I am only giving this dealership a 5 star review because I highly recommend that anyone who walks in there should talk to Aaron. He was responsive, helpful, and all around a great salesman. I had a bad experience dealing with this dealership before running into Aaron so this review is being made solely on his behalf.

Difficult to achieve contact with service department. Once I did vehicle drop off, the service was pleasant and relatively timely. However the recall fix executed did not solve the stalling issues on the vehicle, and thus I must start this cycle again.

My wife’s father is a Chrysler retiree, and we have been coming to Rochester Hills Chrysler since we moved here 15 years ago. This year we finally followed our neighbor’s advice, went a few miles out of our way, and ordered our new Wrangler from Parkway Chrysler. SO worth the extra 15-minute drive, to receive an amazing new car purchase experience at Parkway! Rochester service has always been a mess, but not quite as totally painful as trying to attract attention to purchase new cars. Tom at Parkway was available, well-informed, and made everything easy for us. Will definitely go there for any future service too. We recommend looking at Rochester Chrysler in your rear-view mirror!

Please avoid making a mistake by going anywhere else for your new car. Rochester Hills Chrysler Jeep Ram will take better care of you than any one of those shady other places you drive by. The salesman Aaron is completely transparent in the way he conducts his business and instead of trying to upsell you he will just give you advice on what’s best for you in your specific situation even if it costs him a loss in profits, he truly wants you to walk out the building feeling happy and confident in your decision! Darin in financing was also awesome and extremely informative and patient, letting you know what your options are without being pushy or sneaky like other insurance salesmen. Hard working, efficient, and friendly it’s no competition this place is where you go to purchase (no doubt everyone there is great, but I would ask for Aaron!)

I drive to Rochester Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram from Saginaw almost every single time I need help or service. Over the summer, I received my new tires from here, my oil changes/tire rotations, and any other trips have always been pleasant. When I needed help getting access to car documents and more information on filing claims for tire insurance, Kyle Cawley, helped me! In fact, anything I needed, he helped me every single time. My car has been making a bogging sound. I took it to this dealership in hope that they would know exactly whats wrong and fix it.... well I spent $2000 for solenoids and wires. They told me that it would fix the bogging sound my makes pretty regularly, as soon as I got to the dealership, pierce the service guy told me it may still make that sound.... as soon as I pullout my check engine light comes back on and the solenoid code was right back where it was and it didnt make any difference. Once I brought it back to have them fix what I paid $2000 for. The only thing they could offer to help was $100 an hr for them to just look at it. And pierce even tried to say that THEY NEVER EVEN DID THE SOLENOID WIRES AND WANTED TO DO THEM, YOU K OW, WHAT I ALREADY PAID FOR. So I eventually ended up talking to pierces manager mary and she was no help either as she thought my situation was funny because she was literally laughing at me on the phone at one point. This place has wasted a lot of my time, money, and patience with getting my car fixed. Scott is the name of the mechanic that worked on my car. This issue was not resolved I would recommend keeping any paperwork you get from here

It was time to turn in my lease and found that inventory was low at all the dealerships. Decided to try a different dealership at Rochester Hills. Found myself so fortunate to connect with Carrie Atkinson. Carrie was so helpful in ordering my new jeep. Got me everything I asked for. Jeep came in within weeks in plenty of time before my lease ended. She even personally washed my vehicle before I picked it up. 5 stars to her!!

I just had the most awful customer service experience with Tralene Barnett in the body shop. I came in confused as to where I should go and she snarkily told me that I needed to be patient. I hadn’t even said anything yet. The lights were dim and I didn’t think anyone was in the shop. She then told me I needed to go to the service department, so I did. They then told me I needed to go back to the body shop for the work that I needed. When I returned to the body shop, she looked at me with complete annoyance. She looked at my car. It needs a new bumper. She then asked me if I wanted a new fender. I’ll be honest… I am not a car person. I really wasn’t sure what that was and what would need to be done. She let out the longest, most exasperated sigh before explaining to me what it was. She then told me that I wouldn’t be able to get in until late October, which is fine. I asked if she had recommendations as to other shops in the area and in a very sarcastic tone, she told me that she didn’t live here and had no idea. I would not have minded waiting until the end of October, but this body shop will not be getting my business. I understand being short staffed. I understand that frustration. However, it is not the customer’s fault and a little decorum goes along way…

