The care and service provided at this place is beyond spectacular. Especially during the pandemic, the clinic ensures that its staff follow all the standard protocols and takes extra measures to keep the place sanitary. This made my mom and I feel very safe during the whole appointment process. Furthermore, they were really helpful in accommodating my needs in terms of which glasses I wanted based on many factors: size, style, price, etc. The staff would go out of their way to show many glasses that are suited to my preferences, so that I could be certain about making the right choice. Another thing I have noticed that other optometry clinics do not do is the services provided after the appointment. I noticed that there was a blue glare on my glasses, so went I told the staff about this issue, they fixed the glare on my lens at no cost! Not only that, they also fixed my frame and gave additional cleaning materials, which I already had before, too. The staff is very understanding and take care of any needs at no cost after getting the glasses, which is why this clinic stands out to me in terms of their customer service. This is why I am leaving a five star rating and I recommend others to go to this clinic as well.

The ladies at Texas State Optical have been extremely kind and helpful! This is my first time having to get glasses so it’s a whole new world to me, and they’ve definitely made the transition an easy one for me, from assisting in frame style for my face to adjustments! Highly recommend TSO and this specific location.

Came into this location about 11:10-11:15am 12/30/20. Besides the young lady who greeted me at the door. I received no assistance. She brought out a tray left it on the same table as where they check temperature(instead of leaving it right where the glasses are) and that was it. So here I am in the store for more than 15 minutes and not one person (3 female workers) asked if I needed assistance even with two glasses in my hand. I left the glasses on tray and left. Poor customer service. Maybe I’m not the right look for them to help. That I’ve discovered going to multiple locations of TSO, service sucks.

Also enjoy the servers I get at their location. I’ve have bought two pairs of glasses. The doctor is sweet great staff.

Great Doctor Iris Miao, O.D.

It was Saturday 4:30 and my glasses were lost! I tried several places which have a Lab on site and not one place had the lenses I needed. I went into TSO Richmond Aliana and they had exactly what I needed. At 5:50 pm I walked out with new glasses and could see perfectly AND the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this location with easy access and location to restaurants and other shops. THEY DID A great JOB !!!! THANK YOU.

I went today morning for my annual eye exam. The address in the website takes you 12 minutes away from the actual clinic where as pulling the address on map tajes you to right place. This made me drive 20 minutes extra and on arrival at clinic the staff mentioned they are aware of this issue and have been struggling with this for long( so how about knowing your patients in advance over phone or website note for how to get right address?) Anyways, as I entered, my temperature was taken and I was waiting for my appointment. I saw two employees coming in after me and no one took their temperatures! None of the employees wore gloves. Not even Doctor. Looking at all this I am not sure how good the sanitization is. I was scared. While I was done, the clinic directly started selling me glasses, instead asking if I want to. Also, after paying, the exam fee the prescription was not offered until I asked. The whole process was too slow and slaggy. I reached my home( 4 minutes of drive) at 10:10 am. When my appointment was at 8:45 am. I will definitely not recommend this clinic

Great office! We are actually transferring from another TSO, whom we loved, because this one is a lot closer to home. I was a little hesitant about the transfer but was very pleasantly surprised. Megan helped the transition go nice and smooth, she spoke to our insurance, helped us pick out new frames and ordered contacts... and throughout the whole process was very sweet and friendly. She made us feel very welcomed.

Excellent and expedient care. A wide range of glasses to choose from and technology at its finest. Sam, Meghan and Dr Miao were all very patient with my children and were detailed in explanation of benefits. There was such an inviting, warm, family environment. I’m actually excited to go back. Great location and staff!

There is an amazing selection of frames available for you to choose from. I was so satisfied with my appointment I even scheduled my son to come here too! Awesome place! The staff is very friendly and the instrumentation they use is pretty high tech. It was a very educational experience as well, since the optometrist took the time to explain my exam including the pictures they took of my optic nerve. Recommended!

He helped pick my glasses and was very patient. They had plenty of glasses to pick from. I will definitely use them again and recommend to everyone.
