Highly recommended salesman: Donavan Jones. He helped get us into a car that we had been searching months for. The car had a few minor details that he pushed for them to be fixed before purchasing. He was able to get me the rate I was settled on and able to get me the right amount for my trade in.. The follow up with the service department was great, they put me in a rental in comparison to what I was driving for comfort. They have a scheduling assistant that reminds you of the details of the appointment and when theyre ready to check you in. My wife and I had an excellent experience leasing at Capitol Kia. We were pleasantly surprised at the customer service focus of the dealership. I have had some pretty horrible experiences as Nissan dealerships and even the Stevens Creek Kia, but Capitol Kia was different.Eugene was helpful and took his time working with us to get the Kia Niro Plug in Hybrid at the price we were looking for. Eugene did not rush us and answered all of our questions about the Kia Niro. He took his time to show us all of the features of the car. It was nice to get to know Eugene and make a real human connection with him. It is rare to find this at car dealerships as they are always so focused on making the sale.Would absolutely recommend my friends and family to go here!
What a bad service, first they don’t know what they are doing, they let you wait for three hrs to make you feel they are checking but they don’t. I have my car only for one year and half I told them I have a problem with the steering and the break they said they checked and everything is fine . After they I had car accident I couldn’t control the steering as it was out of control … just think before you buy a Korean car bad quality …

It was my first time and there are some dealerships that will try to take advantage of that, but Jose here at Capitol Kia was very helpful in letting me know what would best suit me for my first car. Don’t buy from them, they ran my credit at least 3-4 times and after all that waiting they finally agreed to take my pre-approved auto loan. I had my young son with me so I suspect they felt I would cave early because of that but I never did. It took me to say buh - bye before they honored my wishes.

Came here for a vehicle sat down and went over some numbers. They said the banks were closed and they would get back to me tomorrow with an update. I called several times with no update so I stopped in and they told me. Oh sorry we sold it. I understand first come first serve but they could have called and let me know to save me time.
Both times I visited KIA capitol expressway. The customer service was a good experience and they were willing to work with me on purchasing the cars and making it happen with the #s. I overall had a good experience. I liked the fact they are not on you like leaches and understand if its not what one is looking for. Service Department has never fixed a thing. But always great excuses, like keep the cloth cover closed to keep my sunroof from leaking in water. Or the tech that never noted level on a oil leak, so they claimed i didnt have one, unless i completed their test again, i did, then they explained i had a major leak, kept the car for a week and only replaced a sensor they replaced the last time, corrected nothing.I am a happy KIA customer, just not with the Service Department.
I just purchased a used car from Capitol Kia to prepare for a cross-country move.They were very accommodating with helping us to see and potentially test drive several different cars spread out across a few of their DGDG dealer lots.Jay and Julia were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicles, and were a pleasure to work with. This dealership has great service with friendly staff.The showroom is spacious and has few cars to watch. For those who have their car on service there is a customer lounge with tea/coffee and popcorn and TVs.There is a small playroom for kids with TV showing Disney channel and little table but there are no toys in there. I saw some Lego Duplo back in the parts store in a box, so probably you need to ask if they can give some toys for kids.The service was good and professional.

I don’t recommend this Kia WHAT SO EVER. My car was originally in their shop for overheating and they somehow came to the conclusion there was something wrong with the radiator. Which is odd when my car is practically new. Got it back a few days later, after radiator was changed, and on my way to work the heating system gage was was overheating to the MAX. I was scared that my cars motor was going to go out. Called kia to tell them to give me a tow since they didn’t fix the problem. Towing company and Kia were unable to give us a ride to receive yet another rental car before enterprise closed. My car ended up being in their shop for another 3 weeks. When I called to get updates I was repeatedly told someone would call me back and I never once received a call back from them. They literally could not find the problem. I had recommended some tests and things to be checked and it wasn’t until I asked for their director that they took the advice I gave after a couple weeks. At the same time our sunroof was extremely slow and they knew from the start it needed to be fixed. After those three weeks they only fixed the thermostat and never fixed our sunroof. Worst service and experience by far.
I was overwhelmed by my first car leasing experience but Julia, Jose, and Denis were such a huge help and got me exactly where I needed to be. I will definitely be coming back to Capitol Kia for my next vehicle!

