I was in search for a truck for quite some time and I finally found this truck at Stadium. Nick was so helpful beyond belief. I was skeptical as I was making this purchase online and out of state. I asked for the carfax and nick went way out of his way to test drive and film it for me! He even went and took a picture of any little paint defect! Between the phone call to taking delivery of the truck, Nick has been an open, honest, trustworthy, resourceful, and outright genuine. If you plan on buying a car, I suggest Stadium GM and ask for nick!
Reasonable service pricing and quick.
BUYER BEWARE: i recently purchased a used 2011 dodge avenger from stadium gm for $5,900. I was just informed after taking it into a dodge dealership that there are around $1500 worth of repairs that need done! This does not include replacing the dented rim i was never told about before purchasing. These repairs include new tires, an air filter, a new window switch, new regulator, and most importantly an oil filter housing. Apparently this thing has a major oil leak i was also not informed of. The oil filter housing is over $500 to replace! Upon test driving the vehicle i was informed that a check engine light was on and that they scanned it and it came up as a gas cap. They did provide me with a new gas cap. I also want to state that i did sign an as is agreement before purchasing so im not fully upset that there is so many issues i knew the risk i took but what i am upset about is not being informed of the above mentioned issues. The other reason for the 1 star rating is the front driver tire had the wires coming through which is a major safety issue. This along with all the other tires having almost no tread and needing to be replaced. That front tire was ready to blow! I drive my 3 year old girls in this car thank goodness that was brought to our attention before it blew out on the freeway or something! So apparently no safety check was performed. So beware before purchasing a used vehicle here. After my experience i dont believe this dealer can be trusted.
I’d give even less stars if I could. We came in with our 3 year old twin toddlers and unknowingly left in an unsafe vehicle. The salesman did not even give us a service order to show everything wrong with the car and when we asked, he lied and said all it needed was a gas cap and a clip on the bumper. Here we are almost $2,000 later and the car still needing work done. In fact, the salesmen specifically told us the tires were ok for now and when I brought it in to my mechanic, they showed us METAL sticking out of the tire indicating it could have blown at any moment. On top of many other issues that are plan as day to any mechanic. When we contacted the dealership, they said there is nothing they are willing to do. Even though they lied to us in the process of buying this car. Unhonest and shady business!
My family purchased a preowned vehicle from Larry McBride. It was the absolute most pleasant car buying experience they ever had! The salesperson went out of his way to make sure he found the right vehicle for their budget and the process was very efficient from beginning to end! My family will purchase all of our Vehicles from Stadium GM from here on out! He also made sure he followed up a couple days later to make sure they didnt have any questions or concerns! It was nice to finally meet a salesman that actually cares for his customers!! Nice job and we appreciate you and Carla!!!!
Complete waste of time!!! Its no wonder theyre the only ones with stock since it seems like they arent interested in actually selling cars. Drove 40mins to get there and definitely wont be making a trip back. Would give Zero stars if I could.(EDITED FOR THE REPLY) It wasnt the price I was willing to pay the 10,000.00 for the car but someone didnt wanna accept the check from my car insurance company. Oh well... the other dealership did and sold me a car in better shape than the one you offered for 4000.00 less. So thank you for saving me money and allowing me to get a better quality car.
Wonder why they only have 3.9 star review. They for sure dont want to sell cars I went there wanted to get out of my lease to get a chevy or gmc suv I wanted to go local nope gave me 100 reasons not to sell me a vehicle and appraised my 2020 ram in perfect condition $6.000 under blue book. All I wanted was something to accommodate my big family.Do your homework on these dealerships they are rude and definitely pick and weed out customers They didnt check my credit didnt even try to at least see if they could help me.
These guys are awesome. I have a lease through the and the leasing process was amazing. I was at the dealership basically to test drive it and then all the paperwork was handled separately and my sales rep delivered it to my house! Fast forward a year and a half and my vehicle needed serviced for some misc lights/warnings on the dash. I showed up on the wrong day for my appointment by accident and they still got me right in and fixed the issue. Every interaction Ive had has been a positive one. Excellent customer service from all departments in this dealership!!!!
Very nice man trying to find me a new car. Very clean water and chips available.
Bought a car from here less than a month ago and same day after I leave the lot I have an airbag warning light. Not not even a month later I have an transmission issue with the vehicle called and left messages I got one call back that I was unable to answer called back left a message and never returned my third call yet but, When you spend 12+k on a car you should be able to expect it to work for more than a month. Now Im stuck with a transmission issue complete BS if you ask me. Hopefully I will get a response soon and they can make this right guess only time will tell but at this point I am very unsatisfied with this situation. Update they have been in contact with me and are willing to help pay for part of the repairs which is some help. So overall it has been helpful to have them pay for part of my repairs wish it was more(still a lot out of pocket) but definitely better than nothing and after finally getting in contact with them they seemed to communicate well with my repair shop and I and definitely tried to help resolve the situation.