This is my 1st lease and I thought I did an ok job on it. After trying few dealerships, finally I landed the one that seemed to be the best option. I traded in my car and got a decent value for it, made a deal with them and numbers looked great. I have to say that my 1st salesman did not call me back, so I had to go and find out another one. The second one was doing a great job and then left the company while trying to to get me a truck. It was until the third salesman that I understand he picked up the slag of the other two and did an amazing job to get me almost what I wanted in 24 hrs marked. However, when I went to get my oil change (which I negotiated to have for free for the 3 year lease contract), I was told that it wasn’t in my contract, I was very disappointed that somehow that got lost on the back and forth of the negotiations. I ended up paying for a package which I have no issue paying for it. The issue I have with that is that it was agreed upon the contract and wasn’t respected and I was under the impression I was being taking care of when in reality I wasn’t. For all the trouble I went through prior the third salesman, you will think things will be exactly as they were talked. Don’t get me wrong, I think it was an honest mistake and won’t take away the credit for the gigantic effort Mike did (my third salesman) in getting my a lease in a 24 hour time. I ended up sacrificing few features but I had to work with him just like he did with me, given the circumstances. Not the greatest experience.

While there was about an hour service time from arrival for an unscheduled oil change, the waiting area was clean comfortable and a newspaper present to pass the time (crossword puzzle).Write-up person was polite and efficient. He also reviewed the completed oil change / inspection results.

For buying a certified jeep, this was not the best experience. My salesman was very nice and worked to get me what I wanted but the results of the certification was unsatisfactory. I left the sale w my change oil light on(??), which I checked the oil and it didnt seem as it had just been changed, and also my 2 front tires are so low that they need to be changed right away.. I am not happy that after spending $25k on a CERTIFIED vehicle, I now have to spend another $800 on new tires. I also am having troubles receiving the checklist about the certification to check if tires were properly inspected? Overall wouldnt return for a used car.

Made an online appointment for an oil change last week. In the process of making the appointment I was asked if I needed a shuttle ride. Get there 20 minutes before my appointment time, was told its a 2 hour wait, that its first come first served and that they dont take appointments. Really?!? I then ask when the shuttle runs. They say it doesnt. This is the third time Ive taken a vehicle there, HAVING AN APPOINTMENT, just to be told that the appointments dont mean anything and theyll get to it when they get to it.

Came here because another dealership told me i had to wait up to 3 months on a laramie, so I went to this Rochester Dealership and was the best thing i did. My amazing salesperson Carrie got me one of her incoming rams in not even a week after looking so long for it, her customer service is top notch! Highly recommend Rochester Hills Chrysler Jeep, and in particular my salesperson, Steve Kowalski. Given the shortage of cars at this time, I finally found a car here with the features/packages/color combo I wanted after working with another dealership for months. I went there a couple weeks ago about buying a new Jeep after mine was totaled out… left with the news that it would be 8-12 weeks for a new one because of the chip shortage. Thanks to Matt Domke for being the best salesman I have ever met… I have never been to a dealership where I have felt so welcomed and everyone was so kind! My issue was not fixed? I went to dealership for squeaking breaks. It was recommended to get new brakes and rotors. I did. I drove for a over a week and put over 1,000 miles and still had the squeaking. I went back to the dealership and they said they didnt notice anything and to comeback. I still have squeaking brakes. The level of professionalism and customer focus was there. I know during the pandemic reality things were things put in place to help business continue. However I am customer that paid $$$ and no resolution to my concerns with my vehicle. I will give credit that majority of the staff was nice and polite just no attention to detail or customer experience.

