Not from Utah, however, accidentally broke my glasses while in Salt Lake. I came here and got a new pair the same day all in less than an hour. Great office, wonderful staff. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience today at the Lens Crafters in city creek. The store was really clean and organized. The staff were really helpful as well. I hadn’t gotten a new pair of glasses in years, so I didn’t really know what was going on. Laura was really patient with me and answered a lot of my questions. She helped me pick a nice pair of glasses that seemed like a perfect fit! The manager was also really nice, although I’m not sure what his name was!

I went in with a friend to help adjust his glasses. Sean, the assistant manager, was incredibly helpful and quick. It was refreshing to meet someone who is passionate about what they do and even helped educate us on glasses maintenance in a friendly, positive way. I have perfect vision, but would completely trust Sean and his team to help me if it wasn’t.

I love going to this LensCrafters location. Scott is always helpful in finding the right frames for me. They replaced the lenses today at no charge since one lens had a slight spot. Thank you for your professional service and for making sure I actually like the frames I have selected. So wonderful to work with great people!

I had an excellent experience at this beautiful store! Laura was so patient while I tried pair after pair of glasses on. Her fun personality and knowledge of styles made finding the perfect pair of glasses far less painful than when I usually shop for glasses. I also appreciated that Laura and Sean were wearing masks and cleaning each pair of frames that were touched or tried on by customers. Bottom line: if you need glasses, go to Lens Crafters at City Creek and ask for Laura or Sean.These two really know their stuff and they both deserve a raise!

We were looking for a same day glasses store to get our 5th grader his first pair of glasses. I am glad that LensCrafters in City Creek popped up in my google search. The staff were very knowledgeable, helpful, prompt, professional, enthusiastic, and kind. We purchased two pairs of glasses. I would definitely recommend this location!!!

Sean is super nice and gladly help me with my frame where I didn’t get it from LensCrafter- free of charge and he let me know that they are always happy to help with glass repairs, cleaning and nose pad replacement free of charge. Super friendly store and l am so happy I stopped by :)))

I did not have my glasses made at LensCrafters, but when I had trouble with my prescription, my eye doctor suggested I go there for their service of making a mock up of the correct prescription. Courtney who answered the phone and helped me on my arrival was very accomodating. Then Scott Guymon, the Optician, spent at least 20 minutes with me explaining what the problem might be with my glasses and several options for how to proceed. Neither my eye doctor or anyone where my glasses were made explained the meaning of the numbers in my prescription or what my problem actually was, like he did. In the future I will go to LensCrafters for their superior service and concern for my success in seeing the world!

So I decided to get a new exam and a pair of glasses the exam was nice and easy. No dilated pupils everything was going great till i had to wait for my glasses. They said it would be like a week and a half. A week and a half came and went no contact to let me know whats was going on. I called them and they tell me the lenses were taking a bit longer by the end of the week so I waited some more a week went by and again nothing i had to called them and asked them again about my lenses they now they said they broke and would take another week they made me some temporary lenses for the meantime so that worked out but it took exactly a month later that i got my lenses. I appreciate the temporary lenses and the service i was provided only thing lacking was communication. Yall would have gotten at least 3 stars with communication

The entire crew here has been sooo helpful! Danielle readjusted SEVERAL pairs of glasses to fit my face that I didn’t even purchase here. She spent quite a while making them fit PERFECTLY. This was a great experience. From booking to working with Dr Hayes and he addressed all my concerns. Mackenzie got me in my contacts working through my insurance. These guys really proved themselves as extremely knowledgeable and there to help in any way i needed. dr. hayes (the optometrist in the back, at ion vision) was super friendly and easy to work with and helpful in giving me my prescription. i went back out to the lens crafters desk thinking i knew what kind of lenses i wanted (but first time glasses, haha). danielle suggested i get anti-reflective coating, and progressive lenses (as my prescription suggested) but i was like, nah! that’s not what i want. she was so friendly and understanding and just said, okay! but try on these two pairs in the mirror first just to see what i mean. i immediately agreed and decided on getting the anti-reflective coating. but i held stubborn on not getting progressives, and she understood my reason, and kindly put the order in. then the lenses came and i realized i needed the progressives (ruh-roh!). scott was super friendly and sat down with me, precisely, patiently, and kindly answering all my questions, and describing some various options from that point forward (which included returning the lenses i’d just bought!). he said “no rush, take your time thinking it over, and when you’re ready to talk more come on back”. when i went back, i was bummed to find that neither danielle nor scott were there. instead there was somebody else, sean, who i hadn’t met and who didn’t have my backstory. but sean was super friendly and sat down with me and was able to catch up easily, and answer my new questions in a caring and personable way. he inadvertently gave me new things to think about. so when i came back, i was excited to find sean, and danielle there to help me. they BOTH sat down with me, for about an hour, and enthusiastically answered my questions, collaborating between each other to figure out a best option, while explaining to me the pros and cons of the different potential lens materials. it was so interesting and fun because it brought up curiosities and an interest in the science, and they seemed excited that i was asking so many questions, and seemed to have fun answering them. sean then took the time to print out my different options and figure out the price difference for each one, considering what i had already paid for the lenses i was returning (and you get to keep the original lenses until the new ones come in). in the end, i ordered the right lenses, had fun, learned a ton, AND made some new friends.

