Nate is the most helpful service guy I have yet to meet! Not to say the other service guy is not good. I just havent hard the opportunity to have him help me. That being said they definitely deliver great service. And have no problem taking my truck to them..

All the staff was incredibly helpful and honest. While my car had an issue with the paint, they informed me how to rectify it with GM and I felt confident driving off the lot. I would highly recommend Stowasser to anyone on in the market for a new or used vehicle.

Went to buy parts. Wasnt helpful i was told to look at the picture and pick the part needed. Was not on the picture they printed and basically told me they couldnt help. Will not be back. The only good thing is they told me to go to Huitrons. I did and he was most helpful person ever.

I bought a car a little over two weeks ago from Stowasser GMC. I called and talked to Angel Corona on the phone. On the phone, I requested a specific VIN. Their dealership was the closest one to me that had a car with all the features I was looking for in a GMC Terrain SLT. I wanted the Safety Plus Package. Me and Angel agreed for me to come pick up the car that night. Because I was driving there after work and I live two hours away, I got there after hours. They did not show the car first. They had me sign all of the paperwork. On the way home (it is 11 p.m. at this point), I realized the car was missing one of the features I had driven all the way to Santa Maria for. Once I got to Bakersfield, I checked all of my paperwork and looked online to see what the VIN number of the car I requested was. They had sold me a base model car that only had a couple of added features, but none of the features I had driven 2 hours for. Since it was so late, I decided to call the next day. At 8 am I called and spoke to both Angel and Job Diaz. They told me there was nothing they could do. Job chastised me on the phone telling me that it was completely my fault that I drove away with the wrong car. He kept saying this even after I explained that the sticker they place on the car had the VIN number of the car I requested. I also spoke to Jacob Stowasser and he told me the same thing. There is nothing that they could do for. Over the past two weeks, it has been hard to get in contact with him. He claims he called and left me a message when I did not receive one. Of the safety features, sunroof and bonus audio package I thought I had been paying for, the only thing they only offered to add in rear censors to the car that they gave me. The never once admitted that they had made a mistake. They only blamed me in entirety for the mishap that occurred and offered to pay $600 for something that is a multiple thousands of dollar mistake.

Went in on a Wednesday afternoon with GMC Terrains in mind and I definitely had a price range I was working with. My husband and I purchased a 2016 gmc truck, pearl white. These trucks are very pricey, but we thought we were getting great quality. By 2019 our expensive trucks paint begin to peel 😳 It started on the passenger door then the driver door. Stowasser dealer said they could do nothing about it since it had over 36,000 miles and we owned it for over three years. So, here we are stuck with a beautiful new truck paid for that’s peeling! My advice do not spend your money on GMC trucks you do not get what you pay for!!! They should have done a recall on these overbaked paint jobs but they didn’t. Shame on GMC!!!

I came in here to take a look at the car I wasn’t sure wether I was gunna leave with it but the sellers Acacia and Diego did everything they could to help get me a good monthly payment as a first time buyer and they gave me a great deal and helped me even get started on lower insurance too. And Edgar the finance guy helped me fill out all the paperwork and was friendly talking to :)

Overall great. However not happy about the way my vehicle was return to me. There was no attention put into the small details of wipping fingerprints from my hood, doors and windows, having to remove the temp map or seat cover, also scratch that appeared on myvehicle. This may cause me to not return for service. I f

The recall did not fix issue with brakes and it maybe causing other malfunctions with power on acceleration. Service engine light is not which concerns me. I almost crashed twice in may 2021. The breaks lock up and dont seem to be working simultaneously. I will contact gm

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Once the vehicle was released back to me, I realized no tire rotation was done because of a nail on one tire. Wish they would had given me a heads up as to why they didn’t change it. Or give me a call as they discovered that to let me know it hadn’t been done. Not sure if that’s standard procedure or if they were lazy!

We purchase a Acadia With in a year we notice something with the Motor I did tell them within time they came back saying there was nothing wrong the next time .The engine light Turned on we came back and they gave us An a Evaluation and the total cost was $3000 when we logged in online to see what it was it said that there was a recall for those parts .When we went back and told him about it they said it was too late that we no longer could request that to be part of the recall because that had it already expired .so pretty much they screwed us up they waited for that to expired. I was told to picked the car.He Stated that they didn’t wanted to get the car towed for not pick it up. Worst experience I don’t recommend Stowaseser!!!

We loved how the guys really went above and beyond go get us in the vehicles we wanted. Edgar M. and Diego really took time to help us out even stayed when they were supposed to be off or came in on the day they werent supposed to be working. We will definitely be going back there.

I took my 2016 2500HD in for owner’s manual prescribed service (45K and still under warranty) on my truck. Stowasser didnt complete all GMC required maintenance, although they charged me for a complete service ($700+). I tried Stowasser off and on over the years because the service was so horrible that I was convinced that I must have gotten a bad employee. But after eight years of trying this unethical dealer, I’ve learned they will not change their horrible business practices because it comes from the owner. The owner sets the atmosphere and he is willing and pushing his employees to screw you over. You are better off going to another dealer.

Friendly salesmen helped me find a great car. I test drove a new GMC Acadia with front wheel drive and almost bought it. Thankfully I thought about overnight. Super disappointed in my experience. I bought my car from them in July of 2017 and I am still having issues. Things that were told to me prior to purchase are not actually true. I have just been told today that my car was sold to me with used tires. There was an area missing paint when I first purchased and was told it wouldnt be noticeable one they repaired it. It now looks worse. The only easy part to this was them taking my money. Im so glad others have had positive experiences. But I am definitely taking my business elsewhere.

Worst car buying experience ever! Sales people were really nice as they sold us a vehicle at almost double the Edmunds estimated value. Then less than six months after the purchase the vehicle dies. Stowasser told us not our problem. Then we discovered they had been re-selling this vehicle to anyone who would take it (3 sales in less than 6 years). I understand a used vehicle is a used vehicle but this is just unacceptable. My husband is a disabled vet and we live on a very slim budget. Now we are left with an expensive lawn ornament. Estimates are in the several thousands to fix.

The service person that checked me out when the car was done was unprofessional . After just having my car detailed and only getting an oil change and the tires rotated, I got the car back with water spots all over the back of the car and the windshield .I was waiting in the customer lounge for them to let me know they were done with the car. After not hearing anything I went out to the service department to see my car out in the parking lot. The service guy that gave me the keys when the car was done does not have the personality to work directly with the public. He probably does his job just fine but not with the customer directly . Also the guys that actually do the work should give your car back to you as clean as you bought it to them to work on.Would not take my car back. I think management needs to evaluate those people who deal with the public.
