I went into this dealership around 7pm. I waited for about 10 minuets for someone to assist me as I was interested in looking into a Suburban High Country. I saw three chevy employees pass me by and didnt even ask for help or assistance.After waiting 10 mins in lobby with no service I ended up leaving. I guess they didnt want my business.Overall poor customer service. Will never return to this dealership in the future.

Online shows one price of a truck we were looking at. But they told us a different price for the same truck w a 15k mark up. Found it again online SAME truck !! 3 different prices. And the sells guy didnt really seem like he wanted to help us or sell a vehicle that day.

They upsold my husband 500.00 worth of service he didnt need and made it seem like it was related to his vehicle not starting.. All he needed was a battery and it took 4 days to get his truck back. We will NEVER go there again!!@ Horrible tactics.

I have used my husbands coupons before to get an oil change and service but 9 Jul they said I couldnt use the coupon bc I have a Honda & it was a Chevy dealership! Did they think I didnt know what kind of vehicle I drive or where I was?? I have used the dealership at least once or twice before. The staff were snobbish & rude. They sent me over to the Honda dealership. Honda wasnt much better!! They said they were too busy & I couldnt use the coupon there either as theyre not a Chevy dealer!! Doubt Ill ever darken your door again....strike three & youre out!!!!

Paid for a full inspection at this Chevy dealership that was free at another and the other location had much better customer service, not only asking what I needed (full inspection/diagnostic/test drive) but also if there was anything that may need to be looked at. Spoke with their tech answering services prior to coming to be sure what I needed, they would do and they confirmed. Only to find out right before paying that I would have to pay an additional fee and be placed in the back of the line to be further serviced for things I spoke with the tech over the phone about prior to scheduling. I dont recommend this place for any servicing. Especially when people are more willing to assist in times like this with a much better outlook and a geniune sense of caring. They just want your money & not to give great service or atleast thats how the rep I dealt with in person made me feel.. Shop around for better, you will find it guaranteed. I did :) Save your time and piece of mind!I hope someone in a higher position contacts me to discuss because this isnt right

Brought my 2017 Silverado in for some warranty service. They had my truck for 9 days. Timeline was based on authorization of payment from my warranty company. No issue with the work performed.When I came to pick up my truck the inside had been ransacked. Everything in the dash board was thrown on the front seat. Items from the center console were thrown on the floorboard. About $20 worth of loose change was missing. Items stored in the bin under the rear seat were thrown across the back floorboard. An iPod and a credit card were missing from the truck. The disposable dealer floor mat and other trash, including disposable masks were left on the drivers side floorboard.I made the service dept cashier aware. She came out and looked in the truck. She told me she would notify the manager. As I continued to go through the truck and discover missing items, I went back into the service dept and notified the manager. He explained that there had been some break ins at the dealership. He said there was nothing he could do and that he was not liable for my losses. He also stated that no one in the service dept was responsible. However, there were no signs of forced entry into my truck. I concluded that the truck was entered utilizing a key or it was negligently left unlocked. Either way, I do believe the dealer should accept responsibility for my losses. No type of restitution was offered. Only a denial of responsibility. I will not be returning to this dealership because I do not have any confidence that my truck will be protected while it is in their care.

We purchased a car from Northside Chevrolet in September, 2020. Being that we live in rural TX, we arranged most of the sale via video chats, email, and phone calls. However, when we arrived to pick up the car, it was clear that not even a preliminary inspection had been performed as there were obvious mechanical issues with the vehicle. They claimed that it was an easy fix and that theyd take it over to the service department for a quick fix. HOURS later with two now grumpy kids in tow, they informed me that I would not be leaving with the vehicle that day as they could not actually resolve the issue. An ENTIRE MONTH later the car was ready and they delivered the vehicle. But missing from the vehicle were any floor mats or a second key. We use the vehicle as our commuter for work and both my husband and I use it equally....meaning that were constantly trading off keys so that we may both use it. Also, were still using paper floormats that we change out regularly. We have been in contact with the salesperson, the service department, the customer service department and pretty much anyone who will answer the phones and emails over at Northside to no avail. THIS HAS BEEN SINCE OCTOBER! We are in contact multiple times a month and are promised an additional key and original floormats to be mailed to us every single time to no avail. Finally, a package arrived this Saturday (almost 4 months after our purchase) with a keg (still no sign of the floormats). I immediately took the key out the car.....AND THE KEY DOES NOT WORK. My husband and I have both called and emailed to notify Northside of this faulty key but have not had any response. We paid for our 2020 vehicle in full at the time of our purchase, we upheld our responsibilities as customers and consumers, however, if I had known the nightmare that it would be to deal with this dealership I would have never purchased the vehicle from them in the first place. BUYER BEWARE!

