Buying a car is usually a nightmare. This has been my best buying experience at a dealership. Everything was fast, efficient, comfortable, fair, and honest. Likewise, my salesman, Kris Williamson, was really a great person to work with and I will definitely make Chapman my first stop whenever I’m in the market for a car.
Probably the best experience I’ve had with a dealership. Saw a vehicle I was very interested in online, and reached out via email. Chapman Weddle was the salesperson to help me out and he managed to get me a reasonable and honest deal. Out if the 4 salespeople I spoke to while car shopping online, he was the only one to truly help me out to get a deal. Got a price breakdown via email, and the next day I purchased said vehicle. No hassle, no surprise fees, or typical salesman lies. It was honestly a very pleasant surprise when I got to the dealership and the numbers I got via email were the numbers that were written on the purchase invoice. Also they gave me a very good price for my trade-in. Very impressed! I really recommend looking into this dealership for your next car purchase.

Service advisor Michael Hess was amazing! So professional and easy to work with. No BS. I initially went to Peoria Ford as they are closer to my home. Peoria Ford told me it would take them 5 days to look at a small piece of plastic that broke (sunglasses holder) just to tell me if it’s covered under warranty (that’s not including the time they said it would take to repair it)! I called Michael Hess that same day and with confidence he told me it would be covered under warranty and he could even get me in the next day (less than 24 hours) to get it fixed. I came in and was out in less than 45 min. Amazing service! I drive 35 miles to Chapman Ford but it was all worth it for the service I received from Michael.
Convenient, competent, friendly service. I was taking my car to another Ford dealership in the Phoenix area for service, but didnt care for the attitude of the service manager, so decided to give Chapman Ford a try. I like how their Quick Lane Service Center is separate from the sales building. Service is fairly quick, as long as you have a pre-scheduled appointment. I seen folks walk in and ask for an oil change, and turn away when told it may take a few hours. Not the service centers fault, just that they are quite busy, so be certain to schedule an appointment ahead of time. I will continue to take my Ford Edge to Chapman for future service.
Bought a new car at the dealership and were told by sales rep we had to fill out a credit form despite saying we were cash buyers. finance manager also knew we were cash buyers. asked specifically that our credit not be run. despite this, by the time we got home, our credit monitoring services had emailed us. our FICO scores dropped over 20 points from this. followed up with dealership and got minimal apology for doing this. asked for paperwork to be returned which had our social security numbers on it since the dealership did not need it. after weeks, got back a carbon copy of one page of the forms. I hope the dealership shreds paperwork because they were not careful with us. also, despite the invoice including various dealer add ons, they were not done to the car at time of purchase which we pointed out and then the dealership performed the work that was already invoiced. mediocre experience for us.

Purchased a car from Chapman about 6 weeks ago, car already has a check engine light and is blowing 2 codes about my speed sensor, took it into a shop and they also stated my control arm bushings are rotting and need changing. I bought this as a Certified vehicle that went through “evaluation by a qualified technician” why was none of this brought up when it was “checked”. Almost 2,000 in repairs already and had the car a month, completely disappointing.
I went to Chapman Ford to look at a 2018 Mustang GT with my girlfriend. Every sales rep we talked to had a great attitude and were very friendly. This dealership has a welcoming feeling. I even spoke with Justin, Craig, Shawn & Dave who are the managers. Great personalities from all of them. I ended up not purchasing only because Mustang GT was an automatic. I look forward to getting a call from them when they have the Mustang I’m looking for. I WILL be buying from Chapman Ford & highly recommend this dealership to everyone.

Whether it be sales or service, I have yet to find an employee who is not more than happy to help with whatever you may need.Having been a customer at a dealership where this is not the case, I find myself relieved to know that there are organizations who do care about the customer, who take pride in their work, and who enjoy being the one who can help you when you have a need. Ive purchased a 2015 Mustang from Ford AutoNation Scottdale a year ago and had issues with it shortly after. Apparently my fuel tank was damaged and causing the check engine light, a 2500$ repair which Ive been waiting for since June. I was therefore looking for a different place to take my car for service and repairs.Chapman Ford is that place. Byron was my service advisor, he performed the requested 60K miles service and saved me some money by not changing what wasnt necessary, nice surprise on the bill !Moreover, he diagnosed my check engine light to be from a defective purge valve (not the fuel tank), after checking with me, he replaced the part and voila: its fixed, and everything done in the same day. Perfect before the labor day week-end since I had to drive to San Diego.Great communication during and after the service, you guys definitely earned yourself a new customer !

