I worked with Cassie C. at Image Eyes Optical for two pairs of glasses. I cant recommend her and Image Eyes Optical enough. In my mid 30s and shoping for glasses for the first time ever left me with a lot of questions. Cassie was there every step of the way. She was amazing and following up with me even after my first visit, making sure I was fully aware of the process and understood how my insurance would work. Make sure you got to Image Eyes Optical and ask for Cassie!

However, what may be even better than the top-end brands is the service. Everyone there is always incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I’ve been coming here for years and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my eyes / my glasses. I have a really high prescription with bad astigmatism which makes it extremely difficult to find a pair of glasses that look OK on my face, let alone find ones that actually look good.Image eyes is SO knowledgeable about fitting glasses and style. I love that they tell me straight up what looks good, what looks bad and what my prescription allows for me to have.All of that stuff aside, they only carry glasses at are in-fashion and classy. I always feel at ease knowing that no matter which glasses I buy, they will look high quality and current. On top of that, I know image eyes won’t let me walk out of there without having the best pair for me (they don’t try to sell you just to make a sale, they actually care.)Highly highly recommend.

Love this place for frames. They have the best selection in SLC. Cassie and Leslie provide excellent customer service! Most optical shops just want to make a sale but Cassie and Leslie will spend as much time as is needed with you to find the best frames for your face, and they will be honest with you if something doesn’t fit or look right. You will be happy with your purchase(s) at Image Eyes, and you will get many compliments. I promise! I’m a customer for life.

I love love love this place! They are so very helpful with any needs that you have, whether it’s as simple as answering a question on the phone, adjusting your frames And of course the are very very professional in helping you pick out the frame that is just right for you! Like I said I love love love this place and I would highly recommend it to anyone. They have higher quality frames and they can put new prescriptions in the old frames which makes that very economical for me! I HIGHLY recommend you giving them a try if you haven’t already.❣️

I go to the downtown location, as they accept insurance. I came here to pick up a pursue of glasses, and my experience was terrible.Pros:1. They seemed to have a bigger variety of glasses.2. This location has free parking without need for validation.3. The parking is easy to find and access.Cons:1. The lighting is beyond terrible. There is hardly any natural light, for example.2. The glasses arent as organized as those at the downtown location.3. It appeared as though there were too many glasses on each shelf. There was only one section that seemed to be dedicated to a specific brand.4. The location seemed a little claustrophobic to me.5. The professionalism of the employee I worried with was terrible. She was opening one thing while attempting to socialize with a pair of customers, and it didnt even have to do with my glasses. She didnt attempt to service us until after she completed this two tasks.6. Customers are expected to walk up to a small window space, like a prescription drop off/pick up counter. The counter is as messy as an office cubicle. There are pairs of glasses on multiple shelves, as well as the counter, and things that I would expect to be placed farther away from the window are right in front of us.6. Through the window you could see what looked like a private office.7. Lack of employees and counter to service multiple people.I wouldnt expect any of this from any store that sells glasses.*This review was for the location on 11th, since then they have moved.

Ive now shopped at Image Eyes twice now and both times were exactly how I expect to be treated in a high-end optical shop. They offer tons of unique styles and have the ability to get you exactly what you want. The last time I was in there I was helped out by Cassie, who spent an hour and a half showing me over 100 different frames, slowly narrowing them down and looking up what possible colorways were available in the frames that made the top 10. She was knowledgeable about every brand they carried and even knew about the frames I was wearing when I walked in. It was clear to me while I was in there that everyone who worked there operated at the same high level of customer service. This is the place I recommend anyone looking for unique frames at top tier quality.

These guys are amazing! Yes, the glasses they sell are higher end, and cost a pretty penny. But, if you shop around for the same brands and models, you will see that they are in the same ballpark as similar shops. The real difference here is that their customer service is awesome.I bought a pair of glasses there 4 years ago. Then, I accidentally stepped on them (couldnt see them with my glasses off), and totally mangled them. I went in to buy a new pair of glasses, but brought the pieces of the mangled pair just for the heck of it. They were able to salvage my old glasses, replacing the under the lens wires, the nose pads, new rubber covers for the arms, and miraculously bending the frame back into shape, and didnt charge me a dime! Who the heck does that these days? I dont know how much time it must have taken them. They could have simply told me my glasses were a lost cause, and I would have plopped down another $300-$400 for a new pair. Instead, they fixed my old pair for nothing. THAT is customer service!They are a wonderful, friendly, family-owned business, and have a life-long, loyal customer.