I typically dont like shopping for vehicles. It can be a very long stressful experience. But I must confess that my 2 vehicle purchase that I made yesterday at Stadium GM was by far the quickest most enjoyable experience I ever had at a car dealer. And I owe it all to Jaime Bishop. She was very friendly and attentive to my needs. I will make sure that I let my friends and family know that if theyre ever in need of a vehicle their first stop should be at Stadium GM and ask for Jaime.
The guys and gals at Stadium are great! To make a long story short, the turbo went bad in my 15 Buick Encore July 2nd. I was referred to Stadium by an area mechanic who also went above and beyond during my turbo issue. I live in Austintown and for what its worth, will NEVER take our car(s) to Sweeney or Columbiana Buick/GMC due to warranty work not being done correctly and having the issue happen a few months again after said work. Long story short he referred me to the Service manager @Stadium, Kevin Carzoo who treated me great, got my turbo repaired(which was still under powertrain warranty) in a timely manner. He advised me of another minor issue I was aware of but not ready to make the financial commitment to get the work done then. I just took the car back to Kevin and wanted that work done and the failed warranty work done as well. Although no longer under warranty, and this is out of pocket, I knew I could trust him/them to get the work done the right way. Going forward Ill drive out of my way to get my serviced at Stadium.
Awesome experience Bill Barnett was a pleasure do business with.We drove almost 500 miles to pick up the car and would do it again in a heartbeat.
I have had my car serviced at Stadium several times. The employees make it a priority to keep you updated on your repairs and give excellent service. I wouldnt take my vehicle anywhere else! Thanks to Ohios terrible winters, I have also had some repairs done at the body shop. Paul, Jim, and the crew did an amazing job at making my car look new again! If looking to purchase a vehicle or have any type of repairs, I would definitely recommend Stadium GM!
Greeted quickly! Sales person was nice and was straight up with us about the vehicle that we was interested in.
First mistake I came at the end of Day. We were rushed. Told to drive the vehicle a short distance. Which shouldnt matter if Im interested in buying but the salesman Alan Bott said because there closing soon . But nope after purchasing the vehicle made it one block the engine light came on which is the true reason dont drive to far. Was told to bring back of course cant find the problem never got the light to go off which wouldnt pass the aim test. Second they are going to add a Auto Butler which you are in the long run paying for along with a extended warranty that good luck if you think it will ever cover your issues. 3rd mistake read every detail before signing they slick they will add on items that will increase the cost of your vehicle mainly the extended warranty which google the reviews for the warranty most are completely full of it. You do better putting the extra money a month in savings and fix it yourself. 4th they work with this papers everyday so they know those papers back in front read and have them explain every penny whats this cost fo . They get there percentage of profit to add it. they full of it most extended warranty companies compensate the dealership. Theyre all in it together. For you its about a new ride. For then its about profit..... And The BIGGEST MISTAKE WAS EVER SHOPPING HERE! Its all about sales . The light never went out thousands of dollars later and a computer. SHOP ELSEWHERE YOU WERE WARNEDTo management please dont come responding you didnt want to talk when I would call repeatedly to speak with someone. Its your whole business besides the cashier. Everyone else was totally full of it. Sales to Fiance Officer. Always getting a voice mail no return calls ever! I work hard for my cash. Keep the fake response. I should of read reviews before driving so many miles for what I thought was a deal. SCAMMERS. Should be ashamed of yourselves
Why is Bill Barnett (employee of the dealership) posting as a customer and giving a 5 star review?? Pretty fishy, you have been warned!
I would highly recommend this dealer. Great service, great people, a large selection of vehicles in stock and best of all a GREAT DEAL! They deserve 5 stars. I will always buy from Stadium, they have earned my business. Thank you.
Got our problem fixed & had a loaner car for two days. Thank you for taking good care of us.
Best body shop around! Very friendly staff at the body shop, and Paul Schuster is the best in the business! Would recommend whole dealership to anyone!
These guys are TERRIFIC!!!!!! I literally have never walked in to a dealership, and was treated like these guys treat there customers!!! And I am a hard guy to impress. I don’t have a great credit score at all. And not one time did the sales man or finance manager discard me or make me feel less than cause of my credit score. Actually they did the total opposite! They Treated me like I do have a 750 credit score. And also with the most up respect a person can show another person. And they ended up getting me financed. With a real decent APR % and a affordable monthly payment at that. Please don’t waste your time going to other dealerships. I did and then I went here. And it was a waste of time. Go to GMC Superstore. And ask for Scott Henthorn, and tell him About this review. I walked in as a potential customer and walk out a friend!!! Thank you Scott Henthorn!!!! And thank you Kevin Nestor the finance manager. You guys are truly the BEST!!!!
Had my truck serviced. Good job. Comfortable waiting area. Washed my truck even though it was raining. Nice!!
Easiest car buying experience I ever went through and we got a great new car at a great price.
This Was my 3rd car experience from this company and Jordan made it amazing. He got me exactly what I wanted in my xt5, made sure my xt5 was brand new right off the truck. Made sure we were happy with everything including the price. He’s Very upfront and honest, I see myself coming back in the future for my 4th car. 🙂
Excellent Service, Great Selection, Honest & Knowledgeable Staff along with Terrific Prices really do make the drive to Salem worthwhile.