My experience buying a vehicle Chapman Ford was stellar. The salesman helping me (Bryan) was kind, helpful and always available to answer my many questions. As a first time buyer Bryan made sure to explain everything so that I clearly understood the while process. He truly cared about helping me get the best car for me. I never felt like I was getting pushed into a deal or making one that I wasn’t quite comfortable with. I would definitely recommend Chapman Ford if you’re looking for a new car!
Brought my car in for a 7 a.m. appointment a couple of weeks ago for a couple of quick things, get told it should be done by the end of the dayGet ghosted, no updates by the end of the day. Car sits outside all weekend getting rained on, and they didn’t even touch it so I took it back when I went in Monday morning to grab my work bag.Now they keep sending me service reminders, and then I keep getting sent to voicemail when I try to contact a manager.If they weren’t saving me an hour drive to the dealer I bought it from, I wouldn’t have even given them a chance to make amends.Would rate customer service 0/5 if I could.
Had an Appt with a lady named Amie Barnes, some guy came out and said he worked for Amie, that he would be helping me..why didnt Amie come out and help me?? Wasnt impressed with this dealership..they didnt act like they wanted to sell me a car..offered me a pittance for my trade in..buyer beware..I didnt see too many people at this dealership looking for cars...

I had been looking, for a while, for a GOOD used intermediate size 4 dr pickup. Hadnt found any dealer that could meet my price/options..that is, until I responded to an internet ad At Chapman Ford in Scottsdale. I was met/assisted by Dedrick Fisher.. EXCELLENT customer relations. Found the vehicle I was interested in, and while I did not agree with the first few prices, they worked with me and we finally came to terms that were satisfactory to me! I now have a beautiful 2017 GMC Canyon SLE! Thank you Dedrick and all the staff involved at Chapman Ford.

After being in an accident finding a vehicle that offered exceptional safety features was important to us, and he was very good at explaining in detail the different features offered in the vehicles we were interested in. The car we purchased a 2021 Ford Escape was exactly what we were looking for. My AC went out on my Ford Expedition during my road trip from Washington to Arizona. Luckily I was able to quickly schedule an appointment the next day online at Chapman Ford in Scottsdale, AZ. After diagnosis they said I needed to replace my entire AC due to my compressor falling apart. After nearly paying $1700 for the AC, it barely blows cold! I noticed this right away, but continued to drive it to see if it would improve. When it still wouldn’t blow cold, I took it in the next day but they told me they couldn’t see me until the following day. Unfortunately I am from out of state and that wasn’t possible for me. Now I’m back in Washington state, 1400 miles away, with a poor functioning AC. According to the techs notes they verified AC pressure but they didn’t actually bother physically checking to see if my Air Conditioner blew cold during this heatwave! This was an expensive and unexpected expense for them not to confirm it’s working condition. Extremely disappointed with this situation.
Purchased an amazing 2021 Explorer ST at Chapman Ford Recently. The professionalism and knowledge of the salesman (Michael) was top notch and helped make the overall buying experience much better. Finance/Documents process was completed in reasonable amount of time and painless. I would recommend anyone considering a new or used Ford to give them a try.

I bought a vehicle from out of state because they had the right color and options. Against my better judgement I financed through the bank they recommended instead of my local bank. Now Im having trouble getting the title transferred from their shady bank and I have a brand new truck in my driveway that I cant register and drive. Remember...when a dealer suggests something, its for their best interest, not yours!

Horrible experience with the maintenance department. My tech David came across as condescending. He was short with me and rarely made eye contact, all the while having a perky attitude towards older customers. It felt like I wasn’t even a customer. My car was in the shop for a lightbulb change and I told him what number to call me at and he ended up calling someone else’s phone number. I dropped my car off at 8am and had to call him an hour before close just for him to tell me it’s been ready for a while. The text message service status was incorrect and said it was still in the ‘inspection’ status. The Volkswagen dealer down the street has such a better atmosphere. Again so disappointed to be treated like someone who didn’t buy a car from this dealership.
I recently purchased a 2004 F150 from Chapman and I honestly could not be happier with the vehicle. The truck was sold as is but a issue did arise after the purchase which after contacting Chapman and finally working directly with the Sales Manager Craig... Not only were we able to come to an agreement for a repair, he reminded me that excellent customer service and service recovery still is a thing in the world. I will be bringing my truck into Chapman the next time Im passing thru AZ.

Well, I must first share this: I am a retired automotive professional and a military veteran. I retired after spending my final days in the business as a sales & finance manager. So, when I started shopping, I knew exactly what I wanted and how I should be treated.I sent out no less than 7 internet inquiries to different dealers. The results were astonishing and reminded me of why I was successful: I always made it about the client and didnt make it about me or the dealership I worked for.The one and only response I received that did exactly that for me was from Aime Barnes at Chapman Ford. Aime was personable, POLITE, and respected my personal selections and desire to business with ease and respect.I am about as easy going a customer as youll find so I was hoping that the managers would honor my past experience as well as my desire for an easy, pleasurable buying experience. There was none of the typical 2 manager intervention or hard sell. Aime handled all of the minor negotiations and completed the paperwork in no time at all.In fact, anything short of 4 or 5 hours to complete a car deal is amazing. We were in and out in under 3 hours. Again, just amazing.When it came to finance, it was also just as easy. Steven was polite, respectful, no hard sells, and we were in and out of finance in less than 30 minutes. To reiterate: this is amazing.I cannot say enough about our experience. I would recommend Aime and the team at Chapman Ford for any of your automotive needs. They have the best product both new and used, and are fine people.