Tim Pazdriora was excellent, since there were no cars available was able to place a customer order and kept me informed about the status of the order. Jeep was ready in six weeks, and all firmware updates and recalls were taken care of before delivery. Closing paperwork was all computerized no papers to sign and was out the door in less than 30 minutes

Sorting changed. I deleted my glowing review for this one instead. I’ve called and messaged several times to schedule service. I either get sent to voice mail or hung up on and nobody calls me back. I’m just trying to schedule my car for warranty repair, which you think they’d be all over since they have no cars to sell.I think it’s time to take my small fleet of Chrysler vehicles elsewhere.

This facility is not only maskless, but when I asked certain members of the sale’s team to put on a mask because I had to bring my unvaccinated children into the facility in order to sign paper work, they refused. They had zero masks at the front desk for employees. Feel how you will about masks, but if a customer politely request you wear one for the sake of her children, it is common decency to comply. I recommend staying away—this speaks to their character.

Brought our 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 6.7 Cummings Turbo truck in for service in April due to the message service Def light came on. They said they replaced a sensor. Brought the truck back in last week because the same light came back on. They informed me original warranty had expired and I told them I had an extended warranty through Protective and gave them the contract number. Pierce called me back and said Protective would cover it because I hadn’t done the maintenance on the truck. I asked him what maintenance was I supposed to do? I keep the def levels filled and do oil changes. I told him the truck is suppose to do an automatic regen and it only has 29,000 miles on it. He said he would do a regen which would cost 240.00. Since the truck would go into a limp mode in 90 miles I agree to pay it. On Friday he called and said the truck was fixed and I could pick it up. When my daughter got there they charged me 350.00 and it had to be paid before we could take the truck and they said to call Pierce the next day. We went about 7 miles and the service def light came back on. Called Pierce Saturday morning and told him and I also told him that Cummins has a 5 year-50,000 mile warranty on the emission system. He told me he was going to refund my money and to take my truck somewhere else. The light is back on and again is on the limp mode countdown. So they will sell these trucks but don’t want to service them! I wouldn’t recommend this dealership for service to anyone. Gloria Dillon

Repairs to my car were very good and I am happy. What I didnt like was I dont feel my 10% discount on parts and labor was honored. My car is under an extended power train warranty and I have to pay a deductible. That I get and the 10% doesnt apply. However, I still had over $1000 to pay. I was told the 10% would only apply to parts and labor for spark plugs, which amounted to a $9 discount. That doesnt seem right to me. I was told that was all the boss would allow.Today, I received a call from RHCJD and was given a refund to make up the 10% discount. I was pleasently surprised and grateful. Thank you Rochester Hills Jeep on making things right!

Alex in the repairs department was friendly, transparent, and efficient with my repair on my brand new jeep Cherokee limited anniversary edition. He was throughout with the explanation on what need to be done. He gave me a time line and also offered assistance with a rental vehicle option. The repair was finished in a quarter of the time quoted. Just another reason I will only buy jeep. He deserves a promotion!

