Do not go here if you are looking for a ceiling fan! Every single one has either bent or broken blades due to the poor way in which they are displayed. Ceiling fans should not be set on their blades period because even a slight change in the way they are set will cause the fan to wobble. This store not only sets them on their blades, but even straddles them by their blades. What they do is about the worst way to store a fan. They need to either remove the blades or hang them to display them properly.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, we loved the selection of furniture and rugs. Everything was in decent condition. Overall way more fun than I expected. The staff really made it thought, Its so nice to interact with happy staff
This store is my go to store for anything house renovation related!! They also usually always have seasonal holiday decor including outdoor rugs and related flags for the yard that I change out each season and for a fraction of the cost of retail stores! The staff is always present and overly helpful! Overall they offer a GREAT shopping experience with professionalism and good humor! I would recommend stopping in often as they have something for everyone including fun items for my children EVERYTIME we go! Shopping made easy and for a GREAT CAUSE!!! It’s a WIN WIN SITUATION!!!Thanks for being consistently AWESOME guys!!!Dana and Richie!!!
Always a bargain somewhere in there, whether you need it or not,, hehehe.
Very good deals on some things.
Anyone else think this place is overpriced for what they are? I do.
Prices are ridiculously high! Some items, all beat-up, can be found new for the same or even lower prices. Quite disappointed. Unless you are looking for something very specific and/or in promotion at the store - you will walk out of there empty handed!
ReStore is a treasure hunt. You never know what you will find. If you need something, stop by.
Super friendly staff! A big treasure hunt is to be found here. Everything you might need for a house can be found here, and prices are very reasonable. Furniture selection is on the small side, but stock is constantly changing so you just have to have patience to find what youre looking for.
If youre looking for something specific. Then its probably not the right place. But If you have some leeway with design or size you can get a great deal. I got a brand new insulated Pella window in the box for $23....hard to beat.
This is a great place to get recycled or even new building products. It can be kind of a scavenger hunt since the inventory changes. If you are trying to match existing hardware its worth a look. They have a decent size warehouse behind the retail area with lots of building supplies. They will also come to your home if you have working appliances or building materials and pick them up for free. If you have questions about what they will take a quick phone call gets you an answer. You can save big bucks, keep good items out of the landfill and most importantly help out those less fortunate.
Great place to find some good stuff, slightly used.
We found amazing pieces there inexpensively and happy to support the community buying through then versus a big box store. If you forget a tape measurer, like we did, they will lend you one while they hold on to your phone. They also helped us find someone to help us pick up the furniture and deliver it to us since they dont deliver.
Recently purchased a “new” older home. This place has been a godsend. Light fixtures, ceiling fans, locks for doors, brass switch plates, flooring, paint. I love, love this place!!
I enjoy searching around looking at what treasure I can find at the Restore. If I have an art project of some kind I go here to see if they have something I can use. Ive bought appliances from there and for the money so far it has been a deal.
There is always a productive experience to be had when shopping for your home and garden supplies at the habitat for humanity and at bargain prices. Not only you you get the items you need, but youll be giving something back to your community with your purchase. This reviewer has purchased ceiling fans, a built-in microwave oven, and a dishwasher among dozens of other choice items for my home from The Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity. A recommended stop for any do-it-yourself-er in need of an appliance or supplies!
Good diy material at a good price. Be careful somethings price at buying it new.
Nice zoo and the zip lines were fun a bit pricey. If you are under 5 feet you will have a tough time on the top step of the ladders, which seem a bit dangeroust. Also you are on your own after a bit of instructions which I find a bit dangerous.
When you hit this place at the right time you can get some really great finds. I would have given a 5 star rating if the pricing were a bit more consistent and reasonable on certain items.
Needs a loading dock. We had to load in front of the store. Nice staff. Great prices. Slightly used or scratch and dent household items.
Really inexpensive nails and fasteners. Occasionally I get good prices on 2x4s. Never know what you might find.
I love it here! Great prices and wonderful customer service. The staff has become my second family.
Manager is disaster
I LOVE this place. It is always clean and the staff is very nice & helpful. The best store to shop at.
This is great place to get bargain on lighting, cabinets, furniture, rugs, sliding glass doors, shutters, solid wood doors, shutters, wood trim, tools, and much, much more while helping such a good cause! Every visit brings new stuff to browse through!
Great little spot to visit for anyone interested in getting anything for their home. Awesome prices and always a unique assortment of product. Did I mention it was for a good cause???#ScottMRVA #ScottMcNuttReviewsRVA
They are doing a lot of remodeling and moving things around right now but their selection is still good and the prices cant be beat.
Drove 1.5 hours to get here. Even called and confirmed hours prior. Show up at 2:30 on a Monday and theyre closed. Super.Edit:Thank you for responding. Now ill know to check before returning.I called the store number, and the automated msg stated the hours and address.
Nice folks working there. Friendly and helpful. Clean store.
A great place to get fair pricing on used home parts, such as door knobs, cabinet handles, light fixtures, appliances, wood, and occasionally tools, etc. A treasure trove for home owners, handymen, or craftsmen.
I am still using things that I purchased at this location from the day you opened, It’s more rewarding to me because I am able to pass it on through my purchases to help someone else.
We go often . Have gotten some great deals. Although sometimes we wonder how things are priced....
Its ok but wish there was more home interiors. The selection is pretty much the same every time you go in there.
I bought a freaking 4’ x 8’ antique mirror for $1. That’s insane. I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES. I said WHAT
Always great finds, I try to visit once a wk
Hidden gem. Will always recommend this place. I also encourage volunteering when you can.
Lots of items to choose from at great prices. Great customer service.
Do you want great deals?..
Has alittle bit of everything in the store at very reasonable prices.
Great prices on a variety of home improvement and random stuff.
Terrible place. Made 2 attempts to donate some nice stuff from a remodel job and was turned away because I was too early, and then 10 minutes too late. Employees said they would take it, manager said no. Now it goes in the landfill. She didnt even want to see it.
Its a thrift store for home repair - used windows, sinks, tiles, light fixtures, paint, cabinets, etc. What they have in stock depends on recent donations, but what they do have is usually a great deal.
We were there to donate items. Great place to donate as it helps those less fortunate as well as bargin hunters in our city.
All kinds of great finds and prices that wont break your budget. Always a first stop for home improvements.
Great place to get things for diy projects.
Great place for finding inexpensive bulding supplies and home goods.
The staff is very helpful and we found a refrigerator for $150 that works perfectly. I always check here for equipment and furniture first.
Friendly staff, great selection, good prices.
Fun place to look for home items.
Had everything i need and more. Such a great store and a better cause.
Great finds in here; better than I expected.
Not many workers there, plenty of volunteers. Hard to find what your looking for, but good prices.
Worth checking often if you are involved in a home building, or improvement project
Nicely organized, good prices. Selection varies.
A great place to rehab your space!
Needs new management. Needs to actively solicit for donations
Cheap building materials, used household. Parking off the street.
