Lovely little Easter European supermarket with a ton of products! I was looking for Turkish coffee for one of the doctors I work with but I walked out with a bunch of goodies to try! Little sweets, different cooking oils, different teas and coffees, and even a frozen section with imported cheeses, meats, and desserts. This was a really nice surprise to stumble upon :)

Bakkal has an amazing selection in a rather limited space. Im always impressed by how I can find any Turkish item I need in a store this size. Their product selection, cleanliness and service are all great! My friends visiting out of town are jealous because they dont have Bakkal in their cities.

We find lots of Turkish food here. Some of the cashiers are Turkish. Prices of some items are cheaper than other Turkish markets. You can find different kinds of Turkish Tea. Simit is also available most of the time. Ezine cheese is available.

Bakkal International Foods is a gem! The selection here is amazing. The store is truly stocked well - you can tell theres great thought put into stocking the store. Today was our first time shopping here despite living in Buckhead for over a decade. We were literally regretful for not having shopped here sooner (why did we not come here sooner?!?). My husband and I were blown away by how lovely the store, its kind people, and generous offerings are. One wonderful gentleman kindly asked if we needed help finding something, then both he and another wonderful gentleman assisted and made tea recommendations.Despite having such amazing high-quality imported goods, the goods were fresh and the prices quite reasonable. Obviously, the store is popular and has great turnover, thus ensuring fresh ingredients. Theres even fresh bread from local bakeries that you can buy to accompany all the delicious foods you can buy there (e.g. lovely cheeses, olives - soooo many to choose from, acuka - once again, sooo many choices, pickles!). The spice options are also fantastic - example: at least three or four different zaatar blends, urfa biber, Aleppo pepper. AND - they have barberries! If you are having guests over and making a mezze platter, this is the place to come to. If you have time to invest in cooking, this is where you come for dry goods like bulgur and smoked basmati rice. The freezers offerings are lovely too.Bakkal is such a fantastic store to have in our community. We are quite lucky to have them in our midst.

They have a variety of Turkish, Bulgarian, Greek, Mediterranean, Persian, Middle Eastern, Romanian, European and Russian products. They are nice friendly caring people. They are open daily the whole year. Very clean store. They even know most of customers by their names.

Great customer service! We bought Baklava imported from Turkey. Since the Baklava was frozen they offered to warm it up for us because we wanted to eat it right away.

Dairy and meat products are really good. I had a friend who lives in Florida who specifically goes to Bakkal whenever he is in town. If you want quality Turkish food, Bakkal is the place.