Very Disappointed on the service that was given to my car I had an appointment for a service oil change and had to wait 4 hours till my car was completed upon retrieving my vehicle 10 minutes into leaving the dealership my check engine light and my oil pan light went off my car started stalling and once pulling over to the side of the road we noticed a trail of oil coming from the bottom of my vehicle.
My car salesman was Brandon. Hands down the best experience I had going to a car dealership. I bought a Stinger Gt1 and Brandon made my process of purchasing my car smooth and easy. I highly recommend buying from Capitol Kia and specifically ask for Brandon!
Our car got totaled and we needed to find a vehicle fast. We looked online and Capitol Kia had affordable prices on used SUVs. Most of their prices are below the Kelly Blue Book. I called their main line, spoke to their salesman Will who told me the vehicle is still available and he would be ready with the keys for me. I got there in an hour. Will and the staff at Capitol Kia provided excellent customer service and got us out in a timely manner. I talked to a technician there that stopped by to visit on his day off!! It felt like family and they treated me like family. Now I understand why they have a lot of positive reviews. Highly recommend this dealership in the Bay Area. Its worth the drive.
So I was looking for a replacement for my 2004 Honda Pilot and I scoured online resources and finally settled on the 2021Kia Telluride EX. In the time of our global pandemic, I was hesitant to have any extended exposure and was pleased beyond belief to be able to order this vehicle online and over the phone! The ease of this purchase as entirely due to the great efforts of Capitol Kias Dir of Online Sales, Donavan Jones! Note that I did test drive the Telluride prior to my purchase but at another unnamed dealership.I found the exact model, type and color from the Capitol dealership. Regardless what you may think, when you work with a dealer like Donavan, it so easy and professional. No upselling, no unnecessary addons and priced appropriately. Also, to note, they dont sell on commission but they do need to make a reasonable profit. And if needed, reasonable financing through Kia.The whole transaction took less than 90 minutes on the phone. We set up a delivery time 2 days later and exactly on time as promised, there was my new beauty! He even took photos of my new vehicle and sent them to me before delivery (one is attached). Yes, Donavan himself delivered the vehicle, exercising the appropriate COVID-19 protocols. That meant a 50 minute drive to my home. Awesome! Once he arrived, he reviewed the many safety highlights and basics of my new car. We signed the papers and the deal was done.Most importantly, he followed up the next day to be certain that I was 100% satisfied with my purchase (I was 110% satisfied) . This is one of the most luxurious mid-sized SUVs on the market. It out paces anything in its class including the old gold standard, Honda Pilot And its so very quiet!If you are considering a new car, particularly a Kia, Donavan Jones and Capitol Kia is where you need to go. I recently purchased a vehicle through Andrew Torres at Capitol Kia. I needed to trade in my car and was very specific on the type of used car I was looking for. Andrew was very helpful in finding the vehicle I wanted as well as helping me get the trade in value I needed on my car. The best thing about Andrew is he is not your normal car salesman. He is genuine, gives you the information you need and does not pressure you to buy something that is not what you are looking for. The customer service through Andrew was great and I definitely recommend him if you are thinking about purchasing a new car. My trade in was a Subaru and the car I ended up purchasing was a Mazda, so even if you dont land on a Kia, Andrew is the guy for you!
Book kia Telluride upfront. I want special configuration which KIA barely makes due to high demands. Brandon help me with that and keep me posted all the time every truck load. Finally found the one i was looking for. Thank you Brandon! You rocks bro.
Worst service ever!!! Be careful they will add non mandatory services and charge extra. On my 10k maintainance they added crank case cleaning, hvac sanitization, fuel system, cabin filter that are non mandatory by manufacturer. They added extra labor for this useless services and charge my wife for 400 bucks total. Thanks to this service I decided to get rid of KIA car after lease ends and do not buy this brand in future. Mr Jonathan D Morales is service advisor who performed this service. Your luck I was busy at that time and my wife did not understand in cars. KIA service is not recommended they will charge you 2 time more than it actually cost!
Awesome experience working with sales reps Andrew and ONeal. There were some hiccups finalizing my new car purchase, but the sales team managed the entire process very well. Their communication was excellent; they always responded fast; they always got straight to the point. Highly recommend giving them a try if youre in the market for a new/used KIA.

Capitol Kia screwing customers again they did a recall service a week ago and now back in for service a week later. They can’t help customers claiming computers are down and a week till they can get work done on your car! KIA HQ is investigating but they seem to be hit hard too by all the recalls! Don’t buy a Kia you have been warned .

So amazed that Kia would put a $6k markup on their Tellurides in the middle of a pandemic. And it’s more amazing that they would say they think that dealership markup is, and I quote, “worthy of the luxury brand that Kia is.” I guess Kia Tellurides are worth $6k more than they are suggested by actual Kia. I purchased a used car from Kia Capitol, my car broke down after many years of service. Im unemployed due to the coronavirus so I wasnt able to be financed. I found a used 2007 Honda in excellent condition, and Im paid $4,000 out the door. no its not a new car, and no Im not balling out of control in a brand new car, but I have a very nice will Kept car. the engine sounds great, the inside of the car looks brand-new the air-conditioning the sunroof everything works on the car, I truly feel blessed because I was taking Uber and Lyft every day at $20 each way. Im overjoyed that I found this car for that price. I would recommend Capitol Kia to anyone looking for a new or used car.

