Friendly staff and good coffee. Not a bullet proof coffee regular, but was a nice treat for a pick me up. Its not how I would drink my coffee in a regular basis, but a great treat, and they have good food and other options, too. Also, very kind staff willing to answer questions and be patient.

Extremely rude staff. Worst service experience I’ve had in over a year. Coffee and food are great. But the staff, especially the manager of this particular Tuesday shift should be fired on the spot. So rude, they pretend not to hear you and purposefully ignore your order then laugh about it. What a shame.

Horrifically overpriced, even for Venice. $7 for a large red eye… ridiculous! Kinda gross atmosphere. No cream or half-n-half, only coconut milk. And it doesn’t even taste good, especially with coconut milk (lame!) I’ll definitely never be going here again and would not recommend it to anyone! You have been warned!

I have a very unpleasant dietary restriction and can’t eat at most places (GF, DF, Nut Free, Soy Free, and etc...) My wife recommended I check it out and I tried the Sliders. They removed the butter since I can’t have that. It was pretty good. Wish the Sweet Potato Bun was a little bit sturdy to eat it like a burger but the fork worked. Also Armando rang up my order, made my Ice Green Tea, and gave me my food. He was pretty laid back and cool.

Its hard to know how to write this place. If I were to rate it on the taste of the coffee I would probably give it a 3.5. If I were to rated on the service or the vibe of the place or for the fact that theyre seeking to do something different than yet another coffee place, Id have to give them a 5. So, Ive settled on a 5.I havent looked into the science behind their approach but I think recently been hearing about them and had to check them out when I randomly passed by while out of town. I appreciated that they had a vegan option, but they also had quite a few non vegan options.Worth checking out.

For quite some time, my daughter and I have been following Dave Asperey and his Bulletproof concepts. Although I cannot drink coffee, my daughter does and asked if we could stop at the Bulletproof Coffee location in Santa Monica during our visit to LA. I readily agreed because I love Bulletproof bars, in fact, Im addicted to them! We have ordered many of these products on-line, but it was fun to see them at the original store. We were hoping to catch a glimpse of the owner, Dave, but knew that was a long shot. My daughter loved her official Bulletproof Coffee. We usually make our own at home according to the recipe. I hope these stores come to the East Coast some day!

The beef sliders were great - I loved the unbun. The coffee was not what I was expecting. The double-shot latte hit the spot, but theres only so much you can do with almond milk.

Decent food is and drink, but the novelty pales in comparison to tried and true organic restaurants like Urth Caffe

This coffee shop serves some really health nutrient dense meals as well.Overall a great spot to focus and get some work done either inside or on the patio.The surrounding Main Street is also a great place to walk around and even check out the beach just a few blocks away.

Bulletproof Coffee is always a treat when were in Santa Monica. The coffee is first-class, but the food is also healthy and delicious. My favorite is the Turmeric Rice Bowl, with ground beef and vegetables. Their ice cream is also really good. We shared a pint of the Espresso ice cream. I only wish they had a San Diego location so I could enjoy all of it more often.

If you’re into bulletproof coffee, then this is the place to grab it :) they also have plenty of nice low carb food and snacks. If you’re up for an adventure, you can check out some of the gadgets they have at bulletproof labs next door :)

We were only in LA for four days, but we went here twice! (We wouldve gone more if we had the time.) We are avid Bulletproof fans, so having access to SCRUMPTIOUS coffee and meals in a bright, cafe-like setting was an incredible experience. The mocha was so good and their breakfast menu was filling and delicious, without making us feel bloated or gross (which most restaurant food does). Plus, they have a vibe plate, cool Bulletproof products that are hard to come by, and the staff is really knowledgable! I wish I lived in LA just to go here more frequently.

Amazing coffee, amazing brand and overall great vibe. Ive been drinking bulletproof (using the recipe) for about 4 years and it changes my morning routine. The coffee gives you a major kick start on the day and lacks the crash that happens when you drink sugar coffee. How can you possible go to Starbucks when you have a gem in the neighborhood like this? If you want a different and better cup of coffee, come here!

If you are every craving a lobster roll this place is a MUST! I originally tried Broad Street due to their DineLA deal but came back the following weekend once DineLA was over because it was that good.I tried the lobster roll warm with butter both times and it was absolutely amazing! The roll is packed with lobster and the bun is super nice, soft, and just perfect. They use a great amount of lobster so each bite is honestly the perfect bite. The lobster roll is served with house chips which are tossed in old bay seasoning.Their crab cakes are also a good appetizer. Perfectly crispy and the side sauce that they come with are a great addition. The order comes with 2 crab cakes.Overall a great place that you should check out!

First of all, I expected much better from a brand like Bulletproof (whose products I have been buying for years). I walked in and had to use the restroom. The restroom was atrocious - no toilet paper, paper towels and water all over the floor, soap dispenser off the wall lying on the counter. I spoke to the boys (seriously, they were 15 max) working behind the counter and mentioned it was bad. Then I proceeded to order my food. It was prepared without gloves. Even in a non COVID era I would be disappointed (and disgusted) by this. The only saving grace is the food is fantastic. Dave Aspry would be beyond disappointed in this.