Just picked up a vehicle from this location. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.Dealerships/auto repair industry has a bad reputation, and this place reinforces it.Long story short:Dropped vehicle off for repair (10/9/2021), paid a deductible for the repair, later found out that only one of the two issues that we mentioned when dropping off the vehicle were fixed. Dropped vehicle off again, they fixed the 2nd issue, charged us again because they forgot to write down the 2nd issue that needed repaired the first time around... Highly recommend you record your conversations with this place if you have any.Short story long:Brought our vehicle here after a terrible experience at a previous Jeep dealership. After a friendly conversation with Pierce (sp?), we were made to feel that our experience would have been better this time around at this dealership.Our vehicle was having intermittent starting issues, as well as loud noises from the pulley assembly. I have documented proof (dated 10/8/2021) that we were aware of the starting issue via text conversations with a contact at another local shop. Local shop didnt have availability so we chose this dealer.Dropped the vehicle off late in the day(10/9), the staff were friendly and thorough. Had a conversation about the pulley noise, and the starting issue. Distinctly remember showing Pierce the icon on the dash that was showing up when it wouldnt start (had it saved on my phone from conversation mentioned above with the local shop). He asked about the noise it was making on startup (if any) - i informed him that it was whirring as if it was trying to start, but not clicking to turn over. Quick diagnosis that it wasnt the battery, yadda yadda.Received the car back - I couldnt pick it up my self, and arranged for a family member to do so. pulley noise was gone, happily paid our insurance deductible. Thought all was well. Went to start the car the next day and it wouldnt start. Same EXACT behavior as before.Returned the car to the dealership, they repaired it a second time. Called us to inform the car was ready to be picked up, told us we needed to pay the deductible again because the starting issue wasnt noted on the paperwork the first time around (!!!!).Immediately called our insurance company, stated what had happened, and were told that it happens more often that wed think and that the dealer SHOULD work with us to cover their mistake.Called the dealership to try to reason with them... Pierce answered friendly as always. Before even bringing up our displeasure with having to pay the deductible a 2nd time, Pierce tried to spin the story that the starting issue may have been caused by strain in the components that were replaced in the first repair. Obviously aware of where i was going with the discussion...I then explained thoroughly that the starting issue was NOT recently realized, that it was the MAIN reason we brought the vehicle in for repair the first time around, and mentioned the documented conversation with the local shop, reiterated some of the conversation i distinctly remember having with him on the shop floor, and he said man i talk to one hundred people/day he understandably didnt remember the details).After I mentioned that I had a paper trail of proof that we were aware of the issue 24h ahead of our first dropoff, reiterated the conversation i shared with hmi (Pierce) the day we dropped it off, he said hed check with management - seemed to be on our side at this time.Management said they physical needed proof that we we stated the issue existed during the first dropoff and wouldnt work with us. How are we supposed to provide documentation of a verbal conversation that happened?Put yourself in our position; whats more likely - that WE forgot to mention this issue that we have proof we were aware of, or that THEY forgot to write this down on the paperwork during a last minute drop off minutes before they closed on a weekend?Had no choice but to pay for their mistake...AVOID THIS PLACE.

I take my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee to the Rochester Jeep Dealership for all my warranty repair. I honestly can say that Steve the service advisor is Awesome! On the other hand some of the techs that work there are not the greatest and that goes along with the body shop. I needed a hinge for my drivers side door and was told the hinge would have to be painted. They ordered the wrong hinge to start and never even painted it after they said it needed to be painted. Now I have one painted and one not. Steve told me he was waiting on the body shop to give him an answer which obviously never happened. I had the coolant flushed paid $160 only to have to bring it back because now I had a leak due to the thermostat housing leaking. Once again, Steve had it taken care of ASAP! Never had an issue until I brought it in feeling I needed to service the coolant since it’s been awhile. Rochester should love the fact that I chose them to service my vehicle and not go anywhere else but at the same time I bring it in and don’t get the job completely finished without me having to call back and once again take time off work due to their lack of NOT being thorough in diagnosing or following through on what they tell the customer.

I typically only use the dealership when dealing with warranty repairs and recalls, which theyve handled adequately. The reason for the 2-star review is that *every* time I take one of my vehicles to this dealer for any kind of warranty work, within about a week my check engine light comes on, and I need additional service (for which I go elsewhere). Its just enough that they can claim theyre not responsible and the problem is just coincidence. However, this is not an isolated instance. It happens every time. In the past year alone, Ive had three consecutive visits result in a check engine light on two different vehicles within a week of service at this specific dealership. I dont know if its malice or incompetence, but every warranty visit here ends up costing me about $150-200 in unrelated repairs afterward, usually some kind of sensor or valve that needs to be replaced. The cost of the secondary repairs is always low enough that its not worth the effort to try and prove that the dealership caused the problem.

I live in Florida and was searching for a white pre-owned Jeep Trailhawk with less than 10k miles. Searched here locally and could not find one in my price range. Did search on cars.com and found it at Rochester Hills. Called dealership and Dave answered and was incredible from start to finish. Not being able to test drive the vehicle since we were out of state was a little scary. Dave made it as if we were right there. In fact, this was one of the smoothest and most transparent car deals we have done + we didn’t have to sit there all day. Price of Jeep was well below market value even with the shipping. Dave also was easy to work with. Normally you ask for OTD price and get a lot of spin, but it was just tax tag and title. I can go on. Thanks again Dave for making this work we love our Jeep!

