I would not recommend Eye Lab. If we could give negative stars I would. In April I went to this location to purchase a pair of glasses and sunglasses. This was my first visit to Eye Lab. I’ve worn glasses for 35 years and until purchasing my glasses from this company I have never had problems with quality. The regular eye glasses I purchased after the first week the arm was wonky and loose. I couldn’t return them for repair because at the time they shut down for Covid. This wasn’t an issue for me because I had assumed after paying $700 for my glasses they would replace or repair them. 2 weeks later the arms on the sunglasses were so bent outward if I bent over they would fall off my face. When they reopened I took both pairs back in to the store. The clerk helping me said the black pair that you see in the picture was designed with a spring hinge and are supposed to be like that. But for only $200 they would replace them. I said no after always paying $700 less than 2 months before. The clerk went to the display where a duplicate pair was and showed me how on all the others the left arm was loose and then shrugged stating they must have a defect. Again offered replacement for $200 for the same pair with the defected left arm. The clerk tightened the pair and gave them back to me. The sunglasses they tried to bend back into shape. The result of both these repairs can be seen in the picture. Eye lab has less than quality eyeglasses and does not stand behind the products they sale. If I had the opportunity I would have returned these glasses for a full refund but again that was not an option. I will not return to Eye lab and would not recommend to anyone that is looking for a company that stands behind their products.

Tanya took care of me today and I have to say she was more than helpful. Very sweet and she even recommended products for my family. 10/10 I plan on going there from now on.

Tanya and david took care of me great service!Nothing is free the exam is free with purchase of glasses... Glasses being frames and lenses. some of the Frames are 2-3 times more expensive than some places ( search around ) the prescription lenses are about the same as any other place i paid $216 out the door with some upgrades but there are discounts and cheaper frames available i think starting at 30$ up to 300+ but again search you might find a better deal on frames you can get your lenses added to your own frames but its fees and cost i wouldnt pay the cost to re-lense my frames if i had a cheap pair. It kinda comes out to an average cost.The free eye exam is for vision far near stigmatism they dont dilate pupils im not sure if they offer in-depth analysis i didnt ask nor had time or ride home to have it done.
Place warranty is a scam, Keep in mind you’re gonna have to get new lenses because they change the style of the frames frequently. Pricing is very unclear from the start discount this and that and it sounds like a good deal but more confusing! Next eye exam will not be from here, will not be returning customer!

This was a visit from a month ago but I would not recommend this place at all. I generally look at reviews before visiting a new place but I was desperate for an eye exam. After my exam, we discussed frames and was immediately told that they could work out the prices for me. I questioned the prescription and they kept changing up with me. The prices were still outrageous and I decided against the frames with them. I ordered online after receiving my frames and I could tell my prescription was not correct. Well today I went for a second opinion with another vision company and sure enough their prescription was way too strong for my eyes. Please do your research and go elsewhere.
Terrible experience. NO DOCTOR ON SITE!When I scheduled an appointment for my son and I they didn’t tell me there wasn’t a doctor on site. I filled out the paperwork, we got photos taken of our eyes and were asked to wait in the lobby. After a few minutes the clerk told me they’re waiting on the doctor to “connect” then explain how the exam will be virtual. I was skeptical but agreed to wait a bit longer. Meanwhile, she kept pressing me to check out the glasses for my child. I told her we were getting an annual exam and he didn’t wear glasses and she kept insisting as if she knew they would automatically prescribe him glasses. After 30 minutes of waiting for the doctor, the clerk said the usual “our system is down, it’s usually never this long before the doctor connects, we’ve never had this issue before” like okay I’ve never heard that one before. After an hour waiting the manager offered me 10% off if I returned the next day to complete my exam because it was closing time!!!! I asked her why didn’t they tell me there was no doctor on site and she said it was corporate policy. This place is a total waste of time!
Love this place, but if you want to see a eye Dr. In person. You would need to make an appointment on the highway 6 and westheimer location. The Richmond location does not have that available anymore. I got to see the eye Dr. At the Richmond location when it was still available, and loved it.
I really need my glasses to see .How did my glasses take so long to come in and when my wife picks them for me they are falling apart. I cant clean them without the lens pops out. I went here because of the cost i feel like I got ...got because i cant wear my new glasses without the new lenses falling out and getting scratched.Im so disappointed. Dont yall do a final inspection ?
I went online and read everything what people are saying. Unfortunately I didn’t get the great welcome. Eyelab have new hours since covid 19 so they open at 11 a.m. My appointment was at 11:10a.m so I sat and wait. When I finally got in the lady wasn’t very welcome she right into “will I be using my insurance”? I replied yes. But they didn’t accept my insurance and she never offer any offers. I walked out and went back because on the window there was an offer for buy glasses and get one and free exam, she never mention that to me. I ask her about it and she told me another lady will assist me. I felt like they didn’t want my business. I will NOT go back! I feel like this place is a scam due to you choose between 10 pair glasses and basic no add on for $100 and if want glare or bifocal it went to $300.
I would not recommend this company for sure. They lies to you about the what they will charge on phone just to have you at their branch for eye exam or lens replacement. They will over charge you on the name of some undefined promotions. When you will ask for the refund they will process it for months. Unprofessional staff.
After reading the other great reviews... Im not sure what else I can say. David and Liz was very professional and attentive. I will not go to another store after my experience at My Eyelab. A special thanks to David, he is what customer is all about! Im ruff with my glasses, Ill be back soon. Keep up the great work!

Terrific Place!! Had an eye exam and ordered two pair of glasses. Taylor, Karla, and David were very friendly, incredibly helpful, and often time entertaining. (May have been something to do with me being a goofball for most of the visit) My Eyelab seems to be relatively new and of a very modern concept. Go by, get glasses or contacts, you wont be disappointed!!
What a great and wonderful center. Took my daughter for an eye test there and we had a mind blowing experience. Karla and Taylor were so warm and friendly. Gave us a rock bottom offer for two stand out frames. Its a place to always refer friends and family to! A waoh experience; compared to none. Thumbs up guys....u rock!
If I could give them zero stars I would. When I visited the store to get glasses for my kids I was offered appealing discounts some were not applied (just an upsell) I was promised free extras which were charged to my card.....I even ended up paying for the so called free eye exam for both children even after buying the glasses there. Good luck with their store representative she was of no help the best she could offer was for me to come back to the store the next day to talk to the regional manager....this was after I called the store.... the phone got disconnected mid phone call...I drove to the store and was asked to return the next day. Buyer beware and look at your receipt carefully BEFORE you leave the store.
You cannot go wrong getting your glasses from here! Best experience ever buying glasses - and I do mean ever! Just got them for my wife, coming back in a few weeks to get mine going! Cant wait! David, Karla and Taylor are fantastic!

Service was okay but I had to come in twice to get my glasses and the second time I did not get the glasses I choose and was highly upset.

Crooks, I paid for 2 pairs as the AD says, on going to pick up the set after a little over a week, they told me I paid for 1. I paid $235 for 1 pair? Even after being told if I buy 2 the second is free,I don’t recommend EYELAB to anyone

Horrible customer service. Was given the run around after they had my money for a contact order. Was on hold over 45 minutes to cancel order and request refund. After DMing them on Twitter did I get a response.
