By far the best mechanic I have ever dealt with. Ive had two boats service by Bear Marine. Both experiences were great. The turnaround time was fast, the price was more than fair, and the communication was excellent. I had daily updates as to what was going on with my boat. No surprise charges as i was given a fair estimate and updated when extra parts were necessary. I would not hesitate to take another boat there or to recommend to friends and family. Also had a boat detailed here, amazing work. Anyone that needs boat repairs, this is your place.

Very rarely do I ever write a review, in fact only on one other occasion. However, Joseph Bear at Bear Marine deserves it! They took my boat which has been sitting for three years with multiple issues and fixed her up for me! They did a fantastic job and she is running like new! I cannot speak highly enough of the fantastic work they did for me! Ive been out of town for 10 weeks as a travel nurse and they made the whole process extremely easy for me! Very easy to get ahold of them and trustworthy! I seriously cannot recommend them enough. They do business the old fashion way! Where a mans word and a handshake still mean something! GO TO THEM! They have certainly earned my business!

First very dangerous getting in and out of this shop. Brought boat in and showed him number one reason for bringing in along with directions to fully inspect boat and repair any and all things he found. He gave me a price I said yes. Heres what followed. After picking up boat, took to Braunig lake to test. Boat would start but not stay on. Took back to boat shop, adjusted said all good. Took back to Lake after repaired. Same problem. Took back and he said I needed to adjust at lake because at his shop back pressure not the same. Asked why he didnt repair my original problem and why is fair if I paid him that my boat should not run. Place is horribly ran and he had no ethics

Just purchased an older pontoon boat that had some issues. I took it to Bear Marine since I posted my issues on a fishing group and several people referred this place.Just so happens that I live fairly close, so I dropped off my boat.I told him I was hoping I can get it fixed by the end of the week. They surprised me that they actually got my boat fixed THE SAME DAY!!Took it out this weekend and ran great!!I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

I took my boat in after the outboard gave me some issues with shifting into gear. He was able to diagnose, recommend a few options, and make the repair in a timely manner.

Had a problem with my boat running right at idle and low speeds. I tried a different mechanic and they didn’t fix it. Bear tore down my carb, cleaned it and tuned it the right way. My boat hasn’t ran this good in years. His turn around time was quick and exactly what he quoted me. Thanks again!