The power steering locked up on my 2020 Ram 1500. It took 5 days before the dealership looked at my truck. The steering rack and pinion needed to be replaced. Steve for his part did the best he could with a number of circumstances against him. The availability of parts (it took over one week to get parts), the craftsmanship of the technician (front end is not aligned and the vehicle now squeaks while steering) both of which will require another service. Overall, it took 3 weeks to diagnose and to fix the truck to a minimum point of drivablity. during which communication was poor. I hope this is an anomoly in the Rochester Hills dealership as well as the Ram product. I am still looking to FCA for possible reimbursement on rented vehicle costs.

Needed the DPF cleared from 2016 Ram 1500, they did it but didnt tell me why it got filled up to 100% without the vehicle doing the Regen itself. When I asked they told me you just have to bring it in every so often to the dealership to get that performed WRONG. I told him thats not accurate and he held to his story. I wont be back.

I was fortunate enough to have a couple of friends collectively recommend Mike Akrawi. I probably would not have ended up leasing a car altogether. I have never driven a Jeep before and didn’t know which model was the right one for me. Mike was very knowledgeable and patient when he showed me the options that were available. He was very easy going and made the experience as stress free as possible. Some salesman I’ve dealt with in the past tend to put pressure on you to make decisions right away but that wasn’t the case with my experience at this dealership. Communication was always professional and made in a timely manner whenever I had to reach out. I cannot recommend this dealership and him enough. He also has a couple guys working under him that were wonderful and made sure I drove off the lot knowing exactly how to use all the bells and whistles on my new car. I went and bought a used truck from here and the salesman Dave Howell was very helpful and easy to talk to. What really impressed me was when I made a mistake with the payment and this dealership went ahead and called my bank and got me new financing quickly and I got the same loan that my bank originally gave me. Where to start? I had two issues, which I brought to them while the car was under warranty.One was noise from the differential. Each time they said they could not hear it. Then COVID came and time passed before I got back to the matter. Now, the car, which has only one fourth of the warranted miles, was beyond the time portion of the warranty. This time, they had no trouble hearing the noise and recommended a very expensive replacement of the differential at full cost to me.The other was a flaw in the navigation system that would occasionally lose its bearings and send an error message. This had also been presented during the warranty period but they said they could never reproduce the error. But, they found the error now that the car was out of warranty. They recommended an expensive replacement of the radio/nav unit, again at full cost to me.I got Chrysler corporate involved, who brokered a deal with me to cover half of the differential and I would pay nothing for the radio/nav. The dealer reneged.I finally had to pay full price for the differential, and Chrysler covered the radio/nav. Both problems were in service bulletins, and contained in numerous owner blogs.The day after I got the car home, it threw warning lights indicating the ABS and Electronic Control System were inoperative. Back to the dealer, who this time charged for another expensive repair (replace entire front wheel hub and both front wheel speed sensors).This Hellcat was purchased for more than $60k just six years ago and has just north of 25k miles and was never raced or driven hard.I cannot recommend that a anyone ever get repairs from this dealership.

Had an oil leak on my 2016 ram v6. Was leaking from the oil filter housing/ cooling unit. Called around asking if this might be a recall as it seems to be a popular issue regarding an oil leak. (Not a recall) After calling 3 dealerships to get labor rates, (the prices were different) I called Rochester Hills Chrysler to get a price on their labor. I talked to Steve Rankel, he took the time to see if this problem would still be under warranty- it was.Rochester Hills is about 45 minutes away from me- I actually have dealerships minutes away from me- but I kind of felt that any of the local dealerships could have extended the courteously to take the moments to see if there was a chance this problem may have been still under warranty.So naturally I felt the most comfortable to carry out having my vehicle serviced with Rochester Hills. I set up all arrangements with Steve, and can say everything went exactly as it was discussed- I couldn’t have asked for better service. I’m not one to write a review in general (unless it’s that bad)Yet my experience with them is worth taking the time to recommend them as it was spot on.Thank you Steve & all involved repairing my truck
