The optometrist was very good but the the counter customer service is terrible. I was interested into trying different frames and when I asked a staff member to see some displays he just placed them over the counter and started talking to the next person in line. Never asked if I liked a particular frame or how it felt on my face. I had to keep asking to see different frames. Due to this experience will very likely not purchase any prescription frames or lenses at Costco.
I purchased a rather difficult pair of glasses that would often break due to design flaws unrelated to Costco. The kind, patient, and intelligent staff at Costco helped me tremendously. They took their time and fixed the frames at least 4 times. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was the lack of support for some of their older model frames and one less than positive employee.
Ive got several vision problems. Ive tried different doctors from time to time, and in general, the correction scripts havent been very good. They blame it on everything except themselves.Dr. Cherland is one of the best Ive been too. She gets her scripts right, does good exams, knows what she is doing and treats everyone well. Ive gone to her for the past several years, and I dont plan on going anywhere else.The staff in the office changes frequently so I ignore the issues there because in the end the only thing that really counts is getting the right script.

Friendly staff and fair pricing. Have gone back multiple times for adjustments and have never had an issue here.
Been seeing Dr. Jennifer Cherland for years and wouldnt go any where else. She is so up beat and knows her stuff. If you need your eyes checked she is your doctor.
Didnt even make it as far as coming in. I Was told this particular optometrist Refuses to Bill the Insurance & has Raised her Prices Higher than the others. Why would anyone want to see someone that Greedy & Lazy. Costco Needs to Replace her with someone who Doesnt Drive Customers Away. We will be going to a Different location.
I took my whole family for eye exams. The appointments were done at once. They were waiting for us the day we arrived for the appointment. The optometrist took time to give me explanations i have never heard of previously. Our glasses were ready when they said they were going to be, and I received a text message when that happened.
What a joke. Called to get an eye exam and was put on hold, then transferred to the glasses who then transferred me back to the optometrist which kept me on hold then transferred me to the main store. Bottom line I never talked to them.
Every other Costco vision center Ive used will bill your insurance company for you, this one refused to. Its also very difficult to actually get someone on the phone for an appointment.
