First time shop at this location during weekdays no long line at all like weekend Ms.Maritza assist me today, she is professional, kind, passionate and knowledgeable with products. Handbags kinda limited same as online probably corvid season. Thank you again ms.Maritza for your kindly assistance and keeping up with your good work made my day and happy with the purchase
Nicole was very helpful and provided options when the bag I was seeking was unavailable. Clean store. Takes precautions so you arent crowded and receive personalized assistance.
Beautiful store and easy to find. Excellent customer service (thank you Marirza) I just wish they had more purses in stock. They are literally flying off the shelves!
I have never had a bad experience. Reviews say snooty but it is a Louis Vuitton after all. If you go in knowing you belong no matter who you are or where you came from your energy will reflect how you are treated. I am always treated well. Texted. Offered great service. They have bent over backwards for me every time. They have no idea who I am. They don’t have to. I know I am there for what I want and need and they always provide. Great people.
My wife was soooooo happy! Plus they even gave her a personalized birthday card! Great store and Great service!!!
Alyssa is awesome! She was VERY kind and showed GREAT patience during my shopping experience at Louis Vuitton. Thank you!
I do not understand the low rating at this location. I have had nothing but pleasant experiences here. Even when an online order was canceled on me due to being out of stock the staff was more than helpful to ensure I found a bag I liked to replace it. Ive shopped at many locations in different states, and in comparison I much prefer this location.
My husband and I went into this store today, on a busy Saturday afternoon. We were lucky that there was not a line when we approached, as earlier we passed by and there was a short line. We were asked to sanitize our hands and then wait for an associate. We were then greeted by Jacob and he explained the current social distancing rules they had in place which included only being able to walk around with an associate, but that he could bring anything we wanted to see to us. I knew exactly what I wanted to see, and he brought me the items to look at. Jacob was AMAZING, so knowledgeable and helpful, I will definitely seek him out in the future! I’ve been to LV stores internationally, including Paris… and I was very happy with my experience at the La Cantera store. Times are weird, every store has their rules in place, but common sense and patience for the associates goes a long way!
I understand the need for social distancing but cant they just let a few people in at a time and let us browse around? Instead, we wait outside, then get called in and wait again for next available salesperson. Luckily, I got Jacob Martinez and he made the whole experience so much better. I was there to bring in a repair. But since I waited so long outside I decided to shop. Jacob was so friendly and helpful. Since I could not walk around, I just had to tell him what I was looking for and he would bring me options. So even though I was highly irritated that I had to wait I couldnt stay mad since Jacob was just awesome!
This was my first time at this location and I was very underwhelmed. My husband had visited several times and told me of the shotty customer service. The staff was very snotty and we definitely did not feel welcomed at all. We had to wait outside in the heat, which is semi-understandable because of COVID but not when we pay the prices we pay and the store is semi empty. I took my new purse in to get checked due to unusual creasing and felt that my husband and I were more of a nuisance to them than anything. I asked to look around and she walked ahead of us hurriedly which didn’t give us much of a chance to look let alone ask questions. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this store and will stick to shopping in Austin where we don’t feel looked down on.
Dont bother going to this store. I went with my daughter and I totally understand social distancing but they just took it to a whole other level. First they made us wait outside, then when we finally got in, we still had to wait on an attendant. After the sales person came she took us to the middle of the store and told us we couldnt walk around, that we could point to what we wanted to see and she would bring it to us. I mean we were right in the middle between 2 walls so we really couldnt see much! Not a pleasant shopping experience at all!
Krystal made my friend and I extremely uncomfortable. She was rude and did not make us feel welcome. Her approach was very “get what you need and get out” instead of allowing us to shop for the bag we wanted. Questions were half answered with a snooty attitude. The entire experience was unfortunate and not one a consumer should have when trying to purchase a luxury item.
This store does not honor the terms and conditions printed on their receipt and refuses to accept returns as promised. We recently purchased some costume jewelry from here, which was then worn out of the store. Before we even arrived home we realized that the alloy that was used to make the necklace was an irritant for my wife. The next day, less than 24 hours later we attempted to return the necklace as authorized on the receipt. They declined to accept it for return, citing an unadvertised internal policy about accepting worn jewelry, and pointed to a comment on the receipt about having worn it out. The policy for returns however, is very clear for the type of item I purchased: 30 days with no stipulations. I spoke to the on duty manager, who expressed that I should feel guilty for potentially causing mega-conglomerate subsidiary Louis Vuitton to not be able to resell the necklace because its been worn already, losing critical income for them. This is the same Louis Vuitton that burns unsold bags annually to keep their perceived value high. I asked to be contacted and for the store managers number, and was given her card. The number on the card however is the corporate number, and they could not assist me and directed me back to the store. I have yet to be contacted as well. Buyer beware.
Gifted my GF the wrong size sandals. When she went to exchange them for her correct size she was told by the client advisor “Colleen Thacker” that there was a limit to times that she could exchange the unworn, wrong size sandals (which is a lie because there’s no limit)… but that she would make an exception just this once. Her attitude was rude and insulting. And refused to get her manager when we asked to speak with a manager. Horrible advisor.
