A few years ago my son and I went to Griffin Cigar Lounge looking for cigars to gift my husband - Ben for his birthday. Not knowing anything about Cigars. The atmosphere and service at Griffin made me feel so comfortable to ask questions. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, they have a gift to teach their passion. That following weekend was my husbands’s birthday and I surprised him by taking him to the 1st Annual Cigar Klatch event at Griffin Cigar and he was super impressed and happy with his Gurkha cigar infused with cognac. The event was very classy, welcoming and fun for a great way to spend his birthday…..live salsa music, drinks, great cigars, good company….we had a blast. We’ve been customers ever since!Fast forward to 2021 as we’re helping our youngest son prepare to get married and have a wedding day he’ll remember for the rest of his life. We decide to have a cigar bar at his wedding. My husband reached out to Max and Ryan at Griffin Cigar to let them know what ideas he had. Not knowing that Max has over 25 yrs of experience in presenting at events. Max came up with a proposal to work with our budget and at first I was super nervous I won’t lie (I’m the mother so….you know I naturally worry). 😜 I just want to let all the mothers of the bride or groom know…..no need to be nervous. The cigar bar was more than a hit! It was classy and the highlight of the wedding. I couldn’t imagine the wedding without it. Groomsmen, bridesmaids, father, brothers, uncles, aunts and guests of all ages absolutely LOVED it! I just want to thank Max for the ideas and support you gave my husband. The setup and presentation combined with my husband’s good taste in cigars and charm created a vibe at my baby’s wedding that was beautiful, undeniable and unforgettable. Just popped in from out of town. Selection is top notch. Atmosphere is great, plenty of comfy seating. Would have loved to have my smoke there if not for wedding party. Awesome spot!

Max, the Owner is the best! It was nice to sit and have a smoke and meet some great people there. Max even sat with us and we had a great time. I love to visit different cigar lounges. This one is run by a father and son pair. Both are full of life and great guys. They know there stuff. Even the first cigar they ever smoked. If you smoke cigars and like a great environment this is the place for you.

Griffin Cigar is a classy and well organized lounge with a great selection of premium to mid-level cigars, a very welcoming diverse environment. I highly recommend this location to any and all Aficionados that enjoy a quiet and social atmosphere in the RVA area.

As a business traveler, I have the pleasure of visiting cigar lounges across the entire southeast. This is by far one of best I’ve visited from an atmosphere, selection and customer service aspect. The owner (Faris) is a wonderful host and made me feel as welcomed as if I was a regular. The other patrons I sat with were great people and we all enjoyed the amazing atmosphere. This is a must visit when I’m in town next, great lounge!!

Great shop to relax and smoke. Smaller inventory of cigars but they offer quality picks. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and offer recommendations. Definitely a new favorite spot for me when Im at Stony Point.

This is an amazing place to sit relax and have a cigar. Extremely knowledgeable staff that was happy to explain every cigar you had questions about. This was totally a Nice place to sit and have quality conversation with friend(s) while enjoying your favorite Cigar. The only downfall I noticed was it wasnt a Bar of some type... because I enjoy a drink with my cigar. Now they do furnish bottle water and sodas. The Salesman is totally Amazing and very informative... and thats why Im totally going back. You should totally go and check them out.

This is one of the most spectacular places that I have ever been in regards to a place to hang out and smoke cigars. If you’re in this area, this is a must, even if you only have 30 mins.
