I think I might have bought a lemon but MD Automotive got me all the way together! Ive officially made them my go-to for car rescue. I had to call them twice (alternator and battery) and both times I worked with Chris. Chris was extremely nice and, while very professional, he didnt speak to me like Im a customer but like Im a PERSON. I received the same energy from Charlie when I went to pay for the services rendered. What I especially appreciate about MD is that I couldnt get an estimate until the car was diagnosed with an actual problem by the mechanics. The first time I spoke with Chris, I asked him 27 times, 26 different ways for an estimate but he wouldnt budge. Besides, he could probably tell that I might put gas in a full tank to fix a flat tire but here I am telling him what repairs are needed on this car. MD Automotive is reasonably priced and, from my understanding, they didnt short me on the parts-they actual used quality parts! Also, the place is clean and smells great! When I picked up my car, it appeared shiny and new! I love this place!

I have been taking my vehicles to MD for years, they are by far the best mechanic shop I’ve have been to. They are very professional and always go above and beyond. They have very knowledgeable mechanics and always do an excellent job. They provide a detailed report of the vehicles diagnostic as will take the time to go over all the issues and recommended maintenance with you. If your looking for a reliable mechanic shop they doesn’t give you the run around and does excellent work, check out MD, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I havent use it yet, however I made a call to them and explained my issue. They where more than helpful over the phone. Other places didnt even let me explain what my issue was and all where like You need to bring the vehicle in for diagnostic. This guys went about an beyond no to let me waist my time.Just for that, I will give them a 5 star review and will use them for any vehicle issue I have in the future.

Ive been a faithful customer for a few years now and theyve always been willing to extend themselve for customer service. Chris and the rest of the staff at MD Automotive are professional, thorough and friendly. When they assess the problem, they provide digital pictures of issue and any other items that need to be considered for repair. My brakes are in excellent working order and well as my AC during this summers heat. MD Auto is an honest business at fair prices.

MD Automotive has done thousands of dollars of work on my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee over the years. Their work has been outstanding, very reasonably priced, and totally focused on excellent customer and vehicle care. These guys are AWESOME

MD diagnosed problem, provided a quote and suggested the repair might be covered under the Subaru warranty.I contacted a Subaru dealer and they indicated it probably would be. I will find out next week when I bring it in to them. Pretty impressive honesty.

This is my third time going with MD Automotive. First time was AC repair a couple years ago, then my sons used car needed service last year and just recently my cars engine light turned on. Each time they have been incredible! They take their time to explain and provide a copy of their diagnostic findings and quotes which is helpful. They offer pickup and drop off services as well as loaners in case they need to hold onto the car. When I received my car back it had been washed and vacuumed which was a nice surprise. I highly recommend them to everyone and trust their work.

First time dealing with MD Automotive and I was impressed!!! I had diagnosed my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee with having one or possibly two bad front wheel bearings. A coworker recommenced MD automotive so they were my choice. Charlie and the staff were great, repaired my Jeep ahead of schedule. A detailed report was emailed to me as well as texted with pictures and video of the wheel bearing which I wasnt expecting. I will definitely utilize them in the future!

These guys are great. Honest work and no surprises. They call and email photos of what they find in their inspection. They even make recommendations on what is essential and what could wait if your on a budget.I ve taken my F250 super duty and a small Toyota to them a few times. Always great service.

I have taken two of my cars to MD Automotive for repair and each time they have done an amazing job. I got pictures, videos and notes abouy my car repair from start to finish. Charlie was nice and knew his stuff each time I talked to him. I never felt like they offered uneeded repairs just to make a buck, they did the job right and advised on other things...never pushy, never felt like I was being sold something I didnt need. I will definitely go back for all my repairs

The dealer changed the oil and filter and indicated on the checklist that there was seepage from a valve cover gasket. I took it to MD Automotive because they had serviced other vehicles I had owned and I know that they are honest. They will not perform services if it’s not needed. I will continue to take my vehicle to MD Automotive when it needs repairs.

Even though I wasnt able to get any work done due to personal circumstances they were still very polite, respectful and accommodating. What I found most interesting was their free shuttle service and their reports on your vehicle, theyre very detailed and thorough.I will definitely be coming back for future repairs/installs because it feels like they care about not only the repairs but the customer service as well. Hands down best experience at an auto shop.