This was my first ever car purchase and I was so happy to have gotten my car here. It was like my second place I went to looking for a car and I was really distraught because the last place tried to scam me. When I got here Eugene Levins helped me out. He was really sweet and seemed like he genuinely was trying to help. He kept on trying to make the car work for me. He was honest with me about amount, explained to me what was going on, and just held my hand through the process. I feel like if you are a first time car owner and nervous about the process, then come to this dealership and ask for Eugene.
We never buy a car on the first day of just looking/browsing for possibly a not-in-rush later purchase, especially when we already own 3 working cars between two of us. It would take us numerous re/visits to all types of sellers, thorough researches on sellers offer & our options, and after many nights of sleep on the decision making on finalizing a purchase. But, on the very first one we laid our eyes on, took on a test drive on the same day...twice, and great customer service from the salesman (that was very personable beyond what we expected from sales person named, Zander) we were rushing to our bank to cut cashiers check. ;)

We set up an appointment to finalice the deal the very next day. I spent about 3 hours or so that Sunday evening at the dealer and drove away in a new vehicle. I have to say it was the smoothest car buying experience I have ever experienced. I highly recommend you ask for Michael Ngo if you ever decide to go into this dealership. He was a very humble and kind thru it all.

I had a really wonderful experience at Kia on Capitol. I felt very lucky to have had Andrew help me find the Telluride I liked and could afford. I knew that it was a good car, as it is the highest rated SUV by Consumer Reports.Andrew was not pushy at all and provided me with helpful information and numbers. The energy in the dealership was positive and the people who work there were all friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Esmi,the finance director, helped me sign the paperwork and provided great customer service. I am very wary of dealerships (I went to another local Kia and their mark up was 2x higher on the same car) but I have to say that Kia Capitol made this experience pleasant and fun. I would refer my friends and family here for sure. I love my new car!!!

Needless to say I loved my experience there my wife and myself went in with little hope on finding a good deal, but with the help of quindell Q for short we were able to purchase not only the car Ive wanted for so long but at a great price. The team here wants nothing more then to sell their cars for great prices to amazing people. Donavan Jones, a salesman along with the finance director Esmi Alcaraz from Capitol Kia Dealer (755 Capitol Expressway Auto Mall, San Jose, CA 95136) scammed us with many wrong information.1) Donavan asked us to come to the dealer and finished the buy out my leased vehicle and that was a must. Its wrong since we can handle it via customer service instead of going to them. They failed to mention they charge extra fees for processing the docs. They didnt even disclose it on the docs.2) Donavan told us he needed our SSN even though we already had an approval loan from my credit union. He also said he wont initiate a hard inquiry on our credit reports. He lied and scammed me.3) Donavan told us the buyout amount on Kia finance website quoted us did not include the sales tax. Its a lie because it included the sale tax. (almost plus 10% more on top of the final buyout we suppose to pay) KIA Finance customer service confirmed it. The difference was about $2000 which is not small.4) Esmi, charged us $300 fee and $450 final check fee. Per the lease contract, if we buy out the lease at the originating dealer the dealer fee would be waived. Emi denied such agreement even though its in our contract. We brought our car in for the periodic inspection and oil change. However they still wanted to charge $450 for making sure its safe to release. We said there was no need for checking since its already been checked at the oil change. On a side note, another nearby dealer would only charge $250 and they were willing to waive it since we just got our car checked.They scammed us many above issues and damage my credit report with unnecessary hard inquiry. We cancelled the deal after finding out about their lies. We asked them unground my car so we can finish the buyout process with Kia Finance Customer Service but they sill havent done it an entire week later.
Ive purchased 2 cars from this dealer, but cannot recommend. Issues with service department (in which they failed to properly inspect or diagnose an oil light issue, and instead blamed another service provider). Issues returning a leased vehicle (in which I was told that they are doing me a favor by accepting the car, etc.) Emails and calls have gone unreturned

