If you have a hard time getting a hold of them then its recommended you tough it out, Case is worth the time and the money. If you still think cat vs case then Ill make it simple for you. If you own a company and care less about your employees then go with cat, if you care about the longevity of your crew or operator then go with case. Being able to adjust every aspect of the seat and joysticks puts case in its own class of comfort. You get none of that with cat. They only got one star short for corporates necessity of being the middle man.2 stars out of 2 for the quality of machine, but 0 out of 0 stars for customer service. Its like the workers are sleeping out back somewhere, stop calling yourselves the largest Case dealer on the west coast if you dont have anyone to answer a phone.
I just bought a very well used case 580k backhoe from my neighbor. These guys are great and treat me as if I bought it from them. I can go in person, call or email them for parts and service question. Incredibly helpful, suggest other local stores for simple thing. I am new to heavy equipment but these guys I feel have my back and they also now have all my business. Highly recommend them.
If you are machine down and looking for parts fast it wont happen here. Youll be luck to get a call back.
Ive been in business for 32 years and Ive never seen the likes of what just happened. I called Sonrays In Salem on 3 separate occasions over the course of 3 weeks. I left messages and spoke slowly and clearly all 3 times. I told them I was interested in a case loader backhoe they had advertised on the Internet. Finally when I couldnt get them to respond, I drove up to Salem and went to their yard to look for the to case backhoe they had advertised, there was nothing there and I saw several people walking around so they are definitely open. Not sure what to think of them, but I dont think they care all that much about customer service which bothers me even if I bought a new case loader backhoe would I be treated the same way?
I TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH CARLY, I HAVE WORKED WITH BOMAG PARTS SIDE, NOW FOR 5 YEARS, I HAVE FOUND THEM TO BE PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT, AND I THINK IT IS VERY RUDE, TO BASICALLY CALL SOMEONE A THIEF, VERY WRONG, JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING DOES NOT WORK OUT LIKE YOU THINK IT SHOULD, IS NO REASON TO BASH ANYONE, AFTERALL, THEY HAVE TO FOLLOW COMPANY POLICIES,
