It has taken me a few days to write this review because I didnt want to miss a thing. I was in Savannah for a bachelorette and woke up on Saturday morning and my contacts had reacted to the solution I had and practically dissolved into nothing. I was in a pure panic until Maria answered the phone at Vision Works!! She was so patient and understanding, helped me get a copy of my prescription and get me some samples to hold me over. I have never felt so comfortable walking into a store. They all were friendly, the location was absolutely spotless and most importantly they CARED! Maria, you are amazing and saved the day. I appreciate you and your heart. Thank you again!

Karen and Shaniqua were so very attentive! They were both so nice and took the time to make me laugh even while dealing with my annoying glasses.

This was my first visit. I changed jobs and thus insurances. I have been a loyal Americas Best client since the 90s. The staff was very friendly and warm. The frame selection was GREAT! And the doctor was very knowledgeable and very friendly to boot. The prices were affordable and they billed my insurance on the spot and they even prechecked my coverage. Overall, it was a great visit. Staff very professional and helpful. They took the time to help me find the prefect frames for my face. Thank you so much for everything!

Got a fast appointment even during their busy time. Doctor was careful accurate and efficient. Becky was a tremendous help in finding the right glasses. I am not quick or efficient with decisions, she had patience and expertise to offer. I bought two pair.Between an insurance benefit and other discounts they offered, the price was reasonable. I did a quick search of their costs versus online and their competitors. They were absolutely competitive.

The customer service was great! The young lady at the desk greeted me as soon as I entered and was very polite. Dr. Niki was very professional and friendly as well. Thats rare because some doctors come across as uptight and not so down to EARTH. The young lady that help me check out even helped me find my glasses because I told her there were so many choices to pick from. I will be recommending this location to my colleagues.

I had a great experience. I’m not one to write reviews, but I feel the need to rate this place 5 stars. Very friendly staff, no complicated check in, I probably waited maybe 10 minutes to be seen, Dr. Nikita was really nice and recommended comfortable contacts for me, and The whole visit was very easy. I’d recommend this place for sure.

After moving to Georgia from another state I looked for Visionworks . found this store in Savannah on Mall Boulevard. Not a disappointment at all I had the pleasure of meeting Karen, Kirby, & Becky all very pleasant . I was worked in on a very busy Friday on short notice to get my glasses the ladies worked with me. everything was fantastic great experience I will be back next year.

A mix of incompetence and unprofessionalism. This location has an underlying policy to generate as much revenue as possible. As such, unnecessary work and customer tasks are required to obtain things that you have paid for (i.e., prescription). They also mislead you on out of pocket costs with your insurance company. Avoid at all costs.

Everyone at VisionWorks was so kind and professional. I especially liked Dr. Desai. She discussed my care in detail. I really appreciated that she answered all of my questions in a thorough, non-condescending way. She also seemed to genuinely care about my health as opposed to the other eye doctors Ive seen in town who were clearly just trying to churn through patients as quickly as possible. I highly recommend this office.

Amazing. Already sent one coworker up there. Planning on sending more. As somebody getting my first eye exam since I was a child and getting my first pair of glasses, I had no idea what to do. Showed up an hour early to browse because I knew I’d be getting glasses. They moved up my appointment. The optometrist was amazing. Wish I could remember his name. Hannah explained my insurance and what everything meant very well.

They were nice and very helpful with helping me find the right lenses and checking my eyes.

When I call to make my appointment, The call was handled professionally. Without hesitation, I was seen the same-day, The young ladies, welcome me, with patience, kindness, concern,and never tried to rush me out the door, The appointments were made spaciously, due to the Covid 19. The entire staff from the moment I walked in throughout the entirety of my appointment was just wonderful. They were friendly and answered all my questions. They checked on me but did not hover. I have never worn glasses before and they made this a wonderful experience for me and I appreciate the staff and the doctor.

Wonderful experience from setting up the appointment, being greeted and COVID screened upon entry, the exam with a kind and personable optometrist who made my son so comfortable (kiddo was nervous and really didn’t want the glasses), to selecting frames and lense options. All the staff was knowledgeable, patient, and super friendly. We will definitely continue our business and eye care with Visionworks in Savannah.

Staff was amazing! From making sure customers have mask to giving the best greetings and farewell. In my opinion it was great service. They check your temp and give you some hand sanitizer to begin with. And they speak to you like a human rather then sounding like automated bots. Everyone was friendly and my examiner was upfront and professional about my diagnostics, definitely recommended.

