Never going back. I bought my 2015 535dx here but service is horrible now. Rude and patronizing. The two things I brought it in for were not fixed. I was told they were. I was charged for their repair. Service advisor was a total jerk. After I paid, I waited for the car to be brought up front. When it was the guy said he didnt think I had paid and wouldnt give me the keys.

We are traveling around Oregon from Arizona. A brake pads service warning came up on the dash. We called BMW of Salem and talked to service manager Adam about the cars issue. Adam was excellent and we scheduled an appointment for service. Our car was taken in at our scheduled appointment and service was finished in the estimated time. Car was washed looking good and ready to go. The bill was right on the estimate too. We had an excellent experience and are able to continue our adventures safely thanks to the helpful, knowledgeable people at BMW of Salem Oregon.
I have done business with BMW of Salem for over 20 years. The service department has always been excellent. Recently a computer glitch did not register my service appointment and the shop was very busy. They went out of their way to make room for my vehicle and got the oil changed and the car washed in under an hour. Very prompt and courteous service!

The service department is very friendly and helpful. They make sure all cost are known before any work is done and if something changes they check before doing anything unexpected. Ive had bad luck with many other service centers in the past and am extremely happy I found somewhere I can trust to do the job right the first time.

Bought a red 2014 Jeep Wrangler from here in June for $25k! The purchasing experience was quick and easy, the salesperson and finance person didn’t feel like they were too pushy at all. They even offered me a significant amount for my trade in (beating carmax by $1k!)The Jeep has been fun and trouble free, for the most part. Unfortunately 3ish months after purchase, all of the tires started showing signs of dry rot (lots of cracking on the sidewalls and tread) and will have to be replaced to the tune of $1300+. Turns out they looked near new but are from 2017. For how much they emphasized that they did all the maintenance it needed, some newer tires would have been appreciated.
As always I was treated with the utmost respect. Given a full estimate of costs and everything was done on time

BMW of Salem was fantastic to work with! Firstly, they offered me $5,000 more for my trade in than another dealership I had gone to and I felt that I was getting a fair deal and not getting low balled like the other place, so I traded in my 2017 Mustang Ecoboost Premium (that I still absolutely loved) for a 2018 BMW X2. So I get home after buying the BMW and play around with it long enough to realize that it didn’t have any navigation or way to connect my phone for navigation. A test drive didn’t allow me to dig into all the features it was apparently missing. I was so upset so I decided to come back in the next morning and the manager Sean was super kind and understanding! The first thing he said was “don’t worry we will get you a car you love” and it eased my mind instantly! Then we worked with Ryan and he was super fun to talk to and ended up working with us and his team to get me an even better 2018 BMW X2 that I am absolutely obsessed with! It has every amazing feature I could ever want and made me feel better about leaving my beloved mustang with them for this car. We also worked with Jim the first day to get my fiancé a car he loved as well and Jim was also very understanding of my situation with the first BMW and responded to my emails in a very timely manner even late at night. He wasn’t there the next day to help me with my situation but was still great to work with the day before. Jeffrey and Miranda were great to sign with as well at the end. First of all, I want to say thank you MacKenzie Thompson service writer for BMW of Salem, she went the extra 10 miles to make sure that I was informed every step of the way, that all my questions were answered, that I was comfortable, also I was quoted a price for the repairs to my BMW, and they didnt charge me that quote, it was way cheaper and saved me some money I was not expecting to save. Not only was my car fixed, it was inspected, cleaned, and brought to me before I knew it was done. BMW of Salem is the best service center I have been to in a very long time. I appreciate you all very much. I live in Klamath Falls Oregon and will drive to Salem anytime I need something done or diagnosed on my car, just for there customer service, prompt service, and professionalism. Took my 2015 329d in over the holiday. The estimate for repairs was around $7,000. My chin hit the floor. Thankfully, some of the parts weren’t available in time so I kept to just those repairs they could get to in my short visit. This cost about $3,000.A few days later, when I returned home, I took the car to my local shop where he had me out the door for about $700 with the car running beautifully. Turns out many of the recommended repairs weren’t necessary. For instance, instead of replacing both front wheel bearings, I only needed one. It solved the problem. I think they probably do good work, they just wanted to do too much of it that wasn’t needed. Trust is a big deal when they take your car in for repairs. I don’t know a whole lot about cars so I’m an easy target. Bullseye! I won’t return.Gouged over the holidays! Wow!
I almost canceled my lifetime oil change with Lithia after multiple issues I had with Greg Bell at VW of Salem. After talking to a coworker, I decided to give Lithias BMW service department a try. I’m so glad I did! They were great, everything I would expect from a service department. They were organized, communicated and addressed my concerns. They performed the work they were charging me for… Completely different experience than I received at VW! I will definitely use BMW service for my future services. I went for an oil change alomg with some concerns for the techs to advise. My service advisor Kenzie addressed my concerns verbatim and they were able to pinpoint the issues. My BMW has some miles on it and along with those miles come the wear and tear of fasteners, partitions, body impressions and weathered lights. I can not express my gratitude enough with how thorough and knowledgeable everyone is. Not sure where to start. I love this place. I just purchased my 3rd BMW from this location and I don’t think I’ll ever go elsewhere. I had a nightmare of an experience buying a Porsche and ran away from that company as fast as I could. I have been a BMW owner for 8 years and one thing I will say is BMW backs their cars and their warranties. The service is top notch and they don’t fight you on little issues. These little things are huge! Daisy in sales was so sweet. She had the car I wanted waiting for me and warmed up ready for the test drive when I arrived. She entertained my friend by showing her new X3 models while I was in financing. Jeff in finance is amazing. So personable, intelligent, knowledgeable about the cars and efficient. I had amazing conversations with both of the people I worked with. I just wanted to show my appreciation and thank you for all your hard work and for selling me a car during the ice storm. Thank you thank you thank you. I am so happy and the car is PERFECT. I cried tears of joy when I drove off the lot. This past year hasn’t been easy for me and being sold a Lemon from Porsche didn’t make it any better. So thank you BMW of Salem. I appreciate all of you and thank you for being an honest and reputable dealer. I will recommend this business 1000x.