I just came to replace my nose pads - which were pretty old and dirty - expecting there was going to be a cost but they did it for free! Mackenzie also did a overall maintaince on my glasses, I was surprised on how helpful and proactive she was. I had an awesome experience.

Dr Kolbay is a stand up comedian, I didn’t know I could laugh so much during an eye exam. & my optician Scott... probably the best person to talk to when you’re deciding to buy some glasses. I got a professional, no fluff look at All my options which gave me a clear view on what to decide. & when you decide what you want, it’s so satisfying. I even shopped around and Lenscrafters was surprisingly the best priced for what I got and hands down best quality. So if you’re insured with eye med and you want your eyeball questions answered then walking away with a new outlook, it wouldn’t hurt to check out city creek’s Lenscrafters. Please dont tell people that Bausch & Lomb contact lenses come with a mail-in rebate. After hours of hassle and days of waiting I have a pre-loaded Visa Rewards card that cannot be redeemed for cash nor used at ATMs. Bausch & Lomb made their rebate process intentionally difficult and I refuse to buy from them ever again.

From the exam to the fitting to the lens selection and frame choices - this was a very worthwhile visit. My spouse and I were able to find glasses that fit out style and need. The staff worked directly with us and made my day easy when one of the wonderful ladies escorted my beautiful bride around the store and showed genuine thoughtfulness on my wifes taste and color pallet.

Three stars is a stretch for this eye glass store.  I gave them one star for having a great selection in every price range, one star for speed of service, they had my new glasses ready in less than one week, and I gave them one star for service I received when I first shipped and purchased my glasses.  If I deduct stars they would get, 1 deduction for price very, very expensive, 1 point deduction for not adjusting the fit of my new glasses, 1 point deduction for not teaching me how to clean or care for my new glasses, 1 point gone for not providing a case or a wiping cloth, and 1 point for rushing me out the door when I had so many questions.  Seem like the service is awesome until they got my money, then it goes down the tube. BTW I went to Costco the next day, they adjusted my glasses so they now fit, gave me a case and wiping pad.  So much better customer service.

Dr. Watson, Hayes and Koblay are awesome, and Isabel is a sweetheart! I hadn’t worn contacts in years and they took their time to make sure I was comfortable and 100% satisfied with my decision. They were extremely patient and very helpful. Now I’m wearing contacts, comfortably! Thanks everyone!

I went in for an eye exam for new contacts. The last few eye doctors I’ve been to other places have been fairly awkward gentleman...but this guy was a riot! After my exam, I sat down with a sales associate. She explained what my options for glasses would be, how pricing would work with my insurance, but never pressured me into buying a pair. I’ll definitely return!

Great service; lost a screw from my sunglasses and one of the glasses came out. I was just in SLC for a visit, so was looking for the closest shop to fix it and just walked into LensCrafters city Creek mall. They fixed it on the spot, cleaned my sunglasses and no cost; this is our service! Excellent!

I decided to give LensCrafters a try after spending thousands of dollars at Standard Optical for years. I was hopeful that their prices would be cheaper and if not that their quality would be higher. After wearing the glasses for a few weeks, they will be returned for a refund. Their claim that their fancy tools and software help to make sure your glasses are perfect are not true. I don’t buy it. My glasses from elsewhere have clearer vision and higher quality frame for the same price.Their sales people are extremely pushy and when I said I was going to leave I was bribed with a 50% off family and friends discount. It felt too similar to a bad car buying experience. Go elsewhere.

I was visiting SLC in early May 2019 and went to LensCrafters to get eye exam and new glasses. Dr. Hayes found spot on my eye during eye exam and got me an immediate appt. with Salt Lake Retina to diagnose. It was a detached retina and required same day laser surgery to correct! Dr. Hayes diagnosis saved my vision and I am SO grateful. Plus my new glasses are great!!! I highly recommend LensCrafters and Dr. Hayes!

3 remakes of my prescription lenses and they are still not my prescription. LensCrafters will not refund the cost of the lenses much less the frames that I have had to have remade 3 times because they were never correct. If you purchase prescription glasses here you have 30 days to get a refund. Sure they will remake them but how much time do you want to spend of your day going back there when they should have been correct the first time. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service. I am out $400.00 for new lenses. I will never go back to Lensecarfters. Be sure you find out the refund policy before you buy.

