James Miller was so helpful and knowledgeable in explaining to me and my grandmother some great options for her hearing loss. I went in and was seen pretty quickly. There was 1 person ahead so I had a short wait. James came and got me for the appointment. He explained everything. After the testing instead of trying to sell me hearing aids he let me know that my hearing was still ok enough that I wouldnt need hearing aids right now.Unfortunately I dont remember the name of the woman in the front. She was very friendly. She offered water or coffee and even brought my insurance cards and ID over to me instead of sitting them on the counter and making me go get them. Getting up out of a chair repeatedly is hard on my knees and hips too. So I really appreciated this. I will definitely go back next year and would recommend you go here too.

This practice is absolutely fantastic! I have suffered in silence with tinnitus and diminished hearing acuity in my left ear for over 20 years. I received the most incredible hearing exam I have ever had and audiologist James Millers diagnosis and recommendations have made a huge improvement in my life! Not only can I hear out of my left ear, but my tinnitus is so much better! I appreciate the personal follow-up the first month to insure that everything was as smooth as possible. And Darlene has faithfully been my contact person to insure my appointments. The ability to have follow-up anywhere in the U.S. is one of the best things about the Miracle-Ear Hearing Aid team! James Miller is unparalleled to any company manager or owner that I’ve ever worked with. He takes his time to make sure everything is crystal clear to you and also listens very well. None of my questions go unanswered. He even delivered a new pair of aids to my daughters house on a Saturday because I was traveling and could not have gotten to the store for several days. That’s just the kind of guy he is. Darlene in the office is always helpful as well but most of my dealings have been with James. Had a follow up appointment maintenance schedule for my hearing aids. Darlene, office assistant was very professional, pleasant and made the visit enjoyable. She confirmed my appointment in advance and greeted me immediately upon entering the office. She took my hearing aids and replace the domes and filters in a very timely matter. I’ve been very pleased with the service and professional care by the staff since obtaining my hearing aids back in June 2020.

James Miller & his assistant, Darlene, always go above and beyond for their clients. Throughout this COVID-19 pandemic they have practiced every precaution when an in office visit is required. When a required visit for cleaning and checking my hearing aids is made, they meet clients curbside with their masks on, and return them promptly along with the next required appointment. Always professional yet caring for their clients.James is especially impressive and to be commended in my opinion. I purchased a new set of Bluetooth hearing aids in 2018, after they first came out. For almost two years I had issues with the batteries only lasting two days before having to be replaced, no matter what brand they were. There were other issues such as loss of hearing until I reset the battery. James somehow arranged to send them back to the manufacturer for evaluation but to no avail. They said they could not find a problem. When I picked them up James asked me to keep him informed about the battery usage, since I was his only client having that issue. In late 2020 he some how coerced someone that I needed a new set of hearing aids, which was granted. I am ecstatic to say the new set of hearing aids perform better in many ways over the previous pair and the batteries are lasting on average five days. I can not begin to thank James enough for seeing there was a problem and was finally able to get it rectified. I commend him for his resilience and taking care of his clients.Most sincerely,Monty R. I have been visiting James Miller at this Miracle Ear location for the past couple of months and cannot say enough good things about the professionalism and fabulous customer service. I am always treated as if I am the most important client of the day and they seem truly happy to be there for me. I have had hearing loss since about age 2. I am now 63 and had adapted to reading lips etc., because I had been told I was not a good candidate for hearing aids. James not only proved them wrong but totally exceeded all my expectations. I would have been delighted with a slight improvement but I am now hearing things I had never really heard before - such as my grandchildren telling me they loved me and the laughter around our dinner table. This location of Miracle-Ear is in the Carousel Court on Nacogdoches Road. I recently had the testing there and, as I knew already, was found to be in need of hearing aids. I had other companies’ ads and letters, but this location was very familiar to us, so I chose it. I met James Miller, and was very impressed with him, his knowledge, and the time he spent on my hearing difficulties. He will clean your ears to be certain you do have a problem, and that was where he spent most of his time the first visit: cleaning my ears. After testing, he explained all the charts produced by the tests, and it was quite obvious the technology used is the best. He put instruments in my ears, adjusted them to match the findings, and I was amazed at what I could hear. We worked together to find the right instruments for me, and I ordered them. After receiving my hearing aids, I’ve been back for follow up and he took the time to read my list of complaints (which were actually the normal problems most people have) and he made adjustments and it made a difference. I’m very pleased. Although I’m new to this experience and to this office, the receptionist, Veronica, has called to remind me of my appointments and she is very caring; when I call there she answers with her name and asks what she can do to make your day better. Makes you smile. I would recommend James and Veronica to friends and family.