What an awesome place! Staff were amazing and patient. I had several questions due to food restrictions. This was honestly the only place we could really eat while visiting the LA area. We can’t have seed oils which makes eating out nearly impossible. They use olive oil! And I could get a mocha latte too because their coconut milk is just water and coconut and their chocolate contains no refined sugar... I wish they were in northern Cali. My family and I really enjoyed our food. Such a great place. Our go to for southern Cali!

Overhyped, overrated healthy products, some of their beverages are pretty good but questionable on their claimed benefits. Do your research before drinking the kool-aid.

Disinterested staff at counter who managed to serve me in between carrying on conversation with the other employee and checking her phone. Ordered a hot chocolate, there was no cocoa/chocolate in it at all, just steamed coconut milk and lots of sweetener. No seats and messy store. Surprising experience, am familiar with the bulletproof brand and was expecting more. Have had great food and coffee all over LA but this was the lone exception for my trip.

No Bulletproof Cafe in Hawaii so I’m enjoying it everyday or twice a day. Needs more selection on bakery items or I would rate it higher. Service is good. Bulletproof Lab next door is amazing.

The cafes new menu is TRANSFORMATIONAL...incredible bakery items (the gluten-free blueberry muffins were superb), and they finally have free-form bowls for lunch, so you can mix and match to your hearts delight. Ive always loved the vibe here, but the service could flag a bit. Not now - great staff, an expertly made mocha, and a sunny deck for sitting.

Delicious ground beef and steak tacos. Completely gluten-free facility. Order two items or more; these are tapas-sized portions. Also be aware that although they are open until 8, the kitchen closes at 6:45. Dedicated gluten-free facility that did not get me sick. I’m a very sensitive celiac.

Ordered cappuccino. It was only when it tasted very odd that I noticed the menu mentioned it had butter in it amongst other strange ingredients. The world over cappuccino simply means expresso with frothy milk - except here that is. Should not call it cappuccino to avoid confusion in my opinion. Food was good though, but its easy to find another cafe with both good coffee and good food....

Made my pilgrimage to the Bulletproof Cafe on a recent trip to Santa Monica and I sure was impressed.I had the Bulletproof Mocha and the Coconut Tortilla breakfast burrito. Both were amazing.Ive drank Bulletproof coffee for a while now but was still impressed by the mocha. The right kind of sweet and full of healthy fats and rich chocolate.I was blown away by the burrito and overall quality of the food. Several of the other entrees I saw come out looked at least as good. And if I could have I would have eaten here everyday. It was that good.Exceeded my expectations and I will certainly be back if I am to visit this area again. Hoping theyll open one in my hometown (Seattle), WA.

Definitely should not advertise theirs own kind of cappuccino as NORMAL one. Should be named differently as coffee with oil and no milk, no sugar. How a person that passed by the cafe should know it? Payed $8 for that and it’s horrible. Breakfast burrito doesn’t taste good. I threw my money on air, I would rather go to Starbucks...

JAZZY COFFEE SHOP! We stepped in here for a couple of minutes on New Years Day to grab a couple of lattes. After reading the menu board we decided that butter additives etc was not what we wanted in our coffees. We headed over to another coffee shop in Venice.

La Marzocco pumping awesome coffees. Hip and young team, definitely passionate about trade. Safe bet when in Venice Beach.

The coffee was ok, the prices arent bad either. Im a constant coffee drinker and I just expected it to have a kick to it, but dont get me wrong. The coffee had a complete different taste to it which made the experience worth it. I cant explain the way it taste, I recommend it.

The staff were nice and helpful. I had an expectation that it would be more groovy than it is. Decor isnt anything special. But the coffee was amazing. The eggs and scone were also delicious. Worth going to if you buy Bulletproof items and want a great cup of coffee.

Found this cafe and had to go in! I have had a few Bulletproof coffees from various places and this cafe makes a great coffee!! Very well frothed so that the butter is properly mixed in. Tastes amazing with coconut milk! The gluten free muffins were amazing as well!!! Great healthy cafe!

First off, location is perfect! It makes for great photos and a relaxing place to enjoy your meal. I stop by mostly for a good bulletproof coffee in the morning- much easier than making my own.

I think this location hurts the Bulletproof brand. I saw the owner speak in San Diego, and I really support their mission and think they make great products. I love the coffee too.This location needs to step it up though. It’s messy, run down, and the feel does not represent the values of the company.I feel less strongly about this company after visiting this location, but maybe they just suck at retail management. I respect it’s a completely different ballgame.

Best. Gluten. Free. Breakfast place. Makes coffee with ghee! Every thing is great. Coconut flour and guac burrito with eggs is great! Worth every single penny. Coffee with ghee will be a bit thicker.

My friend and I went back twice in one day. First time we got the original coffee and breakfast bowls. Second time, I tried the cornless tacos. The staff was super friendly and the food was quick to arrive.

