Vince & Rudy are outstanding, spent about two hours asking questions and learning about PCP. Walked in looking for and Air Force Texas SS and walked out laying money down on a FX M3 Compact. Hands down best place in South Texas.

My Alamo Airguns experience was great! The staff was very informative and patient as I had many questions. Their willingness to help was very refreshing in a climate where customer service doesn’t seem to be a focus anymore. I have no experience with airguns but know that if I have questions that I can call on these folks to help me ensure I am informed and comfortable with my rifle. Rudy is a very knowledgeable, friendly, customer service driven person who will take the time to help and teach you about the different guns and products he has to offer. He doesnt try to up sell you and is a very down to earth business person. We really enjoyed doing business with him and hope he does well. So nice to finally have a place here locally to purchase and review a PCP Airgun prior to purchase. Buying online doesnt compare with handling and actually getting feedback on a particular model. With so many to choose, it increases confidence in the selection and helps the buyer save money by selecting the correct platform for their needs.

Rudy was great. He didnt have the gun I wanted in stock (Hatsan Sortie Tactical) but let me know that he had ordered it and told me when it would be in. I came in a few days later to pick it up and I am quite happy with it. He gave me everything I needed at an amazingly low price and even helped me a few minutes past closing when I had trouble with the fill-adapter (air leak). I love this shop and will be coming back here for every airgun related need.

My wife and I visited the shop on a Saturday 20 minutes before closing. Only intended to pick up some pellets, walked out with a rifle. Rudy was an absolute pleasure to deal with and didnt try rushing me out so he could close up for the day. He definitely has a repeat customer in me.

Insanely good selection that you can pick up, hold and test. This is double important for me, as I am left handed. They have options in every price range (these arent walmart daisys though, so be realistic). Price is on par or better than online. Their scopes are terrific too. With all that, plus his knowledge, youll be set up in no time..

Great place for PCP air rifles, ammo, and optics. Small ~12 yd one lane range to test youre equipment. Nice owner, friendly help.

Just popped in the other day for a quick look. I prefer spring air rifles and knew this shop specializes in PCP guns. What a delight to meet Rudy and talk guns with him. To my delight and surprise I found he had a very nice selection of springers as well as his primary focus guns. He was friendly, very knowledgable and the gun prices were outstanding! None of the attitude I get from Nagels gun shop or others in town. Just a nice young man with a passion for guns and a desire to help others who are are interested. I became interested in 10 meter target shooting over a year ago when I retired. Bought a entry level completion rifle on line and loved it. I shot every day till I foolishly adjusted the trigger too much and broke it! Looked every where for for a place to get it fixed, with no luck. Thats when I found Rudy and Alamo Airguns right here in SA! Rudy said he wasnt a gunsmith, but hed look at over the weekend for me.I am so happy he got it fixed and saved me 4-6 weeks to send it back to be fixed. This place is for real and right here in SA. I bought a Zobria Kozak FC rifle a couple weeks ago. Rudy went through tons of options with me and explained in detail maintenance, proper use, safety and the various varieties of power from PSI to bar pressure to properly using the pump and letting the valve bleed out before taking the fitting out of the gun. Great service, great prices and he thoroughly knows his business. I will definitely return in the future for additional purchases.

Well what can say about Mr. Rudy the owner is an outstanding guy and very knowledgeable and helpful. I live in Houston,tx about 3 hrs away from San Antonio. I called Rudy on Saturday about purchasing a Fx impact x mk2 and which he had in stock! And other airgun stores have been sold out. So since I was working sat and couldn’t make a trip out there on Saturday I asked if he could open up for me on Sunday (Cause I couldn’t wait till the following week. LOL) To my surprise he said he would open and meet me there at noon! Well I arrived on Sunday, walked in and like a kid in a candy store was just in all at all the beautiful high powered Airguns. Well I bought the FX and a new scope and 3 tins of pellets and then Rudy gave me 2 real bowling pins to shoot at and take home with me!