I was seen for the 1st time on 7.16.20. My experience was great. The staff members are friendly, professional and very helpful. The Doctor was amazing. I learned so much about my eyes as she explained in detail what I needed to know. I never felt as if I was being rushed and she paused often to ask if I had any questions. I will def be back for my yearly exam and also highly recommend Visionworks!

My son had his first eye appointment Yesterday. The visit was fantastic. My 5 year old is super active and they were patient and kind. We were made to feel comfortable and everything was explained so that I understood because I dont wear glasses at all! My son is very excited to get his glasses, and im so glad I picked this Visionworks to go to!!

Ive been going here for several years, and the past two Ive also brought my son. Between Dr. Desai and the support staff, I could not possibly say enough good things, and there isnt just one instance I could relay because every single year the service has been consistently phenomenal. Even my son, at 17, left on Saturday and said I really like going there. Theyre a lot of fun. I concur.

TLDR: 5 stars, definitely recommended!My experience was perfect! I greatly appreciate how careful everyone was being during this time in a pandemic! Everyone in the store had masks on and hand sanitizer was provided.I was called the day before to let me know I can handle my paperwork online before coming in. Its nice to know places appreciate your time and allow these services.The optometrist and associates were awesome. I was greeted as soon as I entered the store. I waited only a couple minutes before taking my pre-test. My wait to see the optometrist was less than 5 minutes. The eye test didnt take very long either.Once my tests were finished, an associate helped me pick out a frame. There was a huge selection. 2 of the 4 walls were lines with frames. I was a little overwhelmed to be honest. The associate made it a painless process by suggesting stylish frames.After selecting my frame, the same associate rang me up, let me know other add-on I could add to my glasses, and returned my receipt. She explained how much my insurance covered and I was out the door. 5 stars, would definitely recommend to anyone.

With the precautions we have to take for COVID 19. I do not feel comfortable putting on public frames or having a representative next to me. Instead of being understanding, you all refuse to let us take photos of the frames we like for further inspection and decline our business. I will never returned to Visionworks.

Love this place. I have never been to Visionworks before. My husband went to get his glasses there. Mrs. Karen was helpful and overall phenomenal. She answered all our questions and made sure he got the best you can get for your and eyeglasses for a reasonable cost. He even received them a week early from his promise return date. Loved the employees and atmosphere there. We came back to get myself a pair. If you are looking for a great eye doctor and places for contacts and eyeglasses.... I recommend Visionworks to everyone. Everyone was super friendly and I loved how they followed certain guidelines regarding COVID-19. My temperature was checked at the door and I was also given hand sanitizer. They sanitized any frames that I tried on/touched and masks are required. I loved the eye doctor and it was just a GREAT experience overall. This place was a refreshing change from the other places we went on Saturday to see the DR and buy glasses. Staff were friendly attentive and interested in their jobs and customers. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable. They got us in to see the Dr within minutes of our arrival. The Dr really knew her stuff and was very thorough. i highly recommend this place. I also saved a lot more than what I would have spent at the Crafty place.

Dr. Desai’s assistant was very professional she made sure everything was clean and disinfected properly before proceeding with any tests. Dr. Desai Has been the best Optometrist I’ve seen. For years I struggled with getting the proper eye exam and glass prescription. I had my first exam a couple of years ago and Dr Desai nailed it the first time. Very professional and very smart. I returned this week and had another wonderful experience. The staff there are so helpful.

The employees at Visionworks are very friendly and helpful!! The store is always neat and clean. When I come in the store, it’s a great experience and I get called by name. There are hundreds of glasses to choose from and someone is there to assist me if I need help. The General Manger, Karen, is always in the store and making sure that I am taken care of. When I have my kids, the staff gives them paper and markers so I can choose the right pair of glasses.Thanks Visionworks for what you do!

I have found a new eye doctor. I was very impressed with quality of customer service from the entire staff. I have never had a doctor be so thorough and explain things in a manner that was relatable. My husband was as impressed as I was and plans on moving his business to this facility.

It was a very different but excellent experience. From the time I walked through the door to when I left I felt like they wanted to do business with me. There are so many places that are not very personable but I left feeling good about the experience. I have went to an eye doctor in the past that I am pretty sure they messed up my prescription but charged me for it. Not here they went out of their way to offer as many discounts as they could. I felt they took great care of my eyes and gave me exactly what I wanted.

Karen and Dr. Desai were absolutely incredible on my first visit.I had to reschedule due to work and they acted so professional when it came to removing my date and getting me in the very next day!Never have I had such a thoughtful and personal experience in an optometrist office and I’ve worn contacts and glasses for the better part of two decade.Go here for friendly service and open appointments.Thank you!