We bought our F-150 from them a little less than a year ago. They made sure to treat us right and were pleasant every step of the process. We had been shopping around, and this was BY FAR the best experience we had.Recently, I had to deal with a warranty issue. I went to a Ford dealership closer to my house and instantly regretted it. These guys really helped me out are the ones that got everything straightened out. I couldnt be happier, and will be returning here whenever we need an upgrade.
This isnt even hakf my story here but ill start with this. WORST place for car maintenence. Water pump failed three times in 6 months and now and my car is still overheating i hear they whistle in my water pump again. Now that my warranty is up these people do not want to take responsibility for their faulty work and putting my car and livelihood at risk and wasting my time. They procrastinated to the MAX on every BLATENTLY OBVIOUS issue until post warranty. I would never recommend them to anyone, bad mechanics, and even worse reps.

They FORCE nitrogen and window tint. Wont waive it. 1295.00 add on plus 600.00 to them to process the paperwork. Scumbag operation. Go somewhere else.

Had a great experience purchasing a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Price was fair and people were nice to work with. I was hesitant to work with Chapman after a bad experience at the Chapman Value Center in downtown Phoenix. This location is run much better and people are much friendlier. I would recommend this location, Kyle the salesman and John in finance were professional and courteous.

I took my Mustang here for some pretty significant engine work which was covered under warranty thinking this was a reputable dealership. My Mustang seemed like it was in good shape and repaired properly. I then had some modifications done to the car and had the same engine issues the dealership supposedly repaired. I took the car back and they refused to repair it this time or even give me an estimate. I even bought another vehicle from them before this happened and this how they treated me.

Why dont the employees All wear their Mask and practice Six feet apart? Some employees walked around like Covic 19 wasnt even real! Very strange. The Elder who help me with my Car wore his Mask and was very polite and courteous plus Professional 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾But theres an Old Lady that sits in the front of the Customer Breakroom that displayed poor Customer service by selecting who and who not to speak to🤢🤮🤧And the Young Lady with the curly hair in the Front Service Department when you drive in was Polite and Courteous also very Professional as well🎯

After having NO luck at AutoNation in N Scottsdale, dropping my car off TWICE without having them even look at it.. i brought my car down to here instead and they looked at it right away and were able to diagnose a check engine light and replace parts in about 4 hours. We drove into Arizona Sunday night from Oklahoma. The check engine light came on as we came through the mountains. Chapman got our car in the shop first thing Monday morning. They even “Uber” us out and back for breakfast while they worked on our car. Service Rep Tim Beal kept us advised each step of the way as to what they were finding. What could have been a disastrous start to our vacation was resolved in a half day. Thank you Tim Beal and Chapman!
We just purchased a 2020 Ford Escape Hybrid from John Dichristofano at Chapman Ford in Scottsdale Az. Amazingly enough, it was a very pleasant, professional experience from beginning to end. We shopped at several dealerships but John was the only salesperson who went above and beyond to get us a great deal on our Escape, no pressure just hard work on his part. We highly recommend John and the rest of the folks at Chapman if you in the market for a new, good folks. And this comes from a car dealership cynic!!
I want to preface this review by saying I am not an unreasonable person. Simple communication is everything.I came to this dealership to purchase a used Ram 2500. It was a fresh trade in that was receiving a lot of attention so to ensure I was number one on the list I placed a deposit of two thousand dollars. After about a week of waiting for the paperwork from the previous owner to get turned over to the dealership, I was called and notified by the salesman that unfortunately they would not be able to sell me the truck due to extensive cost to repair emissions modifications/deletions.It was unfortunate but not much to be done about it. So I went to the dealership 01/03/2021 to get my deposit back, yes I know a Sunday. Upon arrival, I was informed that the accounting department were not in on Sundays but would be in 01/04/2021. I came back 01/04/2021 shortly after opening and Steven the finance guy, who also happened to be the same person who helped me on Sunday, to get an update on when I would be getting my deposit back. I have never felt so much disrespect from someone in the customer service industry ever. It was like I inconvenienced him by even coming in at all.Well the conversation we had was brief to say the least, but I do remember one key part.We are busy doing months/years end, so getting your money back is not a priority.I dont know how he could tell me getting my money back for a deal that fell through on their end isnt a priority. That was absolutely ridiculous. And again, I didnt walk in demanding my money. I asked if they had my check or a time table when I would be receiving it but he couldnt be bothered to follow up or answer any of my questions. Since he was so busy lounging in someones office doing work as all of them were laughing having a grand ole time. Hard to hide not working when all the walls are glass. That is extremely disrespectful and shows what little concern he has for customer service and regard to peoples money and business decisions. He couldnt give me an update or even check on it because hanging around with his buddies was more important than a customer.I will never refer anyone who is in the market for another vehicle to go to this dealership which is a shame because the salesman who helped me and the director of finance were extremely respectful and professional.