This review is for the service department. I took my old 99 BMW in for an airbag recall. The airbag light was on when I took the car in and I was hoping they would fix it. After they replaced the airbag, they gave me an estimate of what the car needed for service but said nothing about the recall fix. When I got in the car to leave, I noticed the airbag light was still on and I asked them why. The service guy said there were other errors but didnt tell me what they were. They wanted $115 to read the codes (they did this already when they replaced the recalled airbag). The estimate to fix my car was almost $25,000.00!!! The best thing about this place is the coffee machine. I would go back for that vanilla latte.

We Love her & named her Speaker Box 2

I had been looking for a BMW 540i for quite some time and the other day I found one at Salem BMW. I showed up in jeans and a tshirt just coming off of shift work in my old Subaru thinking I would be ignored. But to my surprise Craig one of the sales reps greeted me, I told him I wanted to test drive the 2018 540i, no questions asked he let me take it for a test drive. Of course the car was in immaculate condition looking brand new, I couldn’t find a single thing wrong with it. After the test drive Craig ran through some numbers with me, not pressuring me at all. He was very patient with me because I had to move some money around and had to contact my bank which took forever. I figured out my down payment and the loan was official in no time at all. This was my first BMW and the process was painless. Thanks Salem BMW!!! I am now a Beamer owner!!!! The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because they would not budge on the price:). I highly recommend Salem BMW.
Took my car in for service. Engine light was on due to programming issues and still was on when I got it back even thou I paid for that to be fixed. I live about 30 miles from the dealership so it was sort of an inconvenience as I had to arrange transportation back and forth 2x.Customer service was great just the work didnt get done right the first time
I am so happy with my new ride! Ames helped me purchase my SUV. He listened to what I wanted, stayed within my said budget, and even helped me look up cars from OTHER dealerships! LOL. Not to mention, I messaged him on his day off after purchase with questions and messaged back with answers after mowing his lawn. (THAT is service) Most importantly, he was able to find the perfect fit so I could stop looking at CarGurus all day, every day and get back to my life! I have been looking at cars for months and went to both both BMW shops in the Portland area and Salem was worth the drive.Tony, the manager was great as well and he purchased my old car for what I could have sold it privately (if I was lucky and minus the work of cleaning it). I recently had a service done here and it was my first experience at the dealer. The staff was pleasant from being greeted by the young man at the service center and then working with Kenzie. I was even able to have my car cleaned and it looked great afterwards. During the service they updated me via phone and made it very easy to return and pick up my car and not have to wait long. They even explained the service and intervals so I had a better understanding. I will definitely return and had a great experience. If I could rate them a 0 out of 5 stars I would,would not recommend going to, they dont care about your car and they over price(well it is a BMW), I get my car back and there is some of the trim that is broken, some of the clamps that hold some of the wires down, those are broke too
Both Danielle and Daniel did a great job of communicating the time the service would take and offered to assist with some other things that needed to be done such as registration for next year, pricing window tint and powder coating wheels. They both followed up as needed and made the experience as painless as possible.

He was great at keeping me informed about my vehicle by texting me, calling and down to sending me a video of my vehicle. I couldnt ask for a better salesman. The service was BETTER than expected. I enjoyed working with Kenzie Thompson, Service Advisor. I mentioned that I had a bothersome little noise in my car when I drove over bumps. Kenzie suggested that a technician named Nick ride along with me to see if he could isolate the noise. We drove over many bumps, even railroad tracks and didnt hear the noise. Nick thought it might be the seatbelt buckle making the noise.With no passenger on-board, the seat belt buckle is free to hit the door when the car hits a bump in the road. The solution, fasten the seat belt at all times, even when theres no passenger. Problem solved.

The first sales personnel we spoke to at BMW Salem wasted our time when we attempted to purchase a used vehicle. We experienced the typical dealership run-around and prideful manipulation. Our requests were very reasonable and we were awkwardly pushed away from purchasing a vehicle. This experience was caused by one salesmen poorly handling the situation. On the other hand, Daisy was an amazingly concise and thorough representative. We may end up purchasing here despite our initial frustrations. Ask for Daisy if you come here!

Tim and the crew were great. Professional and timely.The dealership is comfortable.My issue is that they allowed customers to wear their facemask under their chin or hanging from their ear. They have a policy but do not enforce it.

They even went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I were compensated after an employee error led to a really unfortunate situation for us and our car but in the end they made it right and then some. We bought a lightly used dodge van from BMW of Salem. Even though it isnt what they typically try to sell the salesman TJ was awesome. No pressure but knowledgeable. He took the time to show us everything and then gave us all the time and space we needed in order for us to figure out if it was right for our family. When we decided to buy the car, the paperwork was quick and easy. In and out of the dealership in 2 hours. Half that time was test driving and checking the car out! Absolutely the best experience we have ever had at a dealership. They even filled the tank and detailed the car while we were signing. Ill buy from BMW of Salem before anywhere else now.

Salesman was a snake, attempted to cheat my mother on her trade in. Car blue-booked for between $5000-$6000 trade in value. He kept claiming he was doing her a favor by offering as much as $4000 for it. Then refused to give her keys back to her and continued to harass her about signing papers for a new vehicle. We wont be going back, worst car shopping experience weve ever had.
