A nice corner boutique set up for customers to have a physical access to the bank. Clean, new and available for use if you need a much needed break from the LA congestion. Across from Whole Foods it has WiFi and seating areas.

This coffee shop has comfy tables and seats plus music that could make us feel relax. There were also books for you to read especially if youre into reading while listening to music. You can meet a new circle of friends because the people were so cool. It was a nice experience!

It is a Peets with a bank. It is a fun place to watch the tourism out the window. I spent a lot of time here on my Presidents Day 2019 trip using the WiFi to save pictures from my phone to the cloud, using outlets to charge my phone and battery backup, and took advantage of the clean restroom. Because I stayed in the Ambrose Hotel (20th and Arizona Streets), this was basically my phone station. But also, I sure did drink a lot of coffee and had plenty of snacks. I just retro-added everything that followed the watching tourism out the window in August 2020 as a way of saying thank you for accommodating me as I now reflect. I sure hope I can have another Santa Monica trip like that again.😀(from San Francisco).

This place is THE BEST! I always feel so welcomed here. All the Capital One representatives are super kind, friendly, and understand that oftentimes, people like me arent necessarily looking for financial advice or to open up an account, but simply want a relaxed, stress-free place to do some work and unwind. It really is a novel approach to banking, and Im super thankful for the folks that work there that have kept this space so inviting.

A decent cafe with seating, mini conference rooms, and on staff bank employees could def use more outlets when its busy

This place was pleasant. I had a few questions for Capital One. Bad questions were answered Quickly. I was helping a timely manner by a respectful person. It was a quick and easy process. They even have a Peets Coffee inside of his place! Very clean quiet and relaxing.

Very pleasantly surprised. The space was open and comfortable. Seating was plentiful and eclectic. Youve got your standard coffee shop style table and chairs but also padded benches, desks, working tables, and counter seating. Plenty of charging stations to get work done. Super helpful and friendly staff. The coffee was great (I got a caramel macchiato) but the Earl grey tea latte was a bit too much milk for our liking. We opened a checking and savings account and were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with a complimentary gift! Im happy to have found this place and look forward to being a capital one customer!

I love this place. if I have questions, the bankers are nice and approachable and willing to help. There are atms, they also have different events. And I get to get some work done while having coffee which is by the way 50% off if you are using capital one card. The baristas are all nice..

Wow! This is the best place ever. Every time we go to a Capital One Cafe they are giving away free coffee or merchandise. If you have a Capital One credit card you get half off of your purchase. But Ive never had to do this because I always have a coupon for free coffee. :-)

I’ve been a Capital One customer for a long time, but I had never been to a C-1 bank. I was in Santa Monica and needed an ATM, so I stopped in. I’m so glad I did. I had my sweet dog with me and she was pretty tired. They offered her a place to relax, and gave her a little water bowl. The people here are very kind and helpful both to me and my pup.As for services offered, it is a basic community space to work or socialize. It is reasonably quiet and there is ample space to get work done.There are even quiet rooms for coffee and conversation. Bonus: 50% off coffee with your Capital One card.

Wow pretty cool idea... Excellent location for a cafe. Very good atmosphere and ambiance plus you get to do some banking there!!! Cafe part is above average but wifi is great and charging ports everywhere to work if needed.

Really like this place. The coffee is great and they have great coffee samples as well as complimentary pastries (as available). The staff is friendly and the space is clean and spacious. Will be stopping by more often, its right next to my home and also centrally located in downtown Santa Monica.

Good — but only one barista on duty isn’t enough.

Was lured in by the sound of a small orchestra, composed of Santa Monica HS students. They apparently perform on Sundays. Great that they support young artists!

Predatory lenders. They charge me 30% interest after getting money from the feds for free.

Big open space. Glass wall opens in good weather. .Good to sit around in because of the variety of seating. Theres regular tables and long tables and soft seats and private rooms. Food pricy. Peets drinks are half-price with their card.

This place is simply RADICAL all banking needs met in a friendly and comfortable environment. You are gonna want to stay for a while and kick-back, longer an/or escape. Great place to hang if you need a space to get stuff done, great location too. Speaking of locations, Cap. 1 step-up guys and build more of these in So. Cal. I suggest these additional locations: Inglewood, Torrance/South Bay, Korea Town, North Hollywood, Northridge, and Santa Clarita.💯 needed and these locations would Thrive.✌

The only real reason for this place to exist kis because they have many clients in LA and they have no real banks here, so it’s hard to do credit card business, and the Capital One Cafe is supposed to make that easier. Well, it doesn’t. It’s cumbersome and outdated, with very little customer service and almost no service options. If you want some very expensive coffee and condiments, you can go there and sit and work or whatever as you enjoy your overpriced snack, just like at Starbucks, but for banking they’re kinda useless

This is in reference to the actual Capital One baking service @ SM and not the cafe. The ATMs are always Out of Order, and Im always having issues with either withdrawing or depositing. Today I tried to deposit money and the Machine ended up not only Denying my deposit, but actually shredding my card because I unknowingly took too long to remove the card after it was silently ejected. Now I have to call Capital One and order a new card and I still didnt achieve in making my deposit. Never again using these ATMs at this location.

Its a perfect match a place to do ur banking add one of the biggest floor space i havr seen to do work or just relax n did i mention peetes coffee shop n at half price if u r a capital one card holder. Its one of the few times i received instant gratification on credit card use

This bank feels 50 years younger than any other.The ATMs in front are modern (better than Wells Fargo or Chase) and dispense cash in all denominations.There is free wi-fi, casual seating options, and flexible-use meeting rooms. There is a concierge to guide you to on-premise features and the web site for your actual banking.There is a full-featured Peets Coffee shop, 50% off for Capital One customers. I happened to stop in during one of their random happy hours, showed my CapitalOne credit card, and got a *free* Peets cappuccino.To top it off, Capital One offers bank account features that, while perhaps not as valuable as online-only banks, are at least not insulting to the customer: Interest rates within 20% of top online-only banks, ATM fee reimbursement, a decent web site and app.
