Great team, I’ve spoken with multiple employees at this location and every time I feel like I’ve learned something from them. Helped me with my first AR build and helped me understand the platform and what I really should spend my money on. I even brought my gun in after it was completed and they looked it over for me to make sure it was functioning properly. Can’t wait to go back.

Sold me a broken rifle recommend by one of their staff, had it in their shop multiple times, given multiple different stories, finally gets shipped back to the manufacturer. Before it goes back I ask about my $300 worth of aftermarket parts on the rifle, I’m assured they’ll be removed and stored at the shop. I then ask for updates and warranty info and agree to have it sent back for repair. Couple weeks go by no updates or warranty info even though I reach out multiple times and am told they will send it and get an update. Finally I go to the shop to get the warranty info, I’m told the rifle was shipped and received (never updated me), I then ask for my parts to be returned so I can keep them at my house for safekeeping. Their staff looks at each other confused and can’t find my parts, they then informed me they were sent back with the rifle, the complete opposite of what they told me originally and never once though to update or confirm it was ok with me to send them back. I later found out that they didn’t even take an inventory of the parts before sending them back with the rifle, now they would have zero clue if anything was missing when the rifle was returned. I get in touch with the owner who assures me he will figure it out and have his team work on it. A week goes by, no updates. I email the owner again and he tells me they will have their guy reach out to manufacturer. I wait two more days, no update. I call the shop and am told they never got one but would get one and call me back that day. Wait all day and get no phone call. The next day I call again and am told this time that the manufacturer isn’t responding to their attempts at contact and they don’t know what to do. At this point they’ve refused to give me a refund multiple times, so they basically are saying they have no answers and no remedies for an issue between their shop and the manufacturer they do business with. I wait a few days and decide to reach out to the manufacturer directly to see if I can get a response. I emailed them at 9 in the morning and within 15 minutes the manufacturer had replied and begun investigating the situation. Within an hour the manufacturers customer service team had called me, briefed me, and sent me pictures of the rifle and parts. This is all after Allstar claimed they couldn’t get in contact with them. I find it very hard to believe that Allstar who sells a bunch of their firearms couldn’t get in touch with them but a complete stranger contacting them through their website contact link was able to get in touch almost immediately. The rifle is sent back to Allstar and of course is missing one of my parts, they agree to order me a new one, I leave and go to the range to test it. Same exact issue happens again, so I call Allstar and their response it that it’s between me and the manufacturer now.Luckily the manufacturer has been great in their handling of the situation but beware Allstar has horrible customer service and business ethics.

I honestly can’t shop anywhere else. Allstar Tactical has the most knowledgeable and friendly staff I have ever dealt with. Their products are second to none. They sell other brands as well and if there is an issue with it they will troubleshoot it and if it needs to go back to the manufacturer they will do that. Most places won’t troubleshoot it and will just send it back to the manufacturer. These guys are so friendly even if you’re a noob to guns. They will make you feel comfortable, not rushed and walk you through everything. The owner is a very down to earth guy and actually cares about his staff, customers, and products. I really can’t say enough good things about them.

I purchased two hand guns and had one completely modified for competition. I am very happy with the work it is exactly what was explained and quoted. Any changes that were needed the owner (Mike) contacted me personally before applying them The manager (Mark 5) was in contact with updates on unexpected delays with some of the parts that I wanted.

I have worked with the crew over at Allstar since they opened. Multiple purchases of varying degrees later and i couldnt speak more highly of Mike and his crew over there. They are always willing to take time to ensure that you are getting exactly what you want without making you feel pressured into anything. This place is the best! I can’t say enough good things about them. I’ve been a customer for about 10 years and I won’t shop anywhere else. Whether you’re an expert, familiar with guns, or a complete noob everyone will feel right at home. The staff are true allstars and the owner is a salt of the earth type of guy. If I moved across the country I would still buy everything from them and have it shipped.

Mike is a true innovator in the firearm industry. I had him do some custom work on a R700 and it turned out great and was very reasonably priced and turned out great. If your looking for a great recoil compensator definitely get Mikes very own designed and produced Hexcon 1, its the best comp Ive ever used on a sporting rifle hands down!

Its taken me a while to get to writing this but I just wanted to say how great these guys are. I wanted to get a shotgun for my son who is a small kid. We went to several shops and no one wanted to bother helping us. I decided on a whim to stop into Allstar Tactical and these guys couldnt do enough for us. They took the time to measure my son and adjust the stock on a gun to make sure we were getting the proper fit. Not only did they want my business, they were willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. I will definitely be coming back when Im in the market for another firearm. Met Mike some time ago and decided to stop in and check things out. Small local gun shop with knowledgeable staff. Since I first visited over a year ago Ive been back to have guns transferred for a reasonable fee, bought ammo, and my friend bought a couple pistols. I also bought a couple speed loaders as well. Highly recommended if you want an alternative to those big box stores.

