My visit here was amazing! I love the receptionist. I forgot her name, but she was a joy to be around! The staff was so nice and Dr. Jay was just wonderful! He checked my eyes maybe 4 or 5 times running some tests, because he had some concerns… just wow! That alone made me feel so at ease, because my eye visits in the past seemed rushed. I left this office feeling at ease and great about everything. Thank you guys so so much ❤️

Vanlyn is INCREDIBLE!! I wear contacts and also wanted a pair of glasses for daily use. She explained all my insurance benefits to me, helping me choose the best course of action and making sure I understood everything that was happening. I would give her six stars for her kindness, her attention to detail, her patience, and her overall service. I liked this location before but now I won’t go anywhere else :)

I visited this location Saturday. I was in need of a repair. The young lady advised me that she couldnt tighten the screws, but she didnt stop there; she explained why the repair couldnt be done, she went on to perform a workaround for me *which did help*, and then she cleaned my glasses. Excellent customer service!

The staff was very helpful, and took care of my needs as soon as I entered the store. The store was adequately staffed, resulting in no wait time. Covid -19 protocol was courteously explained and the staff was equally serious about customer safety and customer service. Neither was comprised. The inventory was good & resulted in my eyeglasses being available for pickup in 3 hours. Great job.

I had the best experience at the LensCrafters in Twelve Oaks was amazing. Between Dr. Jackson and the retail associates they all greeted me as soon as I walked into the door and made sure I felt welcomed. Briana (ASM) was able to help me and guide me through the process of choosing new glasses and lenses. They were very knowledgeable on the different type of frames and lenses they offered. Towards the end I was able to choose the perfect frame and I was very satisfied with my decision and definitely will be returning to this location.

Went in just expecting to price lens and frames...came out with a pair of eyeglasses ordered, an eye appointment and well be returning for a second pair of glasses after the appointment. Wed priced around elsewhere and the prices here were very reasonable. Staff was super-friendly and patient with both me and my wife. We left happy! Recommend checking them out.

I visited Lencrafters today. Ms. Melissa assisted me with a new pair of frames and Ms. Van took great care of me with making sure my sunglasses fit perfectly.

I broke my glasses on the weekend and my spare ones have not more the same prescription, i wasn’t able to drive and felt extremely dizzy! The gentleman( Robert) I saw, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! He was able to put the lenses of my broken glasses into my frame, ( with the outdated prescription), for a temporary use until I will receive my new glasses this week, so that I am able to see and drive my car! Since I have a multi/ transition prescription with glare protection, my lenses are not in stock( that’s a absolutely normal thing) and I am gladly driving the extra miles any day, because of the wonderful customer service and the wide selection of beautiful designer frames! LensCrafters, gained another faithful customer and I can only encourage, anyone who needs new glasses to switch to LensCrafters located in Savannah on 5500 Abercorn Street, in the Publix shopping center! From start to finish I was in and out in one hour! All of the staff were very kind and friendly. The optometrist, Dr. Johnson was very thorough and efficient. I certainly had a very pleasant experience and would recommend this office.

Emily was very helpful and gave me her honest opinion of which frames looked best.

I went to that store to return a ray ban sunglasses that I bought on line, the ray ban website reads that sunglasses can return in store as well, and one associate was busy way client and told me that she will help me as soon she finished with the client, so I was wait for a minute or two and then another associate said “ yes ma’am” I told her that I would like to return the sunglasses that order on line and she said and very rude tone “ we can’t do that you do it yourself on line no thru here, I said the I information on line said that I can come to this address to do the return, she said “ no, no we cannot do it, I said well thank. She vas very rude person.

All despite not even buying my frames there, I had ones I got online that I needed prescription lenses in. Great service!

Worst customer service ever. I ordered my contacts on 6/17 and they were lost in the mail. They then sent my contacts to the wrong address. I called numerous times and spoke to many people about a refund. It is 7/16 and I still have not received my refund. Would never recommend this place.

