The optometrist was very funny and made the eye exam easy. The receptionist who helped me find a new pair of frames was very kind and honestly made sure to find frames that would frame my face very well. We went through like 12 different pairs. I love my new pair and definitely recommend this place! They had knowledge and expertise that I have not received before at other optical places.

I don’t know if I could even express how awesome these guys are! Every person who helped me through my appointment was absolutely lovely. The office itself is welcoming and cute, and they truly have a huge selection of frames. I chose to get some custom made frames and worked with Leslie (I believe is their name), who made sure these glasses were PERFECT for me before I came in. The care and effort these guys put into their game is real, and I’ll be recommending Image Eyes Optical to everyone I know! They’ll make you look good whatever your budget is. I have a pair of Lindberg strip titanium 9745 eyeglasses & Barton Pereira Courtier prescription sunglasses. Wore them throughout my wedding day recently (including during our professional photography sessions) & not only was there was no glare obscuring my eyes in the pics, etc, but I also received a deluge of compliments on the glasses. I love every aspect of this eye wear shop located in downtown Salt Lake City. I loved their selection and the way I was treated. Everyone is quite nice. This isnt always the case in retail. I never felt pressured to buy. They have an employee there who seems very knowledgeable and has a very keen eye. He takes a look at your face and eye/nose and can walk through the store and pick out half a dozen styles that will look great on you! He was patient and I never felt rushed. The only problem is deciding which one to buy! All in all, a great experience. Thank you Erick! You rock!

Truly wonderful business. Everyone was friendly and professional. I never waited long for any step of the process. Erick was absolutely incredible when it came to helping pick out new glasses. Listened to what I wanted but at the same time shared his invaluable knowledge and experience when it came to picking out the perfect frames. The selection not only looks good, but fits with my lifestyle/professional needs. The cherry on top is that they validate parking in the 222 garage. Highly recommend.

Wonderful shop with awesome employees and great selection!I got my prescription updated for the first time in 6 years and its like Im seeing for the first time. Im so glad I went through this place for it!First, the woman who started the appointment was very professional, knowledgeable about everything (even my random questions about how some machines function fundamentally) and super friendly and fun to talk to.Next was the doctor himself who was extremely thorough and pleasant. He did a fantastic job of making sure the prescription was perfect without keeping me there forever.Last was the woman who helped me pick out the frames! She did a FANTASTIC job of helping me find the right frames for my face. She was a ton of fun to search through lenses with and was very honest and straightforward about what glasses looked good on me and which could be better. No sugarcoating the frame I first tried to get me out the door, no buttering up to get something more expensive, just a straight honest opinion and great ideas on where to start! With so many choices I wouldve been lost there forever but she made it super easy.Overall, this was one of my best shopping experiences ANYWHERE. Not just for glasses, but anything. Wonderful people. Having been raised by troglodytes my whole life, I thought that 20/20 vision only went as far as the cave I was born in. Boy, was I wrong. One quick trip to image eyes, and some on point help from Leslie, and BAM, there’s a whole world out there. 5/7 perfect score.

I am so frustrated with Image Eyes. I came in for a contact and glasses fitting and left with contacts that were blurry. I told the optometrist that my new contacts were blurry, but he told me to try them out and just see if they work because sometimes our eyes get better. I went back 2 weeks later because as a grad student, I couldnt see my professors presentations and I could not read signs on the road when I drove. I got a new prescription, but it is still blurry. I spent time explaining to the doctor that the second prescription was still blurry but he essentially said there is nothing he could do about that. And I just received my glasses in the mail with the new prescription I got from there and again, the prescription is completely blurry. Literally so frustrating. This has never happened to me in my 10 years of wearing contacts and glasses. I am not impressed at all.

I had a great experience here. The exams were prompt & thorough, especially with Dr. Brockbank, of course. Katie & Erick were very patient & helpful when I didnt know which frames would look flattering. Even though I couldnt walk out with my finished glasses that same day for insurance reasons (which was a stressor because I was driving out that evening to Memphis), it was arranged that I would receive them expedited to me in Tampa, & now I have. Katie even carefully fitted the frames to me before I left the store. I would drive across state lines to come to these friendly professionals again & can recommend them to anyone.

Such a beautiful store to shop in! The representatives are knowledgeable and kind. The doctors take the time to work with you on your prescription and gets you the products that are right for you. Def recommendation this shop!

I’ve been a customer here for nearly 3 years. This place has it all - amazing customer service, an awesome selection of classic and designer / rare glasses, and they’ll take your insurance for great discounts off of incredible frames. Truly better than any eyeglass store you’d go to in a mall.What’s not to love about Image Eyes that hasn’t been said? For example, they have a ton of fashionable eyewear brands (Ray Ban, Mykita, Salt, Garrett Leight) which are constantly updated to be on trend. The fact this place –let alone SLC– has a Jacques Marie Mages selection is... quite frankly insane. The stock of exceptional artisanal eyewear is surprisingly rare and hard to come by, and the gang is always happy to help you find your perfect frame.I promise, I’m not getting paid to write this review. It’s just a really really great place to go for eyewear and the crew here remembers your name. Every city should have an Image Eyes Optical.Thanks team!