I was looking for a 2 stage trigger. I called them and they told me they had what I was looking for. Drove an Hr there to have the trigger put in. They did it while I waited. They were very friendly and very easy to deal with. Great customer service. Would definitely go back and deal with them even if it is an Hr drive.

Ill echo what was said before: Staffed seemed indifferent when demonstrating handguns for me to purchase. Im an experienced gun owner so it wasnt like I was belaboring them with stupid questions. Ive built 2 ARs from scratch. One of them is 100% Allstar Tactical parts. I even had some laser engraving done to it. It is hands down my favorite rifle of the two. I recently dropped off a rifle to get a part replaced. It was almost 2 weeks ago. I called at the beginning of this week and was told it would be done by the end of the week. I called today and was told it hasnt even been looked at yet. The only reason I didnt give a one star review was because they were very helpful when I put in a FFl transfer for a gun I won online at auction. Maybe the reason my gun hasnt been worked on yet is because its only a .22lr and not a AR.Edit: owner was very helpful and staff got it done

Buyer beware. This place is not what it seems. They claim to be a manufacturer but only him and his wife run the place. They give you a deadline and then keep pushing the date of completion back because they cant get products. When you go to their showroom you arrive at a house and are taken to an upstairs bedroom that has been converted to their showroom, it is pitiful to say the least. When asked why my product hasnt been delivered on time and they have failed to meet multiple deadlines theyve given they keep saying that manufacturing dates have been pushed back. How about you quit selling stuff you dont have? Mike pretends to be an expert but clearly is not, you can tell he doesnt know what he is talking about. Deal with them once, shame on them. If I ever deal with them again, shame on me. Dont make the mistake I did. Give your business to a real company.

Never been to their stores, but I bought from them at the rochester gun show at the dome. The guys at the table were swamped with people asking a billion questions but they made sure everyone got their questions answered and then some. Ended up buying an AKM from them. I got through to someone this morning, was told the gunsmiths werent in and Id get a call back with an update on where my firearm was in its process, and if there was any major change to expect on timeframe. Totally understandable.Called after 4, when I was told the gunsmith would be in. No answer. Called a half dozen more times before close, and no answer. Put on the hold music, and it times out and hangs up after a few minutes.Love the store, love the staff. I understand that its busy and they talk to customers in store. But please, answer the phone even if just to ask for a callback number when you finish with your customer.Edit: Notified its a hardware issue. Plus, they respond well to messenger on their facebook page. Added a star. Thanks guys!

Went there to buy my first home a couple mths ago they were so help full and great was in and out with no problem go back to them again

I pulled into the parking lot with a flat tire and Andy from Allstar Tactical was just arriving to work. He instantly approached me and was friendly enough to assist with installing my spare tire. I then decided to take the time to check out what was in the shop. Andy and Jake had excellent customer service skills and made me feel welcome. They turned a bad day into a good day. I didn’t expect anything different coming from an employee that takes the time to help a stranger with a flat tire. Within 30 minutes, I bought a pistol and this will be my go to shop from now on! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Just had another great experience at Allstar Tactical. As a veteran I look for several things when shopping for firearms and firearm accessories. The quality is excellent A+ and thats why Ive been a customer since about 2010. Allstar Tactical is a custom firearm shop but they can also get you any firearm you want, from pistol to rifle to shotgun. I cant see myself buying from anywhere else.Its also not your typical gun shop. What I mean by that is the staff Glenn & Mike are not condescending, rude, or try to rush you even if you say you are just looking or are new to firearms. I can attest to this because I have been in the shop several times when customers have come in and witnessed/observed how great that is. Its an amazing atmosphere.The prices are great, discount for military and police.One thing that bothers me about people who say negative things about them being slow is they must remember when building a custom firearm to mil spec it takes a little time. Please be patient you will be very pleased with the outcome. I just built 2 from them an AR15 & AR10 took just over 3 weeks. I think thats fast because most everything I wanted was not in stock because I had to have it a certain way.Next build with them is a 300 win mag bolt action. The ones they build are badass.

Wow, Ive been in the shop probably between 4-6 times. Ive been treated respectfully every time, did a transfer for me and it went through fine. Prices are good on used handguns, and the selection is good too.Glenn is super knowledgeable and great to deal with customer service wise, as is anyone else Ive dealt with there.I had a small gunsmith issue with a diy project, called yesterday and asked if they could help. Was told sure bring it on in, I asked what time would be better for him and he said tomorrow anytime. I brought it in and even though there were 4-5 other customers in store I was helped right upon arrival. Glenn diagnosed problem, suggested fix, I said go for it and 10 min later I was walking out the door with my problem fixed and the price was 100% fair.Would recommend this business to anyone, also I appreciate that they are filling a gap in Monroe county, as far as the tactical speciality and focus.What I would imagine the bad reviews are: haters and people intolerant of a vet getting a business up and running. As a vet myself I give these guys 5 stars all day. Keep up the good work!
