I have worked in the Auto business for a long time and have heard every story in the book about people and/or woman being taken advantage of in the service department. Today, Greg Platz reassured me to have a little faith in humanity. My wife was driving down I-75 and the windshield wipers and lights went out while driving (it was pouring). She made it to Shelton and Greg helped her out. He said a rodent chewed through the wires and installation of the truck. He said it would probably need a new wiper monitor. After further inspection, the little guy (rodent) pulled it clean out. Greg and three mechanics made sure it was in secure. SOME shady individuals would have still said it needed a motor BUT Greg was honest and sent her on her way. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for taking care of her. You the real MVP Greg and Mechanics! Get you a raise.

Jeanne was so great to work with and understood what I was looking for in my lease and was very patient as I test drove cars and found the best deal. I sprung the purchase on her after test driving the vehicle at another dealership (Shelton wasn’t open that day) and she was able to get the paperwork and car ready within a few hours. I made an appointment for an oil change a week in advance and provided all my information. When I arrived they could not locate my data. After 1 hour I checked back and found my vehicle had not even been started. What was the point of the appointment ? I would never recommend this dealership. It was my first visit and I will not be back.
Sandra was awesome and got us all set up for the purchase of the vehicle without me even needing to be at the dealership. I was there for about 30 minutes to sign some paperwork and out the door I went with my new truck. It was super quick and easy and she is the one that made that all possible

Towed a GMC van to your facility. Van had some type of electrical problem. Assumed a GMC dealership would be a good place to have it repaired. HA HAVan sat in your lot for 13 days and nothing significant done.Had to tow it to another repair location.I probably wont be back.
I made an appointment for what should have been a 1/2 hour job. I showed up prior to the set time and it took 20 minutes to finally get the paperwork done so I could leave the car. Since I’m a regular customer AND the work to be done was well documented AND the part was in stock, I fail to see why the paperwork wasn’t already prepared and I could just hand them the keys. The car wasn’t ready until the next day, and I get impression that if I hadn’t called and complained I might still be waiting for it.The car had previously been scheduled for the week before and had to be rescheduled due to a technician not coming in. I understand “stuff happens” and appreciate being notified. However, when the car was finally dropped off, I expected it to be ready in a couple of hours, instead of being inconvenienced for more than a day.Greg and Marq were both friendly and courteous, but I came away with the distinct impression that my car was an inconvenience that had be “fit in” among more important customers. If you guys knew you wouldn’t have the resources to fix my vehicle in a timely manner you could have rescheduled; that would have been better than how things turned out.Until now, I’ve been fairly happy with my experiences with Shelton’s service department, but this experience reminded me of the “bad old days” of trying to get a car fixed. By the way, I am only assuming the service was done correctly, since I haven’t had the opportunity verify the fix worked.
I came for scheduled maintenance and the cost was more than I expected. The salesman was able to help me use my points to bring the cost way down. I ended up paying less than I expected.
Marc Cortopassi worked very hard to get my automobile repaired in one day. I am so grateful for his caring and professionalism. He is the reason I am loyal to Shelton Buick. Brian, the auto mechanic also did a great job of analyzing the problem and doing a great repair. I am very pleased with the service I received.

Brought recently leased car in for issue with tailgate. No loaner car or shuttle service provided. Returned the next day to pick it up and was apparently reset. Sales person and I could not get it to work. Mechanic came out and got it working. Not working again today...appears to be intermittent.
Marc is amazing. Hes really, really committed to solve customer complaints. Not to mention that hes fun and really nice to chat.

I would have preferred I received an explanation on sanitizing process to be preformed on my vehicle and associated charges before they happened. Not sure how many people (shouldnt have been more than 1-2) were involved in service I was scheduled for that needed to be in cab. I dont see restaurants charging cleaning fees for tables of diners that are eating in there businesses. Exterior of my vehicle was detailed prior to arrival and returned washed but left covered with water (not dried). I didnt charge for drying that definitely took longer than the sanitizing process .You all are better than this.

I love how Im treated like royalty when I come to the dealership for any services. The prices for oil changes/tire rotation are affordable and Im able to get early morning appointments and do my computer work in the customer lounge.

The service was OK, but they forgot my wheel lock and I have to go back to pick it up plus they stepped on my car door sill without wiping it off. The SD card for the navigation and the speed limit still doesnt work.

This happened 2 months ago, not sure why my initial review disappeared.I was looking for an Acadia and got a quotation over email by a sales lady, and went over to test drive and close the deal the next day. After test drive, I was happy with the car and about to sign contract, but the sales lady went back to a room and had me waiting for almost half an hour before she came out with her manager. Surprisingly the manager told me the certificate for the month were all used and I could not lease the car with the agreed price. I have to pay 50 dollars more per month. Shocked and cannot believe this could happen to an authorised dealer, I immediately left but wasted half day there.

