechanic would have been able to see it was missing. Waste of money. Dont go here. Also, the owner likes to talk his way through things, in a glib manner, but his actions dont measure. Not charming in the least bit, especially when I sense ingenuine motives.Sincerely,Swindled patron.
I will not go back there. I can get the same job done elsewhere way cheaper. They overcharged me by some amount. Also, they quoted me this amount but at the end I had to pay more than expected. Not recommended.
Great service A+
Good service and friendly. Just like every other mechanic, they charge you for a diagnostic which is really just mechanic speak for I want another $75.
Corvette, and other sports car owners can trust MasterTech automotive. Period! These guys are better than the dealership/stealership. They diagnosed and fixed my no start/no crank, on board computer malfunction, and some other issues on my vette super fasssst. They communicated with me every step of the way. They understood I was visiting from out of town, (and my financial situation), and only addressed the problems I asked them to. The didnt try to stick me with the your car also needs this speech to try to run up the bill. These guys are honest and treat you like family. Many Thanks to the whole gang at MTA!
Horrible place
Reliable, fast, efficient, and affordable. I dont use any other mechanic.
Great service, always pleasant and professional. Ive been using them for about 10 years now.
Duke has been keeping my 98 Ranger runningsince I moved here years ago. I wouldnt take mytruck to anyone else.
They helped my friend fix his truck just a little slow is all