Very bougie. I did not appreciate the fact that they were turning people away if they did not have something specific they wanted. Further, you have to have an attendant worker with you the whole time you are in the store. No thank you. Ill go to the Houston Galleria where I can shop in peace.
Mario was amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly!
Customer service has gone down hill compared to the LV store in Neiman. I understand caution and social distance, but these employees are ridicules. I waited outside for over 45 minutes to make a purchase while they were chatting amongst themselves within the store. From now on, I will be going to Saks at North Star.
I purchased a bag on Sunday and had an issue with it. I went yesterday to see wha could be done after customer service told me to go into the store closest to me. I was greeted and basically told the issue wasn’t their problem. I immediately asked to speak to the manager who told me the same thing and that I was lucky to even have the bag. When I said I wanted to return it I was denied. Worst service and this isn’t the first time despite multiple purchases. Won’t be going back to this store and likely won’t be shopping Louis Vuitton again.
It was not a luxurious experience at all! The customer service was terrible and the salespeople were not helpful at all! I went to the Gucci store right after and had an excellent experience! This store is not the typical Louis Vuitton experience like Ive had before.
Place doesn’t even answer the phone even when I stand right outside the store. Customer service sucks for such a high end store.
Absolutely outstanding staff and service. We couldnt have asked for a better experience. They were so helpful and even though we didnt get anything at the time we still felt like we were the most important people there. I highly recommend this location.
Like the reviews say, don’t waist your money and time here, customer service was bad. Yesterday Me and my friend go to store refill my perfume but staff tell me pay first,I had not previously experienced. Maybe staff think I don’t have money to refill perfume.. I don’t want comeback again..
Even during the pandemic, the store’s directions were well instructed and the employees were helpful, as well as polite. I made a purchase with Ana who exuded nothing but a friendly personality and a great soul. If you ever go to this store to spoil yourself or others ask for Ana. You won’t regret it.
Great service!
Atwood is a nice and professional employee. We got a purse and nice wallet that matches. He knows his Louis Vuitton products. We will be back for our next purchase and will let our friends know of this San Antonio store.
Don’t go in, people who work their are very rude and snotty.
For a high end luxury store you’d think they’d have better customer service. Even their security was rude, shopping was limited and rushed. It was WELL worth the trip to the Austin location.
The experience I have had With this location has honestly left such a bad feeling in my mind whenever I think of Louis Vuitton! I ordered a card holder and asked it to be delivered to my apartment. I never received the package even though when I tracked it, it said delivered! I have called customer service and each time they tell me someone at the store will contact me. It has been 3 weeks since I reported the package as lost and I have heard nothing. I have followed up at least 4 times now. Each time I am on hold for at least 30 mins. I honestly just want my refund and I do not know if I will ever buy from Louis Vuitton again.I’ve never experienced such TERRIBLE customer service.
This is definitely the worst Louis Vuitton location that I have ever been to and I have been to a few. Customer service here is horrendous, I tried to give them a chance but again and again they fail miserably. I am not sure where they got these sales associates from when they opened but their continued inability to provide even mediocre service after now open all these months is just a reflection on poor management. And I know current times are difficult for us all but their inadequacies were apparent long before this current situation had started. Having said that, if you do not want to be open then just close. If a person is not allowed to walk in further than the front door, why be open? I work in the medical field and not familiar with being rude and obnoxious as a preventative measure for COVID however I guess since this will just push away long time loyal customers, it does in some way work. I am not sure this is ideal for the brand and again if you do not want to provide service during these times then that is understandable, just close and allow people to order online. Or we can just go to another boutique since it seems like this is the only one that is using the rude and obnoxious approach to prevent COVID. Stay away, drive to Austin instead or just go to Saks, you will be glad you did. If you do go to Saks, ask for Lilly, she is awesome.
My husband and I came to this location with our 6 month old baby boy and this has got to be the worst experience we have had at a Louis Vuitton. For a high end luxury store, you would expect to feel welcomed and greeted with a friendly atmosphere. Instead, we felt very uncomfortable. Just like any other store, when my husband and I shop, we split up. He was roaming around to the mens side to look around and the sales associate said he wasnt allowed to do that and that we had to stick together as in we had to literally be next to each other. I found this rather odd as everyone was wearing a mask, being safe and there were only 4 other customers in the store. And as I was roaming through the store, the sales associate said that I wasnt allowed to do that and if I wanted to look at something she could escort me there. I even said to her, wow, you guys are very strict here. and her response was, yes we are. It just basically made me feel like, if you arent going to buy anything, they werent going to give you the time of day and that you can leave the store because you are wasting their time. The sales associate wasnt very personable or as friendly until she knew for sure I was going to make a purchase. Another thing my husband complained about was the front door guard being rude and had a staring problem. I realize that the safety of your staff and clients is a priority, but atleast let them feel welcomed and comfortable in the store. Its a high end luxery store so treat your clients with respect and class. The outlet Gucci store in San Marcos treats you better then this place. I will not be returning to this location. It was my first and last time. Please use this review as constructive criticism-you will lose clients and business from these types of negative experiences.
