Great staff, super nice and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed the Doctor there and amazing service.
Heather at Target Optical has been our familys customer service rep for several years now. We love working with Heather as she always understands our need, works to find any and all applicable discounts, and ALWAYS provides great customer service with a smile! I hope we never have to go anywhere else because no place would ever know half as much as Heather!
Service has been great. Very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend to friends & family and will be back in the future. Thanks!
Ordered 2 pairs of glasses, both for distance. Took about 3 weeks to get and the lenses were the wrong prescription. They had put my reading prescription in them instead. So, I brought back one pair of the glasses so they could replace the lenses. A month goes by and no communication from this place. I happened to be shopping there last night and so I popped in to see if my glasses had came in and they just never contacted me. Which is exactly what had happened. So the first time I ordered glasses I received a text making me aware that the glasses had been completed. This time they texted an old number once three weeks ago and that was the end of them trying to get ahold of me. The manager of this location is the reason that this place is so ridiculous. She is unprofessional and obviously has no follow through when it comes to making something that they messed up on right. Do your self a favor and avoid the frustration that this place causes.
Whatever you do, DO NOT lose your receipt. I lost mine and wanted to return the glasses but they wouldnt let me. I was only allowed to do an exchange in the store. Unfortunately, they only had a few different frames that actually fit the bridge of my nose correctly. I got a pair of Ray Bans, but I dont really like them. The lenses are too large for my face. But I feel like I was forced into a pair of glasses that I didnt want over a pair of glasses that didnt fit. This is the biggest waste of $250 Ive ever spent. Youre better off going somewhere else.
This was the nicest, easiest optometry experience Ive ever had. The two ladies working up front were great to chat with as I got the paperwork filled out, and the one lady helping me was friendly throughout the whole process. The optometrist was personable and kind and knew what he was doing.Pros:- Super friendly and experienced staff- Very quick in and out- The whole process seemed simple- This is the cheapest Ive ever gotten glasses from a physical store- They called me ahead of time to let me know the procedure for the visit (restrictions due to covid)- Super convenient because its in Target!Cons:- The lady helping me was unaware that polarized lenses can apply to non-tinted as well as tinted lenses- At other glasses places Ive been to they have a bunch of different lens options you can get, like slim or scratch resistant or polarized or transitions or stuff like that. I didnt really see any posters or information explaining lens options. I told the lady I wanted thin and scratch resistant, but Im not actually sure what kind Ill end up receivingHeres how the process went for me:I set up an appointment online (Target has not yet figured out how to allow a single sign on to all their services). I received a call the day before to let me know about covid restrictions. When I arrived to my appointment, I signed a form about use of personally identifiable information. I then filled out a form with my personal and medical information. At that point the doctor wasnt quite ready to see me, so I looked at frames and picked one I liked. I handed it to the lady who was helping me, then went with the optometrist to the equipment.I looked into one machine which measured my eyes. The next machine blew air at my eyeballs. Then we went into the exam room. The doctor checked each of my eyes individually, then together, then we were done.I went back out to the lady who was helping me, and she put a contraption on the frames Id chosen, then had me put them on while she took a picture; this is how they measure your eyes for fitting the frames. Finally, I paid for the visit ($70, couldnt use Target card because the doctor isnt an employee of Target), then for the glasses (~$250). My glasses will arrive in 2-3 weeks. And that was it! Simple and painless.
Whatever you do, do not go here for contacts or glasses. Talk about a complete nightmare and train wreck. Kristen Green does not know what she is doing and her support staff Kim is even worse. I have called and left numerous messages with Kim to have Kristen call me back because they ordered me the incorrect contacts. With Covid, it is not as easy to just run into the store while I am high-risk. Do not ever use this optical department or you will be wasting your money. Very disappointed that target would allow such poor service.
Had an appointment for a contact fitting. The appointment itself was clean and professional, but when I was going to buy contacts after the clerk only offered me the most expensive brand. When I asked for the alternatives I saw on their website I was told to wait for the doctor. After half an hour the doctor came out and said shes not the one to handle the sales. Only then did the clerk offer me the other brands.
Amazing service. Everyone there was super nice. Explained everything in detail. I’m in my early 20s and it was the first time buying my own insurance, and they helped me fill out all the paperwork with ease. They made sure to find me the best deal possible on frames. And were overall just so kind and helpful.
Called me the day before my appointment to say they were not doing contact lense fittings due to Covid regulations. I happily obliged, but after calling all other locations I was able to determine it was a lie and there is no such regulation in place.
I really loved this office. The staff was friendly and super helpful. Dr. Green took time to explain a weird condition I have and made me feel very comfortable. I did get into the office about 30 minutes past my appointment time, but the office was very accommodating. I was happy with my experience.
Very helpful. They charged us $110 for eye test and trial contacts. But time was of essence as we were traveling from out of town! Great service. No pressure to order contacts for six months like other places we called
Good experience in the clinic, but I had to wait 2 weeks for my contacts and a MONTH for my glasses. Other places are more expensive, but it doesn’t take an entire month to get glasses.
All around great place to get glasses at a good price, got the same frames and more options on my lenses for the same price as the last place I went too. Also amazing customer service that are quick to respond if you have any issues. Completely satisfied with my visit.
I loved my whole experience here at this place. Friendliest people all around, Dr. Michael Franzone was beyond helpful, honestly they are the best and I’m definitely committed to making this my only location to where I get my glasses from now on. They had no issues with going through my insurance, they were able to make an appt with me even on the day of, and overall they’re the nicest and realest people.
If you like feeling the pressure of a cars salesman, this is the optical for you. If you like asking for a price breakdown and being ignored like a cars salesman, this is the optical for you. If you like trying to find out why with insurance that says $0 copay that they are still quoting you $100.00, like a cars salesman would, this is the optical for you. This optical is the Larry H. Miller of optical experiences. I will NEVER shop here for glasses. I went to ShopKo instead and found out my insurance does cover what I thought it did and that I would only pay tax on it. I did not see any of the opticians, this is simply a review of the strong arm tactics of the sales people.
My husband and I searched for what feels like forever for our first optometrist, and I can say with absolute confidence that we have no regrets coming here. Our first visit here was lengthy, but I have no complaints. The optometrist was incredibly thorough. I learned I actually have a tear in the retina in one of my eyes, and he took the time to explain the cause/effect of the tear, and opened a dialogue of some things to keep an eye out for (pun intended), just in case things start to get problematic.Michael is a wonderful salesman. He is knowledgeable about the products in store and exhibits great customer service. He took the time to make sure that all of our questions were answered (and I had a lot of them!) and that we were getting the products we needed at the price we could afford.I would definitely recommend Target Optical to anyone on the market for an optometrist! The door is truly always open here for any questions, comments, or concerns you may have regarding eye wear/care.
Very friendly service, fast and efficient. Not a lot of waiting, small selection but all of them very stylish
Everyone who worked there was very great&friendly including Dr. Nathan. I really had fun choosing my glasses in their clinic.
Michael is the most helpful, honest salesman Ive ever met. Hes sold me a few pairs of glasses and i well never shop anywhere else.
Everyone there was really helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Enjoyable experience.
Horrible customer service ! Never coming back!