They do the job right but they have a really bad closing policy at 5pm and work only weekdays which makes it almost impossible to pick up your vehicle after work when you do an 8-5. And work 30 mins away. At least open Saturday 9-3 or something so that your 8-5er can pick up their vehicle without begging their boss to leave early

The customer service here is excellent. I will be the first to admit that I am a picky customer and love my car, so I listen for any and every little noise. They are very helpful and will double and triple check to make sure you are satisfied with the repair. They know their stuff and are super professional. Will definitely be coming back!

I really wanted to support this local business but they didn’t want based on my experience. I wanted to get my truck fixed and I told them hey I’m a long time dealership customer and I’m trying to get away but the bigger business just have customer service down.

Immediately welcomed and introduced to three staff members upon walking in the door. Handled all discussions with warranty company on my behalf and repairs costed me only a fraction of the overall expense. Picked up vehicle and almost got it home before experiencing a power loss issue. Had it towed to shop where we received a loaner and subsequently notified same day they had diagnosed and repaired the issue at no additional cost. Altogether, very professional and vehicle seems to running much better than when it was first taken in. Will definitely be returning.

MD Automotive is the only shop Ive been in where I didnt worry about being ripped off. The business has a small town vibe where people remember your name but has evolved to keep up with the times. I visited MD Automotive to get some general maintenance done. In addition, I had some diagnostic lights on and some vibration while driving. The staff is friendly. MD provided a detailed inspection and privided pictures of defects as well as suggested fixes and prices. They were able to perform the preventive maintenance as well as all the repairs that were necessary to get my vehicle running like new within 5 business days (awesome turn around time considering the amount of parts that needed to be ordered and work that needed to be done). Their internet work order is quite comprehensive and easy to read and there were no surprise charges. They replied to emails in a timely manner and they are also easy to each via telephone. I will be trusting MD Automotive with my future maintenance needs and I recommend for you to do the same.

You guys replaced my shredded door seals! I didnt even mention them as a problem, Im not quite sure when in the many visits you replaced them, and you sure as heck didnt charge me for them. This place is fantastic! I have been coming here for minor to major repairs on my cars since 2009 and I have never been disappointed. J.R and Chris always have great customer service. They are knowledgeable, honest, and care about their customers.

This shop tried to charge me 3x the National average for repair work. For instance they quoted over $1500 to replace a radiator, the hoses and to flush the system when the National average is between $575-740. This was a common theme with all of the quotes they provided me. They were nice and the full inspection report is a good value and a good tool but I’ve choosen to seek elsewhere for the repair work.

Once again I had an issue with our 20 year old truck that was again beyond our capability to repair and without hesitation we went to MD Automotive as we have every time we’ve needed since moving to Helotes 20 years ago. Not only do we trust our lives to their Professional Mechanics, we now trust our Granddaughter’s life—I can think of no higher level of confidence!

My AC stopped blowing cool air and had my cars service department take a look and quote me a price. They quoted me $1300 which totally blindsided me given that the car is only about 4 years old! My dad advised me to shop around for an AC specialty shop, and I feel so fortunate to have found this shop. The staff was always friendly and only charged me a fraction of the price my dealership quoted me. I would highly recommend everyone to trust this shop with their car. I will definitely be making this shop my go to going forward.

I have been bringing my cars here for 3 years and they always do fantastic work. You will recieve detailed breakdowns, pictures, and explanations via email and text. They never pressure you to do anything you arent comfortable with and give an honest opinion. I will reiterate: They provide ACTUAL PHOTOS of your vehicle, parts, etc. that explain the work that needs to be done. 95% of mechanics out there dont provide ANYTHING but their verbal/written assessment. Dont settle for places like that. Its a 25 minute drive for me to get here but so worth it!

This team is awesome. Quality work, Honest business, Good Value. I went in knowing that I needed serpentine belt replaced on my 2010 volvo XC 90. Mine had seized up causing the water pump and power steering to not work. The techs at MD Automotive performed a thorough inspection of my vehicle and found that I only required a new belt, belt pulley, and tensioner. Most importantly, they communicated with me throughout the whole process keeping me aware of what the problem was, how much it would cost, and letting me make a NO PRESSURE decision. I think its fair to say that my family just found the shop we will trust with all our repairs while we live here in San Antonio.
