First experience with them was positive and rated 5 stars. Second experience is the last. Rude, lying salesman (Gilbert). Hardly anything on lot to sell. Build and delivery time kept changing every time we spoke with them. Did not keep us informed of status and calls not returned. Took our business elsewhere.

I was told Solitaire was the best mobile home to buy turns out salesman Gilbert told lies after lies about factory orders and dates. oh and restrooms were filthy thrash cans in womens and mens were over the top. POOR MANAGEMENT at every level. called corporate and no response yet, Still waiting. could not post picturers of filthy restrooms

Love the homes. Really wanted to buy. But sales people are not very knowledgeable about escrow laws.

Hello everyone,I’m a customer to this home builder from Deming NM, my Solitaire Land mark was purchased three years go from Glenn the head supervisor over the San Antonio housing lot. My purchasing experience was awesome because no financing was involved, house was bought cash out right. I’ve waited three years so my review can be Honest and Forthcoming with 100% factual information so YOU can make better decisions and stay in control of your purchase. Carmen who is a fantastic lady that works behind the scenes has been a great deal of help, you will meet her once the buying process has started on your new home. My house hasn’t structurally given me any issues since living in the home...... B U T......I’ve got some serious complaints.....my paint still flakes where the Ceiling meets the wall (all across the house), ceiling fans still shake vigorously (after being replaced several times), locations all over the house pop and Squeak (even fixed several times), utility drawers in kitchen and across the house stopped working within the second year of owning the home and also the craftsman’s ship isn’t even sub-par because they build these homes in the matter of weeks not months. My biggest complaint over all the others is my carpet issues, I paid extra money to Glenn (solitaire) for a more higher end carpet that wouldn’t fall apart within the first few years, my carpet didn’t even last a year and never could get them (GLENN) to come out and fix the issues. High traffic areas the carpet would mat down and then disappear, I was sold on falls dreams but what’s more disappointing is I’ve got several phone calls in-to have the matter looked at and couldn’t get anyone to come out. The carpet is trash FYI, don’t fall for the carpet upgrade. I plan on posting a video on YouTube, I’ll update my post here once a video is uploaded. Thanks and hope this helped.

Customer Service is definitely not their best quality, they will tell you anything you want to hear in the beginning process of getting approved, especially when working with Gilbert, his favorite quote is Ive been doing this for 25 years and I know what Im doing 🙄. I guess if you say that enough, you start to believe yourself. Needless to say we did not purchase a home.from them.

These people are thieves and liars! Gilbert will tell you anything to get your money, he will lie to you about finding land in the location you want, he will lie to you about their refund policies, he will be as nice as can be until you figure out he is ripping you off and everything he told you were lies! Stay away from these people, they are no good!

Messaged to get info and possibly try to get a home through them back on January 11th. Up until this day, no one ever contacted me. You all need a better system to contact those who wish to buy or have questions.

We bought a single wide 2 years ago and everyone was amazing! They helped us and even took off an additional $2,600 the purchase price due to us getting ripped off that amount at a previous company we tried. They always provided the best customer service and didnt stop caring the day we got the home in. The quality of the home is amazing and 2 years later it still looks like the day we bought it! We are planning to go back and upgrade to a double wide soon.

Good place to buy manufacture home

On top being a first home buyer and getting a great deal on a home, the customer service has been outstanding!!! I had a few issues after the home was delivered and they were quick to help and never tried to blow the problem off. Would definitely recommended and give more stars if I could!!!

Solitaire Homes (or Elliott Homes) are no doubt the best manufactured homes available in Texas. Whats an upgrade for all other manufacturers is a standard for Solitaire. For example: tape and texture walls everywhere (incl. closets), 2x6 walls (high insulation), real wood cabinets, thermal pane windows (all homes are Energy Star certified), plywood floors and tons of other construction features. This costs but the quality is visible. However, their floorplans feel like from a previous decade - their open floorplans arent as open, and master bathrooms feel old-fashioned and too small. Solitaire needs to refresh their floorplans, thats for sure. At the same time, interior can be improved over the years, while construction cant. And thats what Solitaire homes shine at.