I did not purchase a car but the dealer was very nice no pressure at all. I was only looking at one car and chose not to purchase it. It was an older car with mechanical issues.
I bought a car here in 2016, loved how there was no pressure. So, today April 18,2018, I bought another car. The one in 2016 was for my husband. I highly recommend Jim Hall at Stadium, Salem.
1 week after purchasing a used car from this place it’s in the shop. I’m stuck with a bill for 650.00. Needs new breaks and rotors all the way around.. They should have inspected the car and fixed this before they sold it and told me it was good to go.
UPDATE 08.24.2018 @ 4:30PM: I attempted to provide a deposit to Fred on two (2) Occasions and was ignored. I have the texts saved to confirm this to whoever would like to review them. I also reached out to the upper management so we could discuss this amicably, but no one has responded. The facts are I was ignored because Fred was able to sell the vehicle for more money and could care less about the sale we were negotiating at the time and purposely ignored me so he could do so.You lost one customer out of your questionable deceptive sales tactics & hopefully I am able to get through to a few more to stay away from your dealership so the same thing does not happen to them. Extremely disappointed in Stadium GM, its salespeople and its questionable sales policies. I am certain if your owner was privy to this information, he would have never allowed this to happen.August 24, 2018 @ 7:30AM: Please be advised that I had contacted Stadium GM on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 via an internet inquiry regarding a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer I was interested in. I followed up with a phone call on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 and spoke with Fred Russo, We discussed the vehicle I was inquiring about on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and this morning, with phone calls and texts. I was receiving required information about the vehicle and purchase and was negotiating in good faith. I made an offer on Saturday and said I would give a $1,000.00 deposit on Monday. Fred followed up with a counter-offer Monday morning and I said we could meet in the middle and I was ready to give him a deposit at that point. Fred even texted me the service invoices of work recently completed and texted me letting me know that the two (2) Front tires were recently replaced. After our last correspondence, I did not hear from him for approximately three (3) Hours and when I finally received a response from him, he said he would let me know tomorrow as there was a deal written on the vehicle with a deposit. Needless to say I was shocked, as stated previously I was negotiating in good faith and was going to give him a deposit on the vehicle. I called Fred and spoke to him and was confused on how the vehicle could be sold, when I was working with him. He said he could write an “alternate deal”, whereas if the first deal did not go through, he would contact me letting me know. I told him I was treated poorly regarding this deal, was intentionally ignored and was disappointed in how he handled it.I am truly disheartened in how poorly I was treated by Stadium GM on my attempted purchase of this vehicle. I am taken aback by the treatment of Stadium GM toward their customers, especially when I tried to pay a deposit twice. I feel I was treated unfairly and disrespectful when all I was trying to do was spend my hard earned money on a vehicle I was interested in. I am hoping that Stadium GM does not treat all their customers in this manner and they would do what is needed to earn their customers trust and business back.
Great place down to earth people, sales person Jordan very good guy will go back😎
My 2011 Chevrolet Silverado is now sitting at Diane Sauer Chevrolet after less than 100 miles and two weeks of ownership. Mind you 70 of those miles are from going back and forth from stadium for repairs. It broke down today on the way to the hospital which is an 8 mile trip. They stated it was inspected several times during the sale. I have had problems since day one. This truck only has 52,000 miles on it and has been nothing but a headache. It Has been back at service and many emails and calls with no resolve. My wife and I Stated this was for my small family business, which seems not to matter. The manager in service shouldnt even be alowd to deal with customers on any level. If your a small business like me, thinking your dealing with a business that cares please think again.Update 12-6-18 : still no word from stadium. It is being repaired at diane sauer as we speak. Has several major items wrong with it, besides what they said was ok, which isnt. There isnt any type of caring after the sale. Dont buy cause they dont mind selling their customers headaches.Update 12-7-18 : finally heard from Mr. Barnett yesterday evening. Was supposed to get a call back today. Still waiting on a call back. Recieved an email about the ally warranty adjuster going to inspect the truck at diane sauer. Other than that still no relief from the stress this has caused.Update 2-17-19 still having overheating problems. Been at a dealership again for several days. Buyer beware going through something like this isnt worth it.
We went to look at, and test drive a GMC Acadia, which was offered at a very reasonable price. I read some reviews before we went, and they did throw up some red flags. The vehicle had some major issues that needed immediate attention. We expected that, because of the low price - BUT - it was the salesmans attitude towards us, and his responses (out right lies, in my opinion) to our concerns about the vehicles issues were what really have lead us to shop somewhere OTHER than Stadium. We will go to Laverys in Alliance, Waynesburg Carriage in Waynesburg, or Heubners in Carrollton. Definitely a BUYER BEWARE situation.
Great place to purchase a car.
They wont even call me after I turned in a online application
Mr. Jim Halls is honest and knowledgeable salesman.
Terrible Dealership.
Parts represent told me he couldnt price a couple parts I think they just wanted me to bring my car to them so not happening money is tight as is no thank you and thanks for your help!lol what a joke!