Matt Robertson and Candace Garcia, to name just two though there are undoubtedly many, are totally dedicated to good customer service. Obviously it helps that Ford makes good cars and that this facility is very modern and comfortable; many other dealerships can boast the same thing. Chapman can boast they have outstanding service, which is much more uncommon.
This was my first car buying experience from a dealership and everyone that helped was was absolutely amazing. Jamie (I think that was her name) was super friendly when I walked in and got me a sales rep right away. Now Richard, he is the man. We did a test drive almost right away and he was able to show me lots of features in the car. I traded in my own car and he helped me to load stuff into my new car and had such a great attitude even though it was an hour after closing at this point. Steven was also super positive and friendly while I signed the paperwork even though it was getting very late. Richard helped to sync my phone and get some of the basics covered before I was able to leave and he made sure I was comfortable with everything. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to help me and I truly appreciate them and their time!
Scott Riley is the guy you want to talk to very knowledgeable about Ford and extremely knowledgeable about mustangs wonderful personality really tries to get you the best deal he is definitely my new car salesman for when my family is wanting a new car!
Brought the raptor by the first time and had a pretty poor experience, no phone calls, no time lines just text messages not explaining much of what was going on.Got it figured out spent about 2500 dollars on maintenance.Now I have a slight problem of a fender flair fell off. Stopped by and asked if they could have a look. Take a pic of get the vin order some Parts, schedule and appointment something.The gentleman I talked to response we are to busy for that.Got it, understood, Ill bring my business somewhere else.

I ask myself how does a ford service center have a vehicle for 10 days and not make any progress on the vehicle (E350 shuttle bus) dropped off to them ?be careful and make sure to communicate thoroughly with the folks here before you leave your vehicle. thankfully they did take care of the towing cost to a capable shop.

I visited chapman ford for a full service oil change. I ask the manager should I be concerned about any issues. The reports my car is in good shape with no issues. After I started my car the oil change light was on. I ask can they reset it. The mechanic told me it needed to be fix after I mentioned it to him. They fail to inform me of a malfunction oil light. That is bad for business.
Hi my name Jeff stephens.I started looking at some of the used cars for commuting.I had horrible time just getting someone online to start.When I finally was able to get help I had my eye on a small car.Set a date to be there had app with internet manager Erik knox.The day before going he text indicated he would not be there in the morning set me up with another sales person.After getting there waited 15 min before being helped. After 2hr drive to get there plus my brother taking off work.Was told the car was not for sale.The Trans was out.And was very directed toward cars they really wanted to shove down my throat after at a higher price I expected this from lower budget car dealer not one of this size.So thanks chapman for wasting at least 4 hrs of my day off plus 40 dollars in gas plus food

But Matt, Tim, the finance team, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. They made the car ready for us, treated us with respect and care, and got us the car we wanted with minimal fuss.I had a great experience with them.
Called in for a recall that Ford has sent me a letter for. Asked clearly on the phone is this something you need parts for? Do you have everything you need to complete the repair?. I was told there were no special parts needed, so I scheduled an appointment for the next day for the recall and an oil change. I drop my car off first thing in the morning and I get a call mid afternoon that they dont have the part they needed for the recall but can get it tomorrow. Okay great, they also recommended additional repairs which I told them to do and I would get the car the next day. Guess what, the next day I get a call with them telling me we cant get the part well have to order it. Okay fine, thats two chances but heck Ill give you guys a third. Im told they will call me right when they get the part. Well guess what? Its been well over a month and I havent heard anything from them and I know I never will. Im sure if it was a sale and not a safety recall Id hear from them everyday. Ive spent thousands of dollars at their service center and its not even the closest dealership to me. This isnt the first bad service experience Ive had here either but I wont go into those.
Was told diagnostic was one price and charged another. Was also told warranty would likely cover some or all of it (it didnt). $450 for spark plug change. Dont recommend going unless you have money to blow.
I live 3 hours away. Worked numbers before I got there. Kyle was amazing! Gave me more than payoff for my trade and made the numbers work to my comfort. Best experience I have ever had!!!