I have several pieces and have not had any probs with them until now .. I went in to show them my wallet due to the stitching coming undone. The glaze was still in place so it was clearly a defect. I had my receipt and box. Spoke to Colleen Thacker. She was very rude and short with me!! She did not want to be bothered with my customer service issue!! She didn’t apologize or even seem to care. You could tell she didn’t want to be bothered. Terrible customer service!! She needs to re-do her training in customer service and how to treat guests who have defects in their merchandise the same as a guest who is there purchasing a new item!! Very disappointed with her and would have expected A LOT MORE FROM A LUXURY Brand! Will never buy again and will let my friends and family know not to purchase from this location because their customer service obviously doesn’t go beyond a purchase!
Possibly the worst Louis Vuitton store in the United States, I ordered from the website and had it delivered here. Went to the store a couple days later to pick up my order in which I was not really welcome, mind you I had already brought an item. You have to wait due to limited people inside the story which i dont mind, the security individual was not friendly and lady who helped me was not helpful to say the least. I provided her my order number in which she went to the back to bring my item out, once she hand me my bag it looked like they had opened it and went through my packaging to either switch out my item with the same bag the not so newer item from inside their stores inventory. Bag did not have serial numbers and leather did not seem to have that usual louis Vuitton smell. Went i got home that is when I started to question my order from this store. I was rushed out the minute the lady started talking to me. My order was not wrapped up and from the looks of it, they just threw my bag inside a box without any great packaging presentation. I repeat stay away from this store, the best ones are in Houston and Las Vegas, they take their time with you and always make sure its an experience.
Friendly, helpful staff!
Order online and come to return it and they said dint accept it
Juan was very helpful
Nice store as expected. They are requiring face masks and ask that you use hand sanitizer when you arrive. Selection seemed low, but they could have more stuff out if view.
Just got back from Orlando, Florida and the Mall at Millenia. This is an upscale mall with many designer stores in excluding Louis Vuitton. They had over 50+ different bags along with clothing, shoes, boots, accessories and more. Why build a whole brand new store and have no merchandise. When I visited I saw maybe 15 hand bags. They looked like they were already going out of business. Where’s the stock?
Great store I guess but WHY would they open another one that only has bags when there are 2 already, one being less than 50 meters away. Was REALLLLY hoping and also told that they would have ready to wear. Please bring these to the store.
I buy all my purses from here! Super friendly staff and incredible selection of new designer products! Plus its right by a Neiman Marcus :)
TL:DR: The unbridled courage demonstrated by a particular employee at this location is the sole reason it is getting 5-stars from me.We went to this location to pick up an online order for my wife’s first LV. That little detail is vital because I would not give this location (or any in San Antonio for that matter) 5 stars as no one offered to help us call corporate and ask for a specific color combo that was actually not out of stock online. Apparently, this is a common error for the online store inventory system and store employees have the ability to call corporate to make a request for their clients... something none of all three locations—which we visited in person—elected to do.Regardless, this particular store gets 5 stars from me because of the simple action taken by one man. As we came in to pick up the purse, he opened the door for us, welcomed us, and pointed us in the direction of the hand sanitizer which he jovially remarked was a necessary precaution for browsing their stores due to COVID-19. He then politely asked us to wait for an available advisor, and silently stood there awaiting more customers. What truly set this gentleman apart was his willingness to stand up for a fan of LV and the candor with which he did.As he inevitably overheard my conversation with my wife, he must have clued in on me suggesting that my wife get a Zippy wallet as “it’s only $__(don’t remember the amount)__.” My comment was meant to be light as my frugal wife was riddled with guilt for getting an LV in the first place and was adamant about only getting the purse at the time. I, of course, wanted to get her more (she’s amazing!).The gentleman by the door quickly spun around, looked at me, and asked if I had an issue with her shopping in the store.>>>Now think about that for a moment
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have bought over 50 Louis Vuitton items. Because of my treatment at this store I will not buy Louis Vuitton again. I would have given zero stars if that was possible.
Great addition to La Cantera! Already loving my first purchase and will be back for sure❤️
Like the reviews say, don’t waist your money and time here, customer service was bad also couldn’t even browse to see what I want, still got what I needed but limited to what they brought me, I’d go to the Austin location instead
I would have given it zero stars if they had that option. Ana gave us the worst customer service possible. Very rude and disrespectful. Ana, you work at the mall and your commission comes from the money people spend in the store. Please get over yourself.
Awesome
Why dont you ever answer the phone! Very frustrating.
1 hour to change a purse
As a first impression of this store, I’m honestly dissatisfied with quality of customer service . My sister and I were rushed out of the store today . I mean I understand the store was about to close but it was very unsettling . We’re huge fans of the brand and it was a very hostile visit . I really hope this distasteful encounter wasn’t racially motivated .
Employees are rude!
Very rude staff
THEY GAVE US A TOURVERY FORMAL