The Doctor is patient, the other reps are good at what they do. My biggest problem is how long it takes for you to get your glasses is quite ridiculously long.

It’s understandable that with COVID-19 the service may be somewhat affected but a patient (wearing proper mask)that comes accompanied by a spouse (also used proper mask) and to be set aside to wander or stand because they’re not the patient simply leaves you without wanting to return specially when they rely on that person to better communicate. Needed an eye exam but will search for another option. The optical staff were slightly better yet the doctors section staffing very rude service and little variety, don’t recommended at all.

Just arrived in Savannah, accidentally sat on my glasses and broke them they took me right away fixed them and did not charge me they were amazing thanks so much!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I lost a screw out of my VA issued glasses. When I went in the store was busy but an assistant manager came out and asked if she could help. She quickly repaired my glasses an told me they dont charge for repairs even if they didnt sell the glasses. She was very friendly.

Great help from the associates but there frames are a little pricey. Might be because they only offer high end products. Overall you get what you pay.

I recieved an outstanding service from Melisa. She was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to insurance coverage.

I believe my representatives name was April. She was nice and professional however she wasn’t thorough and seemed to be just trying to get a sale. When I received my quote she told me a price and it was more than I typically paid. So I had to ask specific questions to figure out what all was included. I was never explained the services and benefits of the additional services. Well all was well and upon checking out I noticed a warranty charge. When I asked her about this she responded stating it was there warranty. Well when I asked her about scratch coating she told me I didnt need it because there was a warranty on the lenses but she failed to mention there was a charge for them. I worked in sales for over 6 years so the way it was handled came off as dishonest and trying to hide fees. I have been a patient for 2 years + and this was the first time I ever had this type or interaction with the staff.

The receptionist and doctor Jackson were very pleasant and I liked them a lot, however the rest of the store needs some serious management. I sat around for almost 45 minutes while 3 sales reps sat with the same 3 customers moving at a snails pace. If you know youre busy in mid-afternoon, have more staff available or have staff switch between multiple customers at once is helpful (there are 2 desks right next to each other for that reason, Ive seen it done at well run stores) I was so frustrated, I left without ordering my contacts (which would have taken them 2 minutes).

The providers were polite and professional. They made sure to follow social distancing and a strict cleaning and disinfecting protocol.

Just appreciated the great value package. April the licensed optician was AWESOME. PPE was followed.

I am of the same opinion as Mary Shelato, Dr. Jackson and the others on his team gets 5 stars.LensCrafters people however not good at all. I sat and waited over 30 minutes to just have my frames adjusted while they took care of people that came in long after me. I finally reached my patience limit and left. I will continue to see Dr Jackson but will never buy anything at LensCrafters again

I had a terrible experience at LensCrafters 12 Oaks today. I showed up for my 12:15 appointment only to be told I have no appointment. The office manager and general manager couldn’t rightfully explain how the error occurred, after I showed them an email confirmation of my appointment. Only giving me an explanation that corporate must have made an error. The store manager tried to accommodate, but said the wait could be a few hours. The desk manager didn’t even try to make things right. I felt they didn’t value me as a customer and patient of Dr Jackson. Luckily I was able to go elsewhere and was seen almost immediately. Not only did LensCrafters lose my business today, they also loss the rest of my household.

Extremely rude! I walked in to buy some prescription eye glasses only to be halted by a lady servicing another customer & yelled at me “we are only servicing buying customer, none of that browsing stuff” I told her excuse me? That’s what I’m here to do. She said I can’t find your information in our system when I just purchased eye glasses from there 2 months ago!! I will be escalating this to corporate.

This location gave me an appointment same day. Also, I started feeling my blood sugar dropping while waiting to go back and the very nice lady at the front desk offered me candy to help! Also, the doctor is very kind and informative. I definitely recommend this location.

I had a terrible experience at LensCrafters at Twelve Oaks. I was treated rudely and unfairly by the LensCrafters associates and management. They repeatedly refused to fix the problem or make the situation right. Dr Jackson is fine so go to him if you want, just don’t buy glasses here!

