Bought a carne asada burrito and was really disappointed. It should be called rice burrito since that was what it had most.

First time hearing that backpacks are not allowed in the grocery store. Security or a manager with no mask on asked me to leave it on the floor (yes, just at the white tile floor they have) by the entrance (the rule that was made up by him at the exact moment). Had to leave the store because backpack had some photo equipment that is too valuable to be left at the floor by the entrance. I was walking by and didn’t have a car with me to leave it over there. Tried to talk and explain, didn’t help.

I went into the store their machines were down and could only use cash. It was not the fault of anyone. But i was so looking forward to buying the carnitas family meal. I will have to go back.

Not a good selection here.Money orders need to be paid in cash only- they should update that.They didn’t have cheese last time I wentThe lady working the register said she couldn’t delete an item off at check out… okay lucky for me, I had someone with me to pay it. But what if I didn’t? She would have had to cancel the whole transaction and started over and left out that one item…?!I come here because it’s close. The prices are ridiculous here though. If you can make it to stater bros, go there instead.

I went to pick up a western Union money transfer and it went well fast and easy6/25/2021. I just sent money through the maxi foods Western Union it was quick an hassle free the young lady who works western Union is very efficient and made the transaction very pleasant. its the place to do wire transfers

Overall good, the bread is fresh and the carnitas not bad either. The security guard made me put my bag in a random place dough, i guess i dont look as innocent as i am LOL.

Meat department are not very happy to help customers, they dont greet or say anything else needed. But overall the store tellers are very nice and store is very organized with a lot of variety of daily things we need.

Good place to buy fresh items. Parking lot need to be better taken care of cause sometimes they are trashy. At times homeless are hanging around the parking area.

Clean, fast service food deli, meh ; reasonable prices.

Staff is so nice here. The butchers/deli crew are so helpful and polite. The hot food and to-go ceviche here is excellent.

Tamales are always terrible, hard and no taste I bought 4 chicharrones meat hard and burned $8.00 dollars tripas are always fresh people are friendly. It was horrible no air conditioning all of their dairy freezers were out the produce was awful all of the ice cream was not even Frozen they need to do a overhaul of all their freezers and just about everything

Nasty old meat you can tell they don’t throw away meat if it’s old they just put it in sauce. This is the 3rd time I have had a problem with them.

Went in to buy beer and ice. Man, this store has everything. It was hard to pull away from the deli section. So much to choose from. I will stop by again whenever I am on the area.

On 5-30-18 between 6:20-6:40 my bike was stolen from the bike rack... It was locked up and when I came out the bike and chain was gone. . My suggestion is lock your up bike closer to the front doors where it can be seen by other costumers and the employees @ Maxi Foods store.. And I gladly appreciate Google maps for popping up with the option to give my Outlook on my visit @ maxi foods just the night before,Thank You... And please beware!!!! Also thanks to the security guards @ maxis and the convenience store by the 🍩 donut shop 🙏God bless you all...

We try the deli department, the food was delicious and a decent price. Plenty of food and the cashier was friendly and professional. Thinking about moving out here. Hhahaha

Kitchen selection was limited but maybe due to covid. Store has good selection of fruit, veggies and fresh herbs. Meat cost was a lil more than previous visits but most store butcher prices have increased. Great local store with plenty of ethnic/mexican based foods.

I bought each of their caldos and they are bomb are super bomb! Theres one with chicharon and it was fire. Then I also bought some pupusas and those were bomb too!

An Average Supermarket Catering largely to the surrounding Latino Community. Product pricing is very reasonable and not abused. While some fare is cultural and excellent, the business itself I would deem as generic. Security is in place for a large demographic of petty thievery. This being said, the business is and has been longstanding in the community and is definitely needed as a local benefit. It is a good distance to any other large market. Parking is cramped, but as opposed to other areas, such as Mission Grove, the people here seem to value their vehicles n dont run willy nilly over each other.Recap - a needed and oft-times not supported enough community entity that needs some improvements.

They have you bag your own groceries with the bag they provide. I seen the next register bag the groceries then left it on the counter for the person to put in the basket

I called and a lady carnicera said there was suadero ready to buy and cut. Then I get there and carnicero said there is suadero but frozen. No pos waow! Ponganse de acuerdo. So since I had already did the drive because MaxiFoods is far to me....I bought Frozen Suadero. Will remove this post if the wait was worth it. 😔

Its been a regular stop for my essentials for quite some time. Good service and good food.

Their vegetables and fruits always look nice and fresh and they always have amazing deals on them.

I was only in there for a few minutes. Right inside the entrance is their hot, ready to serve food. The food looked fresh. I wish Id had more time to check it out. This store has the right idea. I realize other stores use this as a marketing strategy, but for some reason the appeal here was better. I will go back when I have more time.

I love the small town feel of a market. Variety is on a smaller scale but that is ok. I will be back to taste the food as the people waiting for for the tacos made for a long line and I was in a hurry that day. The people who I asked said the food is great!

Ay mi amor maxi Foods!!! 💖 👽 bomb hot ready tortas that are still steaming ! ... and 3x 5$ monsters, 99¢ coconut water with pulp and 1.99 premade ham tortas and also if youre on-the-run they have tortas with a bag of chips and coke already made to go. I would demand a Maxi Foods in every City if you do not have one in your City!!!

I love handmade corn tortillas but Maxi Foods and Rio Ranch and many other Mexican markets tortillas make me look old. Im not sure what it is. Many corn products are contaminated and it shows up in the body in different ways. Even organic corn products are contaminated. That is the main reason I would shop here, so I havent been back.

I went to buy a cake and have my nieces name put on it and I know there was almost $200 on my card get when we went through the line or my niece went through line to buy the birthday cake and all the stuff that goes with it they declined my card I went outside called the card couple hundred dollars on it

They have a good selection of produce . Certain days of the week has specific savings. They have hot food, Pan dulce, Check cashing Money Gram service in-store. Bakery they have good selection of cakes for special days, Flan, jello. Meat department can use improvement. Cleanliness is a 7 . Employees are friendly fast check out service 👍

This store has been an on and off, quick trip for quick dinner needs. But i have yet to see these lines go fast. The cashier visits w/spanish regulars, way too long, its annoying. Pay attention to all paying customers!

Possibly the best prices on produce. The packaged foods are 2-3 times more expensive than anywhere else. Understaffed, and theres a blue pajama gang member always hanging out.

Stay away. This place is so dirty. Although they have the traditional foods that my family loves, it is not well kept up. I saw flies in the breads display and complained about it and felt ignored.

OMG is this place DIRTY!! I saw maggots in the Fruit area and said something and they said ok well get to it but didnt go immediately!! It smells like dead fish all the time and the girl preparing food doesnt wear gloves.

Meat department has definitely lost there touch over the years