I would not recommend Capitol Kia .If I could give No Stars I would. I have had 2 bad experiences here. . I could not believe these sales people. They dont care about their customers. my 1st experience I went to get a kia optima from a sales guy Henry . And I took a couple of days to make a decision on what car I wanted so the guy called me in and I was ready to buy the car . But when I got there he told me they had sold the car. Then they tried to sell me another car. I couldnt believe that they made me go in thinking that I could get the car I had already picked and test drove already.Then yesterday I went in and had an appointment with the sales guy Pedro They had called me about 8 times to get me to agree to the APR. they quoted . So they told me to come in because they got it down to what I wanted but the car I wanted was sold so I went in to see another car they said they had. . and As me and my husband was looking at the car we were sitting in it an Pedro Rodriquez said he was going to go get the key so we could test drive it. and we were sitting in it waiting gor a while then all of a sudden I heard the doors lock and unlock and saw a about 3 people come up to the car so we got out and they took it for a test Drive and Pedro Rodriquez saw that we were going to leave and he said lets go talk in the office. but my husband said no and that. we were going to go to Chevrolet and look at another car. and Pedro kept on insisting that we go in the office. my husbands said we will come back ito see if they sold the car to the other people.They act like we didnt know what was going on. Why would we stay at Kia and try to compete with the people that test drove the car. Did they think we are stupid. So long story short. I got a great Kia Optima from Capitol Chevrolet. I love it and am very happy with it. I dont recommend dealing with Kia The sales people are Amazing at Chevrolet. And we got a great deal and they are not pusshy and they get right to the point and make it so easy to buy a car. Capitol Chevrolet really care about their customers. I love Kia, they are good cars and because of my good experience, I bought my second Kia from this dealer ship about 2 month ago. When I purchased my used Optima, they gave me a piece of paper that claimed all recalls are done on this car.Here, two month down the road, last Friday night night when I got home at about midnight, my break line would not turn off, some fault of brake pedal stopper pad that I learned had a recall on it. but in order to figure this out, I could not operate the car without fixing break lights and at the same time I had to disconnect the battery not to drain it.Saturday I went to parts and services and instead of helping me out with the recall, they checked on their system and told me come back on next Wednesday, there will be a $200.00 diagnostic charge and if related to recall I will not get charged.In the past 30 years I have had many cars, with active recalls on them which the dealership had records on their computers and if the repair was not done, they would take care of it. In this case, I did not not see any sign of helpfulness from the service dept. and it looked like they do not even honor their own recalls. I am sure they legally obligated to take of this recall but they did not, and since this car is the car that my work depends on it, I bought the stopper for less than $7.00 and had another mechanic install it for me. It was so easy that the other mechanic did not even charge me for it. so disappointed with this dealership.
Capitol Kia quoted me $1,500 for a brake job (pads and rotors) on my 2015 Kia Sedona. Ended up doing it myself for $300 in parts and 3 hours of work, which should have translated to ~$600-$700? I asked around to a number of friends of mine who are mechanics or work on cars, and across the board they said that $1,500 is highway robbery.So, definitely get a second opinion on anything quoted from their service department.+1 star because their courtesy/shuttle driver was a very nice guy.

He was honest, personable, knowledgeable and you never felt an ounce of BS. Never. Sure there are some car buying obstacles to navigate e.g. financing and service packages but there are always obstacles when when dealing with such a large investment. Safak guided me through every such obstacle and every step with great expertise.How can every employee be this nice: we had stopped in on a Monday and the dealership was packed yet someone came out and showed us the 2021 Kia Telluride SX. He was very friendly and helpful. I reached out by email a couple of days later to check pricing and Safak got back to me by phone and text. He answered every question honestly and quickly. I was told the car would be marked up over MSRP due to demand but when you do a minute of research on the Telluride and certainly if you see one in person, you will know why. Even with the markup the Telluride packs a punch and offers space, design and options of SUV’s costing well over 10k of what Kia is asking. Look for yourself. I went in to buy and every employee from the person who greeted us to the finance representative at the end where personable, polite and never ever pushy.I looked at every suv and mini van over the last couple of weeks. Kia is not the car brand I saw myself buying but this not the car brand of a few years back. They offer a number of cars that look striking. As I have a family and have been tracking the Telluride, I had to see for myself and I was pleasantly surprised.Thank you Safak and team. Not only do I have a car I am happy with, I have a great experience to look back on. That is customer service and you have a client for life.

My car purchasing was a great experience! Especially since it was my first time buying a car. My sales rep, Q, was awesome to deal with and incredibly friendly and funny! Meanwhile, Randy Guzman, the finance manager was not pleasant to deal with. I am in sales. I get the attitude and pushiness, but there is a fine line between being a sales person and flat out rude. He definitely crossed that line. I finished the deal and the left the dealership, but had some further questions down the road. I have not heard from him and now no nothing about a service plan that I am paying for. Randy did not take the time to explain anything and has now left me stranded paying for something that I cannot use.