Scott helped me decide on what new pair I should get, he was honest with which glasses he recommends and which he doesnt. He took his time and made sure that I was satisfied with my choice. Definetly will come back and get a second pair sunglasses.

Purchased a pair of glasses from the city creek location. From the first time I put them on I saw double. They checked the glasses against the prescription and said it was correct. They adjusted the nose piece so the glasses were further from my face which helped but after a few weeks of wearing them, my eyes get tired and I have to keep adjusting them. Took them back and they told me they were right and they offered to adjust them again. I don’t have this problem with my last pair of glasses. So frustrating to spend hundreds of dollars and end up with glasses that don’t correct my sight correctly. They tell you you can bring them back for “any reason” within 30 days which is true but they will blame the problem on the optometrist that doesn’t work for lense crafters and offer to adjust your nose piece :).

I got my glasses from them last year. The shop makes there own lenses so i had them within a couple hours. Im thinking of going to contacts. And will be going back to them for it. I know, it will possibly take a few visits to see which ones i like best but its worth not having to go miles just to find decent glasses/ contacts.

Went here to get both an eye exam and a new pair of glasses. I set up my appointment online, arrived on time, and everything was quick and easy. Everyone was polite and helpful, and they also helped with explaining options for lenses, and finding a frame that fit my needs. My glasses ended up taking about 2 weeks to become available for pickup.

Amazing customer service!! I went in with a certain frame in mind and it wasnt on the shelf so the nice associate that helped me ( I forgot her name) pulled the back stock and found me the frame that I was looking for rather than looking at the wall and informing me that they didnt carry that frame. My glasses also came in way faster than the original quoted time and they took great care of me when I came back to pick them up. Needless to say I will return to this location!

Ignorant, childish employees will try to educate you on racism here. I asked if they carried low bridge fit glasses. The young man working there said no, there is no such thing- just regular nose pads, which are adjustable, and plastic pads, which are not. I try to explain that theyre essentially Asian fit frames, or frames with a larger nose pad, but he cuts me off and again responds that there is no such thing. (Low bridge fit and Asian fit frames are both popular and current marketing terms). I then say, I know there are plastic frames with a larger pad. He says, keyhole glasses have a larger pad. He shows them to me, I say thanks, and ask which piece is the keyhole. He responds smartly, the part that looks like a keyhole. By his rude tone and tendency to cut me off, I feel like he knows what type of product I am trying to ask for but, for some reason, he is refusing to get on my level. As a last attempt, I re-iterate that Im looking for low bridge fit or Asian fit frames. He explains that theres no such thing because Asian is a derogatory term, and after a pregnant pause during which I am now fuming, he continues for a glasses fit. So now it becomes clear- this kid was trying to educate me on political correctness. However, he inadvertently revealed his own indoctrinated racism. His misunderstanding of the acceptable use of the term Asian, his dismissal of my request, his denial of the existence of a product, and his generally uppity behavior towards me as if I was ignorant and in need of education was all racist behavior. I will be shopping for my Asian face elsewhere.**Editing to note that this review is for Lenscrafters, not for the independent eye doctor practice, Ion Vision, which I found timely, friendly, thoughtful, and clean.

I stopped by this LensCrafters when I was in town for the weekend at the beginning of the month to see if I could get a new pair of glasses that I didnt love adjusted. I met Shawn, an employee new to this location, and let me tell you HE IS GENIUS! He is truly gifted at his craft. If you had asked me before, I would not have thought that fitting someone with glasses is a craft, but now that I know Shawn, I know that it is. He is passionate about his job, and he is really good at it. He adjusted my glasses and helped me like them a whole lot better. But that wasnt enough for him; he wanted me to love my glasses. When I asked what he might recommend instead, after listening to my concerns, he went to the display, grabbed one pair of glasses and handed them to me to try on, and I LOVED THEM right away. He helped me determine that I could swap them for only and additional $18 and change, so that was a no brainer. I was so impressed with Shawn and his level of care of service that I flew back to Salt Lake this past weekend so that he could fit my new pair once they had my own prescription lenses. (I work for an airline so I fly free. Not a hard choice....) If you are lucky enough to live in Salt Lake, stop by to see Shawn. Have him adjust your glasses. Even if you are not a Lenscrafters customer, he will adjust your glasses, and you will walk out feeling like a new person!!!! Thanks, Shawn, I hope you see this!!!!

My appointment was scheduled for 1:00. They lost the appointment, said it wasnt confirmed. I then had to wait 30 minutes to see the nurse. It is almost 3:00 and have yet to see the doctor. I do not recommend this place at all. They do not have a good system. Go to Costco.

Don’t shop here. I ordered my glasses 8 days ago, I called to get a status because I was told they would be ready in 7 days. When I called the said the order is being processed. 8 days and they haven’t even started making them? Not to mention the assistant manager Sean, is super unprofessional and rude
