I had an appt on Sunday at 8am and was welcomed quickly! I dropped off my car to have the alignment done and had them replace the spark plugs. I was called at around 11am to pick them up which was perfect since I was out running errands. Price was reasonable and even offered a free car wash coupon. Awesome job the Honda team!

Jake took care of my service. He’s super accommodating. I had a bad experience from my prior oil change but he took care of it and he followed through on his word. I moved to Fremont but I know Jake always handles everything for me and that’s the only reason I stayed with Capitol Honda.

Drove in for B1 service. Roy was assigned to my auto.He patiently explained the procedure to me, then directed me to the lounge. Busy day, so I found that it would be a long wait. I hit a curb and blew out my front tire Sunday afternoon. Called Honda Capitol as they were about to close. I was able to bring my car in. Rene greeted me, checked the car in and was professional and helpful despite my showing up after the end of his shift., I received a prompt and early phonecall Monday from Rene after my tire was replaced. He went out of his way to have part of my bill covered by warranty. I am very please with the service provided by Rene!

My first experience was terrible, bad service representative.However, my 2nd experience was great. The representative was friendly, heard me out and performed the services that I needed. I am glad they also found a leak that was covered by warranty and fixed it. They use Pennzoil and I love how smooth my vehicle sounds.

The general service was not done correctly the first time and when I called to have it fixed (again), the customer representative was god awful. Thomas, the manager, was great! However, the front desk receptionist, Rosa, was terrible. She has a terrible phone demeanor and even went so far as to put me on hold without letting me know. Due to her terrible customer service, I will not be back to this dealership.

Today we purchased a battery after my wife brought the car for another issue.I do not think we needed this service, and when I called in to find out details the service team took a very defensive tone. I tried to explore why a frequently used car that has been in service just a couple months ago, with no warning signs would suddenly need a brand new battery, but I was told that essentially the warning lights wont help, and batteries can just die. The statements on battery warnings seems to directly contradict the statements made by sales agents when I called them to ask the same.This place was very convenient for a few years, but I wont be coming back as I lost trust in the intentions of this service team. This is not the first time I felt Im being offered service thats not needed, but today I wasnt there personally to decline it. Whether I needed a battery today is debatable, but I think I can find a place that will sell one to me in a way that doesnt seem so sketchy.

Not only did we purchase our vehicle from Capitol Honda three years ago but we’ve continued to take it there for its routine services. Customer service has always been excellent and straightforward. Thanks to employees like Alex Campos who keep us well informed about our vehicle service schedule and does a good job explaining everything to us in advance. Turn around time is always quick and I don’t ever feel I’m being oversold additional maintenances. I’m glad I have a service team I can trust.

Brought our Honda Odyssey van here a few months ago when one of our sliding doors started acting up. They fixed the problem under extended warranty and all was good... until the same door started acting up again.We brought it back to Capital and they took their time to diagnose the problem extensively and then replaced many parts to ensure the problem wouldnt come back.I worked with Rebecca and she did everything right; advocated for the customer (us), set clear expectations up front on how long the fix would take and followed through on said timeline. Ill be specifically requesting to work with her again if I ever need to go back. Thanks, Rebecca!

The lady that assisted me was fabulous. I was there for service and had dropped part of my key fob in the engine compartment. She asked the technician to see if they could retrieve the key fob. The fob was found at the bottom of the engine compartment. She saved me over $300. Appreciate the staff going the extra mile

I went in to get a recall done for my car. They successfully completed the recall (this is the only reason I’m not giving one star). But they didn’t put the car fully back together. There was a side panel laying between the driver and passenger seats that I had to put back into place myself.In the process of doing the recall, they cracked my windshield. After a day of back and forth conversation, they agreed to replace the windshield. To get them to agree to this, I had to tell them that I had purchased the car a few weeks ago, and the day before I got the recall done, I had gotten the car registered. It’s an out-of-state vehicle, so I had to get it physically inspected, and the dmv would have informed me of a giant crack in my windshield.At one point during the conversation, Steve said something along the lines of “you seem like good people I know you wouldn’t be lying to me to get a new windshield.” They cracked my windshield and then insinuated that I was lying about the crack to get a new windshield.They replaced the windshield yesterday and left bits of plastic debris in my car. This morning, I noticed a defect in the windshield right at eye level on the driver’s side.The whole experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I just really wish I had gone elsewhere for the recall. If I had, they wouldn’t have cracked my perfectly good windshield and replaced it with a defective one.

