Great coffee ☕ taste and view to the promenade.

They didnt have heavy cream and we ordered a Medium Roast i.e. La Cascada and a light roast but we were given the same thing. When we asked which is which the server said both are same, lol. She didnt want to listen anything, just kept saying they are same.

Newly renovated and much better service and staff than one two blocks away. Highly recommended. They have great tea choices. And if you like coffee they are good at that as well. Pastries and such if you are hungry.

Customer service was very helpful, quick and courteous! It was my first time there with my brother so I didnt know what to get but the guy who was there helped me out by choosing and giving me options what there was or what I was looking for. Also the guy who gave us our coffee was friendly and easy to talk to! That helps out a lot since sometimes I get nervous when speaking with workers haha! The place was very clean as well and such a nice atmosphere. I really recommend going :)

A good spot in the middle of santa monica street. I ordered an iced cappuccino which was ok. The good thing about that place is that they have an outdoor seating area.

Went for the “Friends” pop up. It was fun. They did a great job of recreating “Central Perk.” My wife enjoyed her coffee and my Chai Latte was really good too. Bonus points for “Friends” themed menu items.

Ordered a mocha with oat milk. The chocolate was way too sweet that I was guessing they use the syrup instead of the cocoa powder. Dumped right away. Really awful taste, waste of 5 dollar

Staff were very rude. Blocked up chargers so no one can us them. Staff were talking behind peoples backs. Security guard they have stared me and my group down like we were robbing the place. Dont go here. Go to the Starbucks next door.

The cafe is clean. The staff is polite and they make the drinks quickly. My favorite items on the menu are the chai latte and the ice blended drinks. During non-pandemic times, this is a great place to relax for a few minutes and people watch on The Promenade. For people with disabilities and small children, restrooms are conveniently located in the parking structure behind the building.

Don’t waste your time they have nothing to offer you. They might be of stock of it including their Pastry bags. What’s next they are going run out of cups? Burn your bagel and have the audacity to put in a wrinkled sandwich bag with the napkins inside. You want me to use a napkin full of bagel crumbs and seeds to clean myself if needed or clean the spill on my cup? Is it so hard to put the napkins in the big nice clean paper bag you put in when you order it to go? Also have a side of attitude I was beyond dumbfounded. I might as have gone to Starbucks if that were the case. They would have the order right. Also this was in the morning 😂 y’all didn’t have Pastry bags in the morning? I understand afternoon but it was in the morning.

Covid should not be a reason to degrade the quality of service. You didnt reduce your prices, did you? So why the service has gone. Close your business if you cant keep up with the standards of service while respecting the standards of safety. No napkins. Same guy who touches them without gloves makes a comment on my mask because its half inch lower than the top of my nose, and in a rude way, even though a huge plexiglass separates us.

Horrible attitude by the supervisor on shift.... If not happy go find other job, dont take it on customer.

They were open late. The cashier was friendly and even helped with directions on the phone prior to getting there. My tea and lemon loaf were delicious. 😊

I have a lot of fun memories from here. I always stop by when I am around. I always got lucky with great staff here, one time when I asked for extra whipped cream, the guy made a tower for me, literally! I was with friends and we had such a laugh, great customer service! They were very funny and very attentive and friendly, I had a blast here.I love going to places where they care about more than just money, people are the heart of every busness for me. Great staff, good job on hiring!!!

Been here now and then for a tea. Now, for the first time, I tried the mozzarella sandwich in this Santa Monica 3rd street location. I was asked if I wanted to have it “toasted,” - which sounded like a good idea to me. Now, the “toaster” turned out to be a microwave - and it was “toasted” with some plastic foil that melted and was glued to the sandwich.I could not believe my eyes. When I asked how one can possibly eat this, the guy shrugged and said, “that’s how I was told to do it” and left. I had a dozen colleagues with me who flew in for the awards that afternoon, and we thought it would be a good idea to stroll around and bridge the time until dinner, so I did not want to make a scene.I can only hope this was and is a single mistake by one uncaring employee as I am really tempted to file this as a health hazard.

Misleading advertising and pricing. I received a reward from them stating 50% OFF any ice blended drinks in their app. Turned out, it wasnt usable because in a separate screen that you have to tap to see, in their smallest font, it says its only good after 6pm.Update: Theyre completely full of it. Emailed them as they requested and no response after a week.

MUCH BETTER since the remodeling in all ways. Much better layout inside and outside, with much more breathing and walking space. Additionally, the employees seem to be nicer and more professional than before as well. Otherwise, typically efficient and pleasant Coffee Bean location.

Were looking forward to enjoying some coffee. While waiting in line with snacks we purchased in a different store, we were rudely asked to leave since they do not allow outside food. We had to go buy coffee elsewhere because of a policy that doesnt allow you to even wait in line with outside food.

Excellent place to work on your laptop. Power outlets. Big tables. Not noisy. Good food. Good coffee. Nice ambience, fine crowd. Friendly staff.Sandwiches are soggy and there is no grill to properly warm it up.

First time ever my son was told to leave the store because he was holding cookies that he bought from a different store. He couldnt wait in line with me to order his drink because company policy does not allow outside food. In addition to it security guard and sales people were really rude about that as well. Will never return.

When in SaMo, this is my favorite place to get coffee and do work. There is plenty of natural light, especially on the terrace where people watching is a natural pastime.

Excellent location great coffee

This is one of my wife’s all time favorite places and we always make it a point to go there we come to third street promenade. Depending on when you get there though you will definitely have to wait like any coffee shop but I do like that the staff is friendly and the place is always always clean.

Hot chocolate was diluted and the store closed at 9pm on a Wednesday night instead of 10pm as indicated online. The Coffee cake streusel is above average

Great coffee shop with fast friendly service. It has a nice patio seating right on the promenade. The seating inside is very limited.

Coffee Bean, oh how I love thee. Hence my heartbreak in having to award only four stars. Really, this CBTL is just as good as any other except that its very tiny. Cramped quarters means a bit of claustrophobia during rushes. Its a minor nitpick though, and with the speedy and friendly service there, youll be in and out in no time! Its also a great stop for a pre-movie pick-me-up before heading to the theater next door.

Nothing special. Their reward system relative to Starbucks is horrible.

New store. Did absolutely nothing about the stoners that came in, started putting their feet on the tables, and blaring their cell phone speakers to disrupt everyone without ever buying anything. After 45 minutes, finally told them they had to buy a single banana to keep wrecking the furniture and filling the store.

Service is rude and discriminatory. They judge based on how much monetary investment it would presume you to have.Makes attempt to bar out less fortunate people who dont meet the social status of millionaires .The only positive is it has a power outlet while other places block their outlets.Staff is pushy and management doesnt address customer concerns .Not recommended .Id give it zero stars if I could.

I had bad experience here with the staff not being courteous. So this particular shop at overland and Venice I have been avoiding since then. Its usual coffee house thats all but with poor staff and arrogant attitude and service.