I didnt really like the coffee though my friend loves it. There are a lot of add ins you can choose from but many of them involve an animal product that you had to murder for (like bone and stuff). They are a less sugary shop than most, they are geared towards a healthy lifestyle.

Cool ambiance and neat idea. I did not like the coffee though. The butter makes it taste sour to me. I finished it, but I will definitely not get it again. It must be an acquired taste.

A few of their essential ingredients were not in house. For a specialty cafe it’s pretty important to have all the ingredients you need to make your coffee. Otherwise I could be going to any other shop.

Most of the cashiers/staff have a pathetic attitude and shouldnt even be greeters at a Walmart. A few of them are nice though (a few).If youre going to get a drink recommended to get the vanilla bulletproof coffee -tastes delicious and you feel great after drinking it.Food isnt worth the price.Patio is great for good conversations and getting work done on the laptop.

Had a breakfast burrito with extra cauliflower rice and brain octane which was delicious. Needed some extra salt and spice which I had with me. And then took a few photos on the vibe plate that will hopefully end up on the website!Love this place!

The food is great and really love the variations of bullet proof coffee. With trying the tacos, the sliders and the get some ice cream. That being said the food is great, but Im putting only 4 stars because the service isnt really good. They mixed up simple orders every single time I went.

Love this place because the staff knows their stuff, and whenever I eat the food here I feel great even hours later. Its food and drinks designed to help your body and mind perform at peak levels, and you can definitely feel it. Great vibe, great spot for delicious food and to meet awesome people!

My overall experience was good with a few things that lowered my rating. Its hard to say that I didnt like the food; my salmon protein bowl had good rice and veggies. The thing that bothered me the most was the fish. The meat was a strange neon pink color while the skin tasted old or stale I guess. It was disappointing to say the least.The raspberry ice cream was also only okay. It was icy and not very creamy. The flavor was on point though. We admittedly got the last dregs of the ice cream barrel, but for $9 per small cup, it seemed like a lot.Finally, the location left something to be desired. I saw an employee get her bike stolen and my parents told me about another time when someone robbed the store of the tip jar. Not really anyones fault, but it definitely put people on edge.Overall, I might go again, but it was a strange for sure.

Best place to get your coffee, food, ice cream and bone broth- ALL IN ONE SPOT. I love this place so much! Eat anything on the menu and you will feel full of energy and super light the whole day. Good price for huge portions. And the workers are friendly. Its a cool and quiet environment so I like to go there with my friends and get some work done. Highly recommend this place. Five stars all around!

Was here this morning and ordered a vanilla coffee, drank a bit more than 1/2 trying to get a taste for the flavor, but couldnt. Returned and asked for a regular coffee and was told by the girl behind the counter that it seemed as though I liked it, referring to the amount Id consumed. I offered to pay for the replacement, and was not asking for something free, which she declined, but it was too late. The insult had been made.Some of my friends like the coffee there, thats why I tried it, but it wasnt my cup of tea, so to speak.Its a cup of coffee for Christs Sakes... Replace it with something the customer can enjoy or offer a refund. Just sayin.

This is the coolest coffee shop Ive ever been to.The way they are integrating my favorite substance into something healthy is really progressive.I wish I didnt live so far from all the locations.

As we were Birding around the boardwalk this spot popped up and seemed like a good spot bc of the crowd and variety. Mental note: don’t always follow the crowd.The place smelled a little funky and it didn’t make the best coffee. The servers seemed kinda annoyed by us pure because we were asking questions. Not recommended and I regret not heading further down the steeet to Groundwork.

The Santa Monica local is hands down my favorite spot of the two. The staff there are very knowledgeable and serviceable (👍👊)... I had first stopped by the shop that is in the Arts Distric in DTLA, but they stopped preparing and serving food there; they are only serving drinks and some pastries. So, I took the drive to Santa Monica to try their food and I was not disappointed! I will return when Im in the area for some keto/paleo yumminess!

Bullet proof coffee, decent. The location and atmosphere is just lacking something. I want this set at the bottom of Runyon, or somewhere interesting. It just feels out of place here.

Drove from Vegas and I had to experience this cafe. Its clean, friendly and AMAZING! Ive only experienced this coffee in my home (since I make it at home, Hawaii) I order products online to get the best bulletproof coffee. I ordered a large ice mocha coffee & it blew me away! The most delicious cup of coffee EVER! I would recommend this place to everyone :) side note, parking isnt the greatest & the city police isnt the nicest either. Made my cup of coffee taste that much better...aloha!

Had an amazing lunch here with my wife. The corn free tortilla grass fed steak tacos are soooo delicious. Highly recommend this place for upgraded coffee, coffee beverages and super healthy food!

The food was AMAZING! But when I went inside there were people dancing on a stand. Pretty awkward for me I almost cracked up.

I wanted to like it and I thought butter coffee would be too rich, but its less creamy than a milk latte or flat white. The coffee is quite bitter and thin. The broth smells better than it tastes--it smells very strongly of cumin, but I didnt get as strong a taste as I expected, which was a disappointment.They make everything to order and can modify as requested. They sell their supplements and books, as well as bars and butter. The idea is no sugar added.