I have been in and out of eyewear stores for over 20 years and this is the most professional establishment I have experienced. The owners Kris and Wayne the have been in business for over 35 years. They take each customers experience very personal. I appreciate their honesty when I am choosing glasses.

Good service, and they did a god job on my very delicate open-bottom frames.I bought up to the better quality lens they sell for scratch resistance, and I have to say 4 years on, theyve been the best lenses Ive ever had. Sometimes that extra costs value is iffy, but that was legit.

Did not like my experience here.Went with my current vision insurance company because they had Image Eyes advertised as one of their “premium” partners and because I really wanted to support a local business.My most wanted feature for my new glasses was the “blue light filtering” lenses. Before I made an appointment I asked the store twice -once over the phone and once through Instagram- if they offered this. Both times I was assured they did.Unfortunately, when I went to get my glasses done, they said that their lab did not work with these types of lenses.Even though I hate to say and include this in my review, one of the reasons I decided to give such a low score is because I feel their customer service felt short of what other reviewers have posted. They didn’t seem to be that friendly at all.Also, they were ready to charge me without even letting me know what I was going to pay for. Maybe it’s because I had high expectations of this place based on reviews and their social media presence but, overall, I feel this place is not as good as some would lead you to believe.

If you can afford a pair here, the service is unsurpassed.

I called to ask about sunglass repair, and was told they could do minor things like replace a screw free of charge. I went in and was met by a very professional associate. The team found a replacement screw, and again confirmed there was no charge. Fantastic experience! I will definitely be going back when I need a pair of glasses.

I had the greatest experience at Image Eyes. I was greeted and felt welcome the minute I walked in the door. I have purchased glasses for over ...well many many years and have never had so much fun. The staff is knoweldgable and so patient as I tried on several pairs....all with the help of Chriss expertise ...to fit the shape of my face and my style. Yes, the glasses are higher end but you wont find any other store with such an incredible selection.....frames like no other.I could go on and on. If you think most eye places are expensive, youve not seen anyting until you visit them. While the customer service is good, they screw you in the end by far overcharging for their service. Will not be ever shopping with them again.

Weve spent an enormous amount of money here over the years, and have generally been happy with the team, until recently, and unfortunately the primary problem was with one of the founders, Wayne. At the end of the day this is a commodity business, and I can purchase frames of the same quality from many different vendors. The only differentiator is service. The team has been fantastic, but I havent worked with Wayne until this past week. He is incredibly condescending, directly countered what I had been told by one of his team members, and attempted to blame Sugarhouse Vision for damaging my Blac carbon fiber frame (microscopic fracture) in a manner that lead to the final break (me swatting at an insect with glasses hung on my shirt, and breaking them in three places). I was told this was a common occurrence, and they had replaced others and that the company, Blac, had solved the problem since I purchased mine 4yrs ago. Wayne countered all of this, and said, Im the owner. The buck stops here, so its what I say.Ill find my frames at one of the many other optical shops here, in SF, NYC or other cities. My wife feels the same. Were out.

Not really that great a selection, but better than most. If you like pricy frames, try here. They will happily sell you just frames, as thats what I did... If you get lenses here, they will cost you about $200 more than Nikon lenses at Sams. If you need a lot of features like Variable, Gradient, Non-Glare, High Index....

I have been buying glasses from Image Eyes for years. I read the last review about how expensive they are and how they screw you in the end. I couldnt disagree more! Yes, these glasses are not for the budget buyer. The frames are the high end designer brands. Trendy titanium frames come at a price! I have bough Lense Crafters glasses before and they were low end frames and the prescription was off. I spend around $800 for photo sensitive blended bifocals. They are so light that I dont even know they are on. I wear them 14+ hours a day and they last years. If I ever have a problem, they fix it, repair it or replace them. They stand behind their product and I wouldnt shop anywhere else. Also, they are amazing at finding the right style to compliment everyones face! Its a family business and I couldnt recommend them more highly! After all, its your EYES and arent they worth the extra $$?

Received excellent service from the staff even though I was not a regular customer. Was greeted very enthusiastically. While on vacation I lost a nosepad from my eyeglasses. They changed both nosepads. I was having trouble adjusting to my new lenses and was trying to decide if I was going to have my insurance company remake my lenses using a different lense manufacturer. They gave me excellent advise. Very knowledgable with current lense technology. I was expecting to pay for their service but they would not accept payment. I would definitely become a regular customer if I lived here.

We have been coming to Image Eyes Optical for more than 20 years. After living in Seattle, San Francisco and New York, it is still our favorite optical shop for the selection and service hands down!