Originally it was an ok buying experience, but when I got home I realized my wiring harness for my trailer system was not hooked up (dealer prep option). So I ended up taking it to another dealership to get hooked up (150 bucks)so I went back to Shelton and waited almost 2 hours for the service manager, just to have him tell me he would mail me a check since it should have been hooked up when I bought the truck.He was short with me and rude even after waiting all that time, I still have yet to receive that check weeks later.
This was one of the most satisfying car purchases we have ever made. Every person we interacted with was knowledgeable, courteous, and time efficient. They went out of their way to make sure every detail was handled to our liking. They made our experience so pleasant that though we dont live very close to the dealership, we are likely going back for any service we may need in the future.
Jake Boyce was one of the first car sales professionals who did what they said they were going to do. I have bought and leased vehicles from each of the big 3 auto manufacturers and I have to give credit where credit is due. He is the very first person in new car sales who called me when he said he was going to, followed up internally on my behalf and reported back when he said he was going to and didnt over promise!I have a rule, I will never call a person twice or chase a sales professional to spend my money. If you are in the market for a new vehicle then you need to call Steven McCarrick at Shelton Buick GMC. My wife and I were in looking for an Acadia and were shopping around to get the best value and wanted to do most of the work to find a deal via email and phone as to minimize the number of trips to various dealers and to minimize our risk and exposure to Covid. Steven was completely understanding of that and never once pressured us to come in to talk pricing or view their stock. The same cannot be said about many of the other dealers in the area that we reached out. Once Steven knew what we were looking for exactly he was quick to find us a few models and send us the info we needed to find the vehicle on their website, get us pricing options, and walked us through the process of what we needed to send him in advance to get the paperwork setup. And then on the day we came in to turn our current lease and get the new Acadia, Steven was waiting at the door, had the car pulled up and washed, and made sure the Finance Manager was ready with our paperwork on his desk as well. We were in and out in 30 minutes and driving away in an amazing vehicle. Again, I can’t say enough good things about Steven McCarrick and the entire team at Shelton Buick GMC and how welcoming they were, how quickly they responded to any of our questions, how easy they made this whole process, and how they genuinely appreciated our business. Definitely 5 Stars!

Brought in Yukon on a Tuesday night. Vehicle was not looked at until late Thursday afternoon. I had to call for updates. Part was not available until Monday. Car was not test driven until late Monday afternoon. Additional work required after test drive. Did not receive a call back on Monday and car was not ready until Tuesday afternoon.

I have used the OnStar App on my phone to setup the appointment for an Oil Change and Tire rotation, so I have got an email and txt message confirming the appointment was successfully scheduled. When I have showed up to the Dealer (15 min earlier) the Service Technician did not had my appointment on the system, however they were able to provide the service. Anyway, I had to wait almost 2 hours to get my vehicle back. Their excuse was they have broke a wheel stud and they had to replace it. When I left, the outside rear mirrors were intentionally folded forward, not rearward like it suppose to be folded to avoid damages!!! l did not noticed this until I was driving so I have to stop to fix this issue. It seems someone was upset with my Vehicle. Last time I am scheduling any service at this Dealer. I am not sure if I will get my next Lease here.

If you want service, go somewhere else. If you want to be over-charged, this is your place.Worst experience ever. Car went in because the check engine light was on and after spending nearly $800 to fix it, the check engine light was STILL on. The service rep then went out sick (we also were exposed to covid) and we were clearly forgotten for the better part of the next 4 days. When we finally got someone to help us, we still got the runaround. Finally, after a week, we were given an additional quote to fix our car ($3300). Considering the experience we were having, we decided to get a second opinion, and shopped that quote.. we got estimates elsewhere that were less than half the quote provided by Shelton ($1550.)Moral of the story: go here to throw your money away.

Clearly they dont need a business. I never recieved any call back from them for my inquiery. I visited them and the sales person is not at all interested in selling vehiles. He quoted me a vehicle $7000 expensive than anywhere elese. I called him later to clarify and he said it is what it is. He did not even bother to investigate what was going on. I dont want to but anything from them and get stuck.

Inquired online about a vehicle in their inventory. Was contacted by a salesperson and after discussing pricing via email I asked him to call me so I could submit a credit app and discuss shipping the vehicle. I never heard back and ended up purchasing elsewhere. I guess my purchase wasn’t worth their time.
Very happy with my purchase from the fine folks at Shelton. I first encountered Jeanne M. through a series of email conversations. She arranged test drives of the two vehicles I was interested in. I went home after the test drive to think about my decision and totally appreciated the fact that I was not pressured in any way. My sales consultant Steven and the sales manager, Bill, worked with me as far as pricing and also accommodated a few other requests I made. I liked the personalities of everyone I encountered and would highly recommend this team of professionals.

I was told that there was an extension on the complimentary oil change due to Covid 19. I leased my car the end of March on 2020. I was told I had one year to use the free oil change when I leased the vehicle. When I arrived, I was promptly told that the oil change expired in November 2020, I attempted to explain what I was told when leasing and again when making the appointment but was interrupted and told to use my points as I had plenty. It was rude and dismissive. I then was handed off to another associated to help me get signed in who, without even looking at me, said Ill have to help after I am done with this Ill add that there were no other customers in the bay at this time. I was also having trouble with the app and trying to load points for the oil change (that was supposed to have been complimentary) when I asked for some assistance, I was prompted to ask another employee for help. I was then pointed in the direction of the waiting room and told to wait. I was there for 3.5 hours without so much of an update, for an oil change. I was not told it was going to take that long. When they finally told me my car was finished, it was another associate who told me he was told to finish me up because the other two were too busy. I was taken to the cashier, where she looked at the paper work and told the man that it wasnt done correctly, the points had not been added. He then took it back, told me to wait and disappeared for another ten minutes. Overall? the experience was terrible, I will not be coming back or recommending this place.