The word service is foreign to these people. On 2 occasions they have had my vehicle for 3-4 weeks. I never recieved an update on either occasion. Both occasions Ive had personal belongings go missing. First their explanation was well your vehicle has been sitting right over there and the second time everyone in the office agreed they had seen my belongings but didnt know what happened to it.Stopped by one afternoon and found my truck sitting outside ready for pickup. No phone call, no messages. I guess they figured I could wait a while longer.After writing a detailed review on the survey that was emailed to me I received another email from noreply@northsidechevrolet telling me that if I wanted to resolve the issue to call them. No name, no phone or email, no contact info what so ever. So am I supposed to call northside chevrolet and ask for northside chevrolet? And after I explained that a big part of the issue is that I never received phone calls why would I want to call them AGAIN? Do the phones there only accept incoming calls? Not sure how anything in my experience qualifies as service here.I bought my truck here and that was my first mistake. Will. Not. Ever. Go back.

The day of my visit to Northside Chevrolet I communicated thoroughly with a sales rep about a specific vehicle. I was guaranteed the vehicle I was interested in was both at the location and available for purchase. Once I arrived, I was advised that the sales rep I spoke with (over the phone and through text) was not actually at this location, but only answered to online inquiries. As it turns out, the vehicle I wanted to see was not at the location, it was out on loan to another customer. More so- it had not been at the dealership at the time I was told it was.I requested to see a second similar vehicle. The rep had to hunt down the keys and we spent 20 minutes driving through the parking lots attempting to locate it. It to, was not at this location.I messaged the initial sales rep to inform her of the situation and oddly enough she never responded.This dealership is unprofessional and clearly does not have a system in place for tracking of their inventory. I will not return and happily took my business to another dealership.

I cant believe this dealership is in business. Went to them once about 6 months ago for repairs. overpriced, too longer than estimate to fix, almost impossible to get a hold of, etc. Horrible experience. Called today to ask for a service record to be emailed to me. Nothing has changed. No one answers the phone and its impossible to reach anyone. Unless of course you want to buy a car. I will never do business here again. ZERO stars

My mother took her Tahoe in for a oil change vehicle only has 16000 miles. Got a call later that day from service to let her know that her vehicle needed a lot of recommended prevention maintenance. Total 418.00 dollars.They completely took advantage of her not knowing that it’s definitely a scam! that some dealerships do . Do not take your vehicle here . I hope this post prevents someone else From getting completely ripped off!!

Come here for my maintenance on my vehicles but they do take awhile (1 hour or more for oil change) and dont make an appointment doesnt do nothing for you just lets them know youre going in, its first come first serve so if theres people there before you who didnt make an appointment but are there before your time theyre first.

I went to this dealership looking to spend some money and get me some new wheels.The salesman and I spoke before hand and made it seem real convincing, that I would find what I was looking for.They ended up not wanting to work with me, and I found what I was looking for at CarMax for a fraction of the price.Maybe it was my credit score, maybe it was their staff.Idk who turns down thousands of dollars.

Mr Tom Benson is turning over in his grave. Very unsatisfactory experience. Took my car in 3 times, spent approximately $500.00 and still had episodes of car not starting. Technician could not identify problem. On top of that I reserved a loaner on Wednesday giving them plenty of time to arrange a loaner if my car problem was not identified by the weekend. Of course, Friday at 6:30pm I went to go pick up loaner and was brought out a dirty SUV still with plastic wrap on seats. When questioned Victoria the service representative about the condition of the vehicle that could have been washed and the plastic removed bc they had plenty of notification that I would be picking the loaner up I was told by Victoria well you dont HAVE to take it. I was appalled at her reaction and the only reason I took the vehicle as it was due to I had to get to work for the weekend. On Monday when I gladly returned their loaner of course to pick up my vehicle which as yet had not found the problem, I refused to communicate with Victoria reminding her of her rudeness. No apologies offered. Will not be returning to them again. I have dealt with Tom Benson years before and was thoroughly satisfied but the name change and service are truly unacceptable.