The service advisor I got was Kim on Sunday. I took my car to the dealership after our mechanic informed us that the OEM battery was bad, which was still under warranty by honda. Kim wanted to charge me to change replace the battery, so I explained that I have warranty and its the battery thats bad which brings here. He didnt seem very accommodating, unwilling took the car in. 10 mins later he declared that its not the battery amd something else. I had to bring the car back to my mechanic and at that piont he tested the battery again and produced report that the battery is bad. Sunday was spent back and forth We had to wait for Monday to take the car back to the dealership and my wife had to miss work.

As trustworthy as mechanic services get. You pay a premium but you get what you pay for here for serious jobs.My opinion:Do the regular maintenance yourself, oil changes, filter replacements, spark plugs, etc. To your comfort, as that stuff tends to be overpriced in my opinion since its such a simple quick job for what they charge; that said most people could care less about maintaining their own cars anyway so you either do it, dont do it, or pay and they have a warranty on work for 1 year or 12k mi whichever comes first which is nice.

When I bought my new car, they only had one key in stock so I needed to get another key programmed. I scheduled my appt easily online. Raul, the salesperson who sold me the car, set the expectation it would take ~1 hour.When I checked in the morning of my appt, an associate was with me soon after arriving. Jon took care of me, including a free car wash. I was surprised when my car/key was ready after only 35-40 minutes. The waiting area was clean and offered free treats as well as a vending machine. The only bummer for some was the coffee machine was down. I’d brought coffee.

I purchased a Used Honda certified 2010 Honda Pilot at Capitol Honda about 4 years ago. When it came time to get it serviced I was a bit leery about taking it to a dealer but I did anyways. I am so glad I did. I was lucky enough to have Ashley Sanchez as my service adviser. She was very knowledgeable and honest. She made recommendations for services that were needed right away and also made me aware of what we should keep an eye on. She even had the shuttle take me home and later pick me back up. I have since returned to her for all my service needs. I have recommended her to several of my friends that own Hondas.

Went for an oil change. The overall experience was positive. The service advisor took some time to attend the waiting vehicles. And the oil change took about 1 and a half hours. It seemed like they were slightly understaffed.The lounge area where I waited was clean and had a decent wifi connection. There was also a TV and comfortable chairs and couches. There was free coffee from a machine too.

Kenneth Calafato helped me with my Honda repairs last week and after a nightmare at pep boys in sj. My car was finished in 4 days and it needed a new engine block. He was very helpful and attentive keeping me in the loop every step of the way. Explaining exactly what needs to be done and why. Customer service was excellent starting with him to the receptionists. Friendly smiles and I will definitely be going to take my car there again for any work it may need. Got my smog check done at the service center and the staff were extremely nice, going out of their way to fit me in before they closed (note: mechanics stop working at 5 even though they stay open until 6 - that last hour is just for pickups). However, the smog check was close to double the cost of what you can pay elsewhere, so probably not the cheapest place to get car service.

Thomas in the service department really took care of us. This was an unexpected problem we had with my truck. He made sure all of the work was done properly. He made sure I had the wheel lock that was missing when we bought the truck. First time dealing with the wheel & I found out it was not in the truck when AAA arrived. Thomas made sure we had what we needed so this would not happen again.

I live about a mile away from a Honda dealer who provide service and drive about 15 miles to the Capitol Honda Service Center. Today Valery Mendez reminded me why I go out of my way. More than a friendly person, who knew her job, she made sure I was update as soon as she was, cut a few corners to fit my schedule and needs, and helped me save (a lot) of money. How far will you go for less stress when your car breaks down or needs maintenance?

Alex Campos was excellent, covered the cost of a Lyft home (11 miles away) due to long wait times. Though it took them 4.5 hours to do my oil change, the scheduling process was easy, they met me very shortly after my reservation time, and were kind and professional throughout. Def recommend this location, but if on a weekend definitely plan on not having your car for 5 hours.

Ive been going there since 1993. They just keep getting better and better in customer service and convenience. Anybody who thinks car repair at the dealer is overpriced doesnt know that Ive never a had a bad repair or a repair done incorrectly at Capitol Honda. No stress or time wasted in poorly done repairs. Brakes last twice as long as traditional places and price is about the same. I hope I can and will always own a Honda.

I arrived at the Capitol Honda service department with a nail in my back tire. I did not have an appointment, but the Daniel the service advisor was kind enough to work me in to his busy schedule and the wait time was not very long. They fixed my tire and made time to change my oil and and I was on my way, all patched up and rolling again, very quickly. I love this service department, so glad I found it, and I never take my car anywhere else because of their reliability and accessibility.