I brought my prescription here to order new glasses. When I got my glasses, the lenses were off. I tried wearing them off and on, but every time I put them on I felt dizzy and got a headache. When I brought them back, they compared my prescription to the glasses that had been made and told me that they made them with the wrong prescription. They told me at first that I was SOL because it was past the 30 days (which was never mentioned to me when ordering them), but eventually got manager approval to correct THEIR mistake. When I received my second pair of glasses with the correct prescription, they were no better than the first pair. I was told to leave my glasses with them, and they would call my eye doctor to verify the prescription and make sure that they had the right info on file for me. The sales associate told me she would call the very next day and let me know asap. After waiting several days, I called and spoke to the same woman, who told me she was sorry that she forgot all about it, and would call the next day. After several MORE days, I called back to talk to another associate. This has been going on since October, and it is now almost February. I have paid in full for my glasses with absolutely nothing to show for it. I would not recommend buying glasses at this store.

The young lady that took care of me getting my frames was excellent! Could not have been a better experience!

When I came in for my appointment I was ignored for at least 20 minutes. Not even a “hello, we’ll be right w you”. Donna ended up helping me she was nice. What really gets me about this store is how I have to call at least 6 times before anyone will answer. This is extremely irritating. I do not recommend this store. 2/10.

Dr. Jackson took the time to answer all of my questions. I am a diabetic so I had concerns about what the disease was doing to my eyes. He was very patient and answered all of my questions. The staff were very knowledgwable and were great in assisting picking out frames and the type of lenses I wanted. Even though I wasnt able to get my new glasses the same day (Saturday), they had them ready on Tuesday. Great staff and service. Excellent experience.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Jay Jackson and could not be happier with his examination, the high-tech equipment, his knowledge of the problem, his friendliness, and the outcome. I got my multi focal glasses in an hour, and they are perfect. I havent seen this well in years. I might add that his staff is friendly and professional as well. I highly recommend LensCrafters, Dr. Jackson, and his staff.

Worst customer service experience in a long time. Just walked out moments ago. Was greeted by a very friendly sales person who referred me to the doctor’s receptionist. As I walked towards the desk to make an appointment the receptionist asked if I could read the sign, doctor out for lunch. Then waved the sign at the salesman saying “can’t you see the sign”, I walked out immediately as the salesman apologized for the rude receptionist. I was merely trying to make an appointment for later. I will be contacting the corporate site and the doctor personally to make a complaint.

Glasses broke while on vacation so I went here for help. Ended up having to buy new glasses. Service was excellent and everyone was very nice. Glasses were done in an hour however the there were spots on the lens and they needed to be redone. Second pair took about 45 minutes. Overall it was a very nice experience.

I would NOT recommend. I spent over $600 to get glasses and contacts which make my eyesight worse than before. When I had my eyes rechecked they insisted my prescription was correct and that I would get used to it. I tried to schedule another appointment months later when the situation didnt improve and they told me they would charge me for a new appointment and I was outside the return window. I have reverted to wearing my old glasses because the ones they sold me dont work.

The service I got today was just amazing! I first went to their other location at the Oglethorpe mall in search of new glasses for my 4 year old son and the employee was just so nice and friendly and showed me some pairs but the one I liked was way too big so she suggested I go to their other location down the street to check out their bigger selection of kids glasses. Once I walked into the other store I was greeted with a warm smile and even though all the employees were helping other customers they pointed me to the kids section until they could further assist me. As soon as I picked out the pair for my son we were taken immediately to get them sized and adjusted for him. The whole staff was very patient working with us since my son was getting a little impatient being there and kept a smile on their faces the whole time. The glasses were ready in exactly an hour like they promised and once we walked back in the store we were greeted, by name, and someone got my son his glasses right away and adjusted them one last time before we left. Sorry I dont remember the names of all the employees but everyone that helped us was so amazing and I couldnt thank them all enough for such a great first experience in purchasing glasses! I will definitely be back in the future and recommend them to everyone!!! Thank you all for being so awesome!