Went in for an exam and glasses. Ended up getting exactly what I wanted with great customer service. Revisited months later because my glasses were out of whack (from my own doing), and they fixed both pair for free in 15 minutes. Would highly recommend.

Karen is a phenomenal manager and she has unmatched customer service skills. Its so difficult to find employees anywhere close to having Karens capabilities and overall work ethic. Let me put it this way...if it werent for Karen and how patient she has been with me(and Ive been pretty needy)I would have gone somewhere else this year for my glasses. Many many kudos to Karen! I came to this place because my insurance sent me there it’s not about the customer service which was not good by the way very unprofessional, it’s about safety I need my glasses tremendously can’t see with out them I have a 3 year old who counts on me and I let them know this, now when I first came there I went thru their process and I picked out frames and when I picked them up I told the lady that they seemed off and she said well you have never had this type of lens u have to let ur eyes adjust to them I know I should have left them anyway but I trusted her and left with them, so my eyes never adjusted to them my problem is I just got a car and I can’t read the street signs and it’s much worst at night I let a lot of time go by at least 5 months which is on me I know that so I call my insurance company and they set up another appointment for me and I go in there thinking I would be helped instead all they do is play the blame game and play around with the frame and send me on my way and as I’m driving home I still can’t see street signs and I’m still in the same boat I was in when I came in there they didn’t care anything about my precious cargo they acted like they made adjustments to my lenses when they really did nothing and sent me on my way knowing I was in the same danger I was in when I came in their

I left another place and went to Vision works. The customer service there is awesome and the Dr. takes her time and explains everything. I also took my daughter and she was thorough with her and answered any questions we had.

The ladies at this location are beyond sweet and helpful. My exam was very thorough. I was even able to come in earlier than my scheduled time due to a personal scheduling conflict. I will continue to come to this location and you should to!

I walked in at 4:30 and was out of there by about 5:30 had to pick new frames which took a while due to my indecisiveness. It was quick painless and everyone was amazingly kind and friendly. They even remembered who I was from the time I went and that was back in 2017. The best part was I could actually joke and talk to all the people who worked there and not feel awkward or out of place. They treated me like I was an old friend and I really appreciated that.

I had lost my glasses and desperately needed my near vision pair to finish a detailed project I was doing. I cannot use $ store ones because of cataract surgery my right eye is set for near and my left eye is for distance.The Vision Work staff was polite, helpful and accommodating.!i liked the optician very much. I thought the selection of frames was very good and the prices very reasonable. I hope to pick up my glasses early next week.

I really enjoyed my experience at visionworks. The staff was very kind and friendly, and the doctor was very knowledgeable and approachable with questions. I had bad experiences at other eye doctors prior to my visit here and was a little nervous. I was able to convey that to the doctor and was reassured. My prescription is PERFECT. I didn’t have any headaches adjusting and don’t have to squint to see out my glasses anymore. I also really enjoyed the selection of frames. I’m usually very picky and have to settle on a frame but here I had a hard time deciding between a few. The glasses were also ready very quickly. They quoted two weeks and I was able to pick up in only one week. I was super pleased and will return.

As I walked in the checked my temperature. I had been visible sweating the high today was 97 degrees and my a/c was broken. My temperature was high of course and the lady to me to step to the side and helped the people behind me. Then she came back checked my temperature and it was still high because I was still hot. Then she told me to wait outside and she would hand me my glasses.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had with an eye doctor or an eyeglass service. The doctor is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain what she is doing and why. The staff is friendly and make you feel comfortable. I would recommend this business to family and friends and I will only be using their services going forward. NICE JOB!

I highly recommend the Savannah location to everyone. The staff is so friendly and attentive. I had a horrible experience at the location in Pooler so I was a little hesitant to go to the one in Savannah however, its the complete opposite of the Pooler location. Everyone in the Savannah location I very knowledgeable of what your insurance covers. I have 2 small children 3 and 5 and they made the experience so wonderful for them they didnt want to leave. The doctor is so nice she literally took her time with both my kids made the experience delightful. She interacted with them very well. Again, HIGHLY recommend this location to everyone.

Two of my children had eye exams that were incredibly thorough and tailored to each child. The Dr. found a drastic change in prescription for one of my children, and it was explained by the pre exam where they look at the back of the eye with so much light, and test for glaucoma The pupils are extra wide then. That means they are susceptible to higher readings. She looked at the old prescription and examined for that strength. It was night and day. The numbers were much closer and my child did not get an over corrected prescription because she caught it. Would definitely go back, and cannot recommend enough. 👍👓