NS Chevy CAN be BEAT I got a better deal on a 2500HD LTZ with more features than what this Dealership had to offer and a better trade in allowance on my trade.Now when I reached out to Supervisor or GM named Charles he gave me the run around and was very unprofessional about giving me the $1000 dollars Advertisement deal that NS Chevy has going on that they can’t be beat any deal from another dealer or they will give you $1000 dollars.I took my paper work from another dealership before I purchased and they compared it with theirs side by side and they couldn’t BEAT it. Most of the staff (except the shuttle driver) was rude and pretty unwilling to go the extra mile to take care of a long time Chevrolet owner. I had to have my wife call them at 3:30 in the afternoon just to find out an update on my truck, they hadnt called, emailed or anything to let me know my truck wasnt going to be ready...even though I dropped it off at 8 am. Next, they had no intention on giving me a rental (the first time my wife called) car. I had to have my wife call back and tell them it was unacceptable, and I needed to be able to get my child to daycare and myself to work. The loaner car they gave my was almost on empty (gas). My truck is still under factory warranty and in my opinion the navigation system should be replaced, I pay a lot of money for my vehicle and feel.like Im entitled to a little better customer service. I will definitely be finding another Chevrolet dealership in the future for the car of my vehicles. #extremelydisappointed

I enjoyed my car buying experience at Alamo City but not the service department. They arent pushy or rude, seem very nice actually, but are super slow. Came in for one of my two free oil changes after purchase and it took almost 2 hours. I asked at one point how much longer and was told they normally take 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I will probably end up not going back for the second free oil change.

The check engine light was on and I drove to Alamo City Chevrolet Service, I was told later that catalyst converter need to be replaced and the price is 1.500 which is HUGE money for me. I decided to pay this so I can drive my car without problems. After the repair I drove my car for about a mile and check engine light appeared again. I went back to the Chevrolet Service and they checked my car again, and this time it was gasoline tank cap problem. Replacement of catalyst converter was not necessary thing to do. I better go to another place next time.

Post Sales experience is subpar. I bought a car from Tom Benson Chevy 4 years ago, awesome experience. Now I sold the car and need to get the warranty cancelled. Its been 1 month since i faxed the cancellation form over and I am not able to speak to anyone on status or if they even received it. All I get is transferred around to voicemails and no one ever calls me back. Im from out of town so I cannot visit dealership in person.

Be aware!I bought a car from them at a good price, what I did not know was that the car had frame damage as they did not disclose it, they showed me the Carfax at that time but sometimes this information is not available in Carfax right away. Now that I am trying to trade the car no dealership will take it, not even themselves, now I am looking for legal help, I wish I just had never stopped by this place.

I have bought 2 cars from Alamo City Chevrolet in 2017 they have an excellent sales team. They really make you feel comfortable in your purchase. As for the service is I meant oil changes you have to understand you may not be the only one getting that oil change and your gonna wait for it regardless. That every where you go from Walmart to Firestone. The only way your gonna get it fast if you change the oil yourself...lol

My experience THIS time wasnt that bad. More on the side of better than average. I believe the reps name is Catrina. She was pretty good and got the part that I needed for my truck within 24 hours and repaired (I THINK) within the next 24 hours. However, I lost trust in this particular dealership after my previous visit for a problem. It took me MONTHS just to bring my truck back to have the problem diagnosed because of lack of trust. Actually, I only stopped in to make an appointment because I was driving by and I was tired of CHEVY telling me they didnt know what was wrong (which happened again here at Alamo City).

Overall my experience with Alamo chevy has been OK. Purchased a brand new camaro. The purchase experience was good until you get to the final stage, which is talking to the finance department about your purchase. This person puts a bunch of pressure on you to get the extras, like extended warranty, gap, tire insurance and putting protection film on your car. This is were I have a big issue with. This person told me that if you purchase the extended warranty and the gap and you sell or trade in your car, he said bring in your odometer paperwork, and I will give you a full refund. So I did, to my surprise, its untrue. I did trade in my car, after under 2 years. And after turning in my paperwork, received only a partial refund. I have called the finance department 6 times and received no call backs, over a two week period. If you buy a car here great, all I have to say is dont fall for the bs of the finance department, they will tell you anything, to sell these extras, if you dont use it you will get it back. Its a gimmick for you to buy these services
